I’ve been here a handful of times and ultimately stopped going because of how manufactured and disingenuous their practice feels. The locker rooms are also quite dirty. Holding a moment of silence for a Christian nationalist during a YOGA class was my final straw with this location. How inappropriate.

I have been attending this yoga studio for more than a year now. At first, I was intimidated to come to classes because core-power yoga is not your everyday yoga class. After committing to the practice, I can say that this is one of my favorite places to workout. Why? The workouts, especially the sculpt series, are always changing and challenging. I leave every class feeling recharged and detoxed (oh, and completely sore). The teachers are another tremendous asset because they bring the energy and community into every class. I can't say enough about how wonderful this gem of a studio is.

The Belmar location is a fantastic CorePower! The instructors are top notch. They have the nicest showers of any CorePower I've been to. The staff is friendly and parking is easy. I love that many of the classes start with the lights dim and gradually get brighter. The chilled lemon-lavendar cloth at the end of a class is such a nice touch.

Instructors start class with actual, politically-decisive ceremonies. No, I don't want to have a moment of silence for something like that unless we start class with a ceremony for every violent incident in this country.

I’m honestly surprised by some of the bad reviews here…CorePower Belmar has been the only studio I’ve ever stuck with consistently, and I absolutely love the energy and community. It never feels overly corporate or cold like some other locations I’ve tried. The vibe here is super comfortable and welcoming.
I know everyone has off days (instructors and students alike), but some of the negative feedback I’ve seen just doesn’t align with what yoga is all about…maybe it was a one-off experience. Personally, I’ve had great classes with every instructor I’ve taken here. Every time I show up, I leave feeling stronger and more grounded.

I’ve been practicing yoga for 16 years, and today was the first time I had something stolen from a yoga studio. For safety, I always bring my wallet, phone, and car key into the practice room, but I left my sunglasses under my jacket in a locker. When I returned, my locker was open, and my sunglasses were gone.
One of the fundamental principles of yoga is Asteya—non-stealing—yet that was completely disregarded here. It’s incredibly disappointing to practice in a community where theft occurs. I’ll never return to this studio, and I strongly advise others not to leave anything in the locker room.

Class was way too hot. In all my years of being a corepower member I have never taken a class that hot. Someone even said something to the instructor. Completely unnecessary and the instructor seemed not to care. Everyone was stopping for breaks and leaving the studio. The amount of people not practicing should have been an indication to her to lower the heat and open the door. I won’t be going back to this studio.

Did a free week and attended most days, so I had a wide variety/caliber of teachers. To be expected. The class today with Kate sent me over the edge. She made an announcement about discounted merchandise and memberships in the middle of class and completely disrupted the zen. She also played mostly Taylor Swift music… gag! We shouldn’t have to suffer through your personal playlist/ obsession. Really wanted to like this studio but will not be coming back.

Although I have rated this studio 2 stars, I have to start off by saying that I love corepower. I've had a very long, positive history with them, and even got yoga certified through their 200-hour program while living in Redondo Beach. Unfortunately, I've had to recently cancel my membership as the studio closest to me - Belmar- overpacks their classes, resulting in me trying to find classes elsewhere. I've tried for months to get over the fact that these classes were overpacked, however, it makes the room far hotter, stuffier, and way less clean. The studio unfortunately smells, and in the last class I attended, my husband had to mop up someone else's sweat from a previous class before putting his mat down. I'd encourage Belmar to reassess their class capacity, and make changes so that their students aren't on top of one another, and be sure to clean the studio in between classes.

Great community and great instructors. All of them have their own flavor which is so refreshing when compared with Corporate CPY locations. If you are in West Denver/ Golden/ Lakewood this is the spot for Yoga. I just wish they would add more class times and early morning SCULPT! xoxo

I’ve been a member of this studio for 5 years. A few years ago I would have rated this place 5 stars. But it has gone downhill in recent months. There are still some decent instructors on the schedule and I try to only go to their classes. But schedules change and subs fill in and unfortunately there are plenty of bad instructors spoiling the bunch.
Just last week I was in a class where the instructor Allison called out several people publicly in front of the entire class for briefly leaving the studio to simply take a break from what was stifling heat & humidity that Allison had set in the studio that day. This kind of public shaming was framed in a passive aggressive manner about not ruining the vibe for others in the room. What Allison failed to recognize is that it was people just trying to avoid heat stroke from the ridiculous heat & humidity setting she chose for the class. I did not leave that class feeling good physically or rejuvenated mentally like I would expect after classes with other instructors. I instead left Allison’s class dehydrated despite drinking an entire liter of water and angry and ultimately considering canceling my membership.

I love Corepower and this location is my "home" location. The staff is so kind, they are the kind of people who remember your name-- they are very encouraging and welcoming. The owner/manager Kate is an angel and all of the instructors on staff are as well. Robbie's sculpt class is so fun and it is always jam packed! Hannah, Loretta, Sydnie, Becky are also amazing! Keep up the good work guys!

I had been going to this location for over 5 years. Recently found out I would no longer be allowed to take class due to a personal medical decision. I had to reach out to management several times before my request to refund my unused classes was addressed. Very disappointing for a small business to discriminate against people and seperate them into groups. Not the love, light and community that is preached here.

They literally locked the door one minute after class started. Parking here is tough. Would not go back.

Belmar studio is the closest from my house and there are plenty of parking sports in the parking garage. I’ve only taken classes with Miranda on Mondays at 5:30pm. I’ll need to check out other instructors classes. Although studio is smaller than the Lohi. It’s better to show up 15 minutes early so you can find a spot to practice yoga.

I’ve been going to Kate’s class every Wednesday afternoon for the last month. It is AMAZING!!!
I have a stressful job and some really bad injuries from a car accident. I haven’t found anything else that releases my stress and the pain in my body.
Thank you!!!

I’ve only been here a few times because I don’t have a membership but each time I’ve been greeted with such kindness! Their hot yoga is the best! Such a calming environment with amazing, knowledgeable teachers. This time I was greeted by Mark, again, so kind. Definitely getting a membership.

I practiced at this location for 10 months before moving from the area. The instructors are technically proficient and insightful. I particularly enjoyed the sequences offered by Miranda, Kim, Angela and Kate. The parking structure offers free parking — so don't use the metered parking in front of the studio.

The staff was cold & short upon entering. I won't be going back after having encountered Miranda. The studio itself is a decent size and clean. Not much else to report after having a bad taste in my mouth from the staff. I'll be sticking with the LoHi location even if it's further from me.

Been going for 8 month now and love the classes however I went one day and noticed they had charged my card $68.00 for 3 classes instead of 1. When I inquired about this they said 'unpaid balance' which is completely fine however they are supposed to charge my card card on each class. Not my fault they decided not to HOWEVER I do have an issue with them running 3 classes on my card at once without informing me prior. Not good business at all!
