Would give a billion stars if I could. I’ve been going here for about a year and a half, I’ve tried to see as many instructors/classes as I can and they’re all amazing. If I could give anyone a shoutout it would be Terri St, she is so creative and knowledgeable and knows how to challenge you without making you feel bad if you can’t do something. If you have a chance to go to one of her classes definitely do it, I always leave feeling like I’ve learned something/feeling empowered knowing I’ve done something I didn’t ever think I was able to do

CorePower Yoga Tennyson is hands down one of my favorite studios in Denver. The location is super convenient—right on vibrant Tennyson Street—and they offer a wide variety of classes throughout the day, making it easy to fit a practice into any schedule. The instructors are experienced, welcoming, and bring great energy to every class. The studio itself is clean, well-equipped, and has a calm, modern vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer.
Bonus: there’s 2-hour street parking available on Tennyson, but it can fill up quickly—plan ahead and give yourself a little buffer. Totally worth it for the post-class glow. 💛🧘♀️

1 star because of their cancellation policy. I love CorePower classes and the community, huge thanks to the amazing teachers and the welcoming environment, but definitely no thanks to their corporate policies, which feel antiquated and embarrassing for them. I recently moved out of state and called to cancel my membership. It had just renewed on the 1st, and I called on the 2nd. Not only was I told I couldn’t get a refund, but since I was 29 days before the next billing cycle (instead of the required 30), I’d still be charged again next month. I’m already out of state and can’t use any of the credits. I asked if I could transfer them to friends who still live there or even use them for merchandise—also a no. It felt like theft hidden behind “corporate policy.” Considering how expensive these classes and memberships are, this kind of “gotcha” approach feels outdated and wrong. It’s disappointing they weren’t willing to work with me at all. I imagine a lot of their client base are young people without tons of disposable income—read the room??? We’re here for community and great workouts, not to get completely screwed out of $175+.

CorePower Yoga’s Tennyson studio in Denver offers a welcoming and invigorating environment for yoga practitioners of all levels. The studio is well-maintained, providing a clean and comfortable space for practice. Among the talented instructors, Malcolm stands out for his exceptional teaching style. His classes are thoughtfully structured, offering a balanced blend of challenge and accessibility. Malcolm’s clear instructions and encouraging demeanor create a supportive atmosphere that motivates students to deepen their practice. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or new to the mat, attending a class at the Tennyson location is a rewarding experience that leaves you feeling energized and inspired.

I’ve recently been able to join corepower again and I’m so glad to be back! This location is wonderful, as are the teachers. Parking can be tough on the main road but always plentiful spots on the street behind.

I wanted to thank Robyn today for her amazing class! She was open about having things in her life that were not in balance right now except yoga. Yoga is always there for her. She used this class to help move our energy and realign balance. She was speaking to me. I needed this class so much. It touched me. It helped me. I’m
So thankful for her and for having found yoga to bring me some peace in my life.

I grew up in India but never really cared for yoga. I tried core power on a lark and I should say I'm getting hooked. I've taken classes with four instructors so far and all of them have been kind, earnest, knowledgeable, and approach their practice with a deep respect for the spiritual traditions of yoga. C1 is still my favorite class. Hpf and c2 are good but run too hot. I wish they would offer C1 more often. It would also be nice if they offered classes that were less stimulating for the senses (no music). Studio is well maintained and other students who practice here are quite respectful and considerate. Overall, a really good and welcoming environment for your practice.

My favorite corepower studio so far! Great instructors & environment. Bigger & newer facilities compared to other studios. Amazing location, many good restaurants to go to post working out.

Love this studio so much! Kaitlin’s classes are amazing and really start my day off well. I am a person who can’t stand it if it is too hot in class and the instructors are very in tune to the temperature here and keep it reasonable. Highly suggest practicing here!

C2 class was 108 degrees. That’s not c2 and not how the class is advertised on your site. I asked 20 minutes to turn down the heat…literally the instructor stared at me blankly without responding. I left. Come on guys…108. Unbearable.

I love CorePower, the workout, the breathwork, the warm rooms, and the music. They are all also so clean and that makes a huge difference when choosing a studio to relax in, sweat, and be around other people.

I really like this place! Super inviting and supportive yogi, steam studios, and lots of static holds—perfect if you’re looking to improve your muscular control, stretch, and detox. They’ll recommend a C1 or C2 course to start with, and that’s fair, but be prepared for the C2 course to run fast for someone who doesn’t know all the positions yet.
Studio includes showers, and there’s nothing like taking one after sweating profusely for an hour. 😩 They lock it during sessions, so you’ll need to come on time, every time. That said, my experience is that their C2 class happens multiple times in a day, so if you’re late for one, you can generally hang out and catch the next. There are three-hour parking spaces in a turn just north of the studio, though they may be occupied at certain parts of the day; thus, it may be beneficial to bus or cycle in, if possible.
They offer the first two weeks for a dollar, at unlimited course booking, and they’ll rent out yoga mats for USD$2 in a session. Worth a try for the C2’s and CR’s. Highly recommended! 😊

Belle is a wonderful instructor and person, making even a complete novice such as myself feel capable and comfortable. Demonstrating knowledge, expertise, and extreme patience...emphasis on extreme...she helped me overcome nerves and uncertainty to have an amazing experience that opened my eyes to the world of yoga. It's rich history, it's medical and mental benefits, but most of all the amazing people who encourage the better parts of myself.

I've been trying to get into yoga again but was intimidated at first. That all went away after I came to class with Belle, they made me feel right at home and gave me some of the best instruction I could ask for! I can't wait to come back again!

I am new to yoga and was very self conscious about starting. I don’t move or bend well due to surgery on my knee. Belle made me feel comfortable and welcome in her class. She didn’t mind that I was new and inexperienced, she let me take my time and learn it. Belle is the epitome of who a teacher should be. I can’t imagine going through this process without her!

I've been a corepower member for about 5 years and I truly love it. It is my therapy, especially as of lately as I have formed a close bond with an instructor and what we like to call ourselves, her groupies. I'd be lost without Corepower and the connections I have made there.

This is my favorite CorePower studio in Denver! I love the staff and haven't taken a bad class. I do recommend getting there early for some of the afternoon classes, but it is a great place to practice yoga and work out!

Tennyson has grown into one my favorite CPY location since it opened. Fantastic and friendly teachers that have a range of styles so it makes it easy to come here every day.
Locker rooms and shower area is very small compared to some of the larger locations but the studio is beautiful

Great job with social distancing the students. Feel very comfortable going to all classes since they limit the humber of students because of covid regulations. Everyone wears masks 😷 .

I’ve recently started coming back to the studio and feel very comfortable with class spacing and precautions being taken. I was hesitant to try yoga with a mask on, but it was so nice to be back in class I hardly noticed. Thankful Corepower is open and appreciate the friendly and kindhearted staff!

Maybe I’ve been away so long from core power that I didn’t realize that they pack their classes like sardines, I had to pack up and leave I couldn’t even practice with being packed so tight were touching each other’s Mats.I couldn’t even spread my arms half way out to get into postures.... Having your own space to practice literally means your own space. Not cool.
