I love how clean, welcoming and well maintained Chuze is and I want to mention my favorite instructor, Teresa G. She is motivating, positive and makes every class fun and challenging. Honestly I’m only updating this review because of the aqua aerobics instructor today. We were in the hot tub and that crazy lady kept shushing us like it was a freakin library. Bro. I’m a head coach and GM of a group fitness gym and I don’t even shushing people in my own class who are talking so rudely. What’s wrong with you? Your 5 minutes of power really going to your head there lady. All the other staff has always been great but dude, you’re doing water aerobic for like a couple dinosaurs in a super echo-y pool room and you’re gonna shush me like that? Get over it.

I've been going to chuze fitness now for several years and I have traveled gyms all over the country moving 25 times in 5 years. So I've seen The good, the bad and the ugly and chuze in Highlands Ranch is without a shadow of a doubt the best gym I've ever been into with the most incredible staff I've ever experienced.

The morning crew is who I'm most familiar with as we're there in the gym daily starting at 5:30 a.m. most mornings except for those rare days off, of course.

The morning staff starting with Rachel. Maddie, Meg, Cam, Alex and Brian are all five star champions.

They never fail to give an over-the-top greeting no matter how many hours of rest they had the night before or how tired they may feel. They are never less than and I appreciate that wholeheartedly. They never fail in this department and to me this is everything. They are the emotional entrance.

I just wanted to send a message to anybody that's looking for reviews of whether they should join Chuze I believe it's one of the most fantastic gyms in America today and the one in Highlands Ranch I'm special partial too. I love those guys!

Very rude, and racist interaction with front desk employees. Jackson at front desk denied my access to gym after rudely interrupting conversation with another employee during sign up. said that because I didn’t need his help and stated he “didn’t like my tone as a black man(I’m mixed with black and white by the way) but couldn’t tell me what I said that was rude. My experience at the Highlands Ranch Chuze fitness location was absolutely one of the best times that I’ve had since I have been a member with Chuze. I normally go to the Denver one, but it turns out they’re just not doing their job and keeping up with the facility so I chose to drive 45 minutes out of my way to try out a new gym. And it turned out to be one of the best experiences I’ve ever had!!! From the moment I walked in the customer service was on point. The facility was absolutely clean and gorgeous. The pool area was clean. There wasn’t any trash or bloody Band-Aids anywhere it was a breath of fresh air to walk into the steam room and have the door actually close and it not smell like dirty sweat. I will not be returning to the Denver facility. I will only be going to Highlands Ranch facility because they are the best at keeping a gym clean and on point thank you so much Highlands Ranch team for making my experience enjoyable I no longer feel the need to quit Chuze fitness.

The experience you would want with any business. I have not had a single bad experience here. The facilities are in amazing shape, the amenities available are great, the employees are friendly, and they are constantly going through and cleaning. I don’t think I’ve gone more than 10 minutes in my workouts without an employee comping by to clean nearby equipment. This is probably as close to perfect as a gym can be. The parking lot is a little tight for how popular this gym and strip mall is but that’s definitely not a deal breaker and the gym doesn’t have any control over it.

The ladies who open Chuze at 4 a.m. are an absolute delight! 😍 Their smiles wake you up better than any cup of coffee, they’re super friendly, and they genuinely make you feel seen and valued. It’s not just a quick “hi”—they take the time to chat, ask how you’re doing, and somehow make getting up that early for the gym almost fun (almost, because burpees are still burpees! 😅).

Only complaint is one older gentleman who always seems to be there when I’m working out, who treats the turf area like his personal dance studio - prances around for hours dancing and lip singing (hard to miss). I’m not sure if this individual works here? It’s very distracting and I may have to switch locations just to avoid the guy.

Don’t come here if you are hoping for childcare. 9 times out of 10 they are at capacity. It’s so frustrating to get kids ready and in the car only to be told it’s a 45 minute wait. Hire more staff or stop signing new members up for the childcare memberships because you can’t handle what you have.

This is specific to the Highlands Ranch location. The Englewood location’s childcare is incredible.

I genuinely enjoy many aspects of this gym—it’s well-equipped, clean, and offers a lot of value on paper, especially with the Max membership that includes Kids Club. However, I’ve experienced repeated frustrations that I hope management will take seriously.

One of the main reasons I chose this gym was the Kids Club. As a mom of two young children, having childcare available is essential for me to be able to consistently work out. Unfortunately, more than half the time I arrive, the Kids Club is either understaffed, has a long wait (often up to an hour), or is not available at all. Today, for example, I arrived around 10:45 a.m.—well before closing—and was told there was an hour wait. I asked for the reasoning and they said they were short staffed. I couldn’t stay, so I left disappointed and tried to make do at home. I was called less than 20 minutes later saying I could come back and that they over estimated the wait time, but by then it was too late.

This inconsistency makes it very difficult to rely on the facility I’m paying for, and it undermines one of the core reasons I chose the Max membership. I understand staffing issues can arise, but this seems to be a persistent problem.

Additionally, customer service is hit or miss. Some staff are friendly and welcoming, which I truly appreciate. Others seem disengaged, particularly when asking for assistance with services like protein shakes, which are advertised, but rarely staffed. You have to go to the front desk because they ignore anyone standing at the shake counter. It feels like we are inconveniencing them.

I’m sharing this feedback not to complain, but in hopes that improvements can be made. This gym has great potential, but consistent staffing—especially for services like Kids Club—would make a significant difference for parents like me who are trying to take care of their health while juggling family responsibilities.

Great gym, I visit from out of town and the staff is friendly and helpful. The equipment is well serviced and clean. As a Top Realtor in Fresno CA, and partner for the Designated Local Expert Network, I often travel and work a high-stress transactions. Being able to work out and relieve stress is paramount. This gym is actually pretty damn good despite my rating. I hold memberships to both Chuze and Vasa I always rave about how much better Chuze is in terms of cleanliness and location than the Vasa in Lone Tree.

Reason I can’t give them 5 stars is due to the unpredictable habits of of the closing staff. Monday thru Thursday the official closing time of the gym is 12:00 AM.
There are days that I go to this gym purely for the recovery value of the steam room and saunas. Unfortunately I have witnessed several occasions where the closing staff decide to close down the saunas and steam rooms anywhere from 30-50 minutes before gym closing. This is completely unacceptable practice since a more expensive membership is required to access the wet area and closing down that early is ridiculous and unfair to those who can only get to the gym past 11pm.
The thing is….there is no consistency or written policy to tell people when they won’t be able to be use the amenities; you just have to hope that you don’t get an unethical staff that is trying to get their tasks done so they can go home immediately once they’re done.
Chuze, I generally love you. But please instruct your staff not to cut corners and to honor the actual closing time thats listed; shutting down the sauna 12 ish minutes before 12:00 AM is reasonable. Closing at 11:10 PM is not, otherwise…why are we paying more for a bad deal.

This week, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and attend a studio class for the first time. Felipe, a highly skilled instructor, guided us through an incredible workout. Lots of entitled high school kids with poor to no gym etiquette. The staff never enforces even the basic rules of the gym and it causes mass chaos. Often very dirty floors and equipment. A lot of pads on machines are ripping. I've never felt so uncomfortable in a men's locker room as this place. There's constantly high school guys taking pictures in the locker room. I've seen excessive drug use in the locker room as well. You're better off finding another gym down the street.

This place is a joke. Dam 24 Hr Fitness for leaving this area. This is a teeny bopper hang out with disrespectful punks (including the girls) who are there to do a set or two while making goo goo eyes at each other. The bathrooms are FILTHY and the sinks are literally the worst I’ve ever seen in a gym. They’re always broken and out of soap. And in the Covid era you’d think they’d even be touch less. If I could give zero stars I would. So frustrating…. Response to Chuze response: clean the bathrooms, keep the soap dispensers full, and replace the sinks. Again, in the Covid era the idea is to move to touch less yet I have to tap the sink about 5 times to wash my hands. And if you had people to monitor the floor you could address the loitering. That is your responsibility, not the patrons’. ….. UPDATE 3/8/25: This place continues to go downhill. 3 more machines out of order Saturday morning. The turf area continues to be FILTHY and looks as if it’s never cleaned. Again, ALL the soap dispensers in the men’s locker room were EMPTY. And, as is now a consistent pattern, there was only one employee working the front desk during a peak time. I felt bad for him. Several people, including me, waited for 5-10 minutes just to ask for the hydro massage. No one came to help the employee either. Add that they removed the meditation pod and this place is entirely too expensive for what you get. And in Highlands Ranch, this is extremely disappointing. There’s always something broken in this facility and many of the patrons don’t care about anything. Amazing how awful upkeep and customer service has gotten in this day and age.

Really nice gym. I came from lifetime fitness which ended up being way too expensive for what you got and I’m happy that I chose this gym because it has everything you would need everything that Lifetime had they have just in a slightly smaller space with a less pretentious crowd. I love the concept of the cinema, especially being able to watch a movie as you’re walking on the treadmill in a dark room definitely good vibes. The only downside is most of their Hydro massage beds don’t work, which is disappointing when you want to wind down after a workout.

Please update your childcare hours in your new app. I showed up at 1 pm with my son after checking the childcare hours on the app ahead of time and they had closed an hour and a half earlier than the stated hours. I’ve been a member since 2019 and have never had an experience like today. I received the snarkiest attitude from Sarah the manager over not downloading a new app for the buddy pass, ( I pay 20$ extra every month for my buddy pass) we were in a rush this morning and wanted to be in and out and told her I’d do it tomorrow and received the worst attitude over something so silly, when they have a computer to sign in your buddy. This gym features all the latest equipment and attracts a younger crowd. They offer a 7-day free trial period. When I first arrived, they gave me a barcode tag for this trial. The tour is self-guided, so you have to explore on your own. I was initially impressed by the new equipment and amenities like the steam room, sauna, hot tub, and swimming pool. However, every time I visit in the afternoon, the gym is very crowded, and I often have to wait for equipment or stand in the sauna due to limited seating. I think that's the only downside! I decided to pick other gym because I don’t like crowded place. But other than that, it is a great gym for people who are looking for more exciting crowds and great equipment!

Decent gym great amount of space lacking in machines. God awful staff with next to no common sense and social skills. Also the fact the scanner to get in sucks major ass. Takes like 5 times to scan the code. Which I’ve never had an issue with at any gym. And if it doesn’t scan a staff member will frantically run after you and touch you. And this has been multiple staff members. Who frantically runs behind and taps on someone with noise canceling headphones on thinking it’s even a decent idea let alone a good idea. Only one shoulder machine I even fit inside of and I’m not even that tall. And most the cable machines don’t allow for full range of motions. Hardly any plate loaded row or press variations at all which is a shame they have more than enough room

NOT ENOUGH EQUIPMENT! This gym is in dire need of a double arm cable machine. There is NOWHERE to do double arm pulls unless you take up half of the entire cable area or use a machine that blocks the entire walkway and goes awkwardly into another machines space. The ken caryl location has just one of these machines and it's STILL not enough. I know chuze is incabale of knowing if there's not enough machines for something if there's 0 of them (no line for obvious reasons lol) - they need these machines. It's a standing machine with two adjustable arms.

CHUZE another gym…any other gym…

First off, I do not like to complain outside of the intent helping the public for awareness. I am a Highlands Ranch resident and have been for two decades. I have a blog I founded 11 years ago, based on Human Connection and Integrity that reaches over 45 million people. Please see list of relevant issues- all while another nice gym opened across the street… I Chuze to change membership as they Chuze to make up rules and enforce rules on the fly, without being professional, and have no focus on maintaining the equipment or tanning beds. See below for list of an honest experience…

Ever see the Friends episode on how hard it is to cancel your membership? Their own website says you can use the app- nope…their own website is misleading…they pick and chuze the rules they make up on the fly and enforce based on how you look.

Manager, Morgan, is extremely arrogant and they don’t work with customers to resolve issues. He has a reputation with members for being aggressive and treating members like cattle and violators. The entitlement was grossly apparent with sneers and threats to members.

Use your phone to connect music for headphones? Nope, policy is no phones are allowed to be used, and no bags…and Manager Morgan loves to claim he is ‘enforcement’ and treat you like a criminal.

The gym is full of young kids without gym etiquette. The staff is always obnoxious at the front counter and act like they are in middle school recess vs at a place of employment.

The parking is a nightmare - good luck finding parking.

Planet Fitness is across the street. I canceled my membership of several years, and am signing up with them.

A HUGE shout out to the staff at Chuze!! They went above & beyond for me today. I am a new member and still getting used to the systems and day use lockers. I have lost track of what locker I put my belongings in a handful of times already but today was very stressful. I did it again. This time I completely lost track of what locker I used and thought my stuff was taken. I started panicking. The help I received and the assurance that was given was positive and professional. Every locker was checked, video was checked and my items were located. I am extremely grateful for their help and how they remained calm when I was not. Thank you!

Edit for Owner Response: No, I canceled my membership today because of this and how it was handled. You will not see me again. You've shown me no loyalty at all, so I responded in kind. There are many ways to increase revenue/margins without upsetting your current client base, pricing increases for current members being the least effective.

Buyer beware: Their contract basically says they can raise their price whenever they want, and you have no protection from such actions as a consumer. Grandfathered pricing would be a great way to show loyalty to those who have shown loyalty to your business for years.

Valerie P, the Pilates teacher was not welcoming when I entered and just immediately asked for a confirmation code for class. I am on a trial and didn’t know how to get that and she said to figure it out or ask someone else in class, keep in mind I showed up early. She did the same with another person who entered and the machine outside wasn’t working. Her tone overall was not soft, patient, energetic, or welcoming. I remember coming here last year when I had a membership and she was the same instructor. Was also rude as well.

Horrible experience after working out here for two years. Poor attitudes toward paying customers. I'd rather pay to be somewhere that appreciates my patronage. If you have a conflict with staff, they will scold you and harrass about their policies. Stay away from this company if you want to be treated as a valued customer. When we canceled our memberships, Morgan, the staff supervisor said "oh, wonderful".

Most treadmills can't go above ~6mph
I can lightly jog on most of them at max 12.0 and trust me I'm not in that good of shape

They don't mark which ones can and can't so it takes a long time to memorize which treadmills can actually get to the required speed you need for your workout

For the price, Chuze is unbeatable. Plenty of machines, friendly staff, clean, lots of classes. But since its close to the local high schools, there are a lot of teens in there - which is fine. But unfortunately, most of them spend too much time sitting at the machines and/or the racks staring at their phones. There needs to be a policy that if you are on your phone, you can't be sitting at a machine. Period. Unless you are counting reps or entering data into a fitness app, it needs to be a phone-free zone. I've had too many altercations with people just sitting at a machine playing on their phone . . . who refused get off.

I love team training at Chuze! It is just the right amount of motivation to continue to grow and reach my goals, and get me into a physically and mentally great space in the morning. I’ve been going to this location for over a year, and I’m overall quite pleased with my experience. I rarely have to wait for any machine, tbh e staff is friendly and helpful, and they have all the amenities I’d want.
Downsides: if you’re going between 4-7 PM on a weekday, good luck finding parking. Some of their machines aren’t kept up super well (for example, weight number rubbed off so you can’t tell how much weight you’re using). Several of their TVs are often not on or working. They don’t use paper towels anywhere in the facility.

I actually love it here! Highlands will always be my home gym forsure! Theres no other gym like it and I go to four different gyms a week! Tony and will are AMAZING and I’ve built such great bonds with them and others who workout there! 4am people are my people lol! It’s clean always! I also seen a comment about all the broken machines and that is a very rare thing that happens! I will forever go to Chuze!!! I

Chuze is a great gym! It is so reasonably priced and has a wonderful variety of equipment and even when it’s crowded, there’s usually enough of the treadmills that people cycle off, so I have never had to wait. People are very friendly who work there and always very helpful.

As a concerned parent and a member of Chuze fitness I felt compelled to share my experience regarding the Kids Club offered at the gym. One of the primary reasons I chose to join this gym was the convenience of having a safe and enjoyable space for my child while I worked out. However, my recent encounters at the Kids Club have left me deeply disappointed and concerned.Upon dropping off my child, I couldn't help but notice a lack of enthusiasm and interest from the employees responsible for supervising the Kids Club. It's disheartening to see them visibly displaying disappointment when attending to my child, as if it's a burden rather than a responsibility. Moreover, witnessing two employees exchanging glances, seemingly in disdain, only adds to my dismay.As a mother, seeing such attitudes towards my child is distressing. Every parent expects their child to be treated with care, attention, and respect, especially in a facility advertised to provide such services. It's essential for the employees to uphold professionalism and demonstrate genuine concern for the well-being of all children entrusted to their care.I sincerely hope that lChuze fitness management addresses these concerns promptly and takes measures to ensure that all employees in the Kids Club exhibit the appropriate attitude and commitment towards their duties. Every child deserves to feel welcomed and valued, and it's imperative that the gym staff reflects these values in their interactions with young members.In conclusion, while the gym facilities may be impressive, the experience at the Kids Club falls short of expectations. Good equipment, the dumbell racks are well thought out. No 35pound plates, which make a lot of sense as you just add a 10 to the 25's, and less different size
plates to get lost or moved to wrong places. I really like the no drop rule and replacing the weights after use. All good stuff. The place is very clean and you have all the equipment that I really need and like. Well done!

If you want to go to a place that is constantly busy unless its 6AM and 10PM and every weight set it surrounded by high schoolers in groups of 5 and only the circuit and treadmills are available then this is the place for you . Even going during high school active hours its packed. Needs another location. Seriously. But the equipment is good. Everything is clean. Staff is crazy friendly.

I arrived at 4:00 pm in order to visit the Tening room, the employee told me that all the rooms were occupied, so I had to wait 6 minutes. In the end, I waited 11 minutes, and when I approached the employee to ask why he didn’t call me. He told me that he forgot about me. Although I sat opposite him all these minutes.
Also, I can no longer attend this fitness center for training, because any employee will come up to me and say that I do not have the right to bring my belt, chain, and the necessary equipment with me and carry all this in my backpack.

I dread the gym when using this facility. I know I will spend 5-10 minutes in the parking lot fighting for a spot. Once inside you have to fight for machines too. It is constantly busy here unless its 2 in the afternoon on a week day. I first went to the Chuze in Aurora and LOVED it. I moved further south and this is the closest location from the first visit I knew I would find a membership elsewhere. When cancelling the lady was rather rude as if it affected her personally that I was leaving. In addition equipment is often broken and for some reason this location more than others I constantly have older gentleman staring me down as I work out. It is very uncomfortable coming in here and not a good experience.

We Love the team at Chuze, especially The Team Training Trainers. Adam in Particular really makes it Super Fun, and Kara keeps the energy at 110%

We also Really love Ania, it's like Adventures in Yoga every time she teaches a class, far removed from the mundane typical flow you have everywhere! Her classes are as good or Better than the boutique Yoga studio we used to pay $130 / month for.

Lastly we really appreciate Sydney, how she's always asking for feedback, making sure we love everything and making us feel special.

Machines broken everywhere. And I’m moving out of state where there is not a Chuze and although I have been a member since they opened here( although I have switched membership type, the unfriendly manager would not waive the $50 cancel fee. Planet Fitness just opened across the street- go there instead, this place is getting old and staff no longer kind or friendly.
