Grinders Fitness is the real deal. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve already got some ring experience, there’s something for every skill level. It’s not your typical “boxing-inspired cardio” spot like Rumble, Title, et al - there are former pro and amateur fighters teaching that will help you level up. The class schedule is convenient, and my favorite part - there’s light sparring twice a week.

Been going here almost three years now. Awesome gym with great striking and grappling training. Shannon and Albert are both super knowledgeable and technical in their instruction and coaching, both with black belts in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and super impressive resumes in the professional MMA scene. The environment is incredibly welcoming, regardless of your level. The sparring here is super technical—no egos, just solid work. The cardio classes are intense and push you, but it’s worth it. I’ve dropped weight, feel way healthier, gotten stronger, and found a great community of great people. Can’t recommend this place enough!

A really good community gym. Everyone is either minding their own business or really friendly. There's zero intimidating factors whenever I attend a class, and the fitness demographics range from extreme beginners to fit and in shape. I really enjoy this gym a lot, would recommend any of the classes and instructors if you want a serious cardio workout.

This place is a hidden gem. I’m so glad I found it. I did a 12 week transformation here and cannot say enough good things about the staff and community. Shannon was so encouraging and really held me accountable. Everyone here is so welcoming and encouraging. Not only are the workouts fun but I would burn up to 700 calories per class. I was also given strength training workouts and tracked all of my food in the app. The nutrition plan was life changing. It really reset how I approach and think about food. I went from gaining 1-2 lbs a month to losing 10 lbs on this program. If you are on the fence, just do it. This program is so empowering.

You want a workout to start your day, Jessica brings the energy and intensity to get you started right!
You want a workout that makes it feel like it isn’t a workout? Beating up a bag is the best way to go! Shannon is one heck of a trainer! She knows her stuff when it comes to fighting and her classes will get you in shape! She also teaches technical striking if you want to really learn how to fight.

I've been with this gym for almost 2yrs now. I appreciate the variety in the workouts, and the fact that I am constantly challenged. I can honestly say joining this amazing gym 3 year ago was one of the best decisions I ever made. I look forward to walking through the doors and always feel pumped up when I leave.
Shannon has given me a sense of accomplishment by pushing me to do my best. She is an incredible trainer; her encouragement and constant motivation pushes me to heights I never thought possible. Workouts kick your butt. I love that I can see how I am increasing my endurance and strength. I find every class challenging, and the variety of workouts keeps me invested in maintaining a consistent motivation to show up and work hard.
Grinders is not just a gym; it is a community that cares about your health and happiness. It truly is a family! Like for example, the day it was snowing hard, and in my haste to clean the windshield I broke the driver’s windshield wiper, two wonderful Grinders, Max and Haley, jump to the rescue, and even though they were unable to fix it, they offered to follow me to the near AutoZone to replace the wiper. Or Bill’s offer, to take me to the shop, where my car was getting new tires. These are the types of things that make us feel we are valued here.
My favorite part of the environment and culture is that the community is so welcoming and supportive, high fives for job well done or how good you look, and I hear these from many of the members, new or old.
I can’t say enough to Shannon, Albert, and Bill for providing such a great gym.

I have been a member of Grinders Fitness since before it was known as Grinders and started in the old Karl's Dairy building. Shannon and Albert have been amazing trainers. They're always encouraging and willing to provide modifications to the workouts regardless of your fitness level. They will also provide modifications during the workouts for personalized challenges. The workouts are never the same twice. They offer an endless variety; constantly challenging so you are always pushing yourself to improve. They always have energetic music playing, and the facility is clean and diverse in what equipment and room you can use. Albert and Shannon are always open to your feedback and personal concerns regarding any physical limitations. I also appreciate that regardless of attendance frequency, they are always welcoming and happy to see me. I never feel judged for being inconsistent. I am proud to be a GRINDER!!!

On January 28, 2024 I started the Red Carpet Challenge at Grinders Fitness. Starting this challenge has literally changed my life. Back on January 1, 2019 I weighed 131.6 and I started counting calories only consuming, 1200 a day. This had continued until I started the challenge 5 years later. You could say, counting calories was becoming a problem. On 1/29/24 I weighed in with Shannon at 110.2. My body fat % was 18.2%. I was not attending classes at the gym. I worked out at home occasionally 2-3 times a week My nutrition was somewhat healthy. All I ate was protein and vegetables, no carbs, no fruits and sugar free products. With this challenge my whole life changed. After I started the challenge, I no longer counted calories. The habit of counting calories was very difficult for me to break in the beginning, but I DID IT!! No more weighing my food and counting calories after 5 years! Thank you, Shannon Sinn! This program seriously saved my life! Shannon Sinn, who is very knowledgeable in Fitness and is a Certified Nutrition Coach at Grinder Fitness, came up with a nutrition plan to follow. This taught me how to incorporate protein carbs, fats and fruits in to a proper balanced diet. It was so easy to follow. In the end my Final weight on March 9th, 2024 is -106.4 with body fat %. 17.3.

I have to say, the six weeks were long and hard, working out 6 days a week, lifting 2 to 3 times a week when just starting a workout program. That was a challenge in its self. Now, days I’m noticing my muscular strength and endurance has definitely improved. I cannot be more pleased and proud with my performance and results. I plan on continuing with my fitness journey to the fullest. Also, looking forward to having all of the outstanding support of the coaches at Grinders Fitness! They will always be there for you, if you need anything!

I am also grateful for my fellow Grinders. Some who I’ve known for a very long while, and I have met so many new faces as well. Friendly, down to earth people. Grinders Fitness is a very friendly community! Come on in for a free class, you will not be disappointed!! Start your fitness journey at GRINDERS!

Perfect gym for everyone.

I've been coming to classes for a few months now and never once had a bad experience. I've taken the cardio boxing, technical striking, and bjj classes, and all three have been more than perfect. The coaches are all knowledgeable, friendly, and always push you to do your best. The other students are also always friendly, creating one of the most positive learning environments I've ever seen. Perfect for all levels of experience.

P.S. every class I've taken has been one of the best workouts I've ever had. Intense with breaks when you choose at your own pace.

Knowing little about boxing I did the cardio boxing class, the coach Shannon was very inviting and friendly. I did the striking class, the coach made sure I knew what I was doing and praised me along as well... Coaching me! I never felt talked down to or shamed for dowing something incorrectly.
Afterwards I did the BJJ classes, the coach Albert was very knowledgeable, made sure safety was important, the other people practicing were soo helpful and inviting. It really showed the culture this gym keeps, of helping you grow at all levels. 10/10 would recommend!

This gym is amazing and the workout is top knotch! I never leave feeling like I had more to give, and the support and encouragement you get from the trainers is truly genuine. Modification is encouraged as needed based on individual needs and injuries. This workout will change your life. When I was crippled by a week core that was causing lower back pain I was looking for strength and found it here. The workouts are empowering for your body but also your mind. There is nothing better then being challenged to push yourself and the trainers know how to do that. Grinders is by far the best gym i have had the honor of being a part of. This is a family environment, with real people just trying to be the best they can be. We have been welcomed in and treated like we have always been a part of this family and that is an amazing feeling. Whether your goal is to loose weight, get in shape, train to fight, or just be a part of a great group of people, this is the place to be.

Grinders also offers kids classes. We have 3/4 of our children (the 4th would love to but he is just a toddler) in this class and the amount of hard work, resilience, and fun they have is fantastic!
