FS8 is a great studio and I'd highly recommend. Owned (inspired?) by the F45 team, it's an easy to follow format with a variety of classes focused on different tempos, exercises, etc. involving a reformer. The workout is a nice change from the more intense HIIT and heavy strength classes I typically do while still being challenging. The studio itself is clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. Big fan

This place is exactly what I was looking for. Now being 40 years old, I feel a bit beat up from my feet up after hard workouts. This allows me to still strengthen and also lengthen in the same 15 minute class and not
be intimidated as a guy in a sea of women

Highly highly recommend FS8! I have been taking classes with them since they opened in January, and it has completely changed my fitness routine. I had never taken reformer Pilates prior to FS8, and now I feel so confident and strong with the movements - I have seen such a major improvement on my overall strength! Bonus points for the staff members being so incredible. Love this place so much!

I signed up for a $300 per month membership. I didn’t use it because I had complications following a surgery. I was told by one of the instructors that it was refundable. I called, emailed, and visited their studio to cancel my membership. FS8 LO-Hi said I couldn’t be refunded, which I am fine with. However, all my efforts to discontinue my membership has not been successful, and I am still being charged $300 per month. This is hands down the worst pilates studio I signed up with.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great Pilates experience in Denver! And if you get the chance to, definitely take a class with Madison, Lauren, or Charlotte!

Obsessed with this workout program, the location and instructors/ staff. I am new to the area so I found their intro offer through Instagram, which was so $reasonable$ for Pilates. Then, the experience blew me away. I sweat just as much as in my high intensity workouts but I don’t feel like I’m going to injure myself doing it, and I’m consistently sore in the best results-driven way! The studio is in the best location on LOHI, right off the freeway, in the middle of lots of cute restaurants and coffee shops, and it’s always pristinely clean. Last but not least, everyone who works there is so nice and helpful. Millie, the studio manager, couldn’t be better! Needless to say, that intro offer turned into a membership and I’m not going anywhere else.

I have been coming to FS8 since they opened in the beginning of this year! I can’t say enough amazing things about the studio, the instructors, the desk managers, the classes, everything is perfect. The classes challenge me and work my body in a way the compliments my other days working out spent at f45. Each class feels very different and keeps it very interesting and fun. I would recommend anyone to try this studio out!

Hands-down, the best Pilates studio in Denver! The space itself is gorgeous, clean, light, and bright. Its such a welcoming place to work out. The instructors are all kind, attentive, and genuinely want you to feel comfortable while still pushing yourself. I’ve taken a few classes now, and after each one I leave feeling revitalized, stronger, and more confident in my body. It’s truly a full-body workout that balances challenge with flow.

If you want pilates, go to literally any other studio in Denver. There are probably 20 options better than this.

It is very clear that the instructors are not trained in pilates, they are trained in strength. The head instructor is a hyrox athlete, which if you know what that is, is extremely different from pialtes. The movements are rushed, not corrected, and I personally did not feel anything. I left feeling like I waisted my time, which I never feel in any workout class.

Beyond the workout itself not being great, the head instructor was extremely rude. I walked in and she immediately called me out for something I was wearing, and then proceeded to yell in front of the entire class that I had a small amount of paint on my butt. Im sorry I was painting my house women. It felt very rude, and bully-like. Luckily I'm not new to working out, so just brushed it off and hoped she had a better day. But if I wasn't comfortable in a workout setting, this would have made me very sad.

DO NOT GO HERE.

FS8 is great for anyone wanting to get into Pilates! It’s not too tough and really easy to follow along with the exercises up on the screen, and you can definitely make it more tough if you want to with weights and springs. I also love the big windows and lighting - it’s a nice change from the other Pilates studios with dark rooms.

I was honestly skeptical before coming here—I’ve been to so many studios where you spend the hour doing movements that feel more like a warm-up than a workout, and the next day your muscles feel *nothing* all while getting zero feedback on form or positioning. I was ready for more of that... but this place completely proved me wrong.

This studio is just what I was looking for. Every class has a nice flow, challenging, and actually effective. The instructors are fun, knowledgeable and always offer modifications for all skill levels.

This studio is refreshingly down-to-earth. You won’t find any mirrors for Instagram selfies or a crowd of influencer types. The people who come here are just real people who want to move better and get stronger. It creates such a welcoming and non-judgmental atmosphere.

On top of that, the customer service is top-tier. The staff genuinely care and have gone out of their way to help me make the most of my class packages, and I really appreciate that.

All in all, I love coming here!

Great Pilates studio no matter your experience level. They have screens that show you the moves and the instructors fix your positioning if incorrect. They have a variety of classes. I tried one of FS8’s free classes on national Pilates day! It was amazing- what I like best is that it isn’t always just reformer based classes but they have options for other formats (half-reformer half/yoga or even strength training). My body and tight muscles can’t handle the reformer every day so the variety is what I’ve been looking for in a gym! I don’t think you can find a reformer Pilates studio that offers other ways to work out too. The community is very welcoming as well and the instructors are always there to help if you are new to the reformer. Highly recommend!!

If you’re thinking about trying a new studio, I can’t recommend FS8 enough. It’s super welcoming, really clean, and the smaller class sizes mean you get more personal attention, which is especially great if you're just starting out. As someone pretty new to Pilates, I was a bit intimidated at first, but FS8 made me feel comfortable and supported right away.

One of my favorite things is that there are no mirrors, which honestly helped me focus more on how I felt doing the movements instead of worrying about how I looked. It made a big difference in building my confidence.

Also, Lauren is one of the best instructors I’ve ever had. She makes every class fun, encouraging, and genuinely uplifting. You can tell she really cares about creating a positive, safe space for everyone who walks in.

I am a certified Pilates instructor and have been teaching for over 4 years. I wanted to see what FS8 was all about. So I went in without mentioning my Pilates experience… because nobody even asked. Nobody asked me if I had Pilates experience or if I had any injuries which was already a huge red flag to me. But I proceeded. I did not get a run down on the reformer- no mention of the spring tensions, gears, head rest, or straps. The trainer did mention how to take the jumpboard off and put the footbar up though. I honestly had no idea what to expect. There was no mention of what we were about to do and I wrongfully assumed it would resemble Pilates because we were on the reformers. I don’t believe that these “trainers” or at least the one that I had have any actually training or knowledge about Pilates or the reformers. Thank god I was able to modify on my own so I wouldn’t hurt myself. Anyway, we proceed to do a weak rendition of footwork with barely any springs on so I don’t understand how that was supposed to warm me up? I would’ve added springs if I understood what we were supposed to be doing. There was no mention of spring modifications or options. There’s a screen with a demonstration of the exercises and a timer, and the trainer does a different demonstration and keeps looking at the screen to see what’s next. Everybody is doing something different. The trainer gave absolutely no form cues or modifications or safety run downs on transitions in any of the exercises. The spring settings were simply not suitable for any of the exercises. Someone can seriously get hurt in these classes. It was all weird. I don’t understand the purpose of the workout or flow that we did. I did not get a good workout and I did not enjoy my time. Thank god I used class pass credits otherwise I would be asking for my money back. Studios like this ruin the Pilates industry and I hope people don’t go in expecting Pilates because it is truly not and it’s dangerous!!!!

There's a lot of chatter in the Pilates world about what is and isn't Pilates. I'm a comprehensively trained and nationally certified Pilates teacher (NCPT) who teaches at a traditional (though not classical) studio, and I know a lot of folks who would say FS8 isn't "real" Pilates. Would I agree with them? Maaaaaybe??? But also maaaaabye not??? Do I care? Nope. FS8 offers up super fun, super challenging, nonstop workouts that incorporate exercises and equipment that will be familiar to longtime traditional-Pilates practitioners. The workouts are based on timed intervals rather than repetitions, and it's more about about just moving and sweating and finding the burn than achieving perfect alignment or mind-body-breath connection or finding/moving from your "powerhouse." Plus, you'll get tons of variety with the addition of mat, bodyweight, and dumbbell work, so you'll never get bored. If you know your Pilates principles, great! Bring that knowledge into your workout to get an even better experience! And if FS8 is your first introduction to Pilates, just know that this whole thing is something kinda new in the Pilatesverse. Give yourself at least five or six classes (and some grace!) to learn the lingo and experience the different kinds of workouts they offer. Ask questions. Just move and have fun! I will always love and be committed to my trad-Pilates practice, and to my weightlifting sessions. But in just one month since they opened, FS8 has become my go-to middle ground. And shout-out to Coach Charlotte! I mean, if you're not doing FS8 on Sundays with Charlotte...are you even doing FS8? :-D

This class and this beautiful studio are 12/10 I'm so impressed. Haley was great - she had great energy, and her cues were on point
- I don't know what I'm doing on a reformer so having clear cues is a must for me! She also was super personable and encouraging and didn't make me feel like an idiot when my form needed correcting lol. Also very much appreciate the screens for that reason as well, as a newbie - I find the screens to be very helpful. I loved the format of class, and I will be back!

FS8 is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the stunning, modern studio—everything is fresh, clean, and beautifully designed to create a welcoming atmosphere. Lauren, the instructor, was fantastic—positive, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. She guided the class with clear instruction and great energy, making sure everyone felt comfortable and challenged at the same time.

The workout itself was the perfect blend of Pilates, yoga, and functional training, leaving me feeling strong and refreshed. The equipment is top-notch, and the class flowed seamlessly. It’s clear that FS8 has taken the best elements of boutique fitness and combined them into one amazing experience.

Highly recommend checking it out—whether you're a Pilates pro or a total beginner, you'll feel right at home here! Can’t wait for my next class.

Love this place!! Haley was amazing and I left feeling like a got a great workout while also feeling like I had a great stretch as well. She made the class so easy to follow with her cues, I didn’t even have to use the screens that provide you with a visual of the moves you’re doing. Although that is SUCH a nice feature that I’ve never seen in a Pilates class before. Will absolutely be back and will be bringing more friends with!

I have to say that Sydney is hands down one of the best instructors I’ve ever had! Her attention to detail is incredible, and she always makes sure that every student is comfortable and challenged at their level. Her cues are clear and effective, making even the most complex moves feel achievable. She is so personable and genuinely cares about each student’s progress, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere in every class. If you're looking for a great Pilates studio in town, this place is it.

Loved my first FS8 classes! I've done other reformer classes in the past and love how this one incorporates slightly more intense exercises and mat movements - I definitely got a sweat on during this class and it was challenging. I also love that the movements and timing are shown on screen for more guidance. Haley is fantastic and I'll be going back!

FS8 is a beautiful Pilates studio in Lohi! The instructors are absolutely amazing, personable, friendly and knowledgeable! The work out was just the enough intensity to feel the burn in all the key muscle groups. Haley has been my favorite trainer so far, her instructions and guidance helped me master my first reformer class!

I took two of their free "before opening" mat pilates classes, and those were great, which led me to buy a 3 pack of classes when they opened. I attended my first "official" class (Original Drop Set) on a Saturday, and was incredibly confused/not challenged. The mat work we were doing was straightforward and didn't have the same spice that the free classes had.
To echo the previous review, this class had a brief reformer section. The instructor told us which springs to use, however, did not mention which springs to adjust to for difficulty, which is highly unusual. Just like the previous review, we were told to keep "Blue" and "Yellow." Most reformers classes will have a beginner/intermediate/advanced spring option so that everyone feels challenged and able to modify their workout as needed. While I am not an instructor, I have been to several pilates studios and frequent new ones monthly.
So after not feeling too challenged, I booked their Remix class the next day. That had a bit more challenge, given that we were using weights. However, I feel that the challenge of pilates shouldn't be "we're holding weights the entire class and rarely putting them down," rather, "we are being intentional with the weights and using them as needed to dig deeper."
They have videos of the workout on the screen to guide us, but I'm curious if these are instructor curated or if they simply have to go along with the videos.
All in all, a traditional pilates reformer class or mat pilates class provides more than FS8 does for what FS8 says they are giving.

I was really excited to find a studio that could offer strength focused and reformer pilates classes. I bought the 3-class intro offer. My first two classes were their strength focused classes. Haley and Lauren had great energy and put on a good class despite a few hiccups. I chalked this up to it being a new studio.

For my third class I went to an all reformer pilates focused class. I have been practicing reformer pilates for 10 years. 4 of those years I was an instructor. Within the first 3 moves I knew the trainer, Sydney, did not have proper training and certification for reformer pilates. She inadvertently admitted that when she said she was a yoga instructor. The first 5 moves were all ab work on the box. On the screen I knew the first move was a roll down with a curved spine. The instructor did not cue our spine or abs once. The second move was a flat back hinge and again she did not cue our spine or abs. I watched the others in the class do every move for the rest of the class incorrectly or with poor form.

When we moved using the reformer with our springs, our instructor told us to have 1 blue and 1 yellow and then never told us to change our springs again. I had to change my springs and adjust my box more than 6 times in the class and that's only because I knew the spring setting was incorrect for those moves. One client before class said it was her second time on a reformer. I watched her try to execute a reverse pike to plank with a blue spring on. THAT IS NOT A BEGINNER MOVE! She almost fell off three times!!

Another frustrating thing was there was 10 full minutes used for stretching in the middle of the class!!! Once again this proved the trainers lack of education and inability to create a class with actual flow.

The only thing the trainer could cue was breathing because of her yoga training. Other than that the only things she repeated over and over again were how "worthy" and "beautiful" we all were.

After class, I spoke with another attendee while we walked to our cars and she had all the same complaints. We agreed it was the worst pilates class we had ever been to.

I'm sad to say that this studio is not hiring qualified/certified instructors for an exercise that REQUIRES certification. Yoga training is not interchangeable with pilates. I fear a lot of beginners will end up injured and will never learn how to properly engage their core which can lead to back, hip, and other issues long term.

The studio is clean and beautiful and I do enjoy the screens to show what's next and form, but without a trainer who knows what each move is and how to properly cue it, the tv screen is not enough.

If you want a true reformer pilates class, please try a locally and privately owned studio.
