I’ve been a member at four or five CF gyms going back more than 10 years. I’ve always been impressed with how consistently good CF coaches are. But CF Longmont coaches are even a notch or two above the best CF coaches I’ve worked with in the past. They’re always fully engaged with the class. They never assume everybody already knows how to do a movement. They’re alway looking to improve everyone’s technique and fitness and above all, prevent injury. And they do all that while making it fun for beginners and veterans alike. Oh, and the facility is always clean and the equipment is plentiful and well maintained. I really can’t say enough…

Started about 3 weeks ago and was nervous about beginning a new style of work out with many lifts I’ve never done. The coach’s were very informative and supportive which helped with my nerves. If you are looking to try CrossFit but are nervous this is a great gym to test and see if it’s for you. Everyone’s friendly and helps you get through your workouts. I’m glad I signed up.

Best CrossFit gym in northern Colorado period. Staff and equipment is excellent. Highly recommend to both those that are new to CrossFit and people that can RX every workout. There is something for everyone. Another thing that makes this gym exceptional is how everyone is part of a community. You really feel like you're working out with your friends. There are regular hikes, taco nights, holiday parties, and other social events. It's really a great place. Typically make my workout is the best part of my day.

CrossFit Longmont is awesome! After Covid I did CF-esque workouts at home (with really good/equivalent equipment) but decided I needed to come back to an actual gym. So glad I did! Noticeable results after just 2 months with the same number of workouts a week. Coaches, programming, and community are amazing! Love it!!

What can I say about CFL? I've been a member since 2023 after starting Crossfit in California back in 2020. My lifts have improved a ton, not just in strength but also in technique. I am constantly challenging myself into a better athlete and being supported by the coaching team. It's a testament to their great knowledge that I was able to workout throughout my whole pregnancy (I did a workout in the morning and got induced at night) and come back even stronger. Many thanks to Kris, Crystie, Will, Zac, Sarah, CoPo, Ian, Matt W and Kerry. Y'all have built a community that encourages all of us to be better.

I’ve been a member of CrossFit Longmont for a few months, and a long time CrossFit member (2013) before that. I have been so impressed with my experience at this box! I was immediately welcomed into the community by other members - it’s actually part of the house rules to introduce yourself to new people! There have been several social events since I joined as well, making it easy to make friends. The coaching is top notch and well suited for athletes of all fitness levels. The gym is clean and well taken care of by all members. If you’re looking for a new CrossFit gym or are curious about the sport, I highly recommend CrossFit Longmont!

Joining CrossFit Longmont has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself. I’m loving CrossFit more than I ever expected to. I love that the workouts are totally scalable—so no matter your fitness level, you can do it—and yet they’ll always kick your butt in the best way.
One of my favorite things is that there’s always something to work on and improve. I thought I would hate the Olympic lifting, but I’ve actually loved it. There's something so empowering about lifting more weight than I ever thought possible—it makes me feel incredibly strong.
I also really appreciate that this gym requires three fundamentals classes before you jump into regular classes. At first, I wasn’t thrilled—I was eager to dive right in—but I ended up finding them super helpful. Most other gyms don’t take the time to do this, and it really sets you up for success.
And maybe most importantly, the community here is amazing. The support I’ve felt from the coaches and other athletes has been incredible. It’s filled a hole in my life that I didn’t even know was there.
If you’re considering trying CrossFit, I can’t recommend CrossFit Longmont enough.

I wanted to share a bit about my journey and express my sincere gratitude to Kris at Crossfit Longmont.
Battling two types of cancer, including the rare and aggressive Merkel Cell, has been a challenging experience. The immunotherapy and chemotherapy treatments, while necessary, took a significant toll on my physical health, particularly my muscle mass.
I'm incredibly fortunate to have found Kris. Her expertise and guidance have been invaluable. Thanks to her personalized training, I've not only regained lost weight but also significantly increased my muscle mass.
Recently, I faced another hurdle: sciatic nerve pain. Traditional physical therapy wasn't effective, but Kris was able to alleviate the pain in just one hour. She truly is my lifesaver and my earth angel.
I couldn't have come this far without her support. Thank you, Kris!

Love everything about this place. Day 1 it was like family. I've been doing Crossfit for years at many boxes and community is always good but CFL is even a cut above an already high bar. The facility is large and open, and there's a rig outside as well.
Did I mention that the coaches are AMAZING? They are great from a technical perspective but also very approachable and tailoring to each individual athlete. I brought my 13 y/o daughter and she is really thriving here, thanks to the great coaches.

I love going to CFL. I have never done CrossFit and I started coming here about a year ago. I love the coaches and the community - anyone at any level can come here and get results and we have SOOOO much fun. Its a great combination of lifting as well as a lot of cardio and more technical movements. The coaches are all very knowledgeable and supportive and are happy to offer modifications. The class size is generally small so lots of 1:1 coaching and attention for people who want/need it. Highly recommend CFL to anyone no matter what level they are at!

CrossFit Longmont has become a second home to me in the 2 and a half years I’ve been here. The coaches are extremely supportive, knowledgeable, humorous and welcoming. The gym is always very organized and clean as well. The owner, Anjali, is so kind and fun to workout with. Along with all of the other athletes, I have made such great friends here.
One of my favorite parts about this gym is all of the opportunities to connect outside of the workouts. From lake parties to Taco Tuesdays and the instagram community group chat. I also enjoy the yoga class that is free with the unlimited membership.
I don’t think I will ever find another gym that radiates such a sense of unity and friendship.

It's been almost 12 weeks since I started my Crossfit journey at Crossfit Longmont.
This is an excellent place to start if you are new to Crossfit like me.
I took a free intro class followed by three weeks of foundation class with amazing Coach Crystie.
All the coaches have been friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and provided excellent instructions.
Crossfit training for as little as 12 weeks causes significant improvements in both muscle strength and aerobic fitness. Also resulting in reduction in body fat percentage and increase in muscle mass.
I can't say enough about the amazing community environment that is super welcoming and supports each other like a family.
I forgot to mention the flexible classes and open gym hours. The classes are structured perfectly.
The facility is clean and well-maintained.
I feel very proud of myself that I have been able to accomplish and see great progress in my fitness and strength.
Highly recommend Crossfit Longmont to anyone looking to get stronger, healthier, and happier.

This is a really wonderful place to train. The people who work here really take care of the community and of individuals. There's a nice balance between pushing for more and yet meeting people where they're at. Which means, for me, that I can grow, but I am not over-pushed. The community here is really great, very supportive. I can feel that one of most important aspects of the culture of CrossFit Longmont is inclusion and support, which has been great for me as I progress. The gym is nice, big, clean. The workouts are fun and also challenging, wit really good variety. ALL of the coaches are amazing.

Crossfit Longmont is a superior Crossfit gym. The coaches all have great training, credentials, and experience. They are always willing to help you improve your weaknesses and excel with your strengths. While maintaining a safe and encouraging environment for all athletes.
The training is varied, with an overall focus on "general functional fitness" for every level of training and experience.
There is a great sense of community and awesome additional activities, parties, runs, hikes, and mountain expeditions among them.
Added Feb 8, 2022: Google asked me if my review had changed and everything I wrote earlier still applies. If anything, the gym has improved. I've continued to be a member (since 2015) and am still very happy with the training and the community.

They train and coach together showing by doing. There is nothing the coaches will tell the boys to do that they won't do themselves.

Sadly, I was only able to workout here for a few months as I unexpectedly moved at the end of August.
I've been involved in CrossFit for over 8 years in various cities and can confidently say that this is one of the best.
The community of people are very kind and welcoming. The programming is very well rounded, including a fair amount of strength work, mobility and classic CrossFit style workouts.
The coaching is absolutely superb. In addition to expertly training the huge variety of standard CrossFit exercises, they always observe the class participants closely providing encouragement and making sure everyone is staying safe and keeping good form. Awesome place for sure!

I joined Crossfit Longmont two months ago. Sports do not come natural to me so I walked in with a whole lot of "can I do this?". Coach Zach G taught almost my entire first month of foundations and he was so good at showing me all the movements while encouraging me along the way. Month two I jumped into the 6am class, the people in this class are SO talented and so friendly. Many of them have done Crossfit for 3+ years but I never felt less than. Unfortunately due to a family emergency we are having to move from Longmont, but had we still been living here I would definitely keep going! Coming from a girl who joined Crossfit to find a sport she loves, lose weight, and meet some great people - I HIGHLY encourage you to take the leap and try out Crossfit Longmont. After a while...you'll be glad you did, hehe.

I've been a part of the Longmont CrossFit community for almost five years. The family here keeps you going, keeps you moving, and makes you fit. Recently I had both knees replaced (full replacements), so am not back in the box for WODs, but am taking full advantage of CrossFit Longmont Yoga. There's five classes a week to choose from, and unlimited access for $39.99 can't be beat in Longmont! Yoga is part of my new normal, and I'm so glad to be recovering and getting strong again at CFL!

I've been with CFL for about 3+ years now. Sure, the workouts are tough as hell sometimes. They're always worth it. Today I walked in after a break (due mostly to inertia). Sarge (owner) saw I was feeling pretty depressed. He made a special point to chat me up and make sure my head is screwed on straight. I realized then what keeps me going back to CFL, it's the community. It's not the crazy, fitness nuts kind of environment you get portrayed in the Crossfit stereotype. It's a community of really cool people who come together to help each other achieve fitness goals as well have a good time together. Sarge has put together a really special place that serves not only as a gym, but a sanctuary from all of the crap that life throws at you. It's a great place to recharge and clear all of the junk out of your head, as well as your body.

Fantastic experience overall. Sarge is a great person with a lot of enthusiasm for crossfit and dynamic movements. The trainers that I have had the pleasure of working with, Adam/Zach/Savannah, have a wealth of knowledge. They are diligent on making this the safest place to workout. Taking their foundations course, I have found that even a seasoned athlete makes mistakes and having these guys watch me makes me feel a heck of a lot better about my form. I highly recommend Crossfit Longmont for all levels of athletic activity from beginner to the most experienced.

I can't believe I'm saying this: I LOVE working out with Crossfit Longmont! I am the guy who's never been athletic, hates exercise, loves sitting on my couch with Star Trek reruns, a beer and potato chips... I am NOT some fitness freak like I expected to find here. Lo and behold, it's mostly normal people finding themselves doing extraordinary things and getting great results. The coaches push me much harder than I'd ever push myself, but at the same time are lightning fast to stop me the moment I'm doing something wrong, help me get it right so I don't risk injury, and make sure I'm keeping it fun all the time. I'm not sure how or when it happened, but now I'm actually enthused to go work out! I say to everyone "Give it a try, you'll be glad you did!"
