This is a great place. I've got about six months in now and wish I'd started sooner. Six pack abs (like 300) on the way!! Great group. It's like a second family. If you get through two months, you're set. Kyle and Kody are brother-owners who bring excellence w/ style. I start my day with some combo of Callie, Alyssa, James, Carrie, Rachel, Brody, or Taylor and it's way better than a frappe!! Treat yourself to some DNR.

They have a fantastic intro to CrossFit class to teach you how to lift so you don't hurt yourself. It's very accessible and I see all types of people there working out and having fun. Not stereotypical at all.

Friendly, welcoming, helpful & encouraging at every skill level. Plus extra perks not every box has: more available class times than any box I've been to, showers, and conveniently central location.

The best thing about DNR is the community that the owners have created. Second best thing: it is the cleanest gym I’ve ever been in. I have been going here since 2020, and I would not go anywhere else. I highly recommend if you’re interested in fitness to check this place out.

CrossFit DNR is the real deal. Coaches are knowledgeable and won't hesitate to jump in to correct your form and scale you back so you don't hurt yourself. The gym cultivates a real community energy where folks care about each other and push each other to do their best (even when your best looks very different than the person beside you... There is never any judgment or shame).
After taking the Fundamentals class, I was nervous to step into a regular class but the other people and coaches welcomed me in and never batted an eye when I asked for a basic movement to be re-explained.

I worked out at CrossFitDNR for almost two years before moving from Fort Collins. I got into it because I wanted to feel more in shape for other activities, but I got way more into CF than I ever expected. The coaches are great. Kody and Kyle do a great job of running the programming and the gym as a whole. The other coaches are well trained and have done quite a bit of shadowing prior to coaching on their own. The workouts are fun, challenging, and well designed. I found myself in better shape than I ever expected as an adult with a desk job.
It’s also a great community. Really friendly people and they regularly host events outside of the regular classes.
CrossFitDNR was one of the hardest things to say goodbye to when leaving Fort Collins.

I was visiting Fort Collins for a few days and reached out to the DNR CrossFit email to see if I could drop in for a class. I was quickly met with a warm welcome from Kody, the owner, who scheduled me for the first slot I asked for as a drop in session the same afternoon. Annie, the coach who led my session, was great about adjusting the workout for me since I was new to CrossFit, while still ensuring I felt the productive strain from a good workout. :) I was just in town for my fiancé's work trip, but if we end up moving to the area in the future, I'll definitely become a member at this gym. It's clearly a labor of love and a strong community of people with different athletic abilities but with the same goal of getting stronger and healthier.

I'm pretty new to CrossFit. I was going to another gym in town that was not near as clean and friendly. I'm finally starting to feel confident and strong in my body again after 2 years of having my first kid. The other day I was doing squats and increased my weight by 5lbs from last time. I was nervous and not sure I could do all the reps. Next thing I know, the entire class is standing all around me cheering me on and supporting me. I did all 5 reps! I'm so excited to find such a fun, inspiring place to be a part of! For me, CrossFit seemed intimidating, but I have yet to meet anyone self-centered or egotistical. All the coaches care about your longevity and safety first. The owners of the gym are awesome!

I can’t say enough about my time at CF DNR. Really thoughtful programming along with knowledgeable coaches should make this your first, and last, stop for fitness in Fort Collins. The facility is always clean (except when Kody kicks over a chalk bucket 😉) and the equipment is first-rate.

My journey at CrossFitDNR has been absolutely incredible from start to finish. As a newcomer to CrossFit, I was warmly welcomed into the gym and guided through the fundamental classes, which provided me with a strong foundation to build upon. After just a month of fundamentals, I seamlessly transitioned into the regular CrossFit classes and continued to be amazed by the exceptional experience provided by CrossFitDNR.
The coaches at CrossFitDNR are truly outstanding. They possess a wealth of knowledge and expertise, and their dedication to ensuring proper form and technique is unmatched. I always felt supported and motivated as they patiently guided me through the workouts, answering any questions I had along the way. Their commitment to my progress and safety was evident, and it made all the difference in my training.
One of the standout features of CrossFitDNR is the remarkable sense of community that permeates throughout the gym. The members and staff create an environment that is inclusive, supportive, and inspiring. I've met incredible individuals who have become friends and have pushed me to surpass my own expectations. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned athlete, you'll find a welcoming and encouraging community at CrossFitDNR.
As much as it saddens me to say, I will soon be moving to another state. However, I cannot leave without expressing my heartfelt gratitude to CrossFitDNR for the extraordinary experience I've had. I wholeheartedly recommend this gym to anyone looking to embark on a CrossFit journey or seeking a supportive fitness community. CrossFitDNR offers knowledgeable coaches, challenging workouts, and an empowering atmosphere that will help you achieve your fitness goals.
My time at CrossFitDNR has been nothing short of remarkable. The exceptional coaching, invigorating workouts, and welcoming community make it a gym I would highly recommend. Thank you, CrossFitDNR, for providing me with an unforgettable CrossFit experience.

CrossFit DNR is an amazing place to go if you're looking for a gym family that is supportive and will help you become the best version of yourself.
I have had the pleasure of working with Kody, Kyle, David, Dallas, Reagan, and Tyler duringy time at CrossFit DNR. Every single one of them is supportive, funny, non judgemental, and kind. Every coach there knows what they are doing and will demonstrate to make sure you are prioritizing form over weight.
I had the pleasure of working out with the 7:20pm class and I can honestly say they are some the kindest and most supportive people I've gotten to know. If you are looking for a lifestyle change, go to CrossFit DNR and you will find where you belong!

Crossfit DNR is an outstanding gym! When I moved, I had certain qualities in what I was looking for in a CrossFit gym and DNR exceeded them by far.
The owners/brothers, Kody & Kyle are two awesome, genuine, and passionate guys that truly want you to succeed. Getting set up was smooth sailing because of how organized they are and both of them made me feel welcomed right away. On separate occasions, they both asked about my CrossFit history or any previous injuries when I first joined. This is just one example of their attention to detail and how serious they take safety.
The coaches are highly trained & knowledgeable as well. Plus they all have a great sense of humor which always made it a fun environment. Coach Ana was always encouraging, helpful, and brought great energy to the class!!
Every coach was very attentive to form and doing movements properly. I was always so appreciative of the fact they would correct me if something was done incorrectly. They are huge on not sacrificing form or technique for the sake of a PR or RX. Additionally, the mobility that is included daily into the workout hour is another clear reflection of how much they care about keeping athletes well.
I’m very grateful for the time and experience I had at CrossFit DNR and even though I was only there for about a year, this gym felt like home and was always a place I looked forward to going to. I’ll miss a lot of things about Fort Collins, but DNR is definitely the #1 thing. I couldn’t recommend this gym enough!

This was the best gym I've ever gone to. I got in much better shape while I was here and I loved every second of it. I felt like part of the community on day 1. There are also a lot of events put on by the owners so that folks who routinely go at different times can meet each other. The equipment and the space is always well taken care of and the programming is challenging, fun, and effective. All the coaches are knowledgeable, have their own unique strengths, are frickin' cool and are just great people. The owner loves to make sick shirts if you're into cool gym swag. This gym is amazing! I've been to a few here it's seriously the best CrossFit gym in this area. It's so much fun and the workouts and programming are so effective and the coaches are all so nice and inclusive and knowledgeable and they help with adjustments and correcting form when it's off which is huge because sometimes coaches don't do that and then people get hurt which is really bad but these coaches are all really knowledgeable about proper form and will speak up! Such a great community with lots of fun community events, I wish I didn't have to move because I love this gym so much. If you're looking for a CrossFit gym this is the one to go to.

The first thing I noticed about this gym is how clean it is every day. I've been to several gyms here in Fort Collins over the last 10 years, and this is by far the "best kept" in town. The equipment is in great shape, plentiful, and consistently serviced. Beyond that, the programming is extremely challenging, yet very adaptive to all ability levels. I consider myself an experienced cross fitter, and couldn't believe how much more challenging the programming was compared to my previous crossfit gym. The athletes and coaches at this gym immediately pushed me to a level my previous gym was not able to. I would recommend this gym to all levels, from first time to experienced, as they are well suited for everyone. It was tough to leave the comfort of the gym I had gone to for a long period of time. My only regret is not switching to DNR long before I did.

Can. Not. Recommend. This. Gym. Enough.
I was very against the idea of Crossfit for so long (bias about Crossfitters not caring about form, etc.). Everyone at Crossfit DNR showed me what Crossfit is truly about. The coaches pay incredible attention to detail with form, and have shown me ways to improve my mobility, strength, endurance, and as result, I have done a complete 180 in my views about Crossfit (basically an addict now). In fact, I would say I was humbled (let's be honest, I thought I was decently in shape before and knew better than the coaches about some things... first metcon I realized I had a lot of work to do, lessons to learn, and an ego to majorly check). The coaches (and members) are some of the most welcoming, encouraging, and attentive people you'll ever meet. I've found my "Crossfit home", and will forever use it as the standard to which I compare other Crossfit gyms. My only wish is that my job wasn't in Boulder and was instead closer to Fort Collins so I wasn't only coming here 1-2 days a week!

So here’s my story and why DNR is by far the most professional, highly-trained and educated gym for anyone and everyone. I know it might be long but Crossfit DNR is much more than just a 5 star review.
I didn’t play any sports as a kid, and cheated in gym class because I hated working out. I went to college and undoubtedly gained 50lbs, but started going to the rec regularly. I graduated college and did the 24 hour/Raintree Athletic gym ordeal and attempted to stay consistent in my workouts but continued gaining weight. I always heard about Crossfit but I thought it was for really fit, athletic people who lived and breathed gym life. About two years ago, and at my heaviest - I joined a different Crossfit gym after much encouragement. It was decent - the coaches were nice, but there was something off. I always felt tense, because the other woman/girls were too competitive and judgy and I was just a beginner who knew nothing at all about anything. The workouts were fine but I couldn’t go to a gym where I was trying to improve myself but leaving feeling worse off every time. So I tried every single Crossfit gym in the city limits of Fort Collins. There were some good gyms, some bigger than others, but it wasn’t until I picked Crossfit DNR that everything I knew about Crossfit changed. There are two brothers that own and run the gym and they are the most intelligible, dedicated, passionate, respectful and such organized individuals that I was sold. The equipment was treated well, the members of the gym were kind, they had good lighting/clean bathrooms/clean gym and were kind to every single person who walked in their door. In my time there, I lost 30 lbs, gained so much strength and built confidence in myself that I had no idea existed. The brothers, Kody and Kyle are the coolest guys - they are so passionate and skilled at what they do, they emphasize treating your body well, stretching and mobility as well as proper form which was so important to me. They took so much time out of every class to work with me one on one because I suck at Crossfit - but they never gave up on me. I worked with them for a short time for personal training, and they took me reaching my goals more seriously than I thought possible. I was also mind blown by how phenomenal the female coaches were - they are by far the coolest, most humble women I had ever met in my life. Specifically, coach Marie is one of the biggest reasons I continued to push myself in Crossfit. She was encouraging, motivating and so humble that was never a moment in my mind that I felt competition with her - and she’s the strongest, best athlete I have ever met. She, as a woman, could have used her strength and skill to intimidate other woman, but instead she uses it to teach, relate, and encourage others - she has the kindest heart! I am writing this all in a review, because I use to be the girl who would sit at home on Instagram eating chips and queso praying for a body that I didn’t want to work for and judging Crossfit for things that were all lies. I was and still am a beginner, but joining Crossfit DNR was by far the best decision I have ever made. I wasn’t even super close with anyone at the gym as I kept to myself most of the time, but just being there felt like family. Crossfit DNR is truly one in a million - you have trained coaches who will take an overweight/not athletic person and treat them like an athlete. They will take an athlete and make them a professional. They will help you reach your goals, big or small, physical or mental. They will encourage you, they provide resources to maintain proper nutrition, if you so choose to hang out outside of the gym they have built a great community to be involved in, and they have created an environment where anyone, of all levels in life, can be in the same room together struggling through the same workout. If you are unsure about Crossfit, just drop in and do one class. If you are unsure about what gym in Fort Collins, take my word that you will be thankful that you joined DNR. There is truly no better gym out there.

They start all new athletes with a solid 3 week foundations + intro class, making sure people get their movement patterns down, become aware of mobilty issues, etc. The coaches' attention to form is remarkable, and I have definitely heard advice around dropping weight and improving form for all sorts of athletes, whereas nobody pushes anybody to go heavier. The community within the gym is outstanding, full of mutual encouragement, advice, cheering for each other, and friendships beyond the gym. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
