I have been a loyal member of Chuze Fitness for over four years, and I am deeply disappointed by the discriminatory treatment I recently experienced. My membership was abruptly cancelled after I was heard speaking Spanish—my native language. Staff claimed it was “disruptive,” despite there being no evidence or complaints from anyone around me. This incident represents a serious lack of inclusivity and cultural awareness from a company that promotes itself as community-oriented.
When I attempted to reach management for clarification, I was met with resistance. An employee, David, refused to provide contact information for anyone in leadership, preventing me from addressing the issue through proper channels. This lack of accountability is both unprofessional and unacceptable.
It is disheartening that, in 2025, discrimination for speaking another language can still occur in a place meant to encourage health and community. Chuze Fitness should take immediate action to address these issues through better training, oversight, and a genuine commitment to diversity and inclusion.

No member should ever be made to feel unwelcome, disrespected, or targeted because of their culture or language.

There is not a bad Chuz location, but the Englewood Chuz location has my favorite pool. Dimmer lights make the pool area feel more relaxing for the hot tub, saunas, and steam room. The is pool cool and feels just right after several laps.

I really enjoy going to this gym! They have a lift lab with lots of squat racks, a glute machine and all the equipment I need. Everything is always so clean and the staff is so friendly! It's busy during peak hours but there is a lot of equipment to use so you aren't waiting to long if someone is on machine you need. The massage chairs, sauna, hot tub and lap pools are a great touch!

the staff are so very unkind. when i started everything is done at the front desk. the staff is multitasking with other guest so signing up was very confusing. nothing is shown to you just staff trying to explain everything to you while helping others. i’m neurodivergent and it was very confusing. but we got it accomplished. later i noticed some strange charges that were on my card. when i came to the staff, i was helped by the manager Alicia and she was so very annoyed and unkind to me. just kept telling me i agreed to it and i kept trying to explain to her I'm not understanding what these charges were. there was really no resolution, i had to walk away because there was no doubt that she was going to continue to write me off. i had to reach out to someone else to get a clear understanding. though the charges were fixed i try to tell them how confusing this could be. all it was, was excuses. they continued to just make me feel like l’m the idiot for not understanding the process. i did end up canceling my membership. it was obvious that i was just another person they could try to swindle money out of. i will say that the facility was nice and that’s why i gave it 2 stars.

This used to be my favorite location, but unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill. The pool is not clean, and today I drove out of my way specifically to visit this gym and get a shake only to be told the system was down and they wouldn’t honor it.

As a business owner myself, I would’ve found a solution for a loyal customer who has supported the gym for six years. Instead, I was turned away with no resolution or empathy. It was disappointing and showed a real lack of care for members, even when the issue was clearly on their end. I even offered for them to take my name down and charge me after their system was working again.

I’m seriously considering canceling my membership and switching to a different local gym that values its community. The so-called manager is super aggressive as well, I tried to avoid her at all cost. This just isn’t a place I feel comfortable coming to anymore because they’re not reliable and then they take it out on the customer who’s trying to purchase their products.

Pretty clean and love the staff. The only caveat is that there is one pair of 2.5lbs plates so if you're looking to base your workouts off of percentages on the free weights, just be prepped. They used to have a bunch of 2.5lbs in the passed, but they disappeared off the main floor? I've made the staff aware of this repeatedly but nothing has happened. Hope this gets fixed/situated. Beware of discrimination towards males. How come you may ask? Second time here within a week and when using my buddy pass with my daughter Mr Andy accepted my scan with no other requirements: no photo, no id asked. Same happen to my friend when she brought in her female friends. FREE PASS. Then today Mr Jamie & Mr Andy were like the police of the Chuze. My future son in law was barred since he didn’t have an id at the door. I get it he should’ve have brought it but so girls get a FREE PASS and it’s up to their own decision when they want to follow rules or not.

I have been going for a year now. I love the staff and the inclusivity that they uphold. Apart from a few mechanical errors, this gym is amazing and I highly suggest a membership with the wonderful staff and community. I especially was pleased with the kindness and understanding that they showed when I was having trouble due to chemo and the frustration that followed. Literally the worst service at a gym I have ever experienced. I have a lifetime and 24hr fitness membership, and wanted to grab another membership with kids care so I can workout with representatives from my company. I signed up my fiancée and had 4 other people sign up as well. My first journey into the gym was being greeted by no one at the front desk regardless of 3 people being on staff. I went to the restroom and came back and my mother who I was going to sign up as well still was not helped when I returned and instead they helped two other people. I asked to get set up for the membership and expressed the rush to get going for the child’s care and if I could even just buddy pass my mother and the LEAD explains you get no buddy passes which is false for the 55/m membership which I already purchased for my fiancée and my buddies all got this as well at my direction. Then tells me about buying day passes and was a horrible impression of the leadership standard for this gym. What a joke of customer experience and I’ll be cancelling her membership and find another gym for company to use.

Absolutely pathetic. Don't get me wrong... The front staff are great. But the management in handling the infrastructure SUCKS. And to be fair, running a gym is not easy. But WOW what a failure of proper maintenance.

The gym manager here must do half reps, skip leg day, and forgets to wipe down equipment. If you need help "spotting" where the issues are, let me know.

Been a member since they came to Colorado. The steam being down for a month now stinks. And at this location, unlike all of the others, they don't post what time of day that they're going to close the sauna for cleaning. I had only been in there a few minutes when we all got kicked out. Unlike everybody else at this gym, a blonde lady with glasses could not have been more rude(2/24 @3:30p). She seriously doesn't fit the mold of the type of team member I've come to expect here. I'm trying to come back from 6 surgeries so I need one or the other or I need some kind of a warning. And the excuses on the steam room are pretty lame. I'm actually in the industry that builds steam rooms. You could get the entire system replaced and permitted in less than 5 days.

After all of these years, I do believe it's about time to switch gyms.

So. I'd really like to be a member at this gym. It seems awesome. But I hesitated.

There's a 30 dollar fee to use a credit card. That... I don't think that is something I'm budgeting for.
They want you to give your banking information instead. Always paid with a credit(, or debit) card, I have.

In addition to the 55 fee each year in addition to the advertised price. There are some additional cost to all of that, to the advertised price.

Again. I'd really like to join the gym. Just that's a hurdle.

I like this gym mostly because of the friendly staff, the movie theater, and the hydromassage chairs; moreover, I appreciate the attitude of the gym rules (no grunting or slamming weight-swoll dudes look elsewhere), and the gym-goers are pretty mellow, although this particular location skews rather young. I don't love it though because the men's locker room is way too small, making it really annoying to change-- come ready to workout to avoid this claustrophobic mess. Overall, it's just an extremely busy gym, so if you need some place chill, this is not it.

Edited: I downgraded my rating because it's become so busy that it's challenging to find a time in which one can access the requisite equipment for a workout. And the steam room has been down for about a month, which was one of the primary reasons that I bought a membership. I'm probably going to cancel soon because it's not like anyone wants to use a steam room in the summer, which is apparently the next time that it will function.

The amenities at this location are far superior to other Chuze locations. The Lift Lab is my personal sanctuary—it has such a great vibe and doesn’t have that ‘Costco feel’ like the common area. With the sauna, hydro massage, tanning, cardio theater, pool, hot tub, and a wide variety of group classes, I truly feel like I’m getting the best value compared to other gyms in the area. The Lift Lab offers the intimacy of an Anytime Fitness, while the extensive selection of equipment far surpasses Vasa. Plus, I’ve never had to wait for equipment—highly recommend!

Michelle in Aqua Zumba is so awesome! I enjoy coming to this gym and have for over a year now. I love all of the amenities, classes, movies, etc. I do really, REALLY wish they would put hooks I. The pool area for towels and robes, as well as hooks in the bathroom stalls!!!!!! Whether you’re just going to the bathroom or you’re trying to change privately in a stall, we NEED HOOKS!!!! I’ve been asking for over a year, that is the one major complaint I have. The staff is friendly overall. It’s a clean gym, they are always mopping and cleaning the bathrooms, the maintenance guy is super kind as well. We need some hooks, tissues, and to ensure the sanitizing wipes are stocked and used.

This gym is great for the price! Affordable, lots of equipment. Love the lift lab, just wish there were more dumbbell options in there. It’s really random weights. It can get pretty busy, as with any gym. I tend to go midday and it isn’t as bad. The internet is finicky. Works sometimes and not at others. Overall though, you can’t beat the price and amenities. Would definitely recommend. Just a few things need to be tweaked and it could be a five star place!

Edit (4 months after my prior review): They still haven’t added weights to the lift lab. Why skip 20 lbs? And 30 lbs? And now they’ve added the side yard, which is great! Except again, the weights are weird! You skip 20 lbs and 25 lbs. people can’t go from 15 lbs straight to 30 lbs. please just buy the extra weights to make this an overall 5 star gym.

Chuze is great however, the kids club inconsistency is ridiculous. You never know when they're open or if they are at capacity. It's extremely frustrating to drive 20 mins with a 4 year old looking forward to going to kids club only to be told they're closed at 5pm on a Friday. But if I want, I could drive another 20 mins to the Bowles location, theirs is open. Sooo I drive the extra 20 mins to be told they're full. Maybe look in to reserving a spot like you do for classes, makes sense doesn't it? Or perhaps have the same hours every day? Just a thought....

The pool and hot tub are amazing and well maintained. This is one of my favorite locations, lots of parking and they even have a smoothie bar.

The staff is beyond helpful and always very kind and welcoming.

I live closer to the Littleton location, I come here because of the staff friedliness, cleanliness and how well they take care of the gym. They were do a nice job to make you feel welcomed and appreciated.

It’s a pleasure to swim in their pool especially because it’s not freezing, it sits at a nice 81°. Keep up the great work guys!

Amanda is the absolute best! Englewood Chuze is already one of the cleanest gyms I've been to. This includes planet fitness, vasa and 24 hour fitness and a few other chuze locations. Just started going here about one month ago, absolutely love it.
Super clean and well maintained. Staff greets me right away, even at 5am and after the first 3-4 days, I was greeted by name.

The actual gym community here is great. I’ve shared sets, spots, and tips with both men and women and everyone here that I’ve met and seen so far is very nice and supportive.

I don’t feel judgement by anyone at anytime and it’s great seeing the same faces grinding everyday at the same time.

I recently canceled my membership at Chuze Fitness Englewood due to ongoing safety concerns, particularly for women. I experienced harassment from male members, and despite reporting it multiple times, the staff dismissed my concerns and failed to take any action. This gym is not a safe space for women, and the lack of accountability and respect from staff makes it even worse. As a paying member, I expected the gym to prioritize safety, but they failed to create an environment where women feel secure. I hope they take these concerns more seriously in the future.

I've been using this facility for just over a year. I find the staff to be friendly and helpful. The Ambiance is positive and people are friendly. It doesn't matter whether you are a 20-something fitness geek or a 60 something senior trying to stay in shape. Everyone is accepted. I use a fitness app for my workouts and most of the time the equipment that I need is available. If not there's an easy substitution. I highly recommend this facility.

The Chuze Englewood location was great! The facility was clean, and I have no complaints. It received a score of 9 because I prefer the setup at S Peoria. I think the layout and overall space there are better.

Chuze is a great gym! I enjoy going to the different workout classes like yoga, cycle, weight lifting, etc. I also like the salt water pool for swimming laps. The smoothies are also very good and competitively priced at $7.50 each!

Beautiful gym in Englewood, Co. I have visited five Chuze gyms in AZ. and Co., all nice gyms, but this one is by far the best. It is the biggest, best equipped and very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely take the time to try it out.

WHERE DO I START?!! Oh my gosh, I love this place. I’ve been going here for the past two years since I’ve moved here and I could not have made a better choice. I’ve brought so many friends and some have gotten a membership based on their experience. Everyone is so friendly and they know me by name. They’re always asking how my day is and it’s a very personalized experience. Not only that, the members are amazing too. I’ve made a handful of friends just by working in some sets. Englewood is the best Chuze.

I’ve been coming here for a year and can say chuze does pretty good at keeping their machines fixed and are quick to fix if they are broken. Staff is always friendly and non judgmental :) pretty good space if you’re looking for a gym that isn’t always over packed!

I recently had an issue where my membership ended and I continued to be charge. I contacted Curtis at this location and another female supervisor, they escalated the situation and handled it with great customer service skills. If you’re looking for a gym in this area definitely use Chuze. If there is a problem they will handle it for you. Thank you guys for being mature and actually HELPING your customers. A+

Way too busy for my liking. Even at 5am I had to wait for equipment and evenings are worse. If you are a people person and like waiting for equipment, this place is for you. The equipment looks in good shape and the facilities is clean hence not a one star because I am not going to ding them because I don't like crowds.

This place has been on a steady downhill since I got a membership 2 years ago. The staff is ok and the equipment is but the benches are hard as a rock. The real issue is the people that go here though, it’s filled with kids taking upward of a hour on on Machine and people who will stair you down for little to no reason. Horrible and inconsiderate Community

Chuze Fitness in general is a wonderful place for any of your gym/exercise needs! The staff are absolutely amazing and helpful, it's very cleanly and for me personally I don't feel like I'm being judged or compared to anyone when I go, so there's no pressure at all. Although Chuze Fitness didn't personally work for me, only because of they're select locations, I would still no doubt give 5 stars! Give this place a try!!

I often visit the tanning room. When I ask for 9 minutes and the machine only gives 7 minutes ok. the roof often leaks in the area of ​​the dumbbell rack and the employees simply put buckets for water until the roof and pipes stop leaking🤦🏻

Place is always clean and the amenities are superb!!! They have hydromassage, tanning, tons of lockers, childcare, classes, a heavy lifting room, tons of weights and machines, tons of cardio equipment (some in main area and some in a theater where you can watch a movie), regular saunas, infrared sauna, steam room, hot tub, and 3 lap pool, showers too! All for only about $32 a month which includes guest passes, workout at any location and virtual fitness classes too!

I love this place. Plenty of cardio equipment, machines, and free weights and I am a big fan of the turf area for the sled. Also, the sauna and hydro chairs are a must. I've participated in several classes and every single one was enjoyable. Kudos to the fun staff too. Their app pairing with my watch is amazing as seeing the data tracked so well has kept me super motivated.
