When I started, I was struggling with persistent lower back issues and just generally needed to get back into shape.
Matt is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping you reach your goals. He took the time to understand my limitations and concerns, especially regarding my back, and tailored the workouts to ensure I was building strength safely and effectively. My lower back pain has significantly improved, and my overall fitness level is better than it's been in years.
I particularly love the small group workouts. The atmosphere is really supportive and motivating, and Matt does a fantastic job of providing individual attention even within the group setting.

Matt offers a comprehensive and challenging program that effectively combines strength training and conditioning. The workout program is structured based on individual needs. It's incredibly impressive how Matt adapts each workout routine for each individual during group workout sessions. The variety in exercises and the structured progression keeps the workouts engaging and effective. It's important to note that the program is demanding but incredibly worth it! Im going into my second week (3x/WK) and am feeling more capable with better moods and sleep. I'm excited to see how my strength and body transforms with Matt's help!

I’ve been training with Matt since 2020 & keep coming back despite life’s setbacks! He is extremely knowledgeable & talented with knowing the balance of when to push me & when to give me slack. I’ve trained with many trainers over the years & no one has ever matched his skill in this. He recently added on another trainer and I will say typically I don’t enjoy female trainers yet Kathryn has exceeded my expectations & is just as good at knowing when to push & when to adjust. They both have this second sense and just pop up on me in the middle of a set and say keep going… as many as you can, don’t stop, you got this, get it! And unbelievably I can push out a few more. 😱 💪 😍 I have some major past knee & hip injuries that were debilitating & they have been so good at adjusting things for me while not letting that injury hold me back. I get stronger & more flexible the longer I train with them. He gave me a new me & they can you too. Never give up on yourself & give them a chance to show you how. You won’t be disappointed.

Four Horsman Fitness has been an absolute positive game changer for me and my family. My priorities are to go further and faster on my skis and mountain bike while staying injury free. Matt and Coach K have helped me accomplish these goals for over the past 2 years while helping me set new strength PRs! I love how they adapt their workouts to my individual goals and ability, focus on mobility, and allow for flexible scheduling that works for my busy life. Love this gym! Matt has created such a wonderful environment and community and I'm so happy to be a part of it! Matt tailors his training to each individual, and does a great job making sure you reach your fitness potential safely, while also having a great time. As a female who has never lifted weights before, going to the gym can very daunting. I was made to feel welcome, included and supported. No one is judging, there are no walls mirrors - this gym is a place that you can make progress at your own pace. The trainers are incredible. My body shape is changing in a way that I have never seen before in my life. With consistency and guidance from the trainers you can achieve your goals here. Highly recommend!

Best gym I've been at to date. It's the Goldilocks of gyms. Small and personable, but you don't have to do full price personal training. Well-defined workouts but trainers are attentive to your personal goals, abilities, etc so it always feels tailored. Very happy to have found a gym that I know is the best around.

Matt is a really great coach with tons of experience, I feel like he really takes the time to get to know people and great cues for proper form to avoid injuries. I love that the group classes are smaller so each person gets more attention. There are exercise options provided on a board (e.g. 'squat/lower body', 'cardio', 'upper body: etc.) you can choose which one you want and Matt will change up anything you need in order to fit your personal goals. Highly recommend!

Without a doubt, Matt is the best trainer I've ever worked with. His knowledge of strength and movement is stellar and he actively works to stay on top of the best methods and training strategies. He offer's unique workout plans and provides multiple variations so you’d never do the same workout twice. For me it’s all about good Vibes and knowledge. The gym owner and head coach Matt Horsman has amazing personality and very knowledgeable in his field. If you need form correction or help getting stronger in general or because of an injury Matt is your guy and four Horsman fitness is your place to be. Even if you just want to learn to move your body correctly and work on your mobility this really is your next place to check out. He offers small group classes or private sessions. Also the location is ideal. It’s right off I-70 by ward road. I have been training with Matt for over 4 years. He build a great community of clients that have been with Matt for a long time. I found Four Horsman from a google search looking for a place to lift close to my house, started working out 3 days a week about 7 months ago and can honestly say I've never been happier with my workout routine and the results I've seen. Great Facility and specific training for all levels. I've always felt I had one part of my fitness missing with other programs. Here you will get one hell of a workout in every session, sound advice on food/ nutrition and a great atmosphere and community. Worth every penny.

Coach Matt did an 8 week fitness challenge. For my goal I picked run a 5k. At this point I was not doing any exercise. By the end of the 8 weeks I was running 5ks and even signed up for my first 5k race this year. Matt was an excellent coach and we did this all virtually. He can still over coaching for out of town clients. If you are just getting started on your fitness journey Matt is a great trainer!

I started training with Matt Horsman in January 2021. Since then I have lost a total of 25lb in the past three months. (Roughly two pounds per week) Matt will help you achieve your fitness goals in a safe and healthy time frame. Every month he has provided me with food intake goals and has provided me with a list of foods to eat or not eat. Matt is quick to change workouts and meal plans depending on the person and their needs. He is always on time and will work with your schedule. Not only that, his gym is an uplifting, clean work environment. I would highly recommend having him as a coach.
