Coo location , lots of parking .
Pretty limited on what you can do here weight room wise. Spent $15 for a day pass and decently worth it since you get access to the amenities (I don’t use those tho, and they did bait and switch me but that’s okay because I was gonna spend the $15 anyways but funny they told me it would be free day pass on phone then charged in person 🤷♂️)
Wish the area with mirrors was better for lifting
The funny thing is gyms are supposed to upsell you on a membership. They didn’t even ask me in person if I wanted to join. Seems to be a lack of culture and community here which I’ll respectfully pass on being a member here. But as I said above if a business does a bait and switch they aren’t to be trusted and don’t deserve your money.

Great facility. I’ve been all over the country. Paid for “luxury” gyms. This gentleman Maddox made my entire day. As I will be coming out to Colorado more and I was about to cancel my membership, but Maddox is the reason I’ll keep mine. Give this guy a raise and take it out of the membership I was about to cancel when I went back to Massachusetts. Friendly, knowledgeable, and just a great human. If you read this bro, keep being a positive impact. I work in the mental health field and you’ve probably turned a ton of people’s day around. Much appreciated

Every time I need to come to the gym at open they open late. I adjusted my schedule to come at 5:45 rather than 5 when they’re supposed to be open because they’re so unreliable. Currently 7 minutes after “open” and there’s a line of people at the door and a parking lot full of people waiting. They may as well give a customer access to the key box since we consistently show up more often than the people being paid to be there. You’re messing up people routines regularly and it’s crazy we never get any compensation for their inability to properly run a business.

Update: I reached out to the email after they commented on this review. They asked me when I tried cancelling my membership, I responded, they didn’t respond.
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Their sign up process and cancellation process is a joke. I was overcharged by $350 in monthly, annual, and cancellation fees. They had no record of me cancelling previously. Management ghosted me. Their billing department sent me to a third party billing service who said they’re a third party service so there’s nothing they can do. I’m just out $350.
Their equipment is okay. They were constantly out of cleaning wipes and would usually take days or even a couple weeks to restock. Their gym equipment “fixes” sometimes made the equipment worse to use.
Apparently their motto, “The only place the clients work harder than the employees” rings all too true.
Some employees were friendly and would greet you - kudos to you few! - most would ignore me and be on their phone.
I rarely leave reviews in general, but this is a much better “know before you go” situation. If you can avoid this gym, avoid it.

This Silver Sneakers member of Crunch since 2018 feels ripped off by getting only 1 of 6 paid training sessions.
Sorry if following is TL;DR
Back in late Feb, 2025, Crunch North had an offer of 12 training sessions of 30 minutes for $420. I expressed interest to “M” (acting GM at the time) in a package of 6 sessions for $210, but primarily for accountability on weight loss and personal bests. My intent was having a session every 2nd or 3rd month, for an overall duration of 12 to 18 months.
M initially said “No”. We went round and round for 15+ minutes, but he finally agreed and I paid on Feb 25, 2025.
My bad … I didn’t get the specifics in writing. I also never received any verification or contract via email.
I had my free 60 minute "Jump Start" with a relatively new trainer “J” several weeks later, mostly to have him observe the Push-Pull-Legs split I currently was doing 6x/week. The 1st of 6 sessions was 6-8+ weeks later. It went marginally ok.
Since then, J has not returned any of multiple voice messages and texts to schedule the 2nd session. I've repeatedly requested managers from "R" (GM for month or so) to M and "T" (the trainer supervisor) to change to a different trainer or a refund. Each said the equivalent of "we'll get this worked out." M and I did negotiate 2 months between sessions. I asked for a refund ($175), but that wasn’t an option.
TMI? In that same time frame, M made a (bogus?) accusation that I had had sexually harassed a former member (“nice b**bs”), which I vehemently denied … “Didn’t happen!!!”
I asked to see video confirmation, which he refused, only saying "Why would she lie?". I worried I was being set up to have my membership cancelled and remaining $175 of $210 evaporate.
FWIW: we'd previously prayed together for M to have strength to resist temptations from the "occupational hazard" of scantily clothed members.
At an Oct 11 workout, "T" mentioned that months earlier, J told T that J didn't want to be part of the accountability package I bought. I figured that explained his ignoring my attempts to schedule the 2nd thru 6th sessions. T also mentioned that training packages normally have to be completed within 90 days.
2 instead of 1 Star because: relatively new equipment, rarely crowded, and decent distance from me. Includes hydro-massage. Equipment with problems get fixed on a timely basis.

I had issues transferring and cancelling my membership here. The staff are pretty short tempered and do not do what you ask. If you think you've cancelled, follow up because they definitely don't care. Also I gave them personal documents and they say they didn't have it, they most likely lost it. They will mishandle your privacy and information.
I won't be ever going to a crunch fitness again.

I've called multiple times and spoken to the General Manager DIEGO, and he hasn't been helpful at all. Truly I've been polite up to this point even though they're robbing me. I'm going to report this business to the BBB and also dispute charges when I actually figure out how to do that. You people are the worst, I would NEVERRRR get a membership here. EVER.

This would be a five star review if they didn’t force me to bring my phone to the gym to check in or bother with giving the front desk staff my phone number. They don’t do keychain barcodes anymore and it is inconvenient. Otherwise great gym. Zoe Cruz at the front desk takes good care of you! I think they got rid of their previous crazy billing company and they have cleansing wipes that actually clean.

0500 is when this gym opens correct ? Why does it not stay consistent in that . This is my second time going at 0500 and it’s not open . You have people standing in the cold waiting on the doors to open and the employees are not there to open the building. When they do show up it is between the hours of 0515 & 0525. If that is too early for the gym to open maybe you guys should switch your hrs .

Don’t know his name but a Hispanic guy who barely spoke English basically rushed me with an attitude demanding a picture and bank info. Tried arguing with me when I let him know the website didn’t ask for one when I signed up so I won’t be giving that to him but I’ll happily take a photo. Turns out he’s fine with me not needing to give out my bank info, so Does crunch lie to people? Lying to try and get bank info is shady.
Bum rushing patrons in poor English and a lying attitude isn’t good business practice either. Maybe crunch should teach some of their employees better social skills. The trainer with long hair was cool. Nice guy. Give him a raise.

Called. Emailed even went in for 6 months trying to get my membership cancelled. Every time it was “we never received the email” or “the manager isn’t in”. Finally got ahold of the manager after pretty much having to force me way through 3 other people - to be told that “if I don’t shut up and listen he will leave me account active!” Then got hung up on. When I asked for his name the coward would just hang up. I recorded the conversation and I’ll be filing a police report for fraud. No wonder this place is in such disrepair. Poor management.

This is a very clean facility! The machines are well maintained. The hours are very robust. This is a two story building. Plenty of cardio machine and rooms for classes are mostly on the first room. Weight stations and free weights are on the second floor. They also have nice water massage machines. Digital clocks are nice! They also have a nice store area. One improvement is to have periodically have an employee go around and clean the machines by wiping them down and keeping them sanitized. EVERY gym should have that done daily where gym members can see that occurring.

I’ve been hitting this gym for about a month now, and I have to say, it’s been a game changer. The staff is awesome—shoutout to Marcus for being cool, considerate and explaining everything without making my head spin. Even during peak hours, there’s plenty of room to spread out and get a solid lift. I usually roll in after work at 6 PM and still manage to snag a good workout without dodging too many folks
The machines are crispier than a McDonalds sprite and the value for what you get is just insane. If you’re looking for a high-quality gym experience that won’t break the bank, this place is a no-brainer!

The gym was well maintained and clean, it was a little small but the machines were well maintained, the locker room was clean, and the lockers had provided locks. The only issues I ran into were it took 3 tries to find a locker that the lock mechanism worked on, and the adjustment pins on some of the machines and benches were tight, or immovable. So with a little maintenance to address those issues, it would be a 5 star location.

Gym is dirty. Equipment is old. Better to avoid the lockers rooms. Management is rude and initially refused to give me a copy of my contract I signed. He first handed me a recently signed contract with someone’s private information on it instead. When I asked for a blank copy, he was disgusted and asked “why would I want that.” I had to explain to him I was never given a hard copy of the contract because I signed over iPad.I also asked for corporates number because of ambiguous wording on contract. He said “google it”.

Marcus the manager called me "stupid" to not understand my 7 day pass was a 3 day pass. "3" or "three" was never documented anyplace on advertisement or in email after enrolling for a 7 day trial pass. I wanted a trial so I could see if the gym worked with my schedule and geographics since I am new to town.
After my first and 2nd workouts I verified before leaving how much time I had left. Last night I got called by a sales rep quoting different prices than advertised on a very clear website. Today I went in to workout and they explained I have to join today to get any promotions since it was the end of my 7 day pass. On my 3rd day.
Crunch fitness wants to direct debit bank accounts and they can't even honor their advertising. I would advise as Google AI seems to somewhat advise of many trappings of Crunch Fitness.
Besides not honoring the pass, the manager argued, called me stupid and insulted me repeatedly before I fired back. Once I stood up for myself he retreated and explained I can't talk to him like he talks to me because it his (Marcus) gym.
Crunch fitness on their main site advertises a 1 day pass. But sometimes through Google ads they offer 7 day passes. No where on the Internet could I immediately find a 3 day pass.
Crunch Fitness needs to hire people who understand the definition of a week, 7 days, and 3 days.
They also need not pressure people into joining in a manner that creates false advertising on the ads they select and pay to stream on the Internet. Violating truthfulness in these ads is a violation of Colorado Law and possibly the Terms and Conditions of their advertising with Google.
How can you trust your bank information with a company with such deceptive practices.

I had a really disappointing experience at this Crunch Gym. I signed up for a free 3-day pass because I was considering joining as a member, but when I showed up, they denied me access simply because I didn’t have a Colorado ID. My mother lives here and I'm in college and this is where I live outside of college. I don't have a Colorado licenseim not initially from here—how does that disqualify me from using a free trial pass?
To make it worse, after turning me away, they had the nerve to try and charge me instead. It felt like a bait-and-switch. If you’re going to offer a 3-day pass, make it clear upfront that you have these restrictions instead of wasting people’s time.
Definitely not a good first impression. I’ll be looking elsewhere for a gym that’s more honest and welcoming.

This company/branch is openly engaging in fraud at a remarkable scale. Do your due diligence and look up their business profile in BBB. They are, unbeknownst to members, charging duplicate membership accounts and fraudulently extracting funds from ACH/debit transfers even months after contract termination. Their response to this is 'oh that's not our facility, it's fraud from a different source/party'. Management will dodge you at every step of the way once you realize what's going on, and will try to continuously charge from whatever available financial information they can find - they tried side stepping ACH blocks with different merchant IDs and by charging through debit cards.
I am now working with an attorney to initiate a civil litigation suit for fraudulent business practices and theft. If this has happened to you, seek legal action immediately against these criminals.

Gym is ok but run down. However if you have any billing issues the staff will not help you out at all. I’m sad to say that this gym is really not worth it. I’ve come for about a month now, and in that month, the condition of the men’s locker room has deteriorated significantly. I went in today and there was trash, including used q-tips, random trash, and dirt and grime everywhere. I understand that locker rooms can be messy, but it is genuinely disturbing, especially if you take a shower, to even step on the floor (bring sandals if you do come here). The upstairs weight room has good equipment, but the amount of space makes everything seem crammed, even if you go at a less busy time. You literally have to go an hour or an hour and a half before close to have enough time to go to all the machines and equipment.

The gym itself is okay if you’re just looking for the minimum requirements, think planet fitness with more free weights. I decided to cancel my membership after a couple weeks because I wanted a gym with more amenities. They have a hot tub and sauna that are permanently broken and I’m pretty certain they are only there to mislead people (in fact I know they are since an employee told me he was told not to tell people they wouldn’t ever work). Emailed the GM as directed and was told I couldn’t cancel until I paid for an additional month and paid the yearly fee. I get that this is the company policy but they should state that in the enrollment process instead of making it seem like you can cancel at any time. I had heard negative things about this gym’s business practices in the past and I wish I had listened.

Gym employees pushed me into getting a "1$" month membership since my 7 day free pass wouldnt work for whatever reason... come to find out i got tricked into not a 1$ payment but the most expensive plan on a delayed payment is can cancel until I pay the first month and all the bs fees that come along with it like activation to there other gyms for 40$... I don't even use there other gyms and would have never signed up for that if a employee didn't deceive me so they could get whatever sign up bonus they get for new customers. Don't come here! There multiple other reviews about the same pushiness and unsavory tactics.
Edit: after asking me to "reach out" via email, crunch has been unresponsive for almost a week now after I gave them all the information needed to change my account type. I sent all this before I was supposed to be charged ofcourse now I have been charged and they have failed to respond to my original and now a follow up email for almost a week. So far so good,
Signed up online, next day scanned in and did a work out, didn’t have to speak with or engage with anyone, so 10/10 there. The facility was much bigger than I thought it would be and is laid out well. Seemed to be in good shape and well maintained for a Saturday morning. Locker room was decent, lots of cardio and weight machines, a little light on free weights but it is what it is. Two handed free weights I should say, the single dumbbell rack was quite large.
I am so far happy with the location and hope it continues to stay nice.

The gym is nice but the manager pushes predatory sales tactics. After 1.5 hours of a sales pitch on personal training, I agreed to pay for 1, $80 session. The manager Chris signed me up for biweekly payments for $370 each time. Idk what he signed me up for so needless to say it was never used and when I discussed having it paid back the gym staff put me through the run around. No one can return payment besides Chris who conveniently only refunds you in person and is never there.
Fast forward a few months and I cancel the whole membership. I was told it was processed and not a problem but ever since this business charges my card for random amounts weekly from new accounts they create. One week was $44, the next was $60 and the occasional $70 or $80 gets thrown in there. It's always under a new account.
I wouldn't trust this business. Management lies, staff does not follow through with what they say they'll do and it's very clear this is a common tactic they've worked really hard to perfect.

I like working out here, decent selection of weights and machines. It just feels so unorganized and chaotic. Which isn’t fully their fault. Wes from management is unprofessional and won’t help resolve my issue. I accidentally signed up for the Colorado Springs location instead of boulder location and was told I cannot use my membership in boulder. I called immediately after buying the membership and they said they cannot cancel or refund me and that I needed to dispute it with my bank. I ended up having to buy a membership at the boulder location as well. It won’t let me change my home gym to boulder and the Colorado Springs location won’t let me cancel my membership without paying $181 even though I haven’t been able to use the membership and I tried to cancel immediately after accidentally buying the wrong location’s membership.

Pretty good selection of machines and weights. Generally not as crowded as some of the other options which is nice. A tad pricey in my opinion and could use just a few more machine options. I like how they separate the majority of cardio from the general lifting.
Biggest complaint is that when they have classes there will be two or sometimes even more sets of music playing at once which drives me insane if I don't have my own music to blast.

I’ve been a member of Crunch a few years and transferred membership to the north location x2 years ago. I enjoy this gym, all the classes and instructors/ trainers are very good however today, I walked into the building where I am usually always
given a friendly greeting of the day, and encouraged to have a great workout, I received no such greeting, no smile not even a glance in my direction from 2.5 staff manning the front area. Understanding ppl have bad days but, should I assume they were all having a bad day, at the same time? This should never happen and needs to be fixed, today!

I have been going to North Crunch for a couple of months now doing Zumba, with the lovely Balvina Rios and she is just incredible with an amazing playlist and moves. She always says for us to be ourselves and have fun and we party for an entire hour. So fulfilling and challenging at the same time and I absolutely love it. Balvina is so kind and radiates positivity and light.

If I could hive 0 stars I would. Fraud theft and breach contract. I entered into contract with crunch fitness on 01/18/2024 for 3 months of personal training. The contract that I signed has a box that asks if you would like to continue a month to month contract after your initial contract period has ended. I circled NO on this section. 3 months should have taken me to April 18th however I was still charged $176 every two weeks after this. I had surgery on March 19th and had contacted my personal trainer to postpone the remaining physical training sessions until after my recovery. When I went to look at my bank statement and noticed that I was still being charged and I contacted Crunch fitness and was put in contact with the general manager, Jenni. Jenni could not produce my original contract. The "copy" that was emailed to me in January does not have my signature or my selections and only has the digital signature of the personal trainer that I had started the program with, and his digital selection of "yes" for a month to month. My original contract was done by hand and they claim not to know where it could have gone. I pulled up this "copy" and emailed it to Jenni who said she didn't even know the clause to opt out was available on the contract. After speaking with the district manager she stuck to the claim they they do not offer an option to opt out of the month to month even though it is plainly written that they do. On top of this there is a clause for death or disability that states that if you are not fully able to use their equipment due to either that you would be refunded from the date of disability for any services paid for and not rendered. They claim that I do not qualify for this because I did not tell them prior, a stipulation which is not in the contract. Jenni then told me the most they can do is prevent me from being charged further yet I was still charged again. This company is not only in breach of contract but has committed theft and perfectly pleased with doing so. I've made reports to the BBB and Attorney Generals office. And if this can't be solved through my bank I will absolutely be hiring an attorney and I'll be going for more than just what they stole from me. EDIT: They're still trying to charge me after I used their website to cancel but are still attempting to charge me and threaten fees, the email address they provide to contact them doesn't even work.

Worst gym. Tried to get out of my contract do to physical and financial hardship. Initially told I had to email them..then the email said no I had to call in to cancel because I was under contract. Ended up going back into the gym and spoke with the GM Wess who told me he couldn’t help me that I had to call their customer service number in which I spoke to the supervisor who also told me she couldn’t help me. Took the phone back into wess with the supervisor still in the phone and he proceeded to hang up on his own costumer service department. I ended up driving down the the south location to speak to the district manager in which I was told he was not there today. I asked for a return call from the district manager two weeks ago. I have still yet to hear anything. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I requested my policy be canceled when I moved OUT OF STATE. They lied and said it would be cancelled in 24 hours. Charged me monthly for four months and then sent me to collections for my 8.99 monthly payment i listed them as fraud transactionswith my CC.. Long story short when I confronted Chris about it he said he would "take care if it" CHRIS then charged my card on file 99$ + 8.99 membership renewal and didnt tell me until after. I guess THEFT BY DECEPTION is thier business model. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GIVING THEM ANY PAYMENT INFO as they will scam you and lie about it.
Update - still fuking up my money. Again told i cancelled and just charged me 60$. I will conttacting the BBB, my bank to report them as fraud, and corporate.

You are charged “registration” fees of around $40, and 60 days later you are charged a yearly fee of $50 which was not mentioned to me during sign up and I had to call to ask why $50 was pulled from my account. The lady I talked to was very helpful and explained everything but it is crazy that it was not mentioned at registration. Hopefully this will help make the pricing more transparent so this doesn’t happen to anyone in the future.

The pool is well maintained and that is all I use.
However, they insist on piping in their abominal choice of "music" into the locker room. It sounds like angry young men throwing up into the microphone playing 2 notes on the bass. They could cut the sound into the locker room but they refuse. No one uses the piped in music to work out by in the locker room. No one uses piped in music while they work out. 100% of patrons listen to their own choice of music with headphones. Thankfully there is no sound in the pool.
I like that members are able to bring a guest at no extra charge. If only they had pleasant sounds coming out of the speakers the place would be great. I like that it is not too crowded.

Beware - they sign you up for a contract that they do not show you, charge you fees they do not disclose and when you try to challenge the accuracy, they claim they cannot refund the bogus fees. When I signed up in 2023 for the top tier membership, I was told I could downgrade at any time - this was false - when I requested to downgrade, I was told I'd have to sign a whole new contract and pay excessive fees so I waited until my membership expired. On the first day of my last month, I "signed" (never seeing the contract or putting in my signature) a new Month-to-Month contract and I was charged $52.49 signup fees - $37.50 for enrollment + $14.99 first month dues. After reviewing the contract emailed to me, I noticed the start date was a month too early, I was being charged an additional $49.99 annual fee (after I had just paid it 2 months earlier) and charged $2/mo processing fee that was not disclosed. When I confronted the manager about these items, he refused to change them and I cancelled the new contract but he refused to refund me the signup fees stating that they were "downgrade fees". I've emailed him all my history and again requested a refund of the bogus "downgrade fees" and have not received a response. I will dispute the CC charges and file a BBB complaint if this is not resolved within 10 business days. Reviews show similar issues with this location - go somewhere else!

I was told I could do a month trial with no renewal. I decided to not continue my membership and I noticed a charge in my account for the membership. The manager Wes incorrectly set up my account and the whole sign up process was a mess. So when I saw the second charge today I immediately called. I spoke to Wes again and he refused to refund my money even though I was told it would not renew. I am happy he at least canceled my membership! The classes are good the management and gym are not. I’m be been a member of Crunch for a little over a year now. Today I check in and go to the locker room to change. The employee erroneously charged me for a drink when he didn’t make sure the gentleman behind me scanned their membership for theirs. No problem. I got notified of the charge and went to let them know they charged me instead and asked for a refund. The assistant manager Wes was called over to assist and told the employee he needed to go find the other guy who was purchasing the drink. I continually asked Wes for my refund since I wasn’t involved in this and I was the one erroneously charged. Wes told me I need to wait and that the best he can do is give me a drink or something. Wes finally gave in after accusing me of disrespecting him, grabbed cash out the drawer and through it at me. Afterwards he proceeded to follow me down the hall and get in my face. Customer service from this “manager” is garbage. You don’t treat your customers like this.

I was trying to refrain from leaving a review but once again I’ve gotten wrongfully charged. I canceled my membership due to their lack of support when it comes to being over charged. I randomly got charged today for a random amount that doesn’t match any of their fees. I don’t get how hard it is to charge the right amount. So now I have to get a new card and change all of my banking information because this gym cannot be professional. It is not my bank (as the ‘manager’ says) it is your non professional establishment that can’t correctly bill anyone.

When I sought out a personal trainer, I was grappling with some limiting injuries accumulated over the decades. Average gym. Has equipment. Too bad management is in the business of ripping people off. Tried to change plans 15 days before the Month to Month charges were to be put on my card. Raul, the district manager falsely said that my payment had already been processed but he would 'take care of me'. Later that day, I found out that they had been 'taking care of me' by charging my card for services I didn't receive or authorize.
I put a hold on my Credit Card and tried to reach management. Never available. Sent them an email 14 days before my next renewal date to meet their contractual agreement. Called again, still no management. On the 24th of the month I called the payment center and requested that no additional charges to my card as I canceled the membership. Person on the other see end of the phone confirmed that there would be no more charges....the next day charges were attempted 7 times. Called my credit card company again and the canceled the card because fraudulent charge attempts by a dubious company were happening.
This company is a credit card fraud company that has a few pieces of exercise equipment.

I have been a member of Crunch for four years, but my recent encounter with the management left me deeply disappointed. As I was moving out of town on August, I approached the gym to cancel my membership. To my surprise, the manager jokingly informed me that I couldn't cancel and offered to "hook me up" if I continued with my membership.
Trusting the manager's words, I agreed to keep my membership, as he promised me access to the top-tier membership benefits, including access to all clubs and amenities like the pool, hot tub, and sauna. This was crucial for me as I was relocating to a new city and wanted to continue my gym routine there.
However, upon calling the crunch and contacting both gyms, I discovered that they did not have any of the promised amenities. Feeling deceived, I immediately contacted Crunch North Academy to cancel my membership. Unfortunately, I was told that the manager had locked me into a term contract, preventing me from canceling.
I spoke to First Gentleman, hoping for a resolution, but he couldn't provide any assistance or even give me a call back time. Frustrated and determined to resolve the issue, I left work and visited the gym in person, but the staff at the front desk were rude and unhelpful.
After waiting for 30 minutes, I finally met with the manager, who agreed to cancel my membership. However, he left the room and had someone else cancel it for me, leaving me baffled as to why this couldn't have been done earlier.
To make matters worse, I didn't receive an email confirmation after 24 hours, so I called the gym again. The young lady who answered the phone seemed unaware of my situation and couldn't even look up the activity on my account until I insisted. This lack of seriousness and communication from the gym staff further added to my disappointment.
Overall, my experience with Crunch has been extremely unsatisfactory. The false promises, lack of transparency, and unprofessional behavior have left me with a negative impression. As a loyal member for four years, I expected better treatment and more accountability from the management and staff. I hope my feedback will prompt the gym to improve their practices and ensure a better experience for future members.

**Do not join Crunch Gym** I truly had one of the worst customer services experiences in my life at Crunch gym South. I signed up for a membership one month ago--a $9.99 month to month membership. I also signed up for four sessions with a personal trainer. When I initially visited the gym, the GM Chris attempted to up-sale me at every turn. After expressing firmly that I could not afford the personal training options he was presenting, he said he would sign me up for a month to month membership at $9.99, and one month of sessions with a personal trainer (4 sessions total, meeting once a week). I confirmed with him that the personal training sessions would only be for the one month, to which he assured me that I would not be charged again unless I explicitly asked to sign up again. A few days ago I was charged another $300 for personal training, and was told that I cannot be refunded. To add insult to injury, the month to month payment of $9.99 that Chris said I could cancel at any time (because he knew I wasn't sure if I wanted to stay at the gym), has a cancellation fee. So, now I'm out of another $75. What makes this even worse, I called *before* my membership was renewed to confirm that I would not be charged again for the training. The front desk worker said that she would make sure that was noted and that it should be fine. Clearly, the inability to be forthright and honest isn't limited to management at Crunch fitness.
Chris is not an honest person, after failing to up-sale me on the services he wanted, he gave me false information to rope me into a membership. When I went back to review my receipt and contract, which he said he would email me, I realized he never sent them. I know now why he didn't send them. Chris is no longer at the South location but has moved to the North gym, and that is why I'm posting the review in both places. I will not be returning to Crunch. This is a shame, because I hoped to work with my trainer again in the future, and she was the epitome of professional.

I usually don’t write reviews but this is too far! I don’t want people to go thru the same experience as I have. I’m clearly upset that they charge my account when I haven’t even lift a single weight in that gym! I was pressured into signing a $1 deal for a free trial for like two weeks but as soon I saw the other reviews on here. I realized it was too late and was lied too. I had to cancel my “membership” the next day and one of guys said “alright your good” I took his word and less than a month I was charged $14.99 for a plan I didn’t agree or even register. I went again and they said I had to email them to just cancel? Which I just did in person. We’ll just have to find out but they already have my account number. My name is Ciera Edwards this is my full statement regarding my experience with Crunch Fitness. I am currently stil trying to receive a refund for 3 separate charges due to services not rendered. Transaction dates are, August 31, 2022, October 3, 2022 and October 18, 2022 for $149.00 each.
I signed a three month contract at the beginning of May to receive training services by crunch fitness. I fulfilled that contract with my trainer and decided I wanted to continue training with her. I did not sign another contract. I continued to train with her for two weeks with the understanding that I was paying for services as I received them. I then went out of state for the month of September. When I returned, I came back to the charges listed above. During my time away my trainer quit Crunch Fitness. Crunch did not contact me to notify me of my trainer leaving or to reschedule me with a new trainer for the training already charged to my account August 31. Then continued to charge me for October 3 and October 18. Once I realized these transactions were occurring I emailed them and called them to cancel all charges and my membership. I even asked to be set up with a trainer in my email sent 10/20/22 to use the training sessions I was charged for August 31st. I never received any attempts to get me with a new trainer. I have been attempting to communicate with them since October 20, 2022 to try to resolve this situation and receive a refund. There was never a response to two separate email attempts. I have been calling them biweekly and physically going into Crunch trying to resolve this issue with the road blocks every time. I have been very patient due to a high turnover in management. Every time I have gone into Crunch to resolve this issue or called there is a new manager that I have to talk to, and explain the whole situation. No documentation of any of these correspondences were saved in my files there. I requested the original contract that I signed, stating that I was only signed up for automatic payments from the beginning of May to July. One of the many managers I spoke to said that they had disposed of that documentation. I tried to request higher management, such as their regional manager many times and I was always told they were out of town and would call me within two weeks. I never received any calls from Crunch management regarding this issue. During this entire process all contact was initiated by me. Each time I called back the management member I previously spoke to quit. I spoke with five separate managers four of them no longer work for Crunch. The regional manager is the management member that has been consistently employed with Crunch, since the original transitions were charged. I was told by one of the managers I spoke with that if they gave me any higher management members information that they would be fired. All of this to explain that I just want my money back for services I did not receive and was charged for. The lack of communication from this business is frankly insane and they should not be able to get away with peoples money due to their inability to manage services, keep records, and retain employees.

Management refused to honor my cancellation 10 days before, because “the 7th is exactly 10 days before the 17th”. Nickel and diming at its purest- included the annual fee by the way.

This place is old, outdated and is more difficult to quit than smoking! Their management is beyond pitiful!! I canceled my membership ship over a month ago and they continue to charge my monthly dues. First, they said you have to talk to a manager to cancel and didn't have one on duty. Then it was you have to email the manage at a certain email address. I did the email and now have to cancel my debit card to make sure they don't charge me anymore. And don't Ever expect a return call or email. Avoid this dump like the plague!!!

They got a bunch of "new" equipment recently. Some of it is already broken. The layout is terrible. They went from 9 squat racks to 5. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Crunch Fitness sucked us into a membership at a gas station one day by saying that one of their bonuses was easy cancellations of memberships. When we moved out east, and no longer lived right up the street, we called to cancel. The people on the phone stated that we had to go into the gym to cancel. After driving for an hour to show up and cancel our membership, one of the managers (the one with the lisp) stated that we just had to send an email requesting the cancellation. My wife and I sent the email right in front of him, and he confirmed that the email was received and our membership would be cancelled. This was done on December 27th 2022. However, they still had to charge us for January 2023s membership due to us not cancelling 10 days prior to the billing being taken out. Now here we are in February, and they pulled membership fees from us again! When I called, i was told the managers werent in until 10 a.m., even though they open at 6 a.m. and had to wait for a call back. We called our bank and had to pay $25 for a stop fee on top of the membership fee being taken out. This is outrageous and wrong. They are theiving from people and dont appear to take any form of regret for it. I reccomend taking your fitness goals somewhere else to keep your financial goals healthy as well.

Not too crowded if you’re in early. Can get a little overloaded with gym bros and grunters sometimes but overall it’s alright. You definitely don’t feel judged or watched while working out.

Don't sign up for membership! They are dishonest. Had initially signed up for $29.99 membership and they charged $5.00 more than what was on the signed contract. Went in person to cancel it, they said they did and failed to do so, I got charged for an extra month. I have been on call after call with them to get my money back since September 2022. Expect the run around and don't expect a refund.

The facility itself is nice, but the Managers of the facility and the personal training are a joke. They've ignored my emails, overcharged my account, held my money hostage, ignored me for 3 months worth of pt with no refund, and skipped out on meetings to try and resolve any issues. I am incredibly dissatisfied and feel like They've been taking advantage of me.

I'm going to start going to this place. Pretty much the same facilities as Vasa, but half the cost. The people that work there seem to be friendly.

I like this place. 2 complaints though.
1: fix the freaking hot tub already, it's been almost 2 years.
2: nobody wants to listen to (c)rap music when working out, play metal and rock music.

So, these guys, this business is where i did my externship ship a few years back. A week prior to my completion, the fitness manager quit and no one figured to step up and take care of my progressive paperwork. Recently I purchased a training package, well its been about 4 months. They've taken over 600 dollars from me and still haven't contacted me about my training packages. And on top of that they still taking monthly fees. You guys are a disgrace at all fitness level and deserve to shut down. And yes the excuse was the same thing this time. The fitness manager quit so they lost track of everything.

Doesnt compare to Planet or Vasas amenities. Everything seems broke, no hot tub, tanning booth bulbs were out for months, not enough machines.
Personal trainers are awesome until they start to push you into spending more money on training you need but cant afford.
Not renewing membership..Beachbody at home here I come.
