Did a restore class while we were in town for a girls weekend and we loved it. Heather was a great instructor and we appreciated the class! If I lived here, we would absolutely go to more classes. Plus their locker room is one of the best I've seen.

My initial class was fantastic. The instructor was exceptional, and the room temperature was just right. Remember, punctuality is key; arriving early is arriving on time. Ensure you're there before the class begins, or you won't gain entry as the email reminder states. Regrettably, I faltered on this for my second class and was unable to attend. However, the reception staff handled it graciously, acknowledging the importance of maintaining a conducive environment for ongoing classes.

If you’re into cardio yoga vs zen vinyasa flow type yoga, this is your spot. Rating this place 2 stars for the following reasons:
- I did the sculpt class. The horrible EDM music was already SO loud. The instructor wanted to turn it up louder but couldn’t figure it out thank goodness.
- I definitely got a workout from the sculpt class, if you go 2-3x per week you would be in great shape!
- I’m on the hunt for my yoga studio home in the Springs. It was my first time going last Sunday. My instructor was also the one to check me in, Erica. I wanted to do the free week to give this place a try before committing. When she asked me how I wanted to pay, said I wanted to do the free week. She made me feel like a criminal by saying “sometimes it doesn’t go through (I thought oh no, their system must have trouble at times) if you’ve done the free week already.” No duh it wouldn’t go through if I had done the free week already. She could have just processed my request without saying that, and instead made me feel uncomfortable like I was faking not having done the free week yet or something.
- When class was over, as I was walking out of the studio I told her “thank you, the class kicked my butt!” She responded with “yeah, that’s the point.”
Erica is bad vibes! She made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome at CorePower. Nothing could get me to go back there. I can get a solid workout elsewhere without having horrible EDM blasted in my ears and with better vibes.
Also, they don’t mop the floors between classes. Gross.

CorePower like all yoga studios is about the teachers. And in my personal opinion Julia Archer is an amazing teacher and anytime you can get in her class I highly recommend it. The CorePower yoga studio is clean and well maintained. The merchandise area is great if you're a woman. As a man who likes yoga as their main exercise I do wish they had more me items for sale.

I love Corepower all year round, but especially at the Holidays. I have been taking fantastic CP2 classes with Colin, who makes yoga even more fun than it already is. Today, my daughter and I took a CoreRestore at Garden of the Gods, and since we were the only ones there, she tailored the whole class to our specific needs. Such a gift!

The studio is clean. The instructors are all well-trained and lead safe classes. Each instructor has a different approach to class, and I like the variety. Yoga Sculpt is a full-body workout, low-impact, with the freedom to adapt for yourself.

I love how consistent the classes are. All teachers encourage the class to work to their ability and then push gently toward improvement. The teachers have really great discipline in their cueing which allows me to get a great workout and a bit of meditation at the same time. I really love the classes that have a general intention, it always helps me think of new things to concentrate and grow within my life. Thanks for all you do!

This studio is one of the two places where I did my CPY teacher training. I have practiced at this studio more times than I can count.
I'll readily admit that if you like heated yoga, no one does it better. The classes are not bad most days.
The trouble with CPY is that they are aggressively oriented towards young, healthy people. That ends up being abusive if you are older and unhealthy, like me.
I'm 65 and I have a fairly severe form of arthritis. To say that I wasn't welcomed by CPY would be a huge understatement.
The anatomy class during my CPY teacher training is a great example of what I am talking about. I showed up to that class and infomed the instructor of my medical issues. I needed a slight accommodation in order to manage myself successfully during the 4 hour class.
Not only did the instructor refuse to accommodate me, he did so aggressively. He told me that I would have to adapt like any other student, or I wouldn't get credit for the class. Now, this was a requirement for the training: Unless I was able to complete this class, I couldn't graduate. Basically, I was forced to either try to make it through the class, or abandon my several thousand dollars of tuition. Obviously I tried.
In an obvious attempt to make me as uncomfortable as possible, the instructor opened the door. It was January in Colorado. Snow was on the ground. Within minutes the temperature plummeted to the low 40s. I showed up for a class indoors. I didn't have any kind of protection from the cold. Within the first hour, I was in severe hypothermia.
As anyone who is familiar with arthritis knows, the result of hypothermia for person with severe arthritis is pain. Copious, massive amounts of pain. Within the first hour, I went into level 9 pain. The most common symptom of level 9 pain is uncontrollable sobbing. Once I got to that point, you may be sure that heaven and Earth was moved to help me.
I find it completely ridiculous that it got to that point. Let's assume that instead of arthritis, I have, say, MS or Parkinson's. In that situation, the result would be a call to 911. You definitely would have ended up with that person in the hospital. Or possibly dead.
Now, my question is simple: Does my ability to teach yoga have anything to do with my ability to withstand cold? Or putting it differently, is it possible for a person with arthritis, MS or Parkinson's to teach yoga? I have personally fought back one of the most difficult and daunting health problems that you can possibly imagine. As I write this, I'm about 90% remitted off my peak. All of that progress is due to the practice, of course.
If I were CPY I would be looking for teachers just like me. Someone who has used yoga to dramatically improve their health. Instead, what you get from CPY is teachers who are young, fit and pretty.
Here's my bottom line: These folks are elitist jerks. They engage in rank aggressive discrimination against elderly and disabled people. If you are not young and fit at CPY, you're pondscum. That's just annoying, particularly when they maintain a hypocritical pretension of being enlightened. Avoid CPY if you care about the interests of the elderly and handicapped. They're bigots.

Im loving my free week! Im hoping to become a part of the SET team so I can continue to practice. Everyone I’ve taken a class with has been super supportive and compassionate. I’ve taken some classes that I felt like I didn’t have the background to take because they fit into my schedule and I was intimidated by my own lack of experience, but the teachers made me feel comfortable and helped me through when I was struggling. My free week is almost over and I’m hoping to continue practicing when it ends

I just adore the beautiful humans that reside in this space. The instructors and practitioners create a beautiful harmony that I have yet to experience at other facilities. This is my home away from home. The classes offer something for everyone-- restoration, relaxation, cardio, flow, workout... "all the things". The instructors are highly skilled at creating beautiful sequences set to phenomenal playlists. I just can't say enough good things about this space, and the people who fill it.

Corepower was my first yoga experience 10 years ago... I've tried several other styles/locations nation-wide since, and I can very honestly say none measured up (most were pleasant, just not the same). I feel like I should state that when I started I was a competitive athlete and I liked that the 90min hot was not "easy." Soon after retiring I was still pretty active and got into fusion and C2 classes. Again, I liked that it was a workout. Not to say they are not relaxing-- they relax and revive/refresh (whatever you want to call it)-- but they can also be challenging.
I can appreciate that some of the negative reviews state that it's too hot, too hard, too whatever else... I do know they offer C1 and restorative yoga, which may be what those patrons were looking for (I've personally never attended). As for expense, Well, it's not cheap. However, they do offer discounts and other incentives. And we'll, you get what you pay for. I totally think it's worth it if you go often. Paying class by class does get a little pricey. As for the instructors, they are awesome, attentive, and helpful 99.9% of the time. Not sure what more you can ask for...
I just started taking classes again (been so long I even got a free week!). A decade later and the classes are just as good as I remember, and precisely my "cup of tea." I was a bit nervous since I am about 20 lbs heavier, and nowhere near the shape I was back in the day. I am happy to realize the practices are essentially what you make of them. Even now they are as challenging, or relaxing, as I make them. Thanks!

I have always had the most incredible yoga practice experiences at aCore Power. The instructors are well trained as well as sensitive to each student's needs. The class rooms are clean and well equipped whether someone might be a beginner or more advanced in their practice, everyone is graciously accommodated. I highly recommend CorePower Yoga.

Okay so I will give the pros and cons like everyone else. I am a yoga instructor and no I do not wish to teach at Core Power but when a groupon comes up I will do that because it's cheaper and I have someplace to go where I don't have to think about teaching but just doing. That being said overall this place is too pricey I don't know how it stays in business with the donation based studio up the road (and no I don't teach there either lol). Anyways went to Evie W. class at 4:30 on Tuesday a Hot yoga class. First it's just too hot even for the hot yoga but that could just be me. Also I told her when I checked in that I wasn't feeling well and that I might have to go if I don't feel well. So she said in an annoying way well just try to stay. So I did the class and almost made it thru but I started to turn purple and had to go 5 minutes before it ended. Evie seemed so aggravated and annoyed. Didn't even check on me throughout the class or check on me afterwards where I had to sit in the locker room for 20 minutes so I could drive home.
You guys have got to stop getting aggravated over stuff like that. Some of the instructors are good and some just seem burnt out and annoyed. Sarra R. at the Nevada location seemed really bothered when I took her class. Sorry that I can do everything but it seemed to make her feel insecure. That being said.
You guys do offer classes all day which is good but the classes seem scripted and you are very corporate. I will not be coming back ever groupon or no groupon. It's just not my cup of tea, especially for the price. You just don't know what your going to get as far as instructor wise.

Corporate crap. Corporate (bad) service. Yes, some nice people work there and some of them are pretty good. Some have big attitude. I've practiced yoga all over the country and Core Power in Colorado Springs tops the list for my worst experience - twice.

Definitely NOT worth the money. The rooms are kept much too warm. I always thought yoga was suppose to be calming and relaxing. This is more like speed-yoga.

My best friend and I went to the Hot yoga class at the Nevada studio last night. I LOVED the class! I felt wonderful afterwards! But the teacher....not so great. Since hot yoga is basically doing yoga in a sauna....my friend was having a hard time..She left the room to get some fresh air as she was begining to feel like she was gonna pass out. Later after she returned the both of us exited the room for anout a minute. When we returned the instructor told us never to leave the room again. I was so frustrated with her attitude towards us. It was an intense class and we needed a break! Especially with such an intense class it is important to listen to your body...I wont be taking a class from Taryn again. Other than that the class was great!
