Looking forward to a Yoga class, rushed to get ready, fought with traffic to get to the studio, only to be told that the humidifier is not working ( again ).

There is no way to contact the studio by phone and the app says nothing about the poor maintenance, or the heat or humidifier not working.

This is the 4th time in about 2 months that equipment is not working. The employees say it is a common occurrence and that corporate is slow to react. To charge a monthly fee and not deliver what is promised, is basically dishonest.

Wendy C is a very gifted yoga teacher. I have been enjoying her classes for the last few years and highly recommend her.
At CPY it's all about the teacher, choose wisely.

Signed up for 5:30am yoga and it said to be 15 min early. I got there at 5:10, then come 5:30 and no one is there. The studio is closed and locked. Loved waking up at 4:30 for that.

Wendy is Great! She articulates the flow of poses clearly and with confidence, she is also more creative than most; I enjoy this a lot as it keeps things interesting for both body and mind. Her theme (in which you can use in your meditation) is also appreciated 💛 I would recommend CPY

I love this studio. It is close to my house. There are a lot of class times and all of the teachers are awesome.
The problem is they think they are some type of exercise physiologist! I understand all classes minimally 85° but they most often have the temperature at 98° at least. Which I pushed through- Hey, I like challenges. Admittedly , I suck at being in the hot room, but I was accepting the added difficulty. Setting the humidity to 225% is absolutely ridiculous and seemingly should not even be an option for these yoga gurus, trying to make a mark in the world! Get a grip on the extreme climate manipulation. Namaste.

I love the hot yoga classes at this studio offered by Kris and Shannon. I’ve attended a lot of hot yoga classes at various studios over the years and I’ve found both of their classes offer the most consistent traditional Bikram format. So many hot yoga teachers do not enforce the technicalities of a posture, they don’t keep the room consistently hot, they do not correct postures and I’ve seen students doing something completely different from the current posture. I love the discipline offered at Kris and Shannon’s classes. There are not any other studios in south Denver that offer traditional Bikram hot yoga in the format these ladies offer.

The studio is very nice and clean. Very similar to other franchise yoga studios. I’ve been a Core Power member for 10 years. I recently took Shannon Ardo, Hot Yoga class. I’ve never felt uncomfortable in a yoga class, until now. If you have any injuries, I would highly recommend staying away from this teacher. She has a one size fits all, I know your body better than you know your own, mentality. Asked me to stop using a block to support my lower back injury. Made the entire class very uncomfortable for me to express my own body how I need to. I felt like I was being yelled at by a school teacher for not following the rules. Wanted to give a heads up to other athletes who may do yoga to help strengthen their injuries and can’t to every pose perfectly.

I like the Yoga Sculpt classes. It adds some nice variety to doing more traditional yoga classes, since it involves cardio and strength training (using 3-15 lb weights). If you like barre classes or just want to add some variety to your yoga routine, Sculpt is a good option to try.

They emphasize their amenities in their locker rooms. However the studios were outdated and the locker rooms were chaos with dirty/broken lockers. It came across pretentious and felt like we were being scolded, not instructed.

It also felt very transactional and not personal at all.

2/2 instructors I've taken classes from (one was at the Highlands Ranch location) never did yoga themselves during class and didn't even have their own yoga mats.

We were told "water is a distraction" by the hot class instructor, and she said she would tell us when we were ALLOWED to drink water. We were told incorrect postures for particular poses such as Eagle and the positioning of our arms.

Both instructors gave horrible cues to the point of confusion from a long-term yogi. One instructor scolded us to keep our eyes to ourselves in the mirror. Since the cues were so bad, I needed to observe what other yogis were doing to be able to perform the postures, but yet I felt like that wasn't "allowed". Also, how do you grow and create goals if you can't admire other people's practice?

Over all, it gave really bad vibes that I couldn't shake. No one has reached out to see if I'm enjoying my membership/have concerns etc. I do not plan to return.

Hands down the best CPY studio. I drive from Parker just to attend the classes and instructors here. It is a very warm and welcoming environment, very clean, and the instructors are amazing. I especially love the Hot yoga classes by Kris, Shannon and Emily. I love this studio so much!

I’ve consistently been attending for a month and I’ve noticed I’m absolutely getting stronger and I’m getting the poses down better. I take a lot of C1 with Sheena N. I love her classes so much! I try to take them whenever she teaches. She truly cares about my form and adjusts me when necessary and then cheers me on when I’ve progressed in a pose. I am really lucky that I began my practice with her class as it’s been fundamental for me and being able to expand into other classes. I’ve also taken hot, sculpt, restore, c2 and csx and they’re so challenging. I love all of the instructors so far and I am looking forward to soaking in all the benefits of my practice.

Love yoga, wanted to find something with some heat for added intensity, Core Yoga hot the spot. Did 10 passes to try it out. 1st class was free so I could see how they operate. Wendy Randall is a great instructor with a high paced flow. She keeps the class motivated and her flow is smooth.

First time doing a sculpt yoga class and LOVED IT! Our instructor Sami was amazing. The incorporated weights mixed with the heat, tempo of the class and music made it a 10/10 workout. Highly recommend!

Hot yoga was AMAZING. Instructor Shannon is very friendly and guides you through every adjustment you need to make to have much more effective poses. I felt way better afterwards than I ever have after a massage or chiropractor visit. The facility is clean and modern. Wish I could already go back tomorrow!

Studios great and very nice people .

Corepower yogas membership cancellation is frustrating though.

I didn’t feel comfortable in a room of 20 people so I am taking a break.

Today I attended a 1 hour Hot Yoga class at the Park Meadows location. Upon entry it felt like the other 3 CPY studios in Denver I've visited since the reopening; well cleaned, the staff protected and temps taken at the door. Once I got into the yoga room I was horrified. Of the 10 people taking this class, including the instructor, I was the only person wearing a mask. Without my glasses it's hard for me to see detail and when I realized the environment, the class was beginning. No mention of masks or social distancing despite a few practitioners standing within 3 feet of each other, maskless of course.

As a long time yogi, I struggled with my need to decompress and my total discomfort with the inexcusable surroundings. I pulled my mat to to the furthest corner of the room and left before final savasana to speak with the front desk. Before doing do I checked the app and signage for any communication around this particular class or studio being masks optional and found nothing.

I was told by a very friendly and concerned CPY employee that at a few of the southern locations, including Highlands Ranch, masks are indeed optional on your mat and that many people have found this inconsistent policy between studios alarming. Her advice? Keep practicing closer to home and avoid this studio. Best safe practicing communication all day.

My complete disappointment is layered; shame on Core Power for not maintaining the most consistent safety standards across ALL CPY locations regardless of county measures - look out for your staff and yogis. Period. Shame on the studio management for complying with CPY Corporate and not looking out for their students and staff more effectively. And most of all, shame on my fellow practitioners for not looking out for each other. "We're in this together" applies everywhere in my opinion.

Finally, THANK YOU to the honest employee at Park Meadows and to the Cherry Hills, Grant and Broadway locations for doing a superb job keeping everyone protected.

Dear owner - I have been to core power studios all over the nation - Chicago, Washington DC, Denver, etc. No studio has a policy that in order to use a LOCk for the locker room, you need to trade in your keys. I was asked to do that by an instructor. I won’t share the name but you need to train them better. As a young brown man, it was humiliating to turn in my car and house keys for a LOCK to use. Would the instructor do the same with older white people? This was supposed to be a safe space. I will rethink about coming to the studio again.

I love Bird's Heated C1 Yoga class on Sundays at 6p!!! I have never loved a yoga class more than I do for Bird's class. Bird turns the heat and humidity on, but because his classes are usually packed, he will turn the heat down about 15 minutes in and all the heat in the room is due to everyone's hard work.

Bird plays classic rock during his class and he has us go through sun salutations quickly. I like this a lot because if I hold a pose too long, my mind starts to wander and think about things I need/have to after class or for the coming week. But Bird's flow keeps me engaged in class and doesn't give me that option to have my mind go outside the class.

I love Bird's class and would be deeply saddened if he stopped teaching it.

have been attending classes at this studio for several months. it is a very small location - they could certainly grow into a bigger space with the number of attendees, but the classes are good and frequent enough to find something to fit your schedule. the only con is with all of the bare feet and sweat, i would like to see evidence of it being cleaned more frequently - blocks and straps smell moldy as does the humidifier.

I knew I enjoyed yoga, but I had only done a few drop-in classes until I got a membership a Corepower, and it's been so incredibly worth it. I feel happier and healthier every time I go, and the instructors are all incredible, especially Tonya who does the Friday morning hot yoga classes. I'll be moving soon, so I'm going to have to move to another studio, but it'll be worth to drive to keep coming to her class!
