Had an awful experience this morning, was at the door at 8 AM and the instructor saw me and proceeded to lock the door on me. Worst experience for my first class at corepower class and I will never be coming back here again and I will not be recommending this Company to any of my friends. Awful experience

The Studios at CPY Colorado Springs – Nevada have truly become a sanctuary for my practice. The variety and availability of hot yoga classes make it easy to find something that fits my schedule, and the sense of community here is incredibly grounding. Studio 2 consistently reaches the perfect temperature—hot enough to challenge, but never overwhelming—which makes for a deeply satisfying and safe heated class every time.

The locker rooms and changing areas are beautifully maintained and thoughtfully stocked with all the post-yoga essentials—towels, toiletries, and those little extras that help you leave glowing and ready to take on the day.

A special shoutout to Rita and Paul, whose deep knowledge and dedication to the practice of yoga are unmatched. They bring so much intention and care to every class, offering personalized attention and encouragement that makes you feel truly seen on your mat.

Whether you’re new to hot yoga or a seasoned practitioner, this studio is a gem in Colorado Springs. Every visit feels like a reset—physically, mentally, and spiritually. Thank you to the whole team for creating such an inviting and inspiring space!

I've been coming to this studio for 22 years. The CorePower program has remained true to its founding ethos and keeps the vibe and the energy of their yoga going strong. I'll always recommend the Nevada studio for an outstanding yoga class.

Heather was an amazing teacher 💛 not having done bikram in a very long time she made it easy to follow and her explanation for adjustments made such a better practice. Clean studio with all the extra treats you can hope for .

I haven’t been to yoga in awhile and was looking forward to attending again. I was less than 1 minute late due to a personal emergency, and felt terrible I wasn’t there early. The manager immediately made me feel bad for being 1 minute late and said that I was the only person that showed up for the class, that I really needed to arrive 5 minutes early, and she was about to send the instructor home. She said I can “take it up with the instructor” to see if she’d be willing to teach me. After that interaction I immediately felt extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome, wanted to get out immediately. I could tell the instructor felt bad about how rude her manager was being, but this put such a bad taste in my mouth that I will never visit this location again.

The studio is nice, and the instructors are amazing. They have great retail, which is a nice bonus. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, was because of the parking location, GPS couldn't find behind the studio, so I got lost.

Love going to these classes! I tried Nevada location for the first time. The commute is longer from where I live, but the times match up. I wish that the class times would vary throughout the week to match my schedule instead of doing the same exact classes at the exact same time every day.

I have been a member of Core Power for a few years now! I used to never like yoga.. It wasn't my vibe and it was boring and too slower me. One of my besties made me go to Yoga Sculpt with her because I love hard and more hit type of workouts.. That day was the beginning to my yoga journey!! I WAS OBSESSED! Core power yoga has truly changed me and my view of Yoga! Yoga is so beautiful, peaceful and truly makes you strong.. mentally and physically. I have truly found my love for yoga through Core power!! I am leaving Colorado Springs and moving to Melbourne FL.. I am so sad to be leaving CP but I hope they open one close to me in Florida! :)

Cheers to all the teachers in the Colorado Springs locations. Thank you for all you do!

Namaste.

Dropped in for a class while visiting Colorado Springs. Julia was a wonderful instructor. She was so welcoming, I felt right at home in the studio. The class was a great pace, with modifications for a more advanced flow. She incorporated the core sequence I have come to expect in all my C1 and C2 classes. I had a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back to visit again!!!

I really like that they give you a free week and do not hassle you to sign up after. 👍🏽

I really enjoyed the Core Power Yoga 2 class as it was the perfect temperature and exactly what I was looking for- a peaceful & mindful workout.

I have 3 stars because I think the price point (membership or class packages) is very over priced. This isn’t a studio you can go to once or twice a week.

The availability of classes is my very favorite part. The variety of classes and instructors is wonderful. The professionalism and knowledge base of instructors. The welcoming, friendly, and supportive environment were important to me when I was nervous about attending different levels of classes. I really enjoy classes in Studio 2 classroom, especially the candlelight C2 class. I loved my week of classes! I even brought my 14 year old son to one with me. Thank you!

It is with regret that I now rate CPY as 2 star. I was a member of this studio for several years. I did my teacher training here. I have lots of reasons to be fond of these folks.

In fact, I moved 1,400 miles to come to Colorado in part so that I could attend this studio and take yoga teacher training here.

To say that did not go well would be a huge understatement. I attended the teacher training to great acclaim. I was consistently told by all of the instructors to go for the additional Extensions class (at yet another several months and hundreds of dollars). At the graduation ceremony for that class, I was encouraged to apply for a position as an instructor with this studio, which I immediately did. I waited an entire year for a response to that application. Eventually, I approached the director of this studio, Sara Rainey, as to why I never received a response to my application.

She refused to answer the question.

Eventually, I watched each and every graduate of this class get auditioned. Not me though.

Now, to be perfectly honest, I do not have any idea of why CPY didn't audition me. It's mysterious. Obviously, they broke a promise when they did that. However, I have a theory. I was more than 30 years older than any of the other participants in the class. I'm also disabled. I have severe arthritis. The only reason that I am not presently in a wheelchair, is because I have been practicing yoga pretty much every day for the last 16 years. My hunch is that CPY engaged in rank ageism and healthism in their decision not to audition me. Obviously, that would constitute age discrimination, as well as discrimination against the disabled. Remember that CPY has stubbornly refused to tell me why they wouldn't audition me. That certainly indicates that that reason is not one that they are proud of.

Could I successfully teach yoga? Yes I suspect so. I taught thousands of classes in commercial gyms during the 80s and 90s. I was an AFAA and IDEA certified exercise trainer. I taught cardio, bench, aqua, you name it.

My ask to readers of this review is simple: Don't use CPY. There are lots of alternatives. And these folks are jerks. If you care about discrimination against the disabled and elderly, then please avoid these guys.

The studios are clean and feel peaceful, with very little outside noise to distract. I am instantly able to get in the mindset to practice. The classes offer various levels to appeal to all yogis, and the variety keeps me interested. But the instructors are what makes Corepower successful. They're knowledgeable, professional and involved all while promoting an environment of equality, caring and nurturing growth. This is a company made by the quality of the teachers for sure! My favorite being Julia Bogart-Ortiz who brought me to this studio!

I hate to give this place a 1 star rating since I have been practicing yoga at corepower for several years, I love practicing at corepower, and I love the teachers. But as of lately the heat and humidity have been way too high, specificity in the C2 classes. They are set well above 100 degrees which is way too hot to safely practice. I have reached out to the service desk online which I was told “to practice near the door and to take C2 classes since they are not as hot”, even though it was the class I was specifically talking about. I’m just not very satisfied with the customer service and how things are handled.

I am amazed at the quality of the instructors and the customer service. The only downfall is that the shower and changing room is rather small and crowded and there is not enough space to store belongs.I truly felt the instructor had in-depth knowledge and was passionate about her constituents.

We are visiting Colorado springs on vacation. After doing a lot of hiking/walking I convinced my fiance to take a yoga class with me to help stretch out our sore hips and legs. As soon as we walked in corepower we felt so welcomed! Our instructor was excellent! My fiance is still new to yoga so we were looking for a beginner friendly class so we took c1. Julia (our instructor) gave out great cues and helped adjust our poses! As a yoga instructor myself, I strongly recommend this place!

The studio is very welcoming. I mostly like the consistency of the classes...you know what you're going to get. The instructors are friendly, knowledgeable, and care about their students (getting to know you). The classes are challenging, yet if you want to slow down you can...'you are your own teacher'

Natasha, the instructor for C1, was awesome! She was very helpful and explained the poses well. She was also very friendly and excited to share her passion for yoga with others. The facilities on Nevada are very nice - clean and well decorated.

I would have answered "5 stars," but I gave a 4 because classes are so expensive! The only reason I'm attending is because I won a certificate for a free month at a fundraiser for UpaDowna, but I don't know how anyone affords to go to yoga for over $100 / month or $20 / class - crazy!

I'm a cardio junkie, so yoga was never something I was interested in - until I came down with a case of "over use" from running. My doctor suggested I try hot yoga to help stretch, so I tried out CorePower, and I fell in love! Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and their sculpt class would be a challenge for even the fittest gym rat. I've recommended CorePower to people of all fitness ranges, and have never received any negative feedback - they are awesome!
