At Colfax Strong, we offer group classes and personal training as well as nutrition coaching and barbell only classes. We focus on movements that mimic real world situations; getting out of a chair, putting a heavy box on a high shelf, squatting down to pick something up, carrying groceries, etc. We mix these movements up, so that no workout is the same, so that no matter the day or week throws at us, we are up to the task at hand!
We develop workouts for all levels. So whether you’re just getting started or a seasoned athlete, each class or personal training sessions is set up just for you! You'll receive high level coaching and be a part of a supportive and vibrant community!

After a couple of years of lazily lifting on my own and not seeing results , I decided to get serious about my fitness. I took a chance on Colfax Strong and joined the 3X a week semi private training. I am relearning good technique and pushing myself to the max. It is a serious commitment to my health and I chose the best group of trainers to keep me on course! I am easily one of the oldest women athletes at this gym and I feel accepted, capable and supported. I am most impressed by the knowledgeable coaches

I had not worked out in a gym for four years so beginning a strength training program was very intimidating. I immediately felt comfortable when I walked through the doors of Colfax Strong. Joining Colfax Strong gym is the best investment I have made in myself. Prior to joining this community my workouts were inconsistent and lacked variety. Prior to finding Colfax Strong I worked with another personal trainer in Denver for about 6 months. After just 3 months at Colfax Strong with Pam my weight, strength, and stamina have improved significantly and noticeably more than with prior personal trainers. The difference is visible and quantitative. Personal training here is thoughtful, customized, measured and tracked in a way that gives me multiple insights into my growth and progress. Pam specifically is kind, patient, tough, and invested in my success. She sees what I enjoy and where I struggle and makes adjustments that keep me engaged and challenged. For example, she knows I struggle to take a good rest between sets so she has me work on my balance or my core so I still feel like I'm moving while giving my muscles a rest. She's watched me struggle with learning new things and made on-the-fly adjustments to help me from getting discouraged.
Gyms are SO intimidating. Colfax Strong is not. Outside of Pam, who I love dearly, the whole staff is friendly, helpful, engaged, and encouraging. Also there are cute dogs to pet. 6 stars if I could. Really grateful to have found a space that makes me feel both comfortable and powerful. Pam is the best. She's my favorite thing. Dogs are also great. Good selection of cool t-shirts. Love the dogs.

Nick is one of the best coaches I’ve ever had. He makes sure to give one-on-one advice in every class by giving cues, help with form, and encouragement at the right moment to keep you going. Colfax Strong is the absolute best crossfit gym I've ever been to. I went here from 2021 to 2023, then left for a couple years and came back around six months ago. I couldn't believe how much I missed the community and atmosphere here! The coaches are all extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help out members both during and outside of class. The members are truly great people and the camaraderie makes workouts especially fun and like I can push myself even harder. They make sure to celebrate their members' wins, whether big or small, and it's so nice seeing everyone's progress and drive to be better. This gym has helped me immensely both mentally and physically and I'm so grateful for it.

It's not every day you walk into a gym and walk out with lifelong friends, but that's totally what happened to me at Colfax Strong. I joined the week I moved to Denver, and knew it was something special. Chad and Esther have created a space filled with encouragement, integrity, and real connection. Nick and the other coaches are thoughtful and personal, and their deep knowledge of fitness is matched only by their kindness and their ability to meet people exactly where they are. I have hit many PRs under their guidance and have grown the most out of any other gym I’ve been to.
What makes Colfax Strong truly stand out is the community. Everyone shows up for each other. There is no ego, just kindness, support, and a shared commitment to growth. Everyone celebrates milestones, big or small and it feels like I leave every class with a smile. They also have so many fun events from their famous Murph bbq, to Halloween parties, to summer outings!

Ester and Chad at Coflax welcomed me with open arms for my drop in while in Denver. I got the times mixed up and Chad took time out of his day to let me finish working out before closing. The gym itself is aesthetically beautiful. Tall arched wood ceilings with huge skylights. Equipment is all in perfect condition. I highly recommend checking it out. Enjoy

I have been a member of many fitness centers and clubs throughout my life and none can compare to Colfax Strong! It is an amazing place where all the members and coaches are extremely supportive and encouraging no matter your age or ability.
The owners, Chad and Esther, are very personable and do an awesome job keeping the gym and equipment clean and in good working order. They continually seek ways to improve members' experiences so we all can get the most benefit from our workouts and have fun. The workouts are very challenging but enjoyable. Additionally there are always organized competitions with other gyms and member social events throughout the year. Other services include periodic seminars on various aspects of diet and exercise, and volunteer events to help to help the larger community.
Recently Colfax Strong began a program for semi-private personal training sessions to complement their private personal training. I was able to participate in the demo of this new program and found it to be extremely beneficial in addressing many of my physical weaknesses and deficiencies in my olympic lifting techniques. It also allows me to get personal attention while continue to attend the group classes, which l love.
So if you are looking for an outstanding place to get fit, the opportunity to make new friends and support your community this is definitely the place!

I started with Colfax Strong just over five months ago and my transformation has been absolutely amazing... You know their program works when you are complimented consistently on the visual progress. Even with a pretty extensive Achilles injury they have adapted to what I can do. My personal trainer Mitch is phenomenal. I can’t thank him enough for his mentorship and coaching. I’ve been a Crossfitter for 10+ years (and CrossFit Level 1 credentialed coach) and a member at 3 different boxes (and visited many in state/out of state boxes) over those years and Colfax Strong it hands down the best box I’ve worked out at. EVERYONE is welcome. I get to work out next to my fiancé (who just joined) and do the very same workout! The coaches are well trained, knowledgeable, motivational and personable. You can tell they care! There is no want for equipment…they have it all. The COMMUNITY is INCREDIBLE! They help you set goals, monitor your progress, and coach you up to meet those goals. They take the time to make sure you’re individually comfortable with the programming instead of just throwing you into a group class. Colfax Strong is how a gym should do it!

Colfax Strong is the best gym I’ve been a part of. Excellent coaches who are invested in each member and the community is supportive and awesome. I was afraid to join a cross fit type of gym due to hearing from others how cross fit increases injury risk but I think Colfax Strong does a great job in preventing injuries by teaching you how to lift with proper form and supporting each member in scaling movements to be safe yet still effective. $200 a month for any gym is crazy. But for crossfit its just obscene. You can get 6 months for that price at Armbrust and that's a WAY better gym in every way. Hell, 24-Hour Fitness will sell you a whole year for $200 and you get sauna, basketball, pool, and on and on. And its crossfit, which has one of the highest injury rates of any physical training methodology out there, due largely to the fact that you're in a group setting and there is very little emphasis on or management of good form and technique. I wish them the best, apparently some people have more dollars than sense, but I think l'll stay at a real gym and pay less for more. Namaste.

I've been going to this gym for 9+ years so it's hard to describe in a review how awesome it is. It's way more than just a gym, it's like my second home. I've made so many friends here it's insane. Here are the highlights:
The community: Like I said, Colfax Strong is more than just a gym. From day one the members will welcome you and encourage you through tough workouts. You will make friends and members will notice if you miss classes. But it's not like a bro-y vibe. It's such a welcoming environment and very addicting.
The coaches: Very attentive and have a ton of experience. They're accommodating to every level of fitness so you feel comfortable while getting an awesome workout. They also genuinely care about your goals and progression. They're also super funny and friendly and not just little fitness robots.
The owners: Chad and Esther are incredible people and are very active in ensuring that everyone is having the best experience possible. Very far from passive gym owners - they get to know each of their members fitness and personal goals. They organize of ton of really fun events to keep the community going strong.
The space: Super cool old building in a fun neighborhood. Very clean and the equipment is well maintained. Lots of pull up bars, rack space for squats and such, and the ceiling is tall enough to do rope climbs if you're into that kind of thing like I am.
Anyway, check it out for yourself. You won't regret it.

I just finished a 9 month personal training program with coach Nick and am beyond satisfied with it.
When I found Colfax Strong, I had been looking for a personal training program that would assist with my overall workout form as well as adding variety to my workouts. I had not been seeking a crossfit gym and had limited knowledge about the crossfit program. Sean gave me an amazing introduction into what Colfax Strong is all about and I am so happy in my decision in joining the amazing and welcoming community that is the epitome of Colfax Strong.
Working three times a week with Coach Nick was an invigorating and exciting experience. Working with him gave me the overall motivation and actual excitement to go to the gym, which was one of the struggles I had before joining Colfax Strong
Coach Nick, is so personable and always made me feel comfortable in all the workouts we were doing. I had always been under the impression that Crossfit routines were very intense and not suited for the average lifter. Working with Coach Nick completely changed my impression on the fundamentals of Crossfit. My favorite part of the program was learning the importance of stretching before and after workouts, which left me never feeling abnormally sore and helped my body adjust to the new routines I was learning. The overall pace of the program was very relaxed and easily achievable.
Today, I just finished my first group Crossfit class following my introduction to personal training with Coach Nick and feel completely prepared for an easy transition. All of the other members were so welcoming and personable which is something I had never experienced at any other gym.
In closing, I fully recommend Colfax Strong to anyone who is tired of the same old standard routine at the gym and wanting to join an amazing community that gives them the motivation to workout to a new routine every day.

This gym is my first experience with CrossFit and considering I had no history of lifting, I was initially intimidated by joining. Once I began my one-on-ones, Mitch and Nick immediately made me feel comfortable. They are patient, thoughtful, and humble and even though I was bumbling through my lessons I never felt uncomfortable. The group classes are fun and engaging due to enthusiastic coaches like Kayla, and they are perfectly sized and never overwhelming.
If you have a desire to be introduced to CrossFit or lifting and are worried about your ability to learn the skills then this is the perfect gym. Great clean facilities, great sense of community, and a great team of coaches that never make you feel embarrassed or uncomfortable.

I joined this Crossfit gym a year ago and now I'm stronger than all of my friends. They stare in bewilderment as I open all of their pickle jars with minimal effort. I can lift a car with just my pinky. The coaches at this gym are always super engaging and helpful, and only slightly jealous that I can out lift them. The community here at Colfax Strong is very welcoming. Even when I was a new member and didn't know anyone, I always felt comfortable. I’ve been a member of 4 different CrossFit gyms over the past 9 years or so, and this one is the best. Coaching, programming, and equipment is all top notch, and the gym community is engaged and supportive. Chad and Esther as well as the entire coaching staff are very hands on and seem to genuinely enjoying working with members to achieve their fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle goals. The gym’s leadership is responsive to member feedback and consistently refines its approach to programming to include traditional power lifts, Olympic lifts, high skill and low skill gymnastics work and cardio and endurance training. What stands out to me is that in addition to standard classes and open gym, Colfax Strong encourages and coordinates members volunteering in the broader neighborhood community and raises funds for various causes through competitions and events at the gym and in partnership with other area gyms. Colfax Strong goes beyond providing a place to work out and is a small business that is an important asset to the community. Looking forward to many more years of training with them.

If you are looking to invest in yourself and do some Personal Training, I highly recommend Colfax Strong!! Bobby was my coach for the last 3 months, and I couldn't recommend him more. I came in very rusty, not having lifted in a long time and I had specific goals to be able to squat my own weight and strengthen certain areas where I'm weaker due to past injuries. Bobby met me where I was at every week, constantly checked in on how my body was feeling after each workout and made sure we progressed safely and steadily. He's easy to talk to, brings great energy, and most of all I felt like he was/is genuinely invested and excited about my growth. Fast forward to the end of our program and I can now squat MORE than my body weight, and I have hit big PRs for every movement I was working on. Couldn't have done it without my coach :) Looking forward to continuing my weight lifting journey with everything Bobby taught me!

My first day I could not finish the run. Actually, as mindful as Coach Nick is he checked in on me to see if I was hurt. (Just my pride) Humbling start to say the least. It is not just CrossFit. The workouts are one of the many ingredients provided by Colfax Strong to finding out who you are and where you want to go. It’s been a long, long time since I been around an environment where they meet you where you are at and ride the wave with you in where you want to go. From the staff which, in my opinion is first class (Alexis, Nick, Mitch, Bobby, Gabriel, Peter, Sean). To the badass community who love to suffer, laugh, smile, and support. It is not easy. Nothing in life is easy. I guess that is kind of the point. Lean in. It is worth it.
Chad and Esther have created a formula/staff to be a catalyst for all people especially those whom are willing. Pillars for you as an individual and community to set our ceiling as high as our imagination can go. A home to those whom are willing to make the choice to show up and love themselves.

I always thought CrossFit gyms were intimidating and the workouts were wildly tough. That was all in my head and joining ColfaxStrong has been a game changer. Colfax Strong was one of the first spaces I entered when I relocated to Denver two years ago - and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I had taken some time off from lifting after experiencing multiple back/hip injuries, and I wasn’t sure that I would ever be able to feel strong again. With the guidance and support from the coaches as well as the intentional programming of classes, in time I was able to recover my injuries and lift pain free. I feel more athletic and confident than ever before. Being new to CrossFit, I felt a bit nervous giving it a try, knowing that there are tons of exercises I'd be unfamiliar with and not knowing what the culture would be. I'm 2-3 weeks in now and I have felt welcomed every day since walking in the door! The workouts kick my butt in the best way, love the coaches, and feeling the community. This gym is amazing! During my visits I had three different coaches: Alexis, Nick, and Mitch. They were were all very welcoming and attentive to me even as a drop in guest. During the workouts they provided small little critiques to help improve my form and performance during each workout. The other members were also supportive, welcoming, and encouraging!! Starting my fitness journey at Colfax Strong was a pivotal moment for me. Having struggled with holding myself accountable when it came to working out, I knew I needed a change. That's why I opted for personal training. I've always been self-conscious about being too "slender" and wanted to put on muscle, but lacked the guidance and motivation to do so effectively.
With the help of Jordan, my personal trainer, and Esther, one of the gym's owners who is also in charge of nutrition, I started my “12 week body transformation”. Jordan's backing and motivation helped me tremendously. With his custom workouts, I began to see great progress. Esther's expertise in nutrition was also a huge part in my progression. She didn't just provide me with a customized meal plan; instead, she taught me how to fuel my body in a sustainable way. And answered any questions I had along the way.
With their guidance and the supportive atmosphere created by Chad and Esther, the gym's owners, I was able to not only achieve my goals but to surpass them. I was able to gain 15 pounds of lean muscle in just 12 weeks which seemed impossible for me at the start, but their support and dedication made it a reality. Chad and Esther are more than just gym owners—they are so invested in the success of each member. Their hands-on involvement and genuine care create a sense of community where everyone feels valued and encouraged. Thanks to Esther’s guidance, as well as Jordan’s, I not only met my fitness goals but also gained confidence in my abilities. And that’s all I truly wanted from the whole experience. Colfax Strong is a great gym and I’m so happy I joined. I started here because I wanted to start my fitness journey but didn’t know exactly how to start. From my first meeting with Sean I knew I was in good hands. I got a full rundown of what Colfax Strong had to offer in terms of programs and memberships. After the discussion, I decided that Personal Training was the best option for me.
I got paired up with Jordan who is an excellent trainer. Jordan is clear with the goals he sets for each session and builds challenging workouts each week. Jordan is very knowledgeable about weight training and good at tailoring the workouts to meet your desired goals.
He is also very attentive and will do various check-ins during the session to make sure I’m doing okay and that we’re good to continue on. He knows when to push you for that extra rep and knows when to stop so you don’t burn out. I’m glad I started working with Jordan, after 3 months I’ve made a ton of progress and enjoy the motivation and energy I get each workout. I’m looking forward to the continued gains training with Jordan.
The gym also has great vibes. There is a big sense of community and support. Good music and great team. 10 out of 10!

I joined Colfax Strong appx 4 months ago and it’s been a fantastic experience so far. I’ll admit, I was a bit reluctant to join a CrossFit gym initially. However, after a running related knee injury requiring surgery this past year, I finally acknowledged the importance of strength training. I’m so glad I decided to give Colfax Strong a try. They provided several 1:1 training sessions before I started the group classes, which gave me a lot of comfort given that it was all so new to me. Everyone is very welcoming and classes are scalable to your fitness level. Their set up also does a great job of holding you accountable (in a good way) and keeping you motivated to go to classes. All of the coaches/instructors are great, but I especially love Alexis! She exudes positive energy and really makes an effort to get to know everyone in the class. I 100% recommend this gym.

Can’t recommend this place enough! Where to start? Lots of classes, so there is always availability. All of the coaches are really knowledgeable and pay attention to each person’s form so that they can help you to adjust/scale accordingly. I've been a member at Colfax Strong for 6 months and it has been fantastic from the beginning! I know a lot of people talk about the community here — and I've only begun to scratch the surface of that — so I'm going to talk more about the staff who make Colfax what it is and instill such a strong culture in that community. I've been riddled with injuries since I joined (everything from a thrown-out back to now heading into surgery to fix up cartilage in my knee), and in the past that would have meant I just didn't show up to the gym, and would stay at home and nurse myself back to "health" on the couch. HOWEVER, my perspective has shifted so much since joining Colfax, because:
1. The coaches are super knowledgeable and encouraging, so I still go to class without half the cartilage in my knee, and ask them for mods all the time, which they are more than willing to give and in some cases it makes the workouts even more challenging (in a good way)!
2. I've been doing their nutrition program and figuring out how to use other levers to still make progress toward my overall fitness goals, even when I'm limited in the gym. (Thank you, Esther!)
3. Even when I just go to open gym, the vibes are so GOOD — from the music, to the friendly atmosphere (everybody is cheering everybody on), to how comfortable and not intimidating the space feels — I feel so motivated and so inspired to keep on going, doing whatever I am capable of that day, even if it's not much.

I joined Colfax Strong over three years ago at the height of the pandemic when I was feeling cooped up, burned out, and weak from losing my fitness routine. Colfax Strong was exactly what I needed at the time, and I just wish I had found this style of exercise and this gym sooner in my time in Denver. The owners and the coaches are an absolutely awesome team, and the community is welcoming and diverse. You get what you put in at this gym, whether it's on the exercise floor, in goals and nutrition planning, or in building relationships with other members. I've been an endurance athlete and a powerlifter in my past, but I've never been this combination of strong and fast. After reaching 100 days with Colfax Strong, I can truly say what a value the gym is. Prior to arriving at Colfax Strong, I was hitting a plateau in growth in what I could learn from exercise, and thought I would be coming in at a level to be on par with the average members athletic ability. It was a humbling experience to see how well everyone around me was doing. I have learned so much more about new movements and about proper technique. I'm starting to see a path towards movements I never thought I would accomplish. Where the hidden value is: the community. The best part of this gym are the coaches and the dogs! Nick, Rob, and Roman are super attentive and amazing teachers. They’re able to help adjust the exercise for your specific needs and they really encourage you to do the best you can.
As a huge animal lover, I really like that this gym lets people bring their dogs (as long as they stay out of the exercise area). Puppy pets always brighten my day and even help me make new friends.

Sean gave me the best training I've ever had! Not only did he teach me "how" to train myself, but also a lot of "what" and "why". Other trainers at other gyms have always been like "here do squats" or whatever. Sean made sure I was doing all exercises correctly, and understood the type of bio-feedback I should be looking for to either continue on, or correct.

Incredible and friendly space. Classes were popp'n with energy. I stepped in for open gym and felt right a home. Dropped in and had a great experience. Always nerve wracking when you don’t know where any equipment is and everyone was willing to help me out. Great coaching. My only feedback would be for coaches to group everyone up so you can actually hear what they’re saying, but the venue is otherwise really nice and surprisingly parking was easy to find. I will be back next time I’m in Denver and highly recommend this place!

I wish I joined Colfax Strong sooner! I have been here for almost 10 months now and the biggest things I have gained is confidence and a community. The members and the coaches here remind me each day why I move my body and that I GET to move my body. You can tell that the coaches care about providing a safe and comfortable environment for everyone at any fitness level. The members are welcoming, and I feel thankful that some of these people have become good friends of mine. Another highlight is that they provide 90-day goal reviews which is extremely helpful to sit down and chat with a coach about what's working and what's not based on your personal goals. It's just fun to be apart this community, to challenge myself mentally and physically, and to always count on a VERY clean gym :)

Colfax Strong is the absolute best - my partner and I moved from NYC and have had no issue making friends at this gym. Everyone, from staff to coaches to members, are so nice and welcoming. The facility is large with everything you would ever need to exercise with. There are always dogs hanging out, so if you love dogs that’s a major plus as well!

The best part is there are 3 levels of programing for every workout class depending on your fitness level AND available open gym during EVERY CLASS! Pretty rare in my experience, but incredible if you are training for strength cycles or don't feel like doing the WOD of the day.

I have been a member of this gym for almost 2 years now and I can proudly say that it has been one of the best choices I have made. I was never able to stay at a gym prior to finding Colfax Strong and the community here has completed changed the exercise experience for me. The coaches are dedicated to making sure that you learn correct techniques and excel in your progress. You have 90 day goal reviews with the coaches where they help track your progress on previous goals and set up new goals. The community is another huge reason to come to this gym with frequent activities to bring everyone together. This isn't just a gym, this is truly a community and a home for many people. I highly recommend coming in and trying a class because I don't think you'll be able to walk away once you experience the comradery, kindness, and constant support that Colfax Strong gives all of their members.

Joined February 2023 and it really has been an amazing experience. My goal when I joined was to build muscle and stay in shape, but I ended up getting so much more out of this gym. I got involved in a nutrition program through the gym. I lost 15 pounds of fat and gained 4 pounds of muscle just by learning more about what foods I needed to eat to reach my goals. I joined health and rehab seminars in the gym where I learned how to prevent injury and improve lifting form. I do deal with lingering injuries and I have benefitted a lot from these seminars. Out of all of these, I have benefitted most from the people at the gym. The people are very welcoming and will make you feel like a part of the gym right away. With events outside of the gym like happy hours, park hangouts, and pool activities, you get to know these people well and develop friendships instantly. Unlike some other athletes in CrossFit gyms, these athletes do not take themselves too seriously. Colfax Strong will have you in costumes while working out and then throw a BBQ or hangout afterwards. The vibe of this gym is amazing and is easily the best part of the gym.

Awesome gym with great coaches and a very supportive community. The coaches run a very tight ship at Colfax Strong, and everything they do is very thorough. Their biggest thing is safety, and even though the classes may be large, they watch everyone’s form very closely to prevent injury. They are also great listeners, so if you ever have any questions, they are always happy to help! I had an injury (not CrossFit related) and they worked with me to help modify my workouts! I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to join a CrossFit gym!

I just move to Denver from South FL and looked at a few workout locations. First and foremost I decided to join Colfax Strong-Strength & Conditioning because they took the time to get to know me and my workout goals. They also sold me on it being a place where members help each other out - almost a community environment - and it is. You get a lot of ancillary services included with your monthly membership - services other gyms would charge extra. Lastly, the facility is great. No shortage of equipment and plenty of space for workouts.

I signed up at Colfax Strong 6 months ago, and it’s the first CrossFit gym that I've joined. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to create a sense of community within the gym. The coaches are all very knowledgeable, and encouraging. They do a great job helping you modify and scale workouts and/or individual exercises. The workouts are demanding, but they make the experience fun and rewarding. I’d recommend this place to anyone whether they are new to CrossFit or not.

I found Colfax Strong because I needed a community minded gym that would help me get my body back in shape and fit around my work schedule. The facility is a large open space with a range of equipment and weights. It is clean and kept in good condition. The environment is active! Ages range from 20s, many 30s, but also 40s on up. One of the owners, Chad, talked me through the onboarding process. He listened carefully, explained what is offered, that included multiple daily group training classes, a weekly yoga class, a body assessment, and nutritional coaching. If I wish, there is open gym time, personal training, and the barbell club. He helped me set my first quarter goals. I appreciate that it is progress orientated. I took a free class before signing up, to make sure it was a good match and have started with 3 days a week for a while before graduating to the unlimited plan. Coaches are knowledgeable, friendly, and encouraging. I am new to CrossFit and definitely nervous before classes. (Still working on becoming friends with box jumps.) However, each class starts with talking over major movements and warmups incorporate components to help you practice. Coaches move around throughout and when needed/wanted, offer individuals pointers, help teach form, or offer modifications. (You can track your progress after each class with an app.) The yoga class is great to help stretch out sore muscles and joints. I appreciate that the culture is geared toward those who are willing to work hard. People are friendly and welcoming. The feeling of community is evident. Owners take pride in maintaining their space, creating effective programs, and taking care of people. You will be challenged, no matter your level of experience or strength, but each individual is responsible to challenge themselves and keep improving. I am learning, modifying as I need to, but with consistency, I will get stronger, leaner, improved mobility, and gain back confidence. You will sweat, struggle, pant, and even laugh - in a positive and supportive environment! I am grateful and recommend others join in!

From the moment I inquired about membership, the coaches at Colfax Strong reached out immediately and have made my onboarding process absolutely seamless, smooth, and fun. I was in Denver recently for my college friends wedding and wanted to stay on my routine (especially being a little more indulgent with the festivities)! I came across Colfax from a simple Google search for "Strength Training / CrossFit Gyms in Denver" and boy was I not disappointed. I did drop in sessions for my long and weekend - took a class with Coach Roman and did open gym for the remainder of my time.
Coach Roman and the team were knowledgeable, focused on good form, and welcoming. The facility was a dream - they had a great variety and quantity of equipment from rowers and ski ergs to barbells, plates, kettlebells, med balls...truly if you name, they had it. The gym was spacious and clean - each station had a basket with towels and sanitizer spray bottles to clean up your equipment as well as a white board and marker to record your weights and times.
I look forward to my next trip to Denver and to make a pit stop at Colfax. Thank you guys!

I joined this gym about a year ago and it has been such a great addition to my life. Each class is different and they do a great job of cycling through different strength intervals. First the owners and the coaches are amazing... There is so much encouragement and positive reinforcement for everyone. As you can imagine everybody is at a different level but for myself I am just getting back to working out after Covid, not to mention I am probably a little more "mature" than many of the other members...lol. 😂 The gym facilities are spacious and unlike many other places around town, this is a serious, no-nonsense workout place. The classes start on time and end on time because people are always waiting for the next class. But make no mistake... Everybody is so friendly and it is a fun place to belong...with outstanding results!!👍

Anyway, I am glad I finally joined.. The coaches are friendly, informative, and focus on improving an athlete’s form and technique, which I appreciate since I’m a novice. I am not a cross-fit person, but I did personal training with Nick for several months and I can't recommend him or this gym more. Nick was an amazing trainer, and he was extremely careful and considerate with my injuries. He was always observant and positive and helped me a lot! If you are considering PT, I can't recommend Nick any higher. Best PT I've worked with, easily.
The rest of the gym seemed to have a wonderful culture as well! Chad and Esther are nice and good people, and I highly recommend joining and supporting this gym.

This is an AWESOME place!! I joined Colfax Strong in February 2021 after almost a year away from CrossFit. I really enjoyed my 5 months there. The coaches (Chad, Esther, Jared, Sandra, and Ryan) were great, very knowledgeable. The classes are really well run. A fantastic community. I got so many great workouts in! The gym itself is a neat building, right off of Colfax Ave. The only reason I left is we moved. :/ Can’t say enough about the community, coaches, and environment! I’m a huge fan of this gym — I recently decided to sign up here after trying out a few CrossFit gyms in the area, and my appreciation has only grown over the past few weeks. A few specifics on what makes this gym so special:
1) Tight/ smooth operations (that starts with responsiveness over email/ text)
2) Beautiful facility and brand new equipment
3) Coaching — warm and welcoming (eg, everyone knew my name within a week), with lots of individual feedback

Best gym, workout, fitness, experience ever.
I was just looking for gyms around the area and decided to take Colfax Strong's free class. I was sold in the first session. Everyone is having a blast in the gym all the time. You don't have to worry about planning a workout, all you have to do is walk in and join a class. This is the biggest plus for me, I never could stick to a workout plan on my own, plus I am no expert so building out a workout plan was always more guess work then anything else.
Coaches are amazing, super easy to talk to, very knowledgeable, and they are always there to help you improve your form and movements.
TLDR: 5 Stars, give the free class a try, you too will be writing a 5 star review a few months later.
