At FXB Denver, we make fitness fun, focused, and doable for real life! 🥊 Our 10-Week Challenge combines kickboxing, strength training, and nutrition coaching to help you get stronger — inside and out. We offer a variety of membership levels to fit your goals and your budget, so you can find the plan that works best for you. Classes run all day, including our 6:30 PM 30-Minute Express Class for busy nights. Your first class is always free, and we’ll even give you a free week if you ask! My favorite workout in Denver!!
The variation between strength training and kickboxing gives me great results and I don’t get bored. [As a yogi, I was surprised by how much I love the kickboxing — so cathartic!]

The best part is the community, though — everyone is so supportive, there’s none of the silent competition of other gyms, and the instructors are all a ton of fun!

I have been going to Farrell's for a couple years now, and am so happy to be apart of the community there! Farrells feels like family, it's an absolute no judgement zone but the trainers (who all rock!) will make sure you're pushing past your limits. Personally, I love the kickboxing classes, they are wonderful cardio while still being super fun & challenging :)

I have been a member at Farrell's extreme Bodyshaping for 2 1/2 years. I can't express what this gym and the community there have meant to me. The instructors are top notch, and I have never had a better work out in any capacity at any of the other gyms I have belonged too. The strength training and Kickboxing classes continue to challenge me and are always presenting new challenges. But, the best part was bonding with my daughter with Kickboxing classes, we did it together and it was life changing for our relationship! Ariel is the owner of Denver Farrell's and she is seriously the best. The team she has built there is motivating, empowering, and patient! You walk into a class not feeling intimidated, but welcome, and regardless of your level of athleticism and ability, there are endless modifications to the workouts.
We would recommend Farrell's to any person who is looking for an "inclusive but not over-bearing" gym and team. This is the place to be, which is wild coming from someone who doesn't love working out but has really enjoyed being part of this gym.

This place is awesome. I went to a kickboxing class a couple of years ago and was turned off by the high prices and pushy salespeople. This studio is a completely different experience. You can do a one-week free trial to test it out and they didn't even ask me about signing up afterward, just encouraged me to come to the classes. They have a couple different options for memberships which are reasonably priced. Workouts are tough and effective but not overwhelming. The owner and all of her instructors are great, too. Very helpful, welcoming and encouraging! Highly recommend.

Just recently completed the 10 week Challenge! My result was amazing, I lost 9 lbs. of body fat , lost 5'5% body fat. I got stronger, toned and carved out the abs.
The instructors are awesome. They keep track of your progress , very closely updating the work routine for maximum impact. They have also done an amazing job @ challenging me at every session. I feel healthier and have seen positive changes in my body and have a new found passion for working out that I always struggled to find.

Farrell's is a wonderful gym and community! I recently completed my ten weeks and it was a fantastic experience. I lost a total of 4.6% body fat, 4 inches, and gained 2 lbs of muscle mass. However, and more importantly, Farrell's brought me back to enjoy working out again. It had been over three and half years since I really worked out and enjoyed, and this program and the team reinvigorated me and my health. Love it here! I am a full time student while working on weekends and I decided to try their 10week program. I didn't think I was going to have time to do it, but I have to say it was the best decision I ever made! There is no boring routine it's always fun and challenging. The staff is wonderful! Farrell's is Absolutely amazing. I Recently did the ten week challenge and lost 13 inches total 6 of which were just off my waist! I lost a total of 6.4 % body fat too! I have gone down 6 pant sizes in the 10 weeks. The coaches and other members are super awesome and they really help keep you motivated. I am continuing to go to keep up what I have already lost and plan to have even better results. This place is the only place I have found that works. I did this when I was back in Iowa and had lost 20lbs in that ten weeks and 18 inches. So if you want kick ass results this is definitely your answer! Best decision I have ever made to improve my life. I sleep better, eat better and feel fantastic. And to be honest my grocery bill has gone down so thats a plus too!

I cannot say enough good things about FXB, I just finished my 10 week workout program and I’m so happy with my results, I lost 11.75 inches total, 4% body fat and went down 15 pounds . . . yes in only 10 weeks!
At the beginning I couldn’t do much but all the instructors and coaches took the time to show me good form and motivated me to push myself to my limit. They kept track of my progress very closely. Feeling motivated to go to the class every day and looking at the difference in the mirror it’s an experience I have never felt elsewhere.
Thank you to Dan and all the people who make this place possible (Jan, Aubrey, Catlin, Melanie, etc.); the energy of everybody that’s working hard around you is priceless, you'll find yourself eager to see just how far you can push. I just finished my 10 week challenge and I couldn't be Happier with the results! I lost a total of 10.8% Body fat which equaled out to 35.5lbs of fat and a total of 22.5 inches (8 inches from my wait alone!) My mom signed me up for the 10-Week Challenge at this Farrell's location and all I can say is that it was an amazing experience. The coaches are great and aim to not only teach and push you, but to make sure your experience here is one of a kind. The community of other 10-Weekers and existing members is amazing, everyone is so nice and welcoming it's just awesome. The F.I.T Members who've already completed their 10-Weeks are extremely helpful and motivational. Personally I lost a total of 10 inches (4 off my waist), 22lbs and 7.2% body fat. I was struggling getting back into a fitness routine. Signing up for the 10 week program was a huge commitment, and I am so glad I made it! The workouts were perfectly paced and achievable in the designated 45 minutes. Alternating cardio with strength training allowed my body to recover between sessions and I saw immediate results. In the first 5 weeks, I lost 5% body fat, 10 pounds (while gaining 3 in muscle mass) and 10 inches. I was only more pleased by my 10 week results. I felt overall stronger and my endurance levels were steady. The classes include folks of all different levels of fitness and there is very little "intimidation" factor. The instructors and coaches take the time to assist with form to ensure an effective and safe workout and are very encouraging. I would highly recommend this program to anyone looking for a swift (but good) kick in the pants!

I recently completed the 10 Week Challenge and cannot say enough good things about Dan and his Team at Farrell's. I began my journey in January after reaching the heaviest weight I had ever been in my life, and was sick and tired of the way my body felt and looked. As a former college athlete, I wasn't a complete newbie to the idea of working out and nutrition, but even with that knowledge, I struggled with finding the motivation and the dedication to get to a regular gym. What I failed to realize was that I was missing my TEAM! Having a group of friends and instructors to help motivate, encourage, support, and hold me accountable has made all the difference! The workouts are TOUGH.... the 'kicking, punching, high energy, can't-do-another-rep, burpees till I puke' type of TOUGH! We all have to start somewhere, and I'm so grateful to the instructors and other members at Farrell's for helping me even get past day one! The idea of synergy and that we can achieve more together runs deep in the Farrell's family; we rejoice in each other's success and provide support when we struggle. Ten weeks later and I'm down 9% body fat and have lost over 15 inches (nearly 7 in my waist alone), but more importantly I've gained a fitness family and the confidence to know that, together, there's nothing we can't achieve! My fitness journey has only begun and I can't wait to see what the future holds :)

I finished my 10-week challenge and it has changed my life. I have always hated working out but Dan (the owner) and the instructors make the experience worthwhile. They provide support, motivation, and encouragement. Even when you feel like you can’t push yourself, they are there to push you. The workouts are challenging, however, you are in and out in 45 minutes, and they are FUN!!!! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly and I have met some AWESOME people during the process. In addition, I didn’t know how to eat well and this huge misconception when it came to food. Dan and his instructors taught me about nutrition and what I need to be eating to see results. I lost 5.5 inches (lost over 3 inches off your hips), and my clothes are fitting so much better. I joined FIT because Ferrell’s’ has become a part of my daily routine and I feel like something is missing out of my day when I can’t make it to class. My experience with Farrell's extreme bodyshaping. was better then any workout program I have tried. I have tried other boot camps, 30 min circuit workouts/intense cardio, pole fitness and also joining a gym on my own and didn't stick with anything until farrell's extreme bodyshaping 10 week challenge.

The constant change of classes and the community here is what hooked me! Having coaches holding you accountable to YOUR commitment to the 10 week challenge was exactly what I needed when I started to get off track. Not only did I finish this program strong I lost over 7.5 inches on my entire body, 2inches on my waste alone, my "PROBLEM" area. I also walked away with friends and becoming apart of this amazing workout community!!

I recently completed my 10 week challenge. During my 10 weeks I lost a total of over 14 inches, 5 of which around my waist. I also lost 5.1% body fat. I am extremely happy with my results. The atmosphere at FXB is amazing. FXB is a place where you will never be judged and welcomes everybody. Everyone there motitvated and wants to see you succeed. FXB is fantastic! I've done the 10 week challenge twice now (at 2 different locations) and have achieved great results both times (5-7% loss of body fat each time, countless inches and let's not even talk about the increase in my strength.....can you say 5 minute plank?!?!?!).

Under threats of lost friendships, I dragged friends of mine into it and they saw even better results than me! Plus, I/we met amazing people along the way. I'm one of those people who "hate to work out" and have never stuck with an exercise program but FXB was really fun and motivating so here I am--signed up to continue! I recently completed my 10 week challenge. I lost 14 pounds and 19 inches overall which I thought was never possible. After having a baby it was hard for me to find time to exercise. The best part is that this is just 45 minutes but intense workout.There are different timings in the morning and evening. So you can select which works best for you.
The combination of kickboxing, strength training and nutrition helps you to loose body fat in a healthy way. The environment created by Instructors, coaches and Dan is very warm and welcoming. Each day of workout is different and never boring.

I recently completed the 10 week challenge at Farrells Extreme Bodyshoping (FXB). I was impressed with the results I had made at the 5 week assessment and even happier with my 10 week results. I lost almost 7 inches total, 2 of those inches off of my waist. I am able to wear jeans now that I couldn’t fit into prior to joining FXB. I also dropped my mile run from 9:18 to 7:40 in 10 weeks. I have a very active background and before joining FXB I was in the gym for 2+ hours. At Farrells you are in and out within 45 minutes and leaving the gym drenched and feeling accomplished. The instructors at FXB are there to push you and encourage you to reach your full potential. You won’t get this kind of support at any other gym, I can promise you that! Not only are the instructors great supporters all of the members and coaches are there to help you succeed. I wouldn’t have gotten these results without all of them. I joined Ferrell's 10wk program back in Sept and it was the best decision - no doubt! My results were more than I imagined. Lost 7lbs, 7 inches and feel absolutely amazing! I started with no strength, only able to do 18 knee push-ups & ended with being able to do a total of 69 (29 which were real push-ups)! Dan, the owner & all the instructors are super amazing, very motivating & by no means easy. You will definitely get a tough & sweaty workout! But if you want results you have to put in the work! I'm so glad I joined and even more excited for my continuation in health & fitness.

I was just named winner of the 10-week Challenge in Denver!! Shed 16 pounds of fat and 18 inches - thanks to a great program and dedicated instructors. As a former distance runner sidelined by injuries, it's been a struggle to find a workout I could enjoy as much. Farrell's kickboxing and strength training combines individual challenge with the camaraderie (and distraction) of working out with a group. It never gets boring or easy. I have been a member of Farrell's Denver location for seven months now. I just got all my results back from my annual workplace bio-metric and wellness screening - every single number is down significantly from 2015. I have also been taken off one routine medication!
This is pretty much all in part to my involvement with Farrell's and the hard work, commitment and dedication of all the instructors that work at the gym, pushing me to the next level. If you want to be challenged every day in a gym with good trainers and good people who work out with you, this gym is the one for you. If you stick to the 6 day per week, 45 minute program that switches between upper body, lower body, kickboxing, core and cardio and follow their proven nutrition plan - you WILL lose weight and inches and gain muscle and strength. I began my journey with Farrell's in January 2015 and I had no idea what to expect when I walked in the door. I was really looking for a program with individualized coaching and a plan I could stick with. Well, let's just say, I found it and MORE at Farrell's! Prior to joining, I was not actively fit enough to hike with friends without losing my stamina. At 10 weeks, I increased my mile run by 4 minutes and the next 5 mile mountain hike I did, I not only didn't lose my stamina, I wasn't even tired! Ive lost 30 lbs, at least 8% body fat and am down 3 dress sizes! I've now been with the program almost 2 years and training is never the same, but something new each day to look forward to. And the best part? The community of people. They are family and will support you each and every step of the way!! You should definitely give it a try!

Shopping for clothes is fun again! After my 10 -week challenge at Farrell’s, I can fit into clothes I haven’t worn in years. I dropped more than 12 inches and a couple of dress sizes. I’m in my early 50's and in recent years, nothing fit anymore even though the scale said I hadn’t gained that much weight. The Farrell’s workouts have totally changed that. I can’t believe how dramatic the results have been!

The other great thing about Farrell’s has been the camaraderie and support. There’s a real team feel to the 10-week challenge. And the instructors are great. Being older and having some injuries, I’ve had to modify some exercises, but the instructors have been awesome about helping me with that. The instructors push you so that you have no choice but to work hard and get results! I would never work out this hard on my own but it’s clearly what I needed!

What can I say about Farrell's...the entire experience has made my life a better place to be! After a lifetime of battling my weight, I have finally found a program that feels like home. The workouts are intense and amazing (so are the coaches). The environment is friendly, welcoming and supportive, and best of all, you get to eat! And not just a little bit here and there, you get to eat real food in real portion sizes without feeling like you're on a diet. In my first 10 weeks, I lost 11 inches including 4 off my waist alone. I also lost almost 5% body fat -- in 10 weeks, that's unheard of! Combine that with my new found strength (I can do real pushups now!), and you really can't beat it. I will be a member for life. Joining FXB was such a great decision. I had a gym membership I barely used and needed a change. A friend of mine had posted some great results so I decided to come check out a class - I had plans to run the Tough Mudder and needed some help getting in shape. I had a great time in the class and loved the workout. I ran the tough Mudder 1 week after I finished my 10 week program and felt awesome! I lost inches, got stronger and developed some much better eating habits. I would absolutely reccomend this program to anyone needing a change and looking to join a great gym with even better coaches and instructors.

I can't count how many gym memberships I have had over the years. Many, probably most, were great gyms: good equipment, friendly knowledgeable staff, the works. There was only one problem -- I never went.

Every time I signed up for a new gym I would tell myself "this time its different. This time I will go." But I never did. Oh, I'd go everyday for a while, then I would miss a day.

"Its okay, you'll go again tomorrow."

But slowly one skipped day would become 2, then 3. Then next thing you know I hadn't gone for a week, then month, you get the idea.

When I signed up for Farrell's Extreme Body Shaping on South Colorado I was dubious. But this time it really WAS different. I go almost everyday. I look forward to it. The workouts are fun and challenging. The results are visible. And best of all there is a sense of accountability. Your classmates and coaches know you, they notice when you aren't there. I highly recommend FXB i can not believe the great results i got in just 10 weeks. I joined FXB thank to my coworker that had signed in she convince me to do this 10 week challenge with her so i decided i was going to give it a try. Am that type of person that hated working out it was just something that i thought it was just a waste of time. Now 12 weeks late i can tell you it was one of the best choices i have made, I haven't work out for 2 week and i miss class so much and am planing on going back soon. And it was not so much about loosing weight that impacted me the most it was the amount of inches i lost, it was hard to believe. I lost 14 inches (7 inches off my waist) 11 pounds. I feel great i can finally wear cloth that i really like. The classes were intense specially kickboxing class but that was the class i was looking forward every other day. My coworker asked me to join FXB with her. When she told me it was early in the morning I told her I'm not a morning person. I have now gotten up and moving close to every morning since starting my 10 week challenge. This is the kick start I needed to get back into working out. I love that the classes are different every day so there is never the same old boring routine. The hardest part for me was eating healthy but I noticed if I ate something bad the night before working out the workout was much harder so pairing the nutrition and workouts together was the combination I needed to get the results I wanted. In my 10 weeks I lost 11 inches (4.75 off my waist), 10 lbs, and 9.1% body fat!

The instructors are great and keep everyone moving if you are new or have been going for years. Sometimes the class is over before I even know it starts. This is a great place to get motivated for transforming your body.

I am not a morning person. Yet, I knew the only way I could commit to a 10-week program was to go first thing in the morning. I have always exercised, whether it is running, biking, or resistance training. However, it was also always the first thing to drop when life got “busy” to the point I had not been to a gym for almost 6 months. Then FXB happened. FXB keeps it interesting by varying the workouts in the morning so it is impossible to get bored and I don’t waste time trying to figure out what I am going to do today, or waiting for equipment. I lost almost 4% body fat, 10 inches, I can run faster than I ever have in my life, and I am just happier and more positive on a daily basis with all of work/life stress. Now, after 10 weeks, the 6:15AM class has become a routine and I feel different throughout the day at work when I miss the class.

When it comes to a work out we are all different. I have tried the boot camp 3X/week. I would show up maybe once or twice a week. My personality is all in or all out. I learned (joining this program) I need a program EVERY DAY!!
Now when I first spoke to Dan about the program I remember my words exactly- 6 DAYS / WEEK that is a HUGE commitment!! I take my kids to school and I pick them up. Which leaves me no time for working out. After our conversation I realized there was no "program" that will magically work around my busy schedule. I needed to make time for me.

Like every program the first few days are a little intimidating. I'm not going to lie the first week all I could think was " OMG I signed up for 10 weeks of this!!!????" Then week 2 came and went. I found in our class we all started to get to know one another, you find a good partner. After week 2 I felt accountable to go and show up for my partner. About week 5 it really hit- I paid for this program I need to work as hard as I can! 10 weeks went by SO fast!
By the end of my 10 weeks I lost 5lbs, 8.9% body fat and 8 inches half of which were on my thighs and waist! Most of all I felt like I had made a healthy habit. I didn't want the 10 weeks to end! Now going on week 14 I have lost another 4lbs and I can feel a HUGE difference in my pants.

If your thinking about trying out a new "program" I strongly suggest this one!! What do you have to loose (besides pounds and body fat)!!

I've never stuck with a workout routine before so it says a lot that I have been attending for 14 straight weeks...6 days a week! At 44, I thought I was destined to live with my new growing belly...but that's not the case! I have muscles now and can wear clothes I want to wear again. Yay!

If I could give FXB 10 stars I would. The program is structured perfectly between cardio, strength training, and nutrition. The results speak for themselves. I went into my 10 week challenge as a somewhat former athlete caught in a rut living a very sedentary lifestyle. After my 10 week challenge, I lost 17 lbs and a total of 10.5 inches including 4.5 off the beer gut. I turned 50 so I’ve spent time thinking about what I needed to do differently during this next chapter of my life. I decided its time to make a commitment to myself. That commitment started when I signed up for Farrell’s 10 Week Challenge. Through the 10 weeks, I got up and showed up. I listened to the instructors and my personal coach. I planned my meals and made sure to give my body the fuel it needed. I made some great new friends, and we encouraged and motivated each other, and held each other accountable.

At the end of the 10 week program I've achieved awesome results! So glad I signed up at FXB! I've never been an athlete or someone who worked out regularly in my life, but after a week or two at Farrell's I was hooked. Classes are hard, but it's always different enough that I don't get bored, and now I actually look forward to going. I started to notice results within a couple of weeks, and by the time my ten weeks was over, I lost 8 lbs, 12 inches overall, and 5 inches from my waist. Down two pants sizes! I also feel so much stronger, and that's the part that keeps me coming back. In ten weeks I doubled the number of push ups and sit ups I can do, and can do kickboxing moves that I laughed at the idea of a few months ago.

As others have mentioned, the community is really the best part. All of the instructors are welcoming, motivating and friendly, and having a coach was a huge asset for me - there was someone I knew that expected to see my every day! They and other members are always willing to share diet tips and tricks and recipes, and were a huge source of motivation throughout my ten weeks.

If you're considering signing up, I cannot recommend the program highly enough. You deserve it!

What an amazing experience!!!

After completing Farrell’s 10-week challenge, I went through a total body transformation and was selected as the $1,000 contest winner. I lost 8 inches off my waist, dropped 3.5% body fat, and lost 13 pounds. Additionally, I dramatically increased my push ups, sit ups, and flexibility, and shaved nearly 4 minutes off my mile run.

I’ve never felt healthier, and I have more confidence in myself. The Farrell’s instructors’ custom classes make kickboxing and resistance band training fun and challenging every day. Early on I learned that you can’t out-work a bad diet, and Farrell’s provided me with the knowledge and tools to better manage my meal planning and food choices.

I never would have had this amount of success without the incredible camaraderie and motivation from all of my instructors and fellow 10-week members. After completing my 10 week challenge at FXB- Denver, all I can say is WOW.

I heard about the program from a friend of mine who lost 100 pounds doing the Farrell’s program for a year. I thought to myself if she can do it, then I can do it. Therefore, my fiancée and I signed up together hoping we can get into better shape for those wedding pictures we have in May. With FXB-Denver’s help, I lost 21 pounds, 4 inches off my waist, 3.4% body fat; however, what I am most proud of is I went from an 11-minute mile to clocking 8:16 in just 10 weeks. It was pretty cool that Dan, the own of FXB-Denver, was there high-fiving me at the end.

This program has taught me that there are no shortcuts. FXB-Denver works because it provides the structure, guidance, and accountability by implementing the best practices that are out there in the health and nutrition fields. FXB program is based around three areas that helped me achieve great results: cardio, strength training and nutrition. Monday, Wednesday and Friday I was doing kickboxing for cardio. This was a great way to get my heart rate up and burn calories. On Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays, I was doing strength training using resistance bands. This was awesome because much of science I read talks about how gaining muscle burns more calories throughout the day. The third, and in many ways the most important piece, is nutrition. Every week, the FXB team sends out easy-to-follow meal plans to give you ideas and help keep you on track.

My fiancé (who also had great results as well) and I plan on continuing as FIT students. We've already made friends in the program and have a feeling we will continue to build strong relationships because of the empowering and inclusive community. I can't say enough good things about the program. I want to thank Dan the owner, Monica (my coach) and all the rest of the instructors and coaches who are there to help keep me on track and accountable.

I just started the ten week program. 2nd week in and I feel great. I look forward to going to the classes! The kick boxing classes are fun and the strength classes remind me of muscles that I forgot existed! Make sure that you analyze your nutrition when you start the program. The fitness is only 20% of the game if your intention is to lose weight. The program does educate you on nutrition and coaches you through your daily food choices. You are in control of your what goes in your body and you must be true to yourself! Overall the program rocks and I would recommend anyone that is looking for a great group of people to work out with, a program that strengthens your core and strengthens your body as a whole with proven results, to come and try it out! Joining Farrell’s was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. This was a 50th Birthday/Christmas gift that I gave to myself.
I completed Farrell’s 10 Week Challenge a couple of weeks ago. I knew when I signed up in October, that it wouldn’t be easy because the 10 weeks included Halloween, Thanksgiving and the Christmas season! But I made it, and I’m extremely happy with my results! I lost 18 pounds, 17 inches over all, and 4.9% body fat! AND, as if that wasn’t enough, I won the $1000 prize!
Working out six days a week for 10 weeks may sound daunting, but once you get into the routine, you'll be hooked. I found myself rearranging other things in my life to ensure I could make my classes. Every day is different and fun so the 45 minutes flies by! For me, Farrell's delivered everything I needed: structure, accountability & motivation.
Last, but not least, the staff is amazing. They are friendly, helpful and very motivating. Everyone, from the instructors to the people in your class, started with the 10 week challenge.

I joined Farrell's on a whim with friends to do something "different" and lose weight. I had already been seeing a personal trainer twice a week and had no idea what to expect. After the first few classes I was hooked and on top of that started seeing results quickly and at a healthy pace. I've just finished my first 10 week challenge at Farrell's with fantastic results. I have worked out my entire life but had never done any sort of class or program before. I thought I was doing enough with my workouts, whether it was on my own or with a personal trainer. Much to my surprise, 20 lbs. came out of nowhere over the past few years and I realized it was time to shake things up. I stopped in and met Dan and he helped convince me that with some hard work, Farrell's could be just what I was looking for. I was very nervous to try the class setting, but within the first two days I was sold! Dan, the staff, and my classmates were very welcoming and the whole experience was comfortable from the start. The workout is intense, the nutrition plan is excellent, and the atmosphere is unmatched. Now 11 weeks in, I am 20 lbs. lighter, many inches smaller, and have never had so much energy. Not to mention, I have made numerous connections with several great people. A+. Five Stars. Perfect 10 out of 10. However you want to rank it, Farrell's Extreme Bodyshaping on Colorado Blvd sets the standard for excellence. Here's what sold me initially: Dan, the owner and one of our trainers, told me about the price.

Dan: "We're right about in the middle between the cost of a regular gym membership and a personal trainer."

Me: "Definitely more than a gym membership."

Dan: "Have you had a gym membership before?"

Me: "Sure."

Dan: "How'd that work out for you?"

It immediately made sense. I wasn't going to get anywhere on my own, but I wasn't going to hire a personal trainer, either. I signed up.

Here's what happened:

When I started, I weighed 278 lbs. 10 weeks later, I weigh 259 lbs.

When I started, I had a 43" waist. 10 weeks later, I have a 38 3/4" waist.

When I started, I was 32.3% body fat. 10 weeks later, I'm 27.7% body fat.

When I started, I could do 32 pushups in a minute. Now I can do 71.

When I started, I could do 25 situps in a minute. Now I can do 47.

When I started it took me 13 minutes to run/walk a mile. Last week I did it in 9:50, no stopping.

So, to sum up: 10 weeks ago, I was overweight, out of shape, and it hurt to exercise. Now, I'm fit, I eat right, and I look forward to exercise (mostly).

I can't recommend Dan and his team enough. If you want to get healthy, this is the way that worked for me.

I just finished my 10-weeks. What a great program. I've been working out, doing various things my entire life. This program is by far one of the most well-rounded and rewarding gyms I've ever belonged to. Not only are the classes designed to max you out in a good way, you build muscle the right way. They teach you that the number one piece is nutrition. Working out six days a week used to be difficult, even when I thought I was already in shape. I no longer feel like it's difficult and look forward to class and how I'll feel afterwards. I specifically joined for the nutrition piece which has been truly life changing for me. I can't imagine going back to my old workouts based on what the first 10-weeks did for me.

Being more than over-weight my whole life this is a fantastic program/lifestyle change for all shapes and sizes. It took me 8 months to finally commit to the 10-week program at Farrell's Extreme Body Shaping. Kicking myself that I didn't start earlier (no pun intended)! This is the first program that has me in gym almost 6-days a week because I want to. I've finished my 10-weeks and committed myself to another year as a FIT member. I have been a member of FXB since August of 2013. I LOVE this place. The owner Dan is great and always willing to help out with any questions you may have, the coaching staff makes sure you have a great workout but keeps it fun as well. If you put in your level 10, you will never leave this place feeling like you haven't worked out. The other FIT students are welcoming and helpful. This is definitely not like going to gym where you feel like everyone is staring at or judging you. There is always a friendly face even at the 5:15 AM class. I have, so far, lost 50 lbs and dropped 5 pant sizes, all because of the great encouragement I get from here. You won't regret giving this place a chance.

I started FXB knowing I needed a change in my life. I was overweight, unhappy and unmotivated. I found FXB online and thoroughly researched it before calling Dan and signing up (with my sister for motivation!). After the first day of weigh in, measurements, and initial fitness assessment, I was eager to start the following Monday.

I didn't really know what I was getting into, but through the EXCELLENT coaching provided, I actually found myself looking forward to class (and I go to the 5:15 AM class so that is really saying something!) I learned that I love the kickboxing days and have grown so much stronger thanks to the resistance bands days.

Dan (and all of the other coaches) provide ample information about the nutrition, offer to look at your food logs to make sure you are eating like you should be and help motivate you the entire 10 weeks and beyond.

I am happy to say that I am the $1000 winner from our 10- week class! Although I knew my clothes were fitting better and I was definitely getting stronger, I would never have guessed I was going to get the results I got; it wasn't until I saw the before and after pictures. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I am happier, more confident and have found my gym home at FXB.

If you are thinking about doing this 10- Week Challenge, DO IT! You will be rewarded for your hard (and fun) work, eating well and get to reap the benefits; sometimes financially, but regardless you will look better and feel better!

Going to the gym was boring and most the time you don't know what to do so we were never consistent. I've been a believer and a member ever since, signed up for a year membership and the 1 year national challenge. I never would have guessed that I would have met so many great people! This gym is like a family. I've made some life long friends. We have people of all shapes,sizes, ages and abilities. Everyone is encouraging,motivating and supportive. Timing is everything. I was looking into kickboxing and saw an ad on Facebook for Farrell's eXtreme Bodyshaping in Denver. I was intrigued and emailed for more information about the 10 Week Challenge. I didn't expect to get a call back on Memorial Day, but I did from Dan Dorenkamp, the owner, and he patiently answered all my questions. I only had a couple days to decide if I wanted to join, as the next challenge started on June 1, 2013.

I was scared to death, I have never been one to workout and had reached my highest weight ever. When I went in to see the gym and sign up, I was reassured by Dan and other members that I could do it. Well they were right! These were 10 weeks of the most intense workouts I have ever done, in the most encouraging atmosphere I could have hoped for. I was shocked and humbled to be selected as the grand prize winner for the biggest transformation! I lost 20.2lbs, 15.75 inches and 3.2% body fat in 10 weeks. I also did many more push ups and sit ups in a minute, proving the strength I gained. The final mile run - I was actually able to run some of it, cutting off one minute and 30 seconds from the beginning.

I am so thankful for FXB on Colorado Blvd. as owner Dan; the instructors; my coach Melanie; and the other members made it an incredible experience for me. Everyone holds each other accountable and friends are made quickly as we are all sweating and trying to catch our breath together. Forty-five minutes, six days a week was challenging but doable for me, I even had perfect attendance!

My transformation continues at FXB and I am looking forward to even more results. I will be fit by my 40th birthday that is coming up. I am $1,000 richer :) which is amazing, but I can't put a price on how much stronger and healthier I feel. I am proud of myself and everyone else I have met. If I can do it, anyone can and should!

I am grateful to have completed the initial 10 week program at Farrell's eXtreme Bodyshaping. Something new and different has happened that I am very excited about. I have had an adversarial relationship with my Endochronologist for the last five years. He is always lecturing me and demanding I loose 30 plus pounds to avoid chonic medical issues and to get off of meds that I have been maxed out on for years. To this point I have never been able to meet this demand. He is always predictably alarmed and upset that my weight has never dropped to an acceptable range in any of the five years I have been treating with him.
Thanks to Farell's this is changing. During the ten week program I just completed I lost 16 pounds and took 4 inches off my waist. I see the doctor next week, and for the first time in my time with him I will not have to come up with one of my flimsy excuses (he has heard them all) about why things never seem to get better.
I realize that this past 10 weeks is only the beginning of a marathon for me. As a new FIT Program member I have set my sights on new goals that are in continuity with the initial goals of working towards health and well being during the next year. I appreciate that Farrell's has early morning and late afternoon classes to meet the demands of my work schedule which normally approaches 70-80 hours a week. I have enjoyed meeting and working out with people who have been in the program and have made remarkable changes in during this past year. They are proof positive that the program works not only in the short term but in the long run as well. Dan and his team of instructors are always participating in the workouts, and the atmosphere is positive and upbeat.

Without a doubt, joining Farrell's was the best decision I have made in 2013. I began my 10-week program in January 2013 and I never left. I intended only to do the 10-week program and then move on. You know, just for a little "jump start" to get back on the road to trying to get fit. But the results I experienced during my 10 weeks were undeniable proof that there was something extraordinary happening at Farrell's. And with such incredible results, there was no way I was leaving. Now, 8 months later, I have lost 27 lbs., 17.4 inches, and 6.2% body fat. At 35 years old, I am wearing smaller pants than I wore as a 15 year old. No, I'm not kidding. I am more fit, more toned (who knew I had some muscles under all that fat?!), healthier and happier than I have ever been. I will be at Farrell's for a long time to come and I am so excited to see what happens next in my Farrell's journey.

This program might be the best kept secret, but now I'm sharing it with the world. I wanted to drop some weight before I got married but I never expected results like this! I started out squeezing into a size 14, now I'm comfortably fitting into a size 4. The 10 week program was just what I needed to get my diet back under control and address my overeating habits. The 1 year challenge kept me on track and pushed me further than I ever thought I could go. The support I continue to receive from Dan and the other members is by far the best part. I want to share my 10-week journey @ Farrell's Colorado Blvd to provide support to this place that transforms lives. At first I was a bit skeptical given that I am pretty active as a whole. But somewhere in the last 2 years, I had gained 10 unanswered pounds and I couldn't shake it no matter what I did. I woke up most weekday mornings at 4:30 AM to get to the gym by 5:15 AM. I'd work out for 45 minutes, head back home, get ready for work and then head to work. This went on for 10-weeks. I ended up losing 9 lbs, 6.75", dropped two pant sizes and can do 50 REAL push-ups in 60 seconds. I continued with the program after my 10 weeks and have lost a total of 16 lbs! Thanks to Dan Dorenkamp and Farrell's for helping me take my fitness to another level. There is no magic pill or elixir...it's simply hard work, consistency and dedication.

What can I say, the results speak for themselves!

In their 10 week boot camp program, I lost 4.7% body fat, reduced my mile time by over a minute, did 30 more push-ups & 21 more sit-ups in a 60-second period.

They give great nutritional guidance, and all you have to do is keep showing up to class! I now have more energy and feel 10 times better throughout the day.

This program is unbelievable. I just completed their 10-week extreme bodyshaping bootcamp, and it truly transformed me. The other day, I ran into one of my neighbors, and they didn't know who I was. I lost over 30 lbs. of fat while gaining 12 lbs. of muscle in just 10 weeks. Unreal!

I also agree with other reviewers who said "Owner/trainer Dan Dorenkamp is as good as it gets." He really cares and will do everything he can to help you reach your goals.

I had no clue what I was signing up for! A friend of mine had asked me to join, and I thought, why not...

I'm the guy that visited McDonald's drive thru every morning on my way to work. I had joined a gym and went 4 times in 2 months. I needed accountability. Farrell's eXtreme Bodyshaping, specifically, Dan, Jolene and Melanie (my coach) made sure the accountability factor was in place for me.

I started out not being able to complete 2 sit-ups in ONE MINUTE!

The 10 week program was the toughest thing I ever did. The workouts 6 days a week, the change my meals and meal planning. It was amazing! In 10 weeks, I lost 26 pounds, 2.25 inches off my chest, 4.25 inches off my waist and 3.75 inches off my hips! I had my blood pressure medication cut in half! I did this without starving myself, and quite honestly, I had fun going in every day.

I was so impressed with this program, Dan, Jolene and Melanie, that I got a friend to join for 10 weeks. I also signed up for the next year as a FIT member.

I highly recommend this program to anyone who is looking to make a life change. It is far better than going to the gym and walking/jogging on a treadmill. It is a perfect balance of kickboxing and resistance training.

I have always avoided a class environment (and for a long time avoided working out all together), but this is a great workout and a lot of fun. There is no way I would work out this hard on my own - ever! Three days per week of Kick Boxing (cardio) and three days per week of strength training with bands. It's a great feeling to move up to the next band and know that you are stronger. Tons of Ab work. I am amazed at how great I feel. Give this a try - you WILL BE surprised!

I did my Farrell's 10 week challenge over a year ago and my favorite thing is the comradery! I love working out with people, pushing each other and making great friends to boot! Also it is only 45min long, so you are in and out and on with your day. But don't be fooled it is an intense workout but the program is designed for ALL ages and abilities!
