I was really nervous about joining CrossFit. But after meeting Abby and Mike the whole team really! They really made me feel welcome! It’s scary and also hard to know where I fit in being a transgender woman. But after my first few sessions with Mike and Abby there were people from the CrossFit train community and people were friendly and welcoming shaking my hand and saying hello! I knew I would fit in here after that I feel like I belong and it feels good to know yogi have great coaches who have your back! And who actually really care about who you are as a person and for that I am really grateful thank you to the whole team at CrossFit train I’m excited to be apart of the community!!!!

Best gym of any kind, CrossFit or otherwise, that I’ve used in the Denver metro area. Staff is fantastic and they prioritize safety and long term growth. I really feel like I get what they pay for. They have a shower facility which makes it easier for me to get a workout before work. A little more expensive than some CrossFit gyms in the area, but worth every penny.

I have belonged to several crossfit gyms over the years and Train is by far the best.
The gym is big with plenty of space for larger classes.
The coaches are extremely welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. They will encourage you and challenge you which is why we are all in crossfit.
I learned new skills in this gym and am grateful for what they do for all the patrons but also the community. They are constantly sponsoring community and charity events.

Omg, amazing box! We did a drop in during a weekend in Denver and we were welcomed right from the door by the coach. He knew our names and made us feel part of the family. The workout was tough but amazing. The coach gave really good tips that helped me improve my technique. All the members were very friendly! Would recommend!

I had a really disappointing experience at this CrossFit gym. Before even being allowed to join classes, I was required to pay $300 for what they called “personal training” sessions—basically a costly “tryout” because I didn’t look fit enough by their standards.
They market themselves as being different and better than other gyms, but in reality, they were inflexible with scheduling, openly bad-mouthed other local gyms, and pushed the idea that only they had the “right” approach. The supposed inclusivity they advertise only applies if you already meet their narrow image of what fit looks like.
It’s frustrating that a people-focused business would show so little respect for the individual goals and starting points of its clients. Overall, they felt less welcoming and less professional than other CrossFit gyms I’ve tried—and I regret spending the money to find that out.

CrossFit Train is hands down one of the best gyms I’ve ever been a member at. The workouts are consistently great — always challenging and well thought out — but it’s the community that really sets this place apart. The people here are welcoming, supportive, and genuinely fun to be around.
The coaches bring amazing energy every day. They’re encouraging, knowledgeable, and always willing to help you push yourself safely. If you’re dealing with an injury or need modifications, they’re more than happy to adjust the workout without making you feel like you're missing out.

My buddy got me to join him for a "bring a friend week" and I couldn't be happier to sign up afterwards! I haven't worked out at a gym in years, and was a bit nervous to join a crossfit gym to restart my health journey. However this was exactly the atmosphere I was looking for. It's an awesome community of like-minded people who support eachother on your progress and capabilities. There are people from all walks of life with different backgrounds and age groups, not just a bunch of muscle-heads that only care about themselves. The structured classes make it easy to just show up, and get your sweat on. The coaches are amazing, and ready to help you reach your goals no matter your experience, capabilities, or limitations.

Crossfit Train is a five-star gym all around. The programming is fun and varied (includes traditional CrossFit as well as a barbell club and endurance-focused class), the environment/community is warm and welcoming, and best of all the coaches are top notch. One of the best Crossfit Gym's I've ever trained at in my 10+ years of doing Crossfit. The coaches are beyond incredible, extremely attentive, and supportive. They regularly check in on how ones body is doing and how we your doing in our day to day life. They also hammer in the fundamentals no matter what skill level your at. The path to CrossFit Train started with a ton of hopes mixed with a good amount of anxiety. CrossFit Train meets you where you stand on your fitness journey. Abby’s foundational classes were incredible, helping a COMPLETE novice to strength training (like me) launch into the regular classes so I could continue to level up my fitness. All the CrossFit Train coaches have been true masters of their craft, the other members have been really welcoming to a newcomer like me, and the workouts have left me sore muscles but wanting more.

I was in town for work for a week and dropped into CrossFit Train for a quick workout. As someone who has done CrossFit for 10 years and done my fair share of drop-ins, this gym was by far my favorite spot. I immediately felt welcomed by the coaching staff, was oriented to the gym space and asked about any injuries or other specific needs. Other members introduced themselves, putting all social anxiety quickly at ease! As a queer and trans person I was also heartened to see pride flags hanging prominently. Brooke’s passion and commitment to community and longevity of movement through fitness was evident in just the first few minutes of class. 10/10 would drop in again :)

All the coaches know your name the minute you walk in on your first day. People get excited to see new members by the end of the first week you’ll feel like you’ve been there for years. Updating my review because I have more great things to say about the team and experience at CrossFit Train!
I have been working out at Train for nearly two years now and I love the owner Brooke, the coaching staff, and my fellow members. The community spirit is amazing and I always feel OK about exactly where I am on any given day. I used to think CrossFit was too hardcore/not for me/only for people interested in dragging tractor tires around by their teeth, but no more! The workout is great, and I love challenging myself to do things I never thought I could do.
Brooke and her team always strike the right balance between being safe and pushing me beyond my comfort zone. Their ability to make a group class like a personal training session is phenomenal. As an “aging athlete” 🤣 I am no longer in it to win it, but for the long haul — I just want to FEEL healthy and strong (but I won’t say that I don’t love the fact that I LOOK healthy and strong, too)!
If you’re looking for a gym to call home, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CrossFit Train!

As I just left my second to last WOD at Train, I'm reflecting on the past almost 2 years. I had Crossfit experience coming in, but I was SUPER intimidated by the fact that everyone was already really fit, and I consider myself more of a chonky athlete. I'm SO GLAD Brooke convinced me to join anyways. All the athletes were so friendly and outgoing, and I really loved that everyone cheers you on until the last person finishes!
On a personal level, I also utilized personal training services and Bod Squad! From moving to Chicago to Colorado, I had lost 27 pounds and increased PR's on all Oly movements (yes, even my squat snatch that I'm still trying to crack 100 lbs). I've trained with both Coach Jimmy and Abby, where I accomplished my lifelong goal of getting a pull-up, and even stringing 3 together!
Now that I'm 6 months pregnant, all coaches have done a great job helping me scale movements appropriate, and really care about making sure I'm still challenging myself on each WOD. I'm really going to miss my gym fam, and the life changing people I've met here :-(

This gym has been one of my favorite CrossFit gyms I’ve been to. The coaches are very knowledgeable, know how to modify movements, and are inclusive to athletes of all levels. The warm ups are very extensive to help avoid injuries, and going through the burgener warm ups are so helpful to understand the mechanics of each movement. Definitely a gym I recommend to anyone!

This is the best CrossFit Gym I've ever been a memeber at! The coaching staff is incredibly caring and makes sure you are taken care of. The community is welcoming regardless of your level or fitness goals. They also host kids/teens classes that my kids now 9 and 11 thrive in. The teen class has been a great addition to conditioning the kids for the other sports they play. Teaching them proper technique and agility keeping them safe on the feild or ice. Our kiddo has really enjoyed the kids classes here! Coach Abby is wonderful. She is friendly, organized, encouraging and engaging. The kids are do a lot of different moves and exercises to improve strength, agility, body awareness and general athleticism. If you are pregnant, looking to get pregnant, postpartum, have kids or don’t… THIS IS THE GYM FOR YOU. I now have a 6 month old son and have truly never felt so much love and support throughout my pregnancy and postpartum journey than by the Train community. The coaches make things feel so personal, they will scale and modify your workouts to meet you where you’re at and they text you to check in on how you’re doing. They know you by name and always follow up. They genuinely care and are your biggest supporters and motivators! It’s family at Train, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. Not to mentioned the gym is owned by a badass, strong woman who programs amazing workouts and makes time to get to know everyone. Come hang!!

I joined Train in 2022 very much apprehensive of Crossfit and the culture. You know the typical stereotypes "Why olympic lifts? Don't people call it cult? Aren't people always getting injured?"
Train and their wonderful coaches Brooke, Abby, Jimmy, Eric, Lani, and Andre quickly made me forget that apprehensiveness dispelled those silly stereotypes, and have helped me transform into a more physically and mentally fit individual. I'm thrilled to have found a gym that has created a culture worth showing up to week in and week out.
Over time other members have become friends, I've increased all of my lifts, created better habits, and participated in wonderful community events whether it's helping a non profit or rallying around other members in a time of need. Stop down and check it out. Don't be like me and regret not joining sooner.

Being in class at Train before or after work is by far the best part of my day.
I joined around September 2023 because I could not get the intensity I wanted from simple strength training and running. What I received was and continues to be so much more.
I joined after doing a ‘no sweat intro’ with the owner, Brooke. She asked all the right questions and explained the vision of the gym. I joined because I believed her motivations as the affiliate owner, and I was drawn to the way she spoke about her community of members.
Since being a member, I’ve found everything she said to be true, and more.
The other members are friendly, encouraging, and genuine during conversation. It doesn’t matter your size, strength, height, or endurance level. Everyone is there to become a better version of themselves than they were yesterday. There is a real connection in the community and you get from it what you give to it.
I have been the first to finish workouts, the last, and failed to complete in the allotted time - regardless of those results, other members and coaches are there to cheer and provide support. The focus is personal growth and not comparison to others.
Finally, coaches bring their dogs in occasionally and it just makes everything even a bit better.
10/10 would recommend

Joined the gym almost a year ago and have loved it ever since! I've never had coaches that are so attentive to each individual in a class; they all know everyone's names and not only take the time to make sure everyone is prepared for the workouts but also genuinely care about people's lives outside the gym. As someone who was new to the area and looking to meet people, I couldn't have asked for a better community that pushes me to do my best every day and is also so welcoming and kind to anyone that walks through the door.

I like the coaching at Train. I like how they give corrections for each workout and come around to scale when appropriate. I also appreciate the attention they show to injuries when helping you modify the workout. CrossFit is strenuous, and it's easy to overdo it, but it's really fun when you work in your wheelhouse, and the coaches help you do just that.

Most often you join a gym because of the workout. But you stay for the community. This place delivers both and more. Crossfit often gets a bad rap because people complain they get hurt. But it’s all in how you train and the knowledge of the coaches to train you properly. The team at Crossfit Train go through extensive training and apprenticeship to meticulously coach movement, strategy and body awareness so that you as an individual can workout at your ability level. All abilities are welcome here and a plan is put in place for you individually to help you reach your goals. The icing on the cake is the community you gain by becoming a member here. I seldom write reviews but this gym deserves more stars than I can give and I have attended here since they opened many years ago

Train truly cares about its members. You will receive personalized coaching on every movement and workout that you just don’t get at most gyms. Although nervous to join such a new, intense fitness training community, CrossFit Train of Denver has COMPLETELY exceeded any expectation I could have had. The coaches push and support each athlete's personal growth journey and strive to be coaches, mentors, and friends to everyone. I never knew sweating could be so much fun with this crew. The amount of time and energy spent on each member is truly amazing and it shows in way of results- Physical and mental. I love this gym so much! Train is the first CrossFit gym I tried and I joined a few days after my trial class. Soon after, all gyms shut down due to COVID-19 and the coaching staff did such a phenomenal job of creating at home workouts, giving us equipment to take home, and keeping us engaged through team and individual challenges until we were able to get back to our space. I can't say enough about how much the coaches have already helped improve my form and confidence in the gym. My favorite thing though is the community - I think it's rare to find a gym where the culture is truly driven by everyone who attends. There isn't a gap between the coaches standards and the members -- the values are an equal responsibility and I feel incredibly lucky to have found these people!

I left a review almost a year ago when I was still newer to CrossFit. Now, it's been almost 2 years, and so much has happened and so much has changed. We are a new gym! Train_Denver kept me healthy and sane while the world has been a dumpster fire the past several months. The gym remained dedicated to providing equipment rentals, daily workouts, access to coaching, zoom connects, events and team competitions, mental health, and yoga through it all. It was definitely different, but it worked! I am happy to be back in the box, and looking forward to what this amazing community will do together as we move forward!

I've been doing CrossFit for over 5 years, and CrossFit Train is hands down the best box I've been to. When looking for a new box earlier this year, my top priority was coaches that care about form. I've been to the other places that pushed me to go too heavy or too fast, and I ended up injured. Train coaches take the time to get to know, your goals, and your abilities, and then coach you appropriately. In addition, the community is second-to-none. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

I've been a member at three crossfit gyms and this one is the best. All the coaches are professional, enthusiastic and ready to help you. Brooke the head coach is a former NCAA soccer champ and is an incredible athlete to a level I didnt know was possible. The equipment is good quality, never run out or weights or jump ropes, class sizes never get too big and the members are very diverse. Not really a meathead gym. The coaches make sure we keep track of your WOD score and progress. They have a kids play area, shower, hand washing stations, counter beads, little whiteboards and one of the coaches is a dietitian which are nice perks. The price is cheaper than most other gyms too. People sometimes freak out about injuries with crossfit but I only got injured once during the past year and it was due to bad posture at my desk job.

I don’t have enough amazing things to say about my experience at Train so far. This is the fourth box I’ve ever trained at and by far my favorite. I’m lifting more in three months at train than I have before and my form has improved significantly. The coaches critique and encourage in a way that leaves me feeling confident which is something I’ve struggled with before because I’m definitely no where near the strongest at the gym. The community there is also incredible which is such a relief when moving to a new city. It’s a great place for beginners to start out or for more experienced folk to fine tune their lifts. There are a ton of gyms in Denver but I guarantee none of them are as great as Train!

I joined CrossFit Train over three years ago. I had no knowledge of what crossfit entailed, only thinking I wanted to increase my upper body strength and didn't want to become "frumpy". Little did I know how joining this box would transform me both as an athlete and a person. I’ve been a member at 4 different CrossFit gyms in Denver over the last 10 years or so. All of them have been good, though Train has been the best experience. The gym isn’t too small or too large, and the coches are genuine. It takes energy to consistently motivate and program interesting workouts month after month, and the team at Train does both. When relocating to Denver and trying to find a new Crossfit gym, I initially thought I'd make a list of nearby boxes and try them all out. Sorry bout it other gyms, cause I never tried another one out! My fiancé and I were (and still are) thoroughly impressed by the level of attention each athlete gets. In only 2 months at Train, I've lifted better and heavier than in 7 months at my previous gym. Since I get individualized scaling and help, I now attempt moves that I was previously uncomfortable with. I also feel more confident in my lifts because the class always breaks any lift down before starting (ohhh, you mean deadlifts aren't supposed to hurt your back??). In addition to the coaching, the sense of community is Train's next best asset. Everyone introduces themselves to new folks (gym rule!) and there is always someone cheering you on if you're one of the last to finish the WOD (I would know). Gym members feel more like your teammates and this is something that I haven't experienced at any of the other boxes I've been to. As a newcomer to Denver, it has been a serious luxury to stumble upon a welcoming group like Train (so that when my mom calls and asks if I've made any friends, I can earnestly give her the names of 5 people I spend 60 minutes a day with). I wish I would have had a gym this welcoming and educational when I started Crossfit last year and would 100% recommend this for any skill level. If you're looking for a place to try out Crossfit, this is it.

I love everything about CrossFit Train. Best part of my day is sweating with this amazing community of athletes. I’ve grown more as a person and athlete than I feel I ever did at a traditional gym. I never considered myself an athlete before CrossFit. You definitely earn the title - with blood, sweat and tears! It’s like home away from home for me.
The coaches possess all qualities you would want. They’re funny, professional, and all-around badasses! They each have their own way of making it a fun experience while holding you accountable, pushing you, and ALWAYS being safe. The members are great, as well! I love the people I’ve met and friends I’ve made. It’s more than a workout, it’s an experience.

I just cannot stress how much I LOVE working out now! I've been at Crossfit Train almost 6 months and it really has changed my life. A work friend encouraged me to try and free class and I signed up that day. Brooke and the other coaches are amazing and I feel challenged yet safe during the workouts. The community is amazing and it's the friends you make there that push you to go back day after day and cheer you on right to the finish. I love Crossfit Train! I've been a member here for almost a year and came from another Crossfit gym where I spent several years. The best thing about this place is the amazing and supportive community. Everyone is so encouraging and welcoming and it is always fun to spend an hour with the crew. The coaches are obviously skilled at what they do and scale movements or reps as needed, so any ability level will get a good workout no matter what. I have always enjoyed weightlifting and running but had never tried Crossfit. Being my curious self, when my wife began her Crossfit journey, I started doing some research to see what this was really all about and wound up trying it for myself.
One reference stated, " the best way to begin CrossFit is with a great trainer who uses his or her vast experience to guide you through the various phases of your fitness quest."
That being said, I believe that Brooke and her team at CrossFit Train Denver have done just that; provided a great culture and environment to grow your fitness level, irrespective of where you are now physically or mentally. Anyone has the capacity to engage in Crossfit. Brooke is a badass CrossFit trainer and at the top of her game, which reflects her commitment to and passion for what CrossFit offers, both for beginners and competitors. She is specific in her instructions for workouts and demonstrates each functional movement with skill, explaining what she wants to see vs. the “wrong” way, and why. One of the things I appreciate most is that Brooke recognizes where her members are at physically, and will modify the workout accordingly. In my case, this is pretty constant, but Brooke has a keen sense of being able to push my limits without overextending my abilities. She always keeps a watchful eye on every member during the WOD, providing feedback on improving form, if needed, and constant encouragement. As a result, I am more fit than I probably ever have been. Another factor I enjoy is the community that Brooke creates within her box, developing a camaraderie and “family” within, so I always feel welcome and supported. I have been with CrossFit Train for about 5 months now, and I love it. At first I was hesitant about going as there are so many "stereotypes" about CrossFit, however, CrossFit Train proved them all wrong! When I started I could barley run down the street, the thoughts of weights frightened me, and I never knew if I could compete.
Brooke and the other coaches do a fantastic job at making sure you are working at your comfort level. In fact, you don't even pick up weights until they feel confident you understand the movements. Although in a class setting, they truly pay attention to everyone individually and coach you to your best. In addition, everyone at the box is amazing. I have made so many friends here at CrossFit Train and the community is perfect. Some days I am the first person done and I get to cheer my friends on, and other days I am the last and everyone is cheering me on!
