I wanted to share our experience with the Parent-Tot class at ETC, where our daughter has been attending for a couple of months. Initially, the program was excellent, thanks to the fantastic coaching from Natalie and Katie. They kept the children engaged and structured the class well.

However, our experience changed after a coaching transition. Amy, the owner, took over last week, and the class became disorganized. The warm-up was chaotic and attempts to engage the children caused distress. The first rotation was poorly planned, with unrelated activities like pretending to ride a horse and using a pretend lasso, leading to disengagement. I expressed concern about the lack of structure, but Amy dismissed it, saying parents should provide structure.

Afterward, another parent and I spoke with Amy, but she became defensive. The new coach expressed surprise at the lack of planning, and we hoped our feedback would lead to improvements. However, the next day we received a dismissal notice. In her email, Amy thanked us for the feedback but instead of addressing the issue, dismissed our child from the program.

Other parents also voiced concerns, and I feel it’s unfair that feedback was met with defensiveness rather than constructive conversation. I question if Amy is aligned with the coaching philosophy necessary for this age group. I hope others considering the gym take our experience into account. While Natalie and Katie were outstanding, I encourage Amy to reconsider how she handles feedback.

My son LOVES Gymnastics Etc here in Elizabeth. We have done the parent tot course, summer camp weeks classes and now he's in the Ninja/Boys Class and looks forward to going every week! Amy and Rico are SO KIND and wonderful with the kids, it's one the best hours of his weeks! They are super fair priced for the attention and education they receive...and most of all they have so much fun! Cant say enough great things about this place!

My 8 year old son takes the Ninja Parcore classes and absolutely loves it! We have had great experiences and just signed up for another round! My ONLY complaint it that they don't want more then one spectator per kiddo and the grandparents would love to come!

My 6-yr-old daughter started taking classes here last year! This was her first time trying gymnastics class and she loved it! We LOVE everything about this place, the staff, the classes, the instructors, the fun, the laughs, the relationships! It's fabulous! My daughter has progressed in her skills so much because of the awesome coaches!

this is the best gymnastic place ever. I can't tell you how excellent this place is! I have been going here for many many many years and can't tell you how well the staff and the communication are at this place is. If you are looking for a place for your girl/ boy to d9o gymnastics, tater tot class, movement classes, or anything like that this is the gymnastics to go to. it is right in Elizabeth to go to!!

Spent all of three minutes here trying to get my son signed up for the Ages 5 and up class. The staff is by far the rudest I’ve ever encountered in my life. The female staff member who I interacted with was demeaning to me and insulted my sons physical appearance to our faces. We left with my son in tears! The 5 stars reviews must be coming from close family or friends because I do not understand how you can treat people like that and still be in business. To say I am disappointed is an enormous understatement. If you’re thinking about signing your child up here, BEWARE! We were so excited to get more involved in the local community but will definitely be exploring other options in Parker and Castle Rock. Shame on you Gymnastics Etc!

My 5 year old daughter loves going to Gymnastics here. The coaches are great and will work with the kids one on one during group classes if they see them struggling with an activity (my daughter was struggling with cartwheels).
