Kyleβs facility is nothing short of amazing. It has EVERYTHING (coming from Olympic lifting), and nothing beats training and doing cold plunge/hot tub and sauna after. I always drop in here when I am in Denver!! 20/10 facility.

Seriously cool facility with state-of-the-art recovery equipment. You'll never have to wait to hop in the sauna here like at other places. This spot is CLEAN and very welcoming. The parking lot is a huge perk too. Makes it super convenient. 10/10!

I had the incredible opportunity to conduct a weightlifting seminar at the Colorado Weightlifting Club, and I must say, it was an experience I will never forget. The passion and dedication displayed by everyone involved, from the organizers to the attendees, was truly inspiring.
To all the attendees, you were the heart and soul of this seminar. Your eagerness to learn and improve your weightlifting techniques was evident from the moment we began. It was a pleasure to work with such a motivated and talented group of individuals.
In conclusion, the weightlifting seminar at the Colorado Weightlifting Club was an absolute success. I am honored to have been a part of it and to have had the chance to work with such dedicated individuals. Thank you, Kyle, for making this happen, and a special thanks to all the attendees for your passion and commitment. Keep pushing your limits, and I look forward to seeing your continued growth in the sport of weightlifting.

The coaching and atmosphere is unbelievably good and welcoming.
I came in about 6 months ago as a complete beginner to Olympic weightlifting and the coach has been incredibly patient and supportive. There is a strong emphasis on form and all the members are always happy to help. Iβve become stronger faster than I ever have before, and quickly felt integrated into the clubβs community. I highly recommend you give this club a try!

My son Teodor Davidov is one of the best tennis players in the country for his age group. He has trained olympic weightlifting at Colorado weightlifting club for one and a half years. It has become a major part of his fitness training and made him very explosive.Recently he had the opportunity to train with the Bulgarian national team which is currently one of the best in the world.Everyone including the olympic champion and head coach Ivan Ivanov liked his form. All the credit goes to the coaches at Colorado weightlifting club!

Everyone here including the coaches and lifters were very welcoming and always kind to my boyfriend and I.
We wanted to try something new and we learned alot from everyone here. Very much humbled and appreciative of the coach working with us through everything and for sure reccomend anyone that would be interested in a lifting club.*:)

The head coach/owner is very pushy and rude. You can easily tell he is not a very good coach if you have some experiences about weighting. And he is super pushy. I was almost forced to sign a one year contract during my second visit. If you don't have strong will, please don't go.
First of all, the coach didn't offer several options at all and even told me I wouldn't have anything else to do due to my visa status. Secondly, I told the coach I have back injuries and he still made me do back extension and wanted to correct my form which I couldn't even perform the exercise.

An absolutely amazing gym with kind and knowledgeable staff. They will teach you what you need to know, even if you're a complete newbie.

I started with Coach Nico & Colorado Weightlifting Club (CWC) May of 2017. Before coming here I always felt plateaued with my lifts and was not enjoying lifting anymore. I also was getting tired of the chain gyms and it being so packed that I could not get a work out done at a decent time. I knew it was time for a change and CWC has been the perfect fit. My PR's increased and I was hitting weights I never thought I could. I did not have prior experience with Olympic Lifting and now I am in love with it. I competed in my first competition less than a year in and went 6 for 6. There is tremendous support at the gym and everyone from all levels feel welcomed. There is more of a 'gym family' type culture and we often hang out together outside of the gym too! I have never felt more comfortable and accomplished than I do at CWC. I highly recommend them to anyone considering joining. All levels and experiences are welcomed and Coach Nico will do whatever it takes to help you reach your goals.

I've been lifting for a little while and wanted to get better specifically at weightlifting and decided to check CWC out. Coach Nico and everyone else I've met here are so welcoming and friendly and ease any kind of anxiety you might get from going somewhere new. Anyway, Coach Nico has an amazing coaches' eye and is super helpful! This place is definitely a gem.

Dropped in couple of days when I was in Denver.
Coach Nico was really friendly and it seemed he had very good relationship with all his athletes. He kept track of all of his athletes while training and gave feedback to each and every one of them.
The facility itself is very clean and well maintained. I enjoyed playing with the bar here and will definitely drop in whenever I will be in Denver.

I love lifting and finding a gym and coach that are a good fit is really important to me, especially because I spend 8-10 hours a week at the gym. Lucky for me Colorado Weightlifting Club and Coach Nico Rithner are a perfect fit for my goals and my personality. Everyone is really friendly and welcoming (coaches and athletes). It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or an advanced lifter, male or female, young or old - you will find a comfortable home here.
While the comfortable atmosphere is great, let's face it, the real reason you work out is to see results and my progress here in a very short period of time has been amazing. I lifted for a year at another gym in another state and after a year my progress stalled out. I was lifting the same weight, the same reps, the same way and was getting bored and frustrated (and I was working with a qualified, experienced USAW coach). After only 4 months at CWC I have seen so many PRs and, even more exciting, a huge change in my strength, body shape and overall fitness (muscle to fat ratio finally going in the right direction!).
And to what do I attribute this change to? The coach, simple as that. Nico is an amazing coach who has the unique ability to BOTH program effectively and train technique. He can quickly identify your weaknesses and program your training to target those areas. The way he trains the highly technical Olympic lifts is mind-blowing. They were a COMPLETE mystery to me before, but now with Nico's meticulous drilling of the O lifts I actually understand them and in a much deeper way than I ever did before. The combination of excellent coaching and programming has made me a much stronger, more confident lifter in only 4 months (compared to 1 year elsewhere).
The cost is WELL worth it. Nico is passionate about lifting and his athletes and really takes the time and care necessary to help you achieve your goals. If you're serious about lifting, getting stronger and improving technique, look no further.

This is a great gym for any type of lifting you might want to do. I like olympic style lifting and they have outstanding platforms for guests to use. The barbells are in excellent shape as are the bumper plates. Chalk...squat racks...and boxes to practice your your transitions and second pull....it's all there. The coach is extremely helpful too. I don't do much with kettle bells but they even have those. Good, no nonsense gym!

Best decision I've made to improve my lifting. Three months in and I'm moving the bar and myself more efficiently and consistently.. Tons of knowledge and personalization for a reasonable cost.

Colorado Weightlifting Club is the best place in Denver for the Olympic Lifts.
If you want to learn to snatch, clean and jerk, like you see in the Olympics or at the CrossFit games, this is the place.
Nico is a great coach and knows how to create strong and skilled lifters
