Body & Brain in Westminster is a great place for anyone interested in improving their overall health and wellness. Meghan is a very experienced and thoughtful instructor who takes the time to understand what’s important to the student. She puts in the time and energy to make sure we understand the theory behind the technique for success.

I started Tai Chi with Meghan in February, 2025, and it is truly one of the best practices I have the privilege of experiencing. Not only are the classes fulfilling and rewarding, but Meghan's guidance and techniques are masterful in their own right. She has an amazing energy that is contagious and it's obvious she loves what she does and enjoys sharing it with her participants! The energy work, breathing techniques, stretching and overall training has completely changed my body, strength and agility. I look forward to her classes and enjoy the energy, positive attitude and ease that I feel every time! In addition, a great benefit is being able to attend the classes online when I can't be there in person. It is a Truly rewarding experience and I highly recommend everyone make the change and join her classes!

I am a member of a BnB in Virginia and a big fan of their health and wellness classes. While visiting Denver recently, I had the opportunity to take a class at the Westminster BnB with Meghan. Meghan is an excellent instructor and an asset to the BnB family. I recommend BnB to anyone wanting to improve their overall wellness, strength and flexibility.

Meg, Toshi, and the entire staff create such a warm and welcoming space for both beginners and experienced practitioners to explore Tai Chi and Qigong. Their deep knowledge and inviting atmosphere make every class a joy to attend. With a variety of classes offered each week, there’s something for everyone—but my favorite is energy practice. It feels like combing your fingers through stardust! Every session leaves me feeling energized, relaxed, and deeply connected—ready to take on whatever life brings. Highly recommend!

I’ve traditionally done more martial arts, lifting and yoga for exercise and was initially looking for something more mobility focused somewhere in between those. While these classes provide the movement I was looking for, they also provide much deeper mental, emotional and psychological aspects combined with the movement that I wasn’t expecting and didn’t know how much I needed. The instructor Meghan and members are incredible, and this is a very special and safe space for healing. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Toshi my instructor with Body and Brain is exactly what I've been looking for! I wanted to do taichi for years but never made time for it, and now I'm in a deeper need for spiritual, mental and emotional help/growth (physical help too ;). Since I started taking classes, I have left each class feeling more cleansed, confident, and more capable of owning my day. I feel understood with a wonderful instructor and an amazing company. Every fellow member I've met has been kind and non-judgemental, and there's a variety of classes you can take according to what you prefer - I couldn't ask for a better place. Completely grateful thank you so much, Kamsahamnida!

After many years away from much physical activity and working through weight gain and chronic pain, I dipped my toes back into qigong, tai chi and yoga. These classes are easily modifiable to your fitness level and both encouraging and invigorating. It's a welcoming, respectful but fun atmosphere where I don't feel self conscious. The mind-body approach is exactly what I need. I've now committed to a membership and I look forward to continuing my mental, spiritual and physical fitness journey with Body & Brain Yoga & Tai Chi! The Center Manager, Toshi, is wise beyond his years and is a natural-born teacher. His classes include stretching, strengthening, lengthening, invigorating, energizing, a deepening of self awareness, consciousness-raising, breathing and meditation. He has an engaging personality. He is compassionate and intuitive. Smart. And good at technology! I attend on line regularly on Mondays and Wednesdays. Sometimes on Fridays. The more regularly a person attends, the more benefits one will receive! Highly recommended!

“Toshi is an excellent teacher. His classes are energizing and fun. I also really like the meditation, it leaves me feeling very relaxed and centered. He lets you know how far to go in a pose if you have injuries/weaknesses, which is really helpful. He also pays individual attention to people in the class. He will re-position you to help you get that extra boost from a pose and has helpfully re-positioned me when I’ve over-extended. I am attending to Yoga Detox, B&B Yoga, Taichi /Qigong and Vibration. Highly recommended!”

We also experienced peace and calmness during the process. Would highly recommend, especially if you’re a desk worker.

I’m so grateful to have discovered this place when I did! It’s been so interesting to learn about a whole other type of energetic yoga combined with Tai Chi through attending these classes @ Body & Brain.
Master Toshi has been very welcoming, kind, & understanding — and he is very wise!
To me, this place is not your typical “modern fitness studio” — but a type of practice & community that is dedicated to aiding in emotional & physical healing, as well as mental management.
(This experience has also been very complimentary to my recent personal therapy journey as well.)
They have many programs & workshops available to deepen your practice too.
If you’re curious about yourself, or want to know more about these Eastern practices, then I highly encourage you to try!

I have been attending Body & Brain Since December 2021. I signed up and attend the online classes. The great thing about Body & Brain is you have choices: Attend In Person or attend online. With support from other locations, you can comfortably like I have, attend online via Zoom in the comfort of your own home. The sound and video quality has always been good for me and the instructors has always made sure they cater for both in person and remote participants. Master Christine has led me on my journey and even though Yoga is foreign to me, she has guided me with ease on my journey to my betterment. To give an simple example how this has helped me, I broke my ankle 7 years ago, and my leg and ankle have never been 100%. Since December, I have noticed less swelling and tenderness in my ankle and leg, and it is getting better daily. Visit and take a single class and be converted like I was. Kamsamnida.

I thought I had to add an extra comment which is life changing for me. For the first time in over 30 years, my cholesterol levels are normal. Yes normal. Doctors have tried unsuccessfully to find a way for as long as I remember. All that has changed was my guide Christine recommended I reduce my gluten and lactose intake, and take part in daily yoga classes and workshops.

Body and Brain Yoga gave me the tools I needed to address and manage my stress and anxiety - not just during a class but in my day to day living. Four years ago, I was desperately looking for something I knew I needed but didn’t know exactly what that was, and I finally found that with Body and Brain. Body and Brain didn’t heal or fix me, they helped me heal myself with relaxation, movement and breathing techniques, and they continue to give me the support I need to be a strong and healthy individual on a path of growth.

Body & Brain Yoga Tai Chi training draws on powerful traditions from the East. At the same time, it is presented in a very accessible and relevant format for our modern times. The studio is still open by appointment through COVID, and is a beautiful, peaceful setting. The online community is also very active, and either option provides great opportunities for personal growth, healing and plenty of support along the way.

As a male of 60 years, I recently decided to look into yoga. I didn’t know much about the activity but I thought it might help counter some of the effects of aging that I’ve been experiencing. I did an internet search and discovered a Body and Brain Yoga and Tai Chi nearby, and decided to pay them a visit. I had a very pleasant meeting with Master Suho (manager) and conveyed to her that I had no experience but was interested in learning more. She described to me what the program was about and I decided to give it a try. I purchased a membership and have been with them now for about a month.
This place has delivered beyond expectations. From what I can tell, they have five instructors that lead class on a regular basis. They have other specialists that visit for special events but I haven’t gotten into that yet. These instructors are amazing. They are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated to the craft. Master Suho has done an admirable job putting this team together. They create an atmosphere that is warm and friendly, yet with purpose. Each brings their unique style to the class while imparting a unified message. And their instruction is clear, consistent and with focus.
Class itself is a lot of fun. We stretch. We do strengthening exercises. We work on balance and on endurance. We also incorporate controlled breathing and bring mental focus into our activities. The seventy minutes goes by quickly. The truly amazing thing is how I feel during and after the class. My head is clear, I’m relaxed and I know I’ve done something good for myself.
So if you’re looking to Sweat To The Oldies with Richard Simmons, or Pump Iron with Arnold Schwarzenegger, you may want to keep looking. But if you’re looking for a friendly place with good people and quality instruction, I suggest you give Body and Brain-Westminster a try.

On my way to get a shoppers fix at TJ Maxx, with Zolof in my system for depression I was persuaded to step over to the Dahn Yoga Center next door for an energy assesment. It was a Sunday in 1998 in Mesa, Az that started a shift in my pyhsical body and my conciousness. Within 6 months of training I was off the Zolof and living a more healthy and happy life. After several years of absence from Dahn, I moved back to Colorado and once again looking for something returned to Dahn yoga, now known as Body and Brain Yoga. I came back to the practice years older and wanting to recover my vitality . I found that and more, i'm healthier, happier and more peaceful. For the last two years I have been dealing with arthritics pain in both shoulders from sports injuries. I am now pain free; the secret cure: my wooden pillow, plate balance exercise and regular attendance at the Body and Brain Center. Yes, you are asked to attend a variety of workshops for your growth....it's your choice...

The tapping my stomach 500 time did not really work for me, there was not enough stretching posses for me and thestudio was way to bright. On the upside I loved the tea at the end of the session. I can hardly believe I've been practicing Dahn Yoga almost one year. I started looking online for some way to lower my stress. I read the info about Dahn Yoga and was very intrigued. It has been an amazing journey from the first meeting until now. I learn something new about myself and/or the practice each time I go. I'm grateful for the instructors who show genuine kindness for everyone around them. They are thought provoking and helpful in my personal journey. I have learned how to manage outside stressors and found ways to keep external problems from overtaking my thoughts. I am so much more aware of my body and how it's functioning, and more excepting of my limitations. I am equipped with knowledge now so I can handle difficult things that come my way. I have been going now for 3 weeks and have noticed significant changes in my flexibility as well as my thought process. Last week between a pick up game of basketball, I walked towards the basketball rim and the first thought in my mind was "I can grab it". So I stepped back and made my jump and surely enough I was able to grab the rim of the hoop with BOTH hands. Since my ACL tear in my right knee, it has been over 13 years since I have been able to do that and am lucky to just touch the rim with a finger so to fully grab the rim was an incredible feat in such a short amount of time. I attribute this Dahn Yoga!!!

I wanted to update my December 2013 review (see below).
Since that review, management has restructured and there have been several positive changes.
The level of instruction has improved markedly, mostly due to the fact that the current manager, Amy nim, teaches class regularly. Her instruction is superb and she has an intuitive sense regarding what direction to take each class. Her communication during class to correct a pose, suggest graduated levels of difficulty, etc., adds a personalization that creates a unique energy amongst our community of practitioners. The number of people attending class is back to our previous high (yet comfortable) levels. It feels good when you walk into the class, People who practice yoga know what I'm talking about. Oh and another thing. The musical selections complement each segment of the class. I am grateful to have a voice and be part of this evolving studio. My hope is that Dahn Yoga is able to leverage their unique approach (which highlights the study of energy) and adapt as needed in order to grow their business successfully. The changes I've seen in the studio in the last month give me hope.
Review dated December 2013:
I have been a Dahn Yoga member at the Westminster Center for a little over a year. Up until a few months ago, I was relatively satisfied with my membership although they really push you to take extra workshops which are hundreds of dollars. Sorry, but I joined to take classes and I shouldn't have to fork over that kind of money to do "extra".
Recently, the management has changed and the quality of the instruction has eroded to the point where I leave class early, frustrated that the instruction is sub-par. I could do better being at home watching the Yoga in a Chair Lady or following a DVD.
I have spoken with the manager, James nim, numerous times about the quality of the classes, and am nearing the end of my rope. Our previous manager, Amy nim, taught classes every day and was an excellent, skilled instructor. Our current manager is also skilled but he always has lots of reasons he cannot teach. Why was our previous manager able to teach but he is not?
The number of people who attend class has decreased dramatically- from about 10-15 a class to now maybe 5-7. That should be a warning in and of itself but James nim seems more invested in selling his private $100 per hour individualized healing sessions.
I hope my next review will be more positive but right now, my reluctant advice and warning is DO NOT JOIN THE WESTMINSTER DAHN YOGA CENTER.

I have been a member of Dahn Yoga for a little over three years. I originally became a member to deal with some physical issues that had prevented me from doing regular workouts at a health club of which I had been a member for a number of years. I wanted to do some exercises that would improve my strength and flexibility but without aggravating the injuries I had sustained that were preventing me from doing my regular routine at the health club. Through Dahn Yoga I have been able to do this. In fact, in the process I also lost 65 lbs. and feel better than I have in the past 10 years. Even more importantly than all of these things, however, I have learned some facets of the art of meditation and other mind-calming techniques. Now, when I am under stress I use this to relax my muscles and my mind. If I don't have time to do a thorough job of meditating I can at least breathe deeply and do some exercises in my office at work to help relieve the stress. Long and short, Dahn Yoga is about a lot more than improving your strength and flexibility, although that is a big part of it. Now, after three years of this practice I am happier, I have more confidence in my abilities in my regular employment, and I have a much more optimistic view of the future since I now have more tools I can use to deal with the stress and challenges of life.
I would recommend Dahn Yoga to anyone. If you just want to improve flexibility and strength you can do that. If you want to learn more about meditation you can do that too. There is also Tai Chi and a non-fighting form of martial arts available to members, as well as other specialized trainings. If you really put your effort into this you can transform yourself however you want. I know this because I have done it. It hasn't been an easy road and I am still a work in progress, but now I feel better about myself and have confidence that I will continue to improve my health, my outlook on life, and my ability to deal with future challenges.
