Such an incredible place full of wonderful people and teachers. The Gyrotonic lessons have been nothing short of miraculous for helping me with sciatica and stiffness. I leave each session feeling so much better, stronger and inspired to do more. Thank you Jen for creating such a wonderful resource and community.

When I moved to Boulder from California five years ago, I despaired of finding a Gyrotonic studio comparable to what was available in San Francisco. To my surprise and delight, Gyrotonic Bodhi is one of the foremost Gyrotonic studios and teacher training centers on Planet Earth. Jen Dipalo-Peterson, a former Martha Graham principal dancer and a disciple of the founder of the Gyrotonic movement system, is one of the best teachers--in any discipline--I've ever experienced in my life. In taking hundreds of classes with her, she has never repeated the same class twice. Her classes always stretch us (literally and figuratively) and are as joyously soulful as they are rigorous. I'm in my mid-70s, nothing on my body hurts, and I'm strong and flexible with killer posture. Thank you, Gyrotonic system and thank you, Jen. If I could bestow 100 stars, I would.

I'm So Grateful for the Fabulous movement training with excellent professional teachers at GyrotonicBodhi. It's an important component of my aging with great vitality-- I'm almost 80 and have had numerous injuries--yet remain pain-free, strong and flexible--and have a wonderful time in all classes! I've recommended Gyro to numerous people who also have had great results. You'll enjoy the friendly, uplifted and dynamic community!

GB is one of the finest Gyrotonic training centers in the USA and maybe even the entire globe. I have been an active student of this amazing, artful movement & expansion system now for 10 years. Health is the new wealth and this system is absolute gold. I am 66 yo and my Boulder PCP recently told me at my annual checkup "keep doing what you're doing, your health stats are even better than the elite athletes in my practice!" I see myself practicing Gyro for the rest of my life. Thank you Julio Horvath for this amazing gift to the world.

Training at Gyrotonic Bodhi has been an amazing experience for me. The faculty members are all so impressive. They are very warm and welcoming and have so much information to give. Jen, the owner, has created a very supportive community that makes you enjoy the training even more. Gyrotonic Bodhi has helped me so much as a dancer to strengthen my stability, flexibility, and movement quality.

I discovered Gyrotonics Bodhi in 2018 and have been taking weekly classes ever since. When I first took a class, I gravitated to the concept of exercising to improve my spinal mobility while improving strength. I now view Gyrotonics as an exercise for life. The knowledge of the owner, in addition to all of the teachers of Gyrotonics Bodhi, is absolutely incredible. With a variety of group classes and private lessons, you'll be sure to feel taller and stronger after class. I highly recommend you try a class or private lesson for yourself!

Jen is THE BEST
And her studio is incomparable.
While she prefers to let her work speak for itself, I am going to speak for it right here, so that others know where to go for a spectacular experience.
People often ask me what I do for exercise, and I’m always flattered when they do. For nearly 20 years, I’ve been devoted to the Gyrotonic Method and have had the privilege of working with many excellent teachers in beautiful studios. None compare to working with Jen.
Jen is not only a renowned professional dancer of the highest caliber— I remember seeing her perform as the soloist in a Martha Graham piece just four months after she gave birth—she is also one of the most dedicated and generous teachers I have ever encountered.
Despite her extraordinary background, she is never intimidating. Her focus is entirely on you: she sees your body, knows how far to push, gives precise and transformational corrections, and creates an environment of trust and growth. Thanks to her, my body is more flexible and lithe today than it was 20 years ago.
Her studio itself is an extension of her: beautiful, immaculate, and one of only three certification studios in the entire U.S. It radiates excellence while also being welcoming. Jen is as committed to her teachers and community as she is to her students—supporting them, mentoring them, and building a true home for Gyrotonic practice. She goes above and beyond, whether that means teaching a private session at 5:30am or hosting specialized certification workshops.
If you are fortunate enough to work with Jen or visit her studio, you’ll quickly discover the only drawback: it’s nearly impossible to go anywhere else afterwards.
I cannot recommend Jen and her studio highly enough.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Gyrotonic and with Jen Peterson, the owner and my weekly private instructor. Jen is incredibly knowledgeable and attentive—she has guided me with such expertise and care, and the difference it has made in my body is remarkable.
I came in with knee joint pain, and over time I’ve noticed real improvement in both my mobility and comfort. Beyond the physical benefits, Gyrotonic has given me a sense of energy and balance that carries into my everyday life.
What makes this studio so special is not just the method itself, but the people. Jen and the entire team create such a welcoming, supportive atmosphere. There is a true sense of community here—among the teachers and the clients—that makes every class feel uplifting and encouraging.
I always leave feeling better than when I walked in. Whether in a group class or a private session, I know I’m in excellent hands. Gyrotonic with Jen has been a gift for my body and my spirit, and I’m so grateful to be part of this community.

The studio is bright, clean and filled with newer equipment.!The instructors are all excellent, but I do my privates with Jen (super intuitive to my needs). Her hands on have corrected some of my problems being a senior. My movement is much better and so is my balence. I think all ages would greatly benefit.

Jen's Gyro studio is the best! I've been doing gyro for 25 years and it's pretty much eliminated back and joint issues by strengthening my core and improving my body awareness. It's like getting a PhD in your body. You learn how it works and how to use it with strength and grace.
Jen is a master trainer and her staff are experts, extremely well trained and focused. Working out there is always an emotional boost. The atmosphere is calm, serene and a bit Zen like.

I've been doing private lessons weekly for several years now. I feel that it has helped me to stay relatively limber and stronger in a different way than tennis and weight lifting and yoga. It's been very helpful to me. The studio here in Boulder is extremely nice, and the people are also, especially Jen.

Gyrotonic Bodhi is awesome! Gyrotonic and GK are the best workouts for injury recovery, balance and strength, and for breathing and flexibility. All of the instructors are knowledgeable and motivating. The studio is clean, airy and light and well maintained. This practice makes all of my other activities stronger and more enjoyable.

Without the help of the Gyrotonic Bodhi studio I don't know how I could continue enjoying an active lifestyle. I have fairly advanced L-4 L-5 and L-5 S-1 degenerative disk disease and the knowledgable staff at Gyrotonic Bodhi gave me the ability to continue my physical activities in a way that I never thought possible. They taught me how to properly and safely utilize my body for peak performance. I first discovered the Gyrotonic method via a referral from an orthopedic surgeon and since starting, I haven't looked back. This is a true place of physical healing and wellness. Whether you're injured, or not, this place will help you increase your performance.

We are so blessed to have Gyrotonic Bodhi in Boulder! I sought this studio as a supplement to my yoga practice over a decade ago and it has been a life changing deepening! As a yoga therapist, I have a discerning sense and this studio completely opened and expanded my understanding of embodiment and mindful movement! With Jen’s incredible expert guidance, Gyrotonics opened so many new possibilities for me including the way it supported my pregnant and postpartum journeys and my recovery from three emergency abdominal surgeries. I am eternally grateful for this incredible technology and I feel so blessed to have access to this beautiful studio and the expertise of its owner and practitioners right in the heart of Boulder!

For family reasons we recently spent a year in Boulder. While I was here I took the opportunity to work with an instructor at Gyrotonic Bodhi. The studio is amazing both in the amount and quality of the equipment and the supportive atmosphere but the real reason to train here is the instructors. They give highly personalized training, clearly individualized for the student. I always felt challenged but I always felt safe. My instructor spent a lot of time on improving the technical aspects of my exercises and I could see the improvement over the course of the year. It is a great place to train.

I wasn't going to post any reviews, but after a source interaction with the owner, I have to. Please do NOT come here if you have any physical disabilities like hypermobility ehlers-danlos syndrome (I know gyrotonic is recommended in a lot of the online EDS groups). I've been unable to move for over a week due to this place and in crippling pain. I let them know and simply asked for them to become more informed of the common condition so they can tailor their private sessions for EDS customers, and the owner said absolutely nothing about my pain but instead deflected blame stating they didn't pair me up with the instructor (that wasn't even my point).
They also have bait-and-switch business practices when it comes to paying for the private sessions. The website and on-site flyers all state $360/6 sessions, so one would think the sessions are $60 each. Nope, AFTER the class, they'll suddenly tell you it's $75! Apparently this is in the fine print on the website, but it should still be very clearly disclosed before even booking. I was told to book via text with no explanation of higher charges.
No consideration of non-uber wealthy Boulder residents either. Only come here if you're in the top 1%. They have no comprehension of what having an average or low income is like. None.

I first discovered Gyrothonic Bodhi just a year ago after meeting another person who was raving about this practice. And now, I feel over the moon with the addition of this movement and work to my fitness and wellness regimen. As part of my routine, I lift weights, practice pilates, and dance. I also love to hike, rollerblade, snowboard, and surf.
Gyrotonics complements all my movement practices and adds an array of unique and wonderful benefits that are improving my performance in everything I do while inviting a unique and one-of-a-kind way of moving my body.
Gyrytonics is helping me improve my mobility, articulate and stretch muscles that have gone unattended, strengthen my joints, and improve my spine and overall skeletal integrity, as well as my posture.
So, while Gyrotonics is a wonderful fitness regiment in it's own right, the equipment and its effects on the body are also healing, restorative, and balancing, and I can see its tremendous benefits in injury prevention.
With its addition to my life, my need for bodywork has lowered—because it is a beautiful form of bodywork in addition to all the other magic it fosters for the body.
Boulder is a mecca for all things related to health, wellness, and body maintenance—and here is ANOTHER gem among the buffet of incredible practices, studios, and practitioners available here.
I am so grateful to Jen, the studio owner, and her incredible team for this beautiful gift to Boulder and my life.
I can’t recommend it enough.

Gyrotonic feels like what my body has been yearning for for years. This practice meets my body where it's at with strength, gentleness, and attunement. I've noticed ease in pain in my shoulder and hip, length in my spine, and deeper nervous system regulation. All of the instructors are skilled and welcoming. My partner and I have had privates with Nathan and we both can highly recommend sessions/classes with him! I felt right at ease in my first session with him and his hands-on adjustments are so good!

I have a history of on-again, off-again back issues. Over the years, I've tried various strengthening and healing modalities, which provided some relief. However, it wasn't until I discovered Gyrotonic Bodhi and started weekly sessions with owner and master trainer Jen DePalo that my underlying postural dysfunction was effectively addressed. This has resulted in a newfound freedom of movement that I hadn't experienced in years. If you're looking to invest in your health, strength, and overall well-being, I highly recommend Gyrotonic Bodhi—it has made a tremendous difference for me!

Whether you are a young, professional dancer or athlete, an older, dancer or athlete, someone who has never had a deep connection with their body who wants to work on flexibility, strength and control, add this to your routine and tell your physical therapists about it-it is an excellent adjunct. Not only is it a great workout for your body, it’s great for your brain too!

Thanks to friends who mentioned "strength building AND flexibility" I found Gyrotonic Bodhi here in Boulder CO. To learn about the methods and how to properly use the machines I started taking private lessons and absolutely loved it. After just 2 sessions with my trainer Jenny Bousquet I noticed increased movement range and resilience. The improved strength helps me tremendously in my (many) other sports I am involved in. I absolutely love the new location and training spaces. As a "typical Boulder" hiking, skiing, tennis and running enthusiast I am really glad I found this place with its awesome teachers and beneficial training methods.

After doing years of yoga, extreme sports, gymnastics and dance, at 40 I found that even though I’m a trained therapeutic yoga teacher my body was falling apart. I discovered Gyrotonic Bodhi after a bad fall on the ice with a head and spinal injury and now after 2 years of practice at 43 yrs old am in the best shape of my life with no back pain. My chronic migraines are going away as well due to the nervous system unwinding techniques that the instructors at Gyrotonic Bodhi are highly trained in.
