I love CGI so much, it has become my second home. I was at another gym prior to CGI coaching and did not have the best experience and when I came in to CGI was a little hesitant but honestly, I’m so happy to even be a part of such an amazing staff and Gym. The CGI family is truly a family and the community that comes together to celebrate the girls, the coaches, host meets, and etc. I am so thankful to be a part of CGI and so thankful to be learning from the best compulsory coach I feel I’ve ever met, her name is Annastasia. I also want to shoutout the owner Steph. Her patience, love, support and grace is everything. If you’re looking for a fun and successful program, CGI is the gym for you and your family

Cgi is a great place for gymnastics but my daughter and her cousin could not be in the same class together because they were worried that they would keep talking but really they just chatted a little bit and my daughter had been in beginner for so long with the little kids and it had been so embarrassing for her to be the only tall kid there. But overall Cgi is a really good gymnastics I do recommend!

We put our granddaughter in the beginner program thinking that it would just be kind of an overview of some tumbling and gymnastics because she was interested in gymnastics, but they put her on the high beam right away, which is scary for someone inexperienced in gymnastics and then in other exercises, they just show them what to do and let them have at it. I thought they would have a spotter or try to spot them in some of the exercises. And then they played Duck Duck Goose to round out the day instead of maybe doing cartwheels or somersaults or something. And the girls that were "trainers" looked like they really didn't want to be there. So there was no excitement, no encouragement at all. So, just a suggestion, you may want to have girls that are excited about gymnastics be the trainers in the beginner program. It would have been nice for her to at least learn a cartwheel.. A little disappointed in the beginner program for not making it a little more exciting for the kids and the lack of encouragement..

Class sizes are too big and high school kids are the "teachers". They would change floor routine on day of competition. After 5 years and thousands of dollars our daughter should be further along. For what you pay, there are better options out there.

Here I am Just moved to the area. Looking to enroll my daughter for gymnastics. I was super excited as looking at the website they look like they have great facility. I called, a lady answer, There was kid right beside her talking to mommy ( which I don't mind, I have a kid of my own) I asked then if they have a trial class to see if she would like it.( Lady answered "NO!") I was waiting for a suggestion or reccomendations. So I'm like Ok can I enroll 1 day and go from there? ( NO we don't have that trial class. She can come and watch) Can she participate to see if she likes it? ( Lady : NO)

*It would be nice if calls are handled proffesionally ( That first impression is important)

*also you have to enroll and PAY for 7 weeks for 1 day/week class. THERE IS NO TRIAL CLASS OR INTRODUCTORY CLASS.

* I'm still going to go and check out the place and see if we like it. 1 call does not disqualify this business. :-)

We have been coming to CGI for nearly 2 years, my girls are so loved here. The coaches are sweet, the front desk moms are the best. They have snacks and drinks for purchase, as well as Leotards and other CGI Merch.

They take all levels of gymnastics, preschool to big kids, it doesn’t matter if your kiddo has ever participated in gymnastics. They work hard to get you in a spot that’s best for the kiddo. Entry level.

The sessions are about 7 weeks and prorated when a holiday or a closure happens, they are always scheduled and never a surprise.

They do have a 30 day written class cancelation fee, which is very reasonable. This policy is outlined on the portal as well as posted through out the gym. They do have an option of one makeup class per sessions that need to be scheduled with the great front desk staff.

They do mock competitions for kids that aren’t on a team competing and they are so fun.

We’ve had one problem (not with the staff) and it was handled quickly and professionally.

We’ve celebrated two birthdays here. They kids love coming to birthdays here!

CGI is a wonderful gym and has so many options for your child to learn and grow in the sport of gymnastics. The coaches are caring, motivating, and consistent. They are sneaky in regards to cancelling. I called a few months ago to cancel and was told "just don't pay for the new session". So I figured that was it. Turns out I kept getting billed, I called and was told that I needed to send an email to cancel and that it was in the terms and conditions. Attached is a picture of their terms and conditions, its there, but they make it very hard to read.

They have a whole account management system to do everything for your account, except cancel.

I had no issues with the place while we attended, but this just left a bad taste in my mouth. The response felt like this was something they deal with all the time and that it's not their problem.

My daughter had the best experience at CGI as a competitive gymnast. She had been at a previous gym that she performed well at. However the environment was so toxic we had to leave. Stephanie brought us in with open arms. My daughter regained her confidence. She had the best coaches and teammates. Gymnastics is a tough and demanding sport. It’s hard mentally, emotionally and physically. My daughter handled all of those things so much better at CGI because of how they run things and how they care. My daughter decided to retire from gymnastics. It was the right decision for her. However, she misses everyone so much and still keeps in touch. Thank you Stephanie and CGI staff for sending my daughter off in good condition and ready to take on her next adventures. We love you so much!

My daughter joined the CGI team in 2018. The Sodden Family are amazing and supportive of every gymnast. Unfortunately we were forced to make a cross country move but thanks the great coaching our daughter received at CGI she was easily able to join a team in NC and next year will be a part of an NCCA D2 Acrobatics and Tumbling team with athletic scholarship..

We have been coming on and off for a the past 2 years. I had to ask to move my child up to intermediate because she was in beginners for a year! The girls teaching the class are former gym students and they don’t really pay attention to the kids if they are doing any of the activities wrong. I’ve seen it multiple times.
The prices go up every year and geez, I paid $50 a class. Get ready to spend $200 a month for one class a week.
Also, the owner and staff are unprofessional. ESPECIALLY the little volunteer moms.
Don’t look or say anything to them, they act like they own the place and will be right in your face! I had a little disagreement with the “volunteer mom”, she was in my face, yelling cuss words in front of little kids.
They allowed it!
I’m glad we left. Other parents feel the same way!!!

Edited to reply to the comment.
Yes the gymnastics on chambers and alameda next to 24 hour fitness in Aurora . Good try!
The moms that have kids in gymnastic classes but also work the front counter. Stop acting like you don’t know what I’m saying.
The classes/sessions are $50ish.
Still, super expensive!

This gym has been amazing. They have one of the top programs for D.P gymnastics. Colorado Gymnastics Institute started off in a very small gym and has grown ever since. They are now in one of the biggest gyms in Colorado. All of their equipment is very nice and they have plenty of stations for all the girls to work on.
All Coaches are very organized amd friendly. They do really well with keeping the children busy.
They also host great birthday parties!! My daughter did hers there this past year and she had a blast and almost all of her friends left crying because they did not want to leave.

Was not impressed with the classes offered here and extremely disappointed with front desk staff and the owner. Signed my 7 year old daughter up for what I thought was one session to try out since this was our first time with gymnastics. On our last class today, before practice the front desk woman asked for payment for the next session which is when I realized that my daughter is automatically enrolled into continuous sessions and I am now responsible for the next months worth of sessions. The front desk woman proceeded to show me the vague sign that read 30 Day Written Notice to Withdraw from class and their email. Ok so after some slight back and forth about how it’s not clear about the continuous sessions and the constant referring back to the “three policies you signed on the portal” “you signed them” on blah blah date and blah blah time. Ok thanks. Go to seat down to watch my daughter practice and formulate a written email to the provided email to withdraw daughter from any further classes and to not be charged for any more sessions. I added my reasoning as to why I’m withdrawing my daughter - not impressed with facility nor their billing practices. The front desk lady comes up to me (probably 10 minutes after I sent the required withdraw email) with her personal cell phone saying I have the owner on the phone she wants to talk to you. Now back to why I really felt compelled to write a review…The owner starts out with she has withdrawn my daughter from any future classes and if I had just had a private conversation with her about this we could have handled this and then proceeded with some nonsense about how I was not nice to her staff. THEN she stated she has refunded me for this last session that my daughter is currently in progress and told me to take my daughter and leave immediately. Following her instruction, I took my daughter and we left. My daughter obviously not knowing what was going on was confused as to why she had to abruptly leave and couldn’t finish her last class and started to cry. My daughter crying because this owner’s pride was so hurt that we didn’t want to continue sessions here - absolutely outrageous. The owner then sends me this passive aggressive and belittling email eluding to me not knowing how to read (referencing those awesome 3 policies) and more made up nonsense about my inappropriate behavior in front of children?? There had to been more than a dozen witnesses that could attest to that libelous accusation, Stephanie.
On our way out I mentioned to the front desk woman that I’ll be leaving a review and the owner with her hurt pride and what looks like past discriminatory behavior reading other reviews, she had to also mention in her hateful email that she will be looking out for my review and will be responding. By all means ma’am type away…..

My daughter broke her arm and I called to the studio and let who ever answered the phone know that my daughter broke her arm and that it did not happen at the studio the lady stated that she was sorry to hear that and that they would credit any money paid to my account for session's. At least 3 week's passed and my child did not attend class but my other daughter continued classes but I somehow still had a bill appear for my student who has the broken arm. I call to the studio to speak with the OWNER and figure this out I give her my daughter's names and she begins to say who did I speak to because this is not typically their procedure and that she doesn't even see note of this conversation had with the employee and that since I am so defensive that she really does not feel inclined to lift procedures and then beings to give me a 33 year old mother of 4 how to speak with "etiquette " as if she was schooling me and then when I asked her how she believes I should address her she continues to be rude and basically kicks my children to the curb saying I am not here to teach you how to talk (you bet your not my mother ma'am teach your own kiddos) and if you don't like our customer service here that you can go somewhere else and then proceeded to say that they still held my daughter's spot after not even knowing that her arm was broken because she stated that there were no notes of the conversation had so she basically contradicted herself by saying they saved her spot but that's not your policy so apparently someone knew about the broken arm after paying nearly $400.00 since April you would think a practice would be 1st more diligent when note taking and communication not contradict themselves take the parents time and money into consideration and teach the coaches who are teenagers to be respectful of other children's sizes and to not make harsh jokes about flipping the children over the bar's whom may be heavyweight. I absolutely will not put my money into a establishment like this definitely not geared towards minority and will kindly take my talents elsewhere.

Not even sure where to start...that's how much I love CGI. We had issues with our previous gym and when we started "shopping" for a new gym, CGI immediately topped the list. I left a message with questions for someone on staff and almost immediately got a call back. After a 20 minute conversation about the gym, what they stand for, coaches, etc...I found out that I was talking to the owner of the gym! Stephanie Sodden not only went out of her way to call me right away, but she took the time to really answer my questions and I could tell that she really cared about all of her gymnasts and coaches. Fast forward four years and my daughter is thriving at CGI. It's where she's met some of her best friends and the coaches are amazing! They run a tight ship and demand respect, but are also caring and take these young gymnasts under their wings...it's the perfect combination for my daughter and all young ladies. Fast forward to yesterday when we found out that my daughter may have to get surgery on her elbow. For a hard-core gymnast (and gymnastics mom) we were a little devastated. I emailed the gym to let them know that she may be out for the rest of the season. Stephanie immediately called me and made me feel so much better about the situation and made my daughter grin from ear-to-ear when she said she's putting her to work at the gym while she heals. She also sent me articles and pictures to ease my concern. CGI is our second home and everyone under that roof has quickly become family. I cannot recommend it enough!!

Large gym, lots of kids of all ages. I'd say for the most part the coaches seem interested and engaged in helping the kids advance their skills, a few that are seriously amazing, taking time to teach form which is so key in getting these skills right! (There are some that do appear uninterested). Communication has been a bit spotty/inconsistent over the past few months. Otherwise, I'd say it's a great gym :)

Hands-down CGI is a great gym. The owner is responsive and professional. The coaches are amazing and provide quality training from day one. The environment is welcoming and safe. The equipment is setup to allow a gymnastics to build their skills with confidence. Before joining this gym I read all the reviews I could find online. Yes, many of them are very old posts, but many of them are a misrepresentation and I would strongly recommend that anyone interested in quality training, or even a great recreational experience for their kids checks the gym out.

At first we loved the gym, and my daughter was moving up great. The communication is awful the only time anyone communicates with you is when they want their money. We asked a question of how our daughter can move up to the next level and they didn't even know that she would be 7 this year abs she's in a class that's for 4-5 year olds. She's been in her class for over a year. And when I spoke to the coach, which most of their coaches are students that go there, she told my daughter she can start a different class next week but it wasn't the class she wanted to go to. So when I asked what she needs to do to get to the class she wants to go to she told my daughter not me the parent that she could stay in the class she was in. If she's crying cause she wants to go to a certain class and I the parent am asking you what she needs to do I expect you to answer me not just talk to my child. I asked the question to the coach over and over again and still got no answer. So I asked someone else and they looked at my child and assumed that the clad she wanted to go into would be to much work for her. And it felt as if they were being prejudice towards her. I referred so many people to this gym and it was good at first, but since we dropped to one day a week because of work schedules for me and my husband it's as if they are saying she's not good enough because you only have her in 1 day a week and she's not what we think a gymnast in this class should look like. Do we found a different gym to go to that will talk to us and answer our questions.

We love CGI. My daughter has been going for five years. Sometimes the communication is a little spotty, but the coaches are great and the gym loves its gymnasts.

At first we loved CGI, and I do think the coaches are great. However, I'm not impressed with the facility at all. My daughter is in the toddler class (up to age 3), and they recently moved the little ones into their new location. The new location is tiny, not well equipped, dirty and dark. By moving there, the little ones lost the use of trampolines, running space, ropes, ladders, and the foam pit. It just isn't as fun and we're looking for a new gymnastics location because my daughter loves gymnastics. I also thought that the 3-5 y/o group coach is a little harsh. A 3 year old cannot do that a 5 year old can do, and I don't think it's right to make a child do push-ups for simply being a child. The ages should be separated better than that.
I wanted to update - I requested a refund for the $88 I pre-paid for the next session (BEFORE the location changed), and I was told no refund would be issued. I reported them to the BBB. This company does not operate with honesty or integrity.
