Very friendly instructors and overall great energy! I like that you spend the first five minutes or so truly stretching before strength training. Could I do it myself at the gym? Maybe. But I get a good playlist without headphones on, community, a great fitness room, accountability, and an instructor available to ask questions when I don’t know how to optimally do the exercise. Definitely worth the investment. Added bonus that you get 4 each of high ride spin and river yoga classes if you have a particular monthly membership. Thank you FITC.

FITC offers such great workout classes and an even better community of people! I started going to the group fitness classes about 2 months ago and i have really enjoyed meeting new people in the community and the workouts are hard - but you feel great after! Stefan and the other instructors motivate, educate and offer a very comfortable experience to reach your physical goals. I have been going 1-2 times a week and hope to keep going even more! If you are looking for a great group fitness strength or weigh class with a cardio aspect - Fitness in the City is the nest place to go!

When my gym closed down I was so sad to have to find a new home...until I found FITC. I've been at FITC for a month now and love it! Great variety of classes (cardio, strength circuit, weight lifting, metcons) and the ability to also take classes at High Ride and The River Yoga. The coaches are friendly and knowledgeable and will work with you to modify for injuries if needed. The classes are well-organized with lots of different formats and movements to keep it interesting. So glad I found this gym!

I finally found a gym that meets all my needs! I started with a two week trial and loved the small class sizes, the great community, and the incredibly kind + helpful instructors. I now have an unlimited membership and really appreciate that they partner with The River Yoga and High Ride Cycle so that I can mix it up. Amazing community, the coaches are incredible, the workouts are always different, and I've noticed despite being super sore, the time goes by quicker than other workout classes probably due to the variety and good vibes. As a newbie to strength training, I've learned a ton and I'd say it's beginner friendly, although judging on the level of fitness and tenure of some of the members (some with 1000+ classes under their belt), its the kind of place the scales up to your level and gives a great workout time and time again. The music is curated, it's really good, and it makes all the difference!

Wow! I’ve been to many gyms over the years and this one is fantastic! I love the trainers, the classes, the facility! It’s super clean. They really care about their members. I also love the option to take 4 classes at the River (Five Points), with the monthly membership. The price is right! I have some back and shoulder pain, and they always modify when I need it. I just started going to FITC within the last month or so and can't say enough good things about it. The trainers and community are absolutely incredible. FITC is by far my favorite gym in Denver. The intensity of the workouts and attentiveness of the coaches make FITC worth every penny. Each coach provides excellent support throughout the workouts & are always there if you have any questions regarding the various movements. FITC strives in building a strong community with its customers which is an aspect I love. In addition, it’s partnerships with High Ride Cycle and River Yoga is yet another bonus. FITC monthly membership gets you 4 classes a month at each business! Overall, joining FITC was the best decision I have made in pursuit of my fitness goals. I was so sad that I had to leave my gym in Nashville when I moved to Denver. My hopes were to find a similar gym that fit all my needs: a gym that focused of both strength and endurance building, had a welcoming community, a consistent attendance of members, and was ultimately themselves. I tried out so many gyms in town to find the place that checked off all those boxes. Nowhere seemed to click like I wanted it to, until I tried FITC. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by whoever is coaching the class, along with many inviting members. The workouts are great in the fact that you can make it as challenging as you’d like based on what you are comfortable with. Each day is completely different, so you’ll never be bored from monotonous programming, but still feel the results so you know it is working. FITC is a must try!

I had heard of FITC for years and finally decided to try it out. After doing some trials with other workout classes, I can say that FITC has been my favorite so far. It really feels like it's more focused on actual "fitness" compared to a lot of other classes than cram in as many different activities as possible. My wife and I were in Denver for a trip, and someone recommended we check Fitness In The City out to get a vacation workout in.
The class was awesome! The instructor, Paige, brought high energy and a killer music playlist that we found ourselves dancing to in between sets. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and a bunch of their members introduced themselves to us, and even gave us hi5s throughout good vibes all around. It’s totally not intimidating- and the people in the class seemed to come from all walks of life- very inclusive!
You can tell that the owners, Eric and Stefan, really care about community and making bonds with their members. One girl we talked to had been with them since the day they opened.
If we lived in Denver, we would be signing up for memberships to this place in a heart beat.

All of the works are different with functional whole body exercises that are always challenging but not overwhelmingly so.

I never thought I’d join a gym but after my first Fitness in the City class 2+ years ago, I was hooked. Walking in, I knew nothing about kettle bells, meta circuits, or proper technique - but that didn’t matter. The instructors are welcoming and help you understand any move and station. The members are friendly, supportive and encouraging. As a runner that was constantly battling pain and injury, the classes at FITC worked all the target and problem areas that I was too lazy to do physical therapy for. FITC has challenging small group classes - Power Hour is a killer strength workout and Metacircuit is a dynamic cardio HIIT style workout. The gym’s vibe has a communal atmosphere that you can’t find anywhere else! All the instructors are high energy and incrdedibly motivating. All classes are challenging and for all levels (they will modify if needed). I did ClassPass for a while and this is best place to get your sweat on!

I am a little picky when it comes to gyms. Okay... Im really picky. I love taking classes vs using an open gym, but I’m either too intimidated or get bored after a month of classes because they are all the same.
I tried FITC after a friend raved about it and I can’t give enough stars. I have now been a member for almost three months (longest I have consecutively committed to a gym!) and I love it!! There’s no sign of me stopping anytime soon. The classes are different everyday, I’m constantly challenged and motivated, and I’m having so much fun! The coaches are great and have educated me and helped me understand the proper technique and form so I don’t injure myself! The Heads-Up coaching bracelets allow you to set your own pace and listen to what your body needs, and it gives the coaches an idea of how much they can push you and challenge you!
I love every single class I have taken here, and look forward to many many more! Thanks FITC!

Whether you're a resident or looking to get a sweat in while in town you're coming to FITC! From the music you jam out too while in a class to the instructors and how they relate to you they get you into gear!
All around one of the best workout experiences you will find in the Denver metro. If you are wanting a cardio workout they run it, lifting they have it, or want to get in some yoga they offer it. YOU WILL NOT BE disappointed.

Everyone is so friendly and the classes are incredibly well programmed! I've tried out many group fitness classes at other gyms, and power hour here is by far my favorite one to go to. I love that it's focused on strength and not just an all out cardio session.

Been a member here longer than any other gym. The workouts are challenging and diverse. The people are suspiciously friendly in a way where I've actually made friends at the gym and I'm concerned they're only my friend because they can workout better than me. And best of all is they really want feedback and want to improve their offerings every day. Makes going to a gym easy when they're working as hard to improve as you are.

The best gym I've ever been to. I used to be that person that bopped around between gyms, getting dealz and using Classpass, but now I'm found my home. Every trainer is exceptional, and the mix and times of the classes are fantastic. But the best part is the community that they foster. When you start going regularly you'll make friends you want to not just work out with, and that's something you rarely find. Try a free week and then get on board the FITC train!

I absolutely love working out here. The environment is very welcoming and not intimidating at all. Every workout I have been to here, is challenging and a great quality workout. I have been to a lot of gyms, and have had personal trainers throughout the years. I can honestly say the workouts here and the motivating environment are some of the wonderful qualities about this place! You will not be disappointed working out here.

Took the Rhythm Revolution spinning class on Fridays. Had a really great time. Using EDM as a workout incentive is great way to teach yourself to enjoy spinning!
