I came across Core Progression just a few weeks postpartum, and I’m so glad I did. Seth was wonderful to work with early on and set me up with a trial session with Mary, which immediately made me feel comfortable committing to my first workout.

Mary has been absolutely amazing. When I started, I was about three months postpartum, recovering from a C-section, sciatica and also recovering from a year long back injury. She has been instrumental in helping me rebuild my strength from square one. What I appreciate most is how in tune she is with my body’s needs and how mindful she is of my past injury.

I’m incredibly grateful to have found Core Progressions and for the support I’ve received in my postpartum journey. Mary and the team have truly made a difference in my recovery, and I couldn’t recommend them more.

I initially committed to 1 month with them, and here I am going into my 5th month. For me, it was never about losing weight, it was more about re-buliding strength. And I have done both!

I really enjoy Core Progression on Broadway. Mary is a great trainer with an awesome personality and takes right approach for all fitness levels. I came in in decent shape but was struggling with motivation and proper form to avoid injury. Since training here, I feel the closest to how I did back in college as an athlete—stronger, more confident, and more consistent. Mary takes the time to focus on technique and ensures every workout is effective safe and fun. The whole team is fantastic and creates a real sense of community that goes beyond just you and your trainer. I had a family workout here and we got excellent service, and possibly the best trainer I've ever worked with, Kate Lake! We were definitely feeling it the next couple of days, which was exactly what we asked for. She was very knowledgeable and adaptable to our strengths and weaknesses. Core Progression Fitness has been great. I was hesitant to join a gym, let alone get a personal trainer. The staff at CPF made everything very easy and are non-judgmental. My trainer, Joe, is a fantastic source of support and accountability. I have only completed six sessions; however, I am already seeing results in my endurance and mobility. I highly recommend this facility. The facility is by appointment only, so there are few people present at a given time. This is a huge bonus if you are an introvert like me. I just finished personal training at Core Progression after about 8 months and I’ve never felt stronger. Anna-Grace is a wonderful person and trainer - she was really easy to work with and always kept in mind how my body was feeling and responding to certain movements. If something was extra sore or uncomfortable, she would adapt the workouts to make sure the movements were safe yet still challenging. She puts a lot of care and effort into her programming and always pushed me to do my best. I’ve learned so much from working with her and always looked forward to my sessions.

The space itself is clean and the equipment is in great shape. It was never crowded and overall just a really great spot for a good workout. I would highly recommend Core Progression and hope to be back in the future

I'm in my late 30's, and had some big health events in the last couple of years. Honestly hadn't done much structured exercise - especially resistance training - in the last ten years or so.

For the last two months, I've been doing two sessions a week. These have been the most intense workouts I've ever had, and have already yielded some body recomp/muscle building that I never thought I could achieve.

I really wanted to like this place/form of training, unfortunately I didn’t have a great experience and do not recommend this for the average middle class person. My classes added a ton of stress to an already stressful schedule for me.
12 weeks appears to be the “shortest” length of contract, even if you are not vibing with your trainer or have life changing events. I let the managers know this about halfway through, they did nothing - despite touting that it’s “important to them everyone has the right fit”. I kept telling myself I would just finish out the 12 weeks and get out. The added stress and lack of connection became more frustrating each week when you pay so much money. These classes added 3 hours to an already 10 hour long day, which really wears a person down.

My trainer (Kate Lake) was new the business and needed clients. She was knowledgeable about exercises, but could barely remember my name. After working together for 10 weeks, she didn’t know what I did for work, my schedule, or that I had a dog. I knew all about her adventures, date nights, and home buying forays. I would remind her several times if there was a change in my schedule, she would still forget & I’d get a text the night before “see you tomorrow”. I’d remind her again about any changes. More stress & responsibility fell on me, even though I was paying for a service to help me reach goals & reduce stress in theory by making everything easy for me (the customer).

I understand not remembering every detail about my patients - but I try to remember enough to build rapport. I would argue that in these types of service roles - connection is just as important.
I enjoyed my occasional sessions with Chase. That guy remembered more about me after 2 classes than Kate could in 10 weeks.
It was extremely difficult to leave the gym. I talked to multiple managers, turned in my 30 day notice, yet continued to get charged for weeks after I had terminated my contract and sessions. I could’ve got the same results consistently doing a more affordable group fitness class and likely built better relationships there as well. Do NOT recommend. Please don’t waste your money. I wish I had just signed up for orange theory or the climbing gym.

I can’t recommend this gym enough. The entire team is great. I’ve been working with Alexa for almost a year now and I’ve seen such great results. She’s helped me develop a solid fitness routine geared towards my lifestyle, body, and goals loaded with tons of great tips to develop an effective workout regiment both inside this gym and outside of it when I work out solo.

Some gyms can be intimidating, especially when working with a trainer. But all the trainers here do such a great job of building a positive community where anyone can come and develop fitness habits and personal growth.

I was rear-ended in a MVA 2.5 years ago and have struggled with pain and an inability to comfortably exercise since. Prior to finding Core Progression, I was a little nervous heading back into the gym after my injury. Austin, the office manager and one of the personal trainers, made getting signed up and on the floor a breeze. He took the time to explain my options, costs, and reassured me I was in good hands with trainer Alexa. After a thorough assessment and consultation, Alexa formulated a fitness plan tailored to my specific goals and limitations. Since beginning my fitness journey with her over a month ago, my posture, pain, strength, and ability to exercise on my own have improved noticeably. Core has been such an amazing experience, the entire team of trainers is great and it’s a super supportive and fun atmosphere. The trainers are also really knowledgeable about working with injuries and tailoring workouts to achieve specific outcomes. Based on your goals they will create a workout that addresses any weaknesses and improves the areas of your fitness in a way that is functional to your sport or goal. Incredible gym! I trained with Todd for 6 months and we hit it off right away- he was so welcoming and supportive (I started training with him after having a baby and a total hip replacement and was really struggling.) He pushed me to work hard, but with kindness and encouragement. He really helped me realize my strength while helping me rehab my hip.

I also love this gym because I saw people of all ages and body types working out with trainers while I was there- which tells you a lot about a gym environment! I can't say enough positive things about my year training with Jerry and his crew at Core Progression Elite Personal Training.

I was a scrawny kid, always the last one picked in gym class, and the weight room was always an intimidating place filled with jocks, so I've never really been in to strength training. I got in to cycling back when nobody was doing it, and gained great fitness, but not strength, and the result has been chronic overuse injuries. Every PT I've ever seen has said "Your core is weak, your glutes are weak..." and PT exercises are BORING! Starting at Core Progression has reversed this, and I feel better than ever.

Without me going in to a laundry list of my old injuries, Jerry has been able to observe my strengths, weaknesses, and imbalances and tailored my workouts to shore up my chronically injured shoulders as well as those other weak spots. The gym is a super welcoming place for people of all ages, shapes, and genders, and all of the trainers greet me by name, even if I've never worked out with them. Besides Jerry, I've trained with Austin, Luke, and Alexa, and they all have their unique style, and have been super encouraging.

As a doctor, I have good body awareness, and love how the trainers explain the theories behind why we're doing the moves we're doing and the subtle anatomical cues to lifting with proper form to avoid strains and injuries. While there are certain basic lifting moves that all strength training relies on (Bench, Squat, RDL, Dead Lift, DeadBug, etc.,) we almost never do the same exact move twice in a row. I don't know how many different Paloff Press variations Jerry has taken me through, so my muscles never get used to the moves, and are always progressing.

The champion American cyclist Greg Lemond said about training "It never gets easier, you just go faster." If you put in the work, you'll see the results. I've put on 8-10 pounds of muscle, in all the right places, which is not so easy to do at age 58. When I started in January, I couldn't do one push-up; now I'm doing multiple sets at the end of my workouts. Simple things in life like carrying a big bag of dog food, or a propane tank feel easier. Even though I've felt pathetic about where I was starting from, the trainers meet you where you are, and only measure you against yourself.

I'm looking forward to the 2023 racing season, and continuing to improve my results and ability to do long hard rides in the mountains without breaking down. My training with Jerry and Core Progression has been a breakthrough for my cycling and my physical well-being. Don't be afraid of the gym!

Working with Blake as I have since late March has been, and this isn't hyperbole, life-changing. Before starting at CP I was beginning to feel a bit like a prisoner in my own body. I had a great deal of strength (PR's between my bench, squat and deadlift combined put me around 1,100 pounds) but my mobility and stamina were severely lacking. Blake noticed this almost immediately and has tailored my workouts for me perfectly. Emphasis being placed on mobility and opening myself up to be able to move better, most workouts feel like conditioning which is exactly what I wanted. I came into Core Progression a handful of months before my wedding with the intention to strengthen so that I would naturally have better posture for wedding photos and just in general. I had never done strength training before, but knew that it was important and was a little wary of the gym setting because I didn't know what I was doing. Jerry was very nice during my tour and did a lot to make me feel comfortable and set me up to work with Deanna. Several months in, I'm coming to realize that working with a good trainer might be like finding the right therapist - when you find the right one, you find that you are challenged without being overwhelmed and that one day, you suddenly realize that you've made a lot of progress. Deanna in particular has always been flexible with my schedule and worked with my limitations without letting me ever get too comfortable. Hands down the best gym!
Rachel is the best trainer I have ever worked with. She meets you where you are and helps you get to where you want to go. Everyone is very welcoming from the second you walk in. No matter what your goals are, they will help you achieve them. This gym is brand new and kept in pristine condition and is very professional. Thank you to all the Core Progression staff for changing the game with your knowledge and training!

Hands down the best spot for personal training. All you have to do is show up. Jerry and his team will push you to become the best person physically and mentally. Every workout is based on your personal preferences and performance goals.
After herniating three disc’s in my lower back , I was worried I would never be able to work my job or play any sports again.
Then I met Rachel, assistant manager. She’s worked with me like a physical therapist and pro sports trainer. Now I’m back to my job better than ever and playing basketball for the first time in years.

I have been coming here now for a few months and i LOVE it! Rachel is seriously the best! I have seen so much progress for only going 2 days a week. She listens to your needs and what your wanting to achieve and takes action! Jerry has also been so great, and really taken the time to make sure we are getting the best out of our workouts with Rachel! 10/10 recommend as its not like a regular gym, its just for personal training.

I love the trainers, atmosphere and facilities at Core Progression, Littleton- everything is brand new! Alexa has been training me for the past few months and she did an amazing job prepping me for the Tough Mudder, which I just completed Saturday 7/24/21 in Sterling Ranch. I had a great time and it was a huge success thanks to her thoughtful, skilled training. She helped me to target and strengthen my weak points - most importantly, a weak knee. She also helped me to improve my upper body strength to conquer the Ladder climb and the other 26 obstacles within the 10 mile course. Now, a few days later, I am tired and have some scrapes and bruises, but I am not even sore! Thank you Alexa and Core Progression!

Found this place a couple months ago and thought I'd give it a try. Best decision! Such a great value for what you're getting in training, education and accountability. I meet twice a week now and really look forward to going to the gym for the first time. Having a trainer to take the thinking out of the workout and just let me show up and grind it out is worth every penny. Plus, I'm learning about good form, nutrition and whole body workouts.
