If you want to get in shape, or want to lead a healthy life, this is the place to come, it has the best coaches, I'm currently working out with Nathalie and she is incredible, she is patient, she is motivating and she is with you at all times, her energy is incredible, on the other hand there is Jeff who is also an excellent coach, I have been lucky enough to train with both, if I want to sweat and also enjoy my workout, this is definitely the place I want to come. I’ve only been going to Core Progression for about 3 weeks now but my trainer, Boston, is great. I like the 1 on 1 training and the workouts are always challenging. I have had a back injury in the past and Boston is really mindful of that which makes me more comfortable. The gym is new, nice, and very clean and never crowded.

I receive personal training from my personal trainer Boston. She lets me take control by focusing on what I would like to focus on and changing it at any point but still holding me accountable and keeping me motivated. Core Progression is a terrific place for exercise motivation. As a someone who sat at a desk for 45 years getting back to the gym was daunting. It was easy to be overwhelmed with how and where to start. I was unfamiliar with some of the machines and exercise props at the gym. Jeff and Natalie will evaluate where you are physically and then come up with a plan to help you meet your fitness goals. Each trainer includes cardio, strength training and stretching. It's not easy and you will have to work hard but YOU are worth the time and energy! You will absolutely get the most bang for your buck here! Just do it! This place will help you become the best you can be!

Working with Jeff over the past few weeks has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself. This is my first time ever doing personal training, and to be honest, I was nervous and a little shy walking into it. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Jeff made me feel comfortable right away.

Trainers are really knowledgeable and friendly. They work with you on your goals and adjust your program as your goals change. They are patient as you learn new moves and they celebrate your success with you. I am so much stronger from having been working with them for a year.

The gym is accessible through appointment only so it's never crowded and with COVID, it definitely feels safer than a standard gym.

UPDATE 2024: I've been working with Courtney Smith since 2020. I have made so much progress in my strength and even in my flexibility. I have found a great balance of how to measure my gains, and Courtney has been so capable of adapting my program to help me cross train for my circus training. I show her moves I'm working on, and she builds a program around the muscles involved in that move. It's been awesome.

My history makes it a negative to do a bunch of weighing and measuring - and there was no pressure to do any of that, all my goals are based on things I aspire to do- and fun

Wow! If you’re looking for a way to improve your health and overall wellbeing, look no further! I had no idea what I was walking into upon signing up with Core Progression. I am now aware that I am meeting my goals alongside a group of elite trainers willing to put their all into what they do in each session. I work with Izzy primarily; she is truly a dream, my biggest cheerleader! She is so keen on knowing what I can do and how hard I can push myself which is a game changer for me. I am doing things I’ve never done before thanks to her. She is so motivated, passionate, and funny; she makes my workouts something to look forward to. Working out is fun again in a way that I haven’t experience since high school. Our workouts are never mundane and there’s always clarity on what I am doing as well as the why behind it. I love this place! It’s a family feel, a vibe, it doesn’t feel uncomfortable like it does when going into a huge gym with people staring at you while you’re trying to figure things out. Everyone is super helpful! Other trainers there than I’ve worked with include Colby; one of the kindest guys you can meet who is clearly passionate and motivated about what he does. I have also worked with Fez; a super kind and motivated trainer who is always willing to teach me something new. The manager Emma, sweetest peach you’ll meet and SUPER motivating; she is the reason I am here! Overall, if you are intimidated because like me, you haven’t found your niche in the gym and have no idea what to do, what to target, how to reach your goals, or you haven’t taken working out seriously in decades, give this place a shot; it’ll be one of the best decisions you ever make; and that is not a statement to be taken lightly. Colby is encouraging, patient and focused. My sessions are 6am to 7am twice a week. After 4 weeks of consistent training, I am lifting heavier and maintaining a stronger physique.

Training here has been a great experience! I had weight loss surgery last December and was starting to need to weight train to avoid as much loose skin as possible, finding this place was much needed. My trainer helped me to turn fat into muscle and has helped me start to rebuild my muscle. My husband John was there for more than 3 years and now he left due to loss of job and now they are treating to send him to collections even though he was only month to month and his contract was done. I would never recommend this place to anyone. All they did was get him hurt they made him break his wrist one time and they didn't even care about his well being all they said is u coming in for ur next session

I have been with Core Progression in Northglenn since the beginning of February, and it's been beyond what I thought it would be. I initially met with Emma. She was great at narrowing down my goals and finding my "why". She was encouraging without being pushy at all. It really felt like just having a chat with a friend. She's very friendly and personable. So I signed up and was paired with David, and I'm soooo glad I did! My first session was just kind of feeling out where I was at. I couldn't do walking lunges at all, and struggled even doing them stationary holding on for assistance. David put together exercises that slowly built up strength in those muscles, and within 3 weeks, I was able to not only do walking lunges, but able to do them back and fourth on the turf 3 times! I also was down 4% body fat and 6 pounds. :) The whole experience is completely personalized to where I'm at and my goals. He checks in frequently and gives "homework" to keep me on track. Outside of my sessions, I'm encouraged to challenge myself as
well because of the support and accountability I get from David. He is incredibly kind, motivating, and knowledgeable. I know without David guiding me and keeping me accountable, I would most likely still be confused and waiting to start.
The only other trainer I've interacted with is Colby because he has sessions at the same time as mine. He is very motivating and supportive of his clients as well, from what I see. He always says good morning and checks in and is there for second opinions on things. It makes the whole place feel a lot more like a community and a good place to be. I'm sure all the trainers are just as fabulous, I've just not met them yet. :) I can not say enough good things about the Core Progression team, especially David! I'm so grateful this is where I ended up choosing for personal training. I don't dread workouts anymore. I'm excited to see my growth and see my body change and get stronger. Worth every penny!

I’ve been training with Colby and I’ve never had more confidence than I do now. I just got engaged and I am going to be 26. I really wanted to get my body back to the way that I had it. I had a surgery and I gained some weight, and I just did not feel comfortable in my skin. Having Colby push me in ways that I didn’t think I could be pushed makes me a more confident person. Management is dishonest and incompetent.
The trainer I worked with was good enough. But the place is so poorly managed I have to tell you to stay away. I signed up, and things were going okay. Then the problems came when I tried to cancel. They requested 30 days notice of cancellation. I gave them two months notice. The manager acknowledged he knew I wanted to cancel. And yet they still charged me. In my communications with them, they acknowledge their management errors caused this. But they still won't refund my money. The only way I could even get them to respond was by leaving this review, as my texts and emails went unanswered.

I try to give the benefit of the doubt, that they simply made a mistake. But their refusal show any willingness to correct it means I have to assume they are dishonest and thieving.

I've been going to Core Progression about 1.5 months Colby trainer has been great. Colby always demonstrate excerise prior to make sure I understand excerise and correct me if am not doing it the wrong way. Recently Colby showed me a way to help me touch my toes. Before. 10/10 recommend. I've been with Core Progression since May of this year. I have worked with Jordan a couple of times, and with Connor three times a week for one hour each time. I walk in and the atmosphere is that of family. You're greeted at the door with an obnoxious and gleeful ‘HEYYY!!' from Jordan, who is DEFINITELY a morning person. (I am not.) The people who frequent there are of all ages, shapes, sizes, and fitness backgrounds. I felt heard when I spoke to them of my goals for personal training. I see results, I receive a TON of positive encouragement. It's a place where anyone can go and feel comfortable working out. The hardest part for me was walking in for my first meeting, and making the leap to go, and I'm so glad I did. I've never looked forward to working out, I've hated it my entire life and it ALWAYS felt like a punishment. Now, I'm crushing PRs, I'm strong, I'm more confident and I owe it all to the Core Progression team.

Seriously. I never thought I would walk into a gym with a smile on my face, but here I am, and I’m so thankful for it.

If you're considering making the mental, physical and financial decision to get a personal trainer, come join us at Core Progression. Seriously. I couldn't ask for a better experience. I'll probably never leave this place. They'll never get rid of me.

ETA: I now work with Tre, and it is still fantastic! He motivates me, and gives me good, positive feedback about what I'm doing. With his plan, I am seeing results even faster than I was before. I mean seriously, the results are noticeable on a weekly basis. Tre makes the workout fun (even in our 6:30a sessions), and he makes me laugh. I feel like the perfect trainer is someone who makes you work hard, but it doesn't FEEL like work. Tre embodies that kind of trainer that is the 'perfect' one, in my opinion. He laughs with you, smiles, talks about your day, all the while you're crushing your goals and not even noticing. His method of training is incredibly functional proficient. STILL 10/10 for Core. :)

The gym it’s self is great for personal training! Conner was my Trainner and he was great. I would say if your going to come here do more then 30 min if you really want to get a good work out. There was a misunderstanding upon my sign up. And was not happy with the way management conducted business! However higher management reached out to me and made things right! The positive: My trainer was amazing. I left only due to a busy summer travel schedule and was going to go back, however, due to management/owner that will not be happening.

Negative: Austin Zakroczemski is a theif. I canceled my membership via email more than the required 30 days stated in the contract I signed. Come the following month I was charged. I sent an email (of which I never got a reply) and also reached out to my trainer. After my trainer reached out multiple times. I was finally refunded. Come the following month. charged AGAIN! Emailed Austin and AGAIN no reply. I had to dispute the charge. Come the following month I am charged AGAIN! I emailed AND called. Left a voice-mail and have yet to hear back from him. I am going to have to once again dispute this charge. There was another client that I know of that also had this issue. I am unsure if it is continuing for them as it is me, but I highly recommend not going to this location.

I was in the process of looking for a knowledgeable trainer and stumbled across Core. I mentioned this gym to my coworker, she proceeded to tell me this is where she use to train.
My conversation with her quickly turned into how unprofessional the staff is at core and why she no longer trains here.
She mentioned she was originally contacted on Instagram by the owner (John) to come in for a free session. After her session she bought training and was very uncomfortable in the sessions thereafter.
She was constantly hit on and never felt like they truly cared about her goals... only that she was an attractive female they got to hang out with for the time being.
Do not waste your money here it’s such a scam. Find a gym where they truly care about you and your goals.

It’s surprising to see all these 5 star reviews to be honest. (I’m sure they are having a, “write a great review and be entered to win a Fitbit” promo going on). Not only are they expensive, but there are no set prices for personal training sessions - they say, “it’s personalized and catered to your needs”, when in reality, they interview you and see how much money they can get out of you per session.

When I first started, I was told to take a personality test so they can match me with a trainer that would fit my needs. Well, I was put with a trainer who was NOT right for me, but the only one available for my requested time slot/days. My trainer ended up putting me down for sessions when I in fact had been out of town or had called to reschedule (within the allotted timeframe per the contract). My trainer ended up quitting before I realized that I was being charged for sessions I wasn’t signed up for and received NO apology from management. (Basically telling me, “it is what it is”)

Next, the finance department forgot to charge my card for a few months (100% their mistake but they tried initially telling me my card was expired, when in fact, it was not). Instead of reaching out to me to discuss a financial plan moving forward, they took the initiative to charge my card multiple times a month so they could get their money. When I reached out to them saying how unprofessional and unacceptable this was, they told me, “well wouldn’t you expect to be paid if you were in our shoes??” (Yes, but it was THEIR mistake and not reaching out to a paying client about double charging them is NOT the solution). They literally laughed at my face when I told them they should have called before double charging me. It was so rude and humiliating.

Finally, Covid, they handled it SO POORLY. They tried to go around the “stay at home” order, claiming they provided a service that would allow them to remain open and have clients still come in. Instead of offering clients discounts or equipment to use while having virtual sessions with their trainers, the offered clients to RENT equipment from the gym. Need I remind you, clients were still paying full price (the price to use the facilities and equipment) already.

This location’s management is so awful and unprofessional. Look somewhere else. The trainers have a high turnover rate (they quit because of how terrible the managers are) and the facility/equipment itself is not well-maintained and outdated.

Joining Core Progression has been a tremendous experience. In the short time that I have been going for personal training, I have seen great progress in reaching my personal fitness goals. The trainers keep all of the exercises fresh and challenging, all while maintaining the targeted fitness goals that are discussed when joining.

From the other clientele that I am met, Core Progression really can provide for all levels of fitness and can tailor make personal exercise programs to cater to many other forms of personal goals including mobility and injury recovery. As a former college athlete, I requested a performance targeted program and my trainer has provided numerous exercises that I had not yet been exposed to that have directly supported those goals. I am looking forwarded to continuing with Core Progression for the foreseeable future.

Their entire staff is friendly and engaging, which creates a safe and enjoyable environment to be in each day. They are flexible with my schedule, which helps me ensure that I can make as many sessions that I would like to. I have recommended Core Progression to my friends and will continue to do so.

I absolutely love this place! My 9 year old son and I train here three days a week, and we will never go anywhere else. When we first signed up they really took the time to figure out what our goals are, and they continue to tailor each workout to our individual needs.

Trainers are good, but high turnover so if u need a specific trainer request it in the contract.

There's been an intro of penny pinching ideas and promoting quick weight loss methods that take away from personal training/nutrition IMO. Lastly, read the contract and make sure you ask about cancellation policies, who you're training with, etc. Hard to get out!

If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband worked here for years, it was his dream job. John (owner) seemed to be a good honest man, asked a lot of the team, especially my husband-who had the majority of clients and involvement at the gym, and he did everything asked of him. The location went through a lot of turnover, labeled as dishonest employees, etc. Most were unhappy. Either way my husband worked hard to improve the location, and when the former GM was let go, my husband stepped in to keep the location and was put on as an acting GM. While everything was running smoothly, out of nowhere his access into systems was taken away, and on a Friday afternoon when he was out of the state, he received a text asking to meet-he called the owner, and HR woman Sarah, along with another team member, who all gave him no answers. I had to watch him mentally tear himself apart all weekend trying to figure out what the issue could be. He went in to train clients and a class on Sunday, and could not access anything for his clients. When he reached out to John to find out why, he was given no answers except being told to "relax" and that "everything was going to be ok". After being asked to meet the following day to discuss at noon, my husband came back to the gym, after having a gap from clients, and John was busy training for someone-I guess this wasnt a priority to him.

After all this, my husband was "let go" with no real reason that made sense, out of the blue, in the most unprofessional way possible. John also worded after everything that was done, that it would not be in the best interest of the location to have my husband move down and remain at the location.

John also knows that my husband and I are on a paycheck to paycheck budget, as most people are. During the times he projected to be interested in my husbands life, he knew this-and knew we were married two months before (without congratulating him, an employee keeping his gym going in a positive direction), and that we were short on money.

My husbands last paycheck was $19, just over $852 of that was taken by John, with false claims to have "overpaid" my husband from January through June-really? You JUST noticed that? This man is OCD about every pennies as a rich business man, and a new HR woman and him discover that suddenly, he is being over paid...I am going to say that is a lie. I say this because the team member who quit after my husband, and the previous employees "let go" from this location were all some how "over paid" and their last paychecks were withheld.

This man is not morally correct. He left us in a terrible bind to borrow money to pay rent, because we suddenly were short that $852, and my husband was without a job and his passion to train was tainted, and still is to this day. My husband transferred to the Boulder location, to stay within training, his passion, but the Core Progession name made him un happy to train not only for the Brand, but in general.

Something should be done about this, former clients and others are constantly saying at this point in time how they have been put through several trainers since my husband left, and others followed.

If you join this overpriced gym, expect to be locked into a contract you will not be able to get out of, and you will be put through a number of trainers, and rule changes-like the classes they are eliminating, anything John can do to make more money, and take more money from hard workers like my husband, who worked over 40 hours on both weeks and it went unpaid.

I do not recommend this environment, the owner and his beliefs, or the way this location is run-go to Boulder and support the manager Dan if anything, but AVOID this location. He ruined my husband's passion, and put us in a VERY tough spot in the months following his unemployment-which was a week before Thanksgiving.

*In response to the reply below, I am not in belief that the same "story" has happened to everyone who gets let go from here, or having $852 taken from them after working the entire pay period-On top of loss of love to train.

I started going to Core Progression at the end of 2016. At the time I lead a sedentary lifestyle, had crippling back pain and zero experience lifting weights. Core Progression literally changed my life. Now I am strong, in the best shape of my life and my back pain is essentially gone. Jon taught me the tools and even after several years of consistent training I still keep coming back because the sessions are that good. The more I improve the more challenging the sessions become and that is why I never plateau.

Absolutely awful experience with this company. I “won” a “free” week of personal training. The trainer contacted me and we set up a day and time for me to come in for my first session. I got there about 10 minutes early and told another trainer who I was there to meet, and he said he’d call and find out where this guy was. He comes back to me and tells me that the trainer said he didn’t think I’d actually show up so he wasn’t going to come in. But he’d get in contact with me about my “2 days of free personal training”. Well he never did. And has had the audacity to text me recently about there “$750 holiday special” they have going on. This place and its trainers are a complete and total joke. I would never recommend coming here!

This is a great place for anybody looking to get in shape, they’ve helped me lose 15+ pounds! The whole staff is friendly and very knowledgeable on workouts and meal preparation. Also, Rachelle is my favorite trainer there! She always gives me the best workouts tailored to my needs. I can’t say enough good things about her or the rest of the staff. I would highly recommend Core Progress for anyone looking to get in shape.

Core Progression is an awesome place to train. The team here really customizes the experience to each client. From private one on one training to the group classes it is all customizeable . My trainer Kyle has done an awesome job at really listen to my goals and helping me to achieve them. He helps me stay focused and on track to achieving my short term goals as well as long term goals. I have been going to Core in Northglenn for almost 2 years now and I cant imagine not going. If you need a gym that makes you feel accountable for showing up and cared for, this is it. Special shout out to Kyle who I do personal training and a ton of classes with- he's patient, funny and inventive! For personal training he plans workouts just for me and my goals.My workouts are never the same and I'm always getting pushed. He also does group classes that are amazing and tough. Our community at the gym is awesome and we are all just real people trying to get stronger together. Worth looking into if you don't want to be a dime a dozen at a big place.

Last year I decided to take control of my health, but I had no idea where to even start. This gym is great...if you can afford it. There's a reason you can't find any prices online. That's because it's crazy expensive. I canceled my membership because I couldn't justify spending over $100/month to only go to 2 classes per week. It's been more than a month, and I'm still waiting to be reimbursed after being told by Brandon, the manager, that I would get my money back.

I have never been an athlete, worked out vigorously or even on a daily basis but after having two boys back to back (Irish twins) I knew I wanted to not only make a change for myself but for them and my future as well. I looked around for a personal trainer program and stumbled upon Core Progression. Husband and I walked in and spoke to Brandon (who is the nicest and most wonderful person himself) and now I am a month in. BEST decision!

Brandon set me up with the ever so wonderful Rebecca Caiani. Wow. She is what one would call superwoman. Rebecca herself works out and takes very good care of herself, which not only inspires but follows through into her clientele. She uses the same integrity and perseverance with you as she does with herself! And it shows! She is a mamma herself and her style of training and encouraging is very efficient, nurturing and lasts beyond the personal training session. She takes the time to work at my pace, and helps to build and grow on the foundations and basics that I don't have. Rebecca has even worked on helping me with some jumping fears and balancing issues I just now discovered! She keeps me accountable while being strict and stern, but has a infectious smile that follows with encouragement. Each session is a different whole body workout and she invests in you and truly cares about your journey and progress. Rebecca also took the time to help me understand and create the right nutrition program that fits my needs and personal goals.I can not reccomend her enough!

Thank you Brandon, Rebecca and Core Progression! Can not wait to see what the future brings!

I first joined a 6 week fitness challenge. I took several classes each week. The trainers were amazing!!! The trainers are amazing, Eric is super supportive and while exercise has never been high on my list of likes, I looked forward to each and every class, even the 5:30am ones!! If you don’t have a deposit of $500.00 to put down then don’t look into the challenge. It was definitely a waste of my time to go there just to get that thrown into the mix in the end. They let you “split” the payments up but still. It was super frustrating and I think that needs to be laid out more clearly before you come in. Definitely a waste of time for sure.

I recently signed up for a 6-week weight loss challenge at Core Progression. Yesterday was my final weigh-in and I was thrilled to see my results! Core helped me reach a goal I never thought I could attain in such a short time! With a strict meal plan and great trainers who keep workouts fun and challenging, I was able to lose weight, see my body change, my energy increase, and feel proud of my accomplishments.
