Hi, I would like to leave some feedback about something that happened today at the gym. A red-haired girl was talking with the maintenance guy while she was “using” the cable machine. She said she was using both sides, but she wasn’t actually working out. Then another employee even came over to stand by the other side of the cable machine to hold it for her.

I just want to point out that the gym shouldn’t allow one person to occupy both sides of a machine without actually using them. This affects other members who are trying to work out and share the equipment fairly.

The corporation in charge of this facility doesn’t care. I recently joined from having an amazing time experiencing all of the amenities purchasing the more membership, to having a, want my money back no joke don’t want to go back to this place. Everything is breaking down and the manager of the place seems to be doing nothing about it, except for passing the issue down to the people who work there. All in one day, I went to enjoy myself in the steam room, and there wasn’t any steam. The room wasn’t shut down or anything. Three other people went in there, and we were all talking, this hasn’t been the first time this has happened. There was more steam from us breathing than anything. The walls were dry and that was a big indicator something was wrong. The hot tub was out of service, along with the sauna. The only thing looking pretty was the pool, but even salt looks like sugar. Didn’t check to see if the heater was working in the pool. It’s been 30 days ago since I looked into this gym. Haven’t even paid the $59.99 after 45 days annual fee and I already want my money back. This isn’t the first time the steam room wasn’t working. It was down the last time I was there to get into the steam room four days ago as I go to all locations up north. There are issues at those locations as well. The Westminster location is having the pool torn up for issues not specified starting tomorrow. The showers smell like mold, and the poor guys at the counter have to apologize for what a corporate chain is used to in hiding and collecting money doing nothing about these issues. Don’t purchase a membership at Chuze is all I can say, unless you like to pay for things that aren’t working. Because it’s not working out for me.

Don't bother trying to utilize the Kids Club services on the weekend. Chuze Fitness' management must not take care of the the Kid Club employees because they always call off on the weekends.

This gym is well-maintained and has the cleanest locker rooms and restrooms around - five stars. The staff is friendly, helpful, and busy keeping the gym clean - five stars. This gym does not blast music and its members are not loud and obnoxious - five stars. Keyless lockers - five stars. Free seven day pass - five stars.

However, I am not a fan of their Matrix fitness gym equipment. This brand is uncomfortable and poorly designed, due to its poor ergonomics. This gym is also cramped and small with a limited artificial turf area for stretching/working out. It feels like a bunch of gym equipment was placed in a hallway. Lastly, the parking lot is small, busy, and packed, especially on the weekend.

If Chuze Fitness had a different brand of equipment, a better variety of equipment, and a bigger artificial turf area, I would give this gym four stars. However, it would still have that cramped hallway feel. And the only way to fix that is to tear down walls and rearrange equipment.

I wish I could give the front staff a 5 star but do to the kids club I’m doing this,
I always have issues with the staff in kids club they don’t provide me with the right information I need and their policies are not what they claim to be in there.
They said they don’t allow babies in their car seat while they’re sleeping, they have to be awake do to their policies !!! I had to read their policies and it doesn’t say anything about not allowing babies in their car seat while sleeping so what’s the issue?

Staff is friendly and gym is clean. Equipment is generally in good working order, except the steam room and sauna seem to be out a lot.
Also really wish they'd get another incline leg press - their single incline leg press is always occupied. I haven't been able to use it in months, which is super frustrating.

Edit: Frustrated with the amount of times we are consistently turned away from kids club due to it being at full capacity. There is no notification or way to know it's full until you get yourself checked in and get to the kids club's lobby. There needs to be some sort of signage or notification on the front doors so nobody has to waste their time. But I'm also tired of paying for a service that we are regularly denied. It's become so frequent that I recently switched my gym time to go without my kid, because on the rare day I attempt to bring her (like today), the kids club is full. Today I even called ahead of time to confirm they had space - they said they had three spaces. I showed up, checked in, and had to wait fifteen minutes while a family with four kids figured out which three they were dropping off and which guardian would wait in the lobby with the fourth. Then I was told I had an hour wait.

Frustrating paying for a service that I have to navigate around because it's so common to get turned away for it.

Good gym. My only recommendation would be to put the kids club on a reservation system. It’s been difficult to use it because it’s always full. I’ve seen many families, mine included, get turned away for an 40-60 min wait. It’s hard to get the babies and kids in the gym just to get turned away. It would be so nice to make the reservations like other gyms in advance knowing we can get a good workout and use the kids club we pay extra for. Otherwise staff is super friendly, equipment is top notch, and it’s clean.

When I started going to the gym with my boyfriend—a longtime Chuze member and Military Veteran—I was immediately impressed by the welcoming staff, clean environment, and the lack of typical gym “douchbaggery.” The team has always been kind, especially toward my boyfriend and his service dogs, greeting them with warmth and respect (I must say, clients have been no exception to this either which is really nice).

We originally worked out in the early mornings and were lucky to have Dillon as part of the morning crew. He always brought great energy, loves on our service dogs, and made a point to learn my name—not just my boyfriend’s—which meant a lot. When our schedule changed and we had to move to evenings, the vibe felt completely different. There was a lack of energy, it wasnt as clean, and it was just kind of OFF. On one visit, I checked out the tanning amenities and was told, “It hasn’t been cleaned yet, but it’s not bad if you want to use it.” Yikes—no thanks.

So when we saw that Dillon had transitioned to the evening shift, we quickly noticed the difference. The space felt cleaner, the energy more positive, and it was clear Dillon had stepped into a leadership role that raised the bar. He’s respected by members and staff alike and clearly has a vision for the gym and the community he’s helping build.

As someone whose own career is people-focused, I notice when someone leads with intention and care. Dillon brings professionalism, presence, and purpose to the role. I can’t wait to see how he continues to grow with Chuze.

Was a member here for over a year and loved it however I recently had some family medical issues come up and when asked to freeze my account for the next couple months both employee and manager insisted i give them personal medical information as to what is going on and doctors papers as proof. When ask why that was necessary both became hostile. I then asked to just cancel my account and the manager had no probables doing it without any paperwork or anything. I was planning on come back to this gym because I genuinely like it however asking for personal information for a temporary account freeze is just a violation or personal privacy for me.

Till When The Broken Machine & No Steam ????
The employees here are amazing—super friendly and always helpful! However, I’ve been disappointed with a couple of ongoing issues. One of the ab machines has been broken since December and still hasn't been fixed. Also, the steam room has been under maintenance for over a month with no updates.

This gym accepts a huge number of memberships, but with broken equipment and limited amenities, it’s tough to get an effective workout. I hope management addresses these issues soon to keep the gym up to standard.

I have to say that this gym has been going on the decline for the last few years. Equipment needs more upkeep but my biggest complaint is they keep raising the prices on me...........when I first started it was 19.99$ then they bumped it up to 24.99$.........I just was indicated that I'm now paying 27.99$ a month and they didn't even inform me of this. I found out from looking at my online banking statements. For someone who has had a membership since 2019, I'm officially done!!

I have been with Chuze Fitness for 4 years & Have been to approximately 12 different locations, including Albuquerque New Mexico, Phoenix Arizona, Sacramento California, Englewood Colorado & Westminster, Colorado. The last on the list and worst is Thornton, Colorado Chuze fitness .All the rumors on the negative reviews are true. You can never get a complete workout in because people will sit on machines for 45 minutes to an hour, and the staff does not care. They will lie to you about their equipment being broken, and when it will be fixed rather than just being upfront and telling you, what’s up. This gym needs a restructure of employees and management. The bathrooms never get clean nor does anything ever get wiped down. How do you know? I go to the gym for 3 to 4 hours? Please have the Regional manager of Colorado Chuze fitness contact me. I choose to drive 45 minutes the opposite direction to go Highlands Ranch Chuze Because not only is it safe. The staff & gym folks come with Respect and manners. The staff keeps it clean & friendly. That Chuze fitness is your MVP in Colorado. Look to them as An example of how your gym should be run. Thornton Chuze do better please ! Be careful of theft in the locker room

I was at chuze fitness today. The fact that the tanning room is not in separate rooms but is located behind partitions from each other (I’m already used to this). But the fact that the employees have been unable or unwilling to clean the toilet in the men’s locker room for more than a month now surprises me. And every time I use this toilet, I think that “again, someone shit a bunch and didn’t flush!” Then I flush and see that the toilet remains dirty👎🏼

There's no judgement among people EVER!! I live right next to a gym in deep brighton and make the drive to chuze!! Worst customer service. Tried signing up for the deal online and even downloaded the app. Kept getting an error message so I called the Thornton location. The girl answered and I asked if I could sign up over the phone because I kept getting an error message. She said their systems were down and she is not able to do it over the phone. I asked if I went in, in person tomorrow, could I sign up and would they honor the deal. She asked the manager and they said they would not honor it. What horrible customer service, I'm wanting to join your gym and b/c your system is down, company wide, you are not going to honor the deal. I called Broomfield where they guy who answered was not a manger but had common sense and said that he would put a note in the system and honor the deal. Just disappointed that businesses do not hire managers who have better customer services skills and common sense. Now days with so many places to CHUZE from, these people who work here end up hurting the business with their bad customer service skills.

Really enjoying my membership. I prefer the early hours to avoid the crowds. Agree with other about the choice of music, kind of sucks but you can't have everything. Joined for the lap pool and that has been worth it. Only drawback do far is no bike racks!

I’ve been a member at CHUZE for about eight years, and every visit has been fantastic. Lorena who was the supervisor about 2 years ago always greeted me with a warm hello, making me feel welcome each time I walk in saying my name everytime. When they hired Dillon as the new supervisor the energy did not change! He is very attentive and fun to talk too. The gym is consistently clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant environment to work out in. It’s truly a fun and motivating place to be. I absolutely love this gym and highly recommend it!

This is been my gym for a long time I like it because it has everything I need for my fitness journey. From the weight room to the sauna swimming pool massages it's everything I need at a reasonable price

Never too crowded, equipment was always clean, plenty of free weights for the benches, and the extra amenities like the steam room were great. I would’ve kept my membership if I didn’t move out of state.

Update 5/1/24: beware parents of retaliation from the manager Loretta, She’s the only worker at all the locations that I ever been too, that has kicked kids out of the child care center for running and playing. For having too much fun! however at the kids club on Sheridan my son plays dodge ball there frequently. Make it make sense. This is the New random rule not posted anywhere- if you run 3 times and don’t stop they have employees of the gym come get you to leave the kids club early. Yet I have been going to chuze gyms for YEARS and see kids running and playing all the time. The excuse was there’s little babies around, which should be in a separate gated area like other locations. I get the “rules” posted however call parents or put the kids in time out. Better yet have this posted along with the “rules” on the wall.
So now, on purpose I will continue to go to this club frequently and observe how my son is treated going forward, I’ll be sure he follows every rule and if he’s still targeted I will immediately to contact corporate this time and demand to file a formal complaint for discrimination. GM of this location- please send me the 3 warning rule in my contract asap as this info of course wasn’t offered by Loretta.
She’s clearly mad I wrote numerous bad reviews specifically about her and this location.

Worst fitness center, kids club is always at capacity (of 10 kids). Yet they have no problem charging full price for kids club even though you have to turn around and go home. Rude girl with red hair shouldn’t be working there with such a rude attitude towards frustrated parents who pay for the childcare to workout, ridiculous there’s one child care employee when this is a mega gym and busy week day evenings. Management is obviously trying to cut corners on the budget.

Update 8/2023: Still only have 1 employee working at kids club but after speaking with the rude kids club manager Loretta I see why they have no staff. I would not want to work for her either. General manager refuses to call me back for a refund since kids club is NEVER available at this location. Which shows they are well aware of their staffing problems yet have no incentive for parents paying for a service they can never use here. Cannot wait to cancel my membership.

I've been attending this gym for about a month. They are always open on time, friendly and clean. I highly recommend this gym for your health needs. BTW, they have a pool.

Nice, clean facility, not too busy when I went around 9am Tuesday. Weight room was great with lots of machines and open cardio. Didn't check out the pool or anything else yet...

Absolutely love Chuze, this has been my gym for almost a year. Facilities are always clean and maintained well. Cinema is a fun way to end your workout before hitting the steam room. Sauna might get a little packed after work but its still worth it. Love doing the yoga classes here, the staff does a great job of rotating instructors for well rounded experience. Great customer service.
