My two girls have been dancing here for the last six years. The new director (Sandra) is amazing and has brought so much focus and positive culture to the studio. The training is well rounded, instructors are top notch and kind. Classes are small and my girls get a lot out of them.

The new lead at CCD( Sandra Parks since 2023) is phenomenal and progressive. My three daughters have been dancing here for several years and the last two years with Sandra have been incredible. The school focuses on performances and stage presence and not on competitive dance which is what my kids were looking for. Some of these productions are as top caliber as collegiate shows I saw at University of PA. There is a lot of love, laughter, nuttiness and grit amongst these families who do help keep this non-profit afloat. The faculty are invested, creative, and committed to these young kids and Iβm so lucky to have found this place in the middle of the pandemic.

We went to see the Nutcracker in 2021. It went with my Autistic son. What we saw was great! So appreciate the opportunity for sensory kiddos to see it. Going this year again. Thank you

I would have gave this studio more stars but when my daughter did dance there they bullied her. She was not the thinnest girl and not white. But the kids bullied her. The teachers bullied her. Ms. Julia constantly told us our daughter was to fat and needed to go on a diet. They held her back from pointe yet there were girls thicker than my daughter. There was another dark skinned little girl who was picked on because she is Hispanic her grandmother pulled her because all if the bulling her granddaughter dealt with. It's just sickening up there. Ask your kids make sure they are not being bullied. As parents make sure they are not telling you negative things about your kids because that is also bulling.

The teachers are patient and experienced.
I live 45 mins away but still drive a long way for taking classes here.

My daughter has been dancing at Colorado Conservatory of Dance for 12 years. The dance instruction is excellent. The ballet training is really top notch and there are a wide variety of other dance classes to choose from. She has also learned about her body (I am amazed by all the bones she can name!) and how to safely move her body. As a parent, I am so thankful that we found a dance studio that truly cares about the dancers as individuals and cares about their well being.

My children danced at CCD for a year. I would recommend spending your hard-earned money at another other dance studio.
After a year, we unenrolled our children because I did not feel that they respected our boundaries (often keeping my 7 year old 30-45 minutes past her allotted rehearsal time which was after 9pm on a school night) and required so much time, money and work for parents that was unreasonable for an extra-curricular activity for children.
Here are a few βgotchasβ from my experience:
* They have a number of volunteer hour requirements on top of tuition and other mandatory meetings and you can expect to dedicate a lot of time and resources outside of performances and class times. (I did not receive one thank you for donating money or volunteering - yikes!)
* The staff and other βtenuredβ parents speak to newbies like they are not as valuable as they are.
* They have a a hierarchy where there are level 1 and level 2 parents and refuse access to your own child if you arenβt a level 2 parent - which are not background checked parents - just parents that have had dancers at the studio for a number of years. (Huge red flag!)
* Their written communication is disrespectful and disorganized, Iβve never been spoken to like this and wonβt spend my money at a studio that treats parents poorly.
* When I requested to un-enroll, the studio requested I create a list of reasons that I was leaving. Once again they were requesting that I do additional work for them.
Overall I had a very poor experience and ultimately my children are very glad to be at another studio and so am I.

A performance based dance academy where all of the styles are based on traditional ballet. We have had 2 girls and a boy dancing there. All 3 have enjoyed it immensely and made some good friends there. The nutcracker they put on is really a top notch performance.

My daughter has been dancing at Colorado Conservatory of Dance for the past nine years. I cannot say enough good things about this studio. They have wonderful teachers who teach her the techniques of classical ballet and the art of the dance. Not only do they teach their students how to be a good dancer, they also teach them how to be good citizens. The dancers there have opportunities to experience the professional side of the dance and have outstanding choreographers, teachers and coaches. In my opinion CCD is the finest ballet studio available in this area!

Wonderful school and program at CCD! The teachers and staff here have created such an amazing environment for the kids to learn and grow. The focus on not only dance but wellness and character have created such a great foundation for our kids that goes far beyond the dance studio.

Superior staff and instruction. I could not be more pleased with the positive and supportive culture without watering down real ballet instruction for my daughters. Reasonably priced for the caliber as well. I highly recommend.

Excellent dance studio for all ages! The full schedule of adult classes keeps dancers of every level challenged and engaged, while getting in a full-body workout. The teachers are incredibly supportive of learning ballet in all walks of life, and the studio has built up a wonderful community of adult dancers.

My daughter has been attending Colorado Conservatory of Dance for 6 years. We couldn't be more pleased with the school. The Director of the school is able to balance technique with a genuine concern for dancer health. We're very comfortable with the environment and we love the instructors.

My daughter has been dancing at CCD for the past 9 years. There is such a feeling of family and community and I am happy with how well she is cared for. Not just as a dancer but her entire well being. They teach to respect not only their teachers, but each other and mostly themselves. The kids here really make you feel good about yourself as well.
The quality of dance is superb and their performances are at a professional level. If you are looking for a true dance school, I cannot say enough about them.
