Lana is an amazing trainer I had a goal I needed to hit for the military and she helped me get there even when our time was cut short unexpectedly. She knows how to get good muscle not just pretty muscles. Highly recomended she has great equipment and is creative with it as well. Very clean place, well maintained. I have had a great experience at FGF thus far, and highly recommended Karen Byers for personal training. She comes to each session prepared and energized, and each workout is well-balanced and effective. I wanted to get more comfortable with lifting heavy, and she has given me exactly what I needed! I’ve been training with Lana and can’t recommend her enough. She kicks my butt—in the best way—helping me get stronger, fitter, and closer to my personal goals. Every workout is challenging and varied, but always tailored to what I need most. Lana really listens. Husband and I have been going now for about 3 months and we love it. Emily has been super flexible with our schedules and never fails to kick our butts in the one hour session. We focus a lot on strength with TRX and I definitely see and feel a difference. Emily’s always checking and adjusting our form so I feel confident we’re learning to do everything the correct way and not forming bad habits. Honestly, she earns the 5 stars alone for her willingness to work with a married couple that MAY bicker from time to time! :-p. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve been coming here off and on since 2016. Keep coming back no matter what it seems like even now living 30 min away. Nick is great both personally and professionally. Classes are always fun and no matter who the trainer is I always feel like I am pushed to improve. Small, tight nit community. Classes are typically 3-7 ppl so it doesn’t feel like you get lost in the shuffle.

I have been working out at FGF for about 6 months and train with Nick. I have tried multiple trainers and Nick is at the top of the list. He develops an individual workout plan for each session and tracks the exercise, weight used, and count. I love that we rarely do the same exercise in a week. He seems to know exactly how far he can push me, which is much farther than I would ever push myself. FGF is based on fitness for life; living a healthier lifestyle. FGF is not about insane workout schedules because they understand that is not sustainable in the long term. I actually look forward to going to FGF instead of feeling like I "have" to or "should" go. It is now just a part of my life which is why stay. I am stronger and simply feel better since starting at FGF. And the atmosphere is inviting, not intimidating and the space is always clean.

Nick is the best trainer in town. I have been going to FGF since they opened in the RINO area. I have been able to lose over 30 pounds through personal training with Nick and taking classes at FGF. His customized approach to each client and personal care make all the difference. My current weight is my lowest since high school (25 years ago), and I have maintained this weight for over a year. After suffering from a back injury I felt pretty uninspired and hesitant to exercise for fear of reinjuring myself. Fight Gravity Fitness and Nick Butler are simply incredible! In the past, I have found it very difficult to stay consistent in going to the gym and getting healthy, but with Nick that's not an issue at all! My first workout session was completely free which I thought was a great way to see if this gym would be a good fit for me. Despite my initial nervousness about returning to working out from a long break, Nick made me feel completely comfortable and has been a constant source of encouragement and motivation ever since!
The gym is the perfect size for both personal training sessions as well as group classes. It also has a lot of really cool amenities which I think are unique and that I personally enjoy. There are spots in the gym where you can leave notes of positivity or encouragement, as well as read notes left by others. There is always great music playing which helps get you into a rhythm while working out. There's even a program where you can monitor your activity level and heart rate on the mounted TV as you exercise - it's really rewarding to see yourself reach the "fire" zone! Another really cool perk I enjoy is no two workouts are the same. Nick spends time thoughtfully crafting a new workout for each PT session so that it's always something new and exciting. Personal training also includes nutrition advice and recommendations which I have found so helpful from both a cooking and accountability standpoint.
So far, I have only been attending personal training sessions at FGF, but I hope to soon incorporate some boxing or yoga classes from here as well! Thank you, Nick, for getting me excited about working out again and for being such a great trainer!

I'm definitely one of those people that will start off strong with a workout routine then let it trail off. Personal training at FGF has been an integral part of getting myself back on track by engraining consistency into my workouts and day to day habits. I have been working out at FGF since May 2017. I went to get myself ready for my wedding. I have enjoyed my workouts and the people. I appreciate having a small group so there can be individual attention. I had never done TRX classes before and they can be as challenging as you make them or less strenuous if you need to back off. I will continue to workout at the gym long after my wedding is over!

I would highly recommend Nick for anyone who is looking for a trainer. I started working out with Nick after I got engaged. I've tried several trainers before and there are a couple things that set Nick apart. First and most importantly he customizes every workout for you. Whenever I have a session with Nick, he's clearly mapped out what we're doing which maximizes our time and he keeps the workouts fresh and interesting with good intensity evolution. Second, Nick is really responsive about modifying workouts when I have an ache or tweak - I appreciate the flexibility and culture of not working through bad pain. Lastly, no hard sell tactics with Nick - he's there to get you to your goals.
Nick is now offering group classes as well as yoga classes. These classes are a great way to mix things up too.

I've been struggling between only weight-training and only running. Having Nick and Fight Gravity Fitness has been a great median. He keeps my heart pumping with lots of cardio while working my muscles through body weight and resistance band training. Nick knows what he is talking about.
