I cannot say enough positive things about this location. I just did my first hot yoga class and it was incredible. The instructor made me feel so comfortable and kept it front of mind that “I’m here for me today.” I feel so good walking out of here today and Carlee, the wonderful team member that helped my friend and I, made me want to come here (the Lakewood location) specifically every time. Her kind energy and thorough tour made me nothing but excited to come to Hotworx. Thank you so much Hotworx team for providing a great, safe space with great culture. <3

9-month update:
This location is still the absolute best! Continues to be spotless every single time I visit and the staff are always friendly/welcoming. I love how clean the FX zone is kept and I’ve used it more and more during my visits. I’ve seen so many fun events for members pop up, from a paddleboarding yoga session to educational presentations. I’ve also noticed significant results after 9 months, and I’ve been able to get a lot of fun merch with the rewards program. Love this place!

I started at this location recently and I’m already obsessed!! I love the digital workouts and the variation between them (the ability to access workouts 24/7 is such a huge benefit). I’ve also had a sauna to myself for all of my workouts thus far, which matches my preference for working out alone. The entire studio is SO clean, and the staff/owner are beyond lovely, friendly, and kind :) The membership agreement was explained to me clearly and transparently (3-month commitment and 2-month cancellation period, for a total of being locked in for 5 months, which is not an issue for me). My absolute favorite gym of all time!!

My wife was a member here. Everything was generally fine. She called to cancel her membership because it was summertime and she was doing more outdoor workouts. They told her she needed to cancel online, so she went on and did that immediately…fast forward a month and she was still being charged.

She called to get the charge reversed and had to go through 4 different phone calls. Finally the owner called her and insisted that she must have done it wrong on the website. The manager refused to reverse the extra charge even though they had a record of my wife calling trying to cancel and could clearly see she had stopped using the gym in the time in questions.

It is a shame because my wife had planned on using the gym in the future. They intentionally make it difficult to cancel the membership and lost future business because they couldn’t do the right thing and be reasonable.

This place was awesome but members beware....I had to cancel my membership due to me relocating to another job.....mind you there are not many hotworxx that are near by.....the cancelation fee is 100$ on spot or as they call it "free 2 month cancellation" but still pay for your membership even though you're not going to be able to go to it due to moving! Either way it's still 100 maybe even more if you do the math of 59 a month for 2 months.....waste of money! The fact that you can't even bring your own yoga mats and they make you pay to use one of theirs...or one of theirs is 80$ like they are really in it for the money idc what anyone says....glad this will be my last month paying for a service I am not even able to use.

I have been going to Hotworx for 2 years, one year at the Alameda location. This particular location is wonderful, well organized, super clean and friendly ( thank you Christopher!)
I have healed many joint pains, and I am never sick. I am rarely sore the next day and get a sense of well being after my workouts. I highly recommend!

After trying over 20 facilities through ClassPass over the last 2 years, I have finally found a gym that has it all. Before, I would go to a rower class, a weight lifting class, a barre class, a yoga class, and a sports recovery center for IR sauna and just rotate through them week to week. But I would never be able to take advantage of all of them when I wanted to because of how long the classes were and the commute to each gym. So for me, HOTWORX has changed the game and literally has it all, everything that I listed above. HOTWORX has saved me so much time over the last month without sacrificing my fitness or wellness goals. And did I mention that the monthly membership is less than my ClassPass?? Everything is meticulously clean, I can always find a class when I want it, the app is easy to use, and I love that I have 24 hour access. There’s even a shower to rinse off the sweat. Come try a class - you won’t regret it 🙌🏻

Great place! The manager was awesome. I think his name was Chris? I can't remember. Very clean and neat. The manager was very welcoming. I didn't care for the other guy that wore a hat but it didn't ruin my experience there.

I love this place. The staff and the owner are fantastic, and it’s such a great workout. After playing collegiate basketball, I was burned out from regular lifting and traditional cardio. I tried Corepower in the past and I loved it but I couldn’t justify the price point. Hotworx, especially the Lakewood location, brings so much value to the table (at a quarter of the price). The people are great, and you get to choose from a variety of different workouts. I love how efficient they are, especially in a short amount of time. I also love being able to book your own private workout session in the sauna or being able to do functional training with weights. One of my favorite things is the 24/7 access- if you’re on the fence, it definitely worth a try (you get a free workout session).

I kept hearing my friends talk about HOTWORX and how they love the workouts. I finally joined 9 months ago. They were not wrong. The combination of heat and infrared light never leaves me sore after a workout. I have worked up to 45-60 mins at a time and can go back to back to back days with no soreness. It really allows me to push hard everyday. All the staff are so nice and friendly. The owner Sundee is amazing and has really built a community at her location. Try it, you won’t be disappointed!

I thoroughly enjoy the Hotworx experience, with my schedule sometimes being all over the place it's nice that I can go in at any time and have access to the saunas and workouts. It's a great compliment to strength training and other outdoor activities I do throughout the week!

Sundee and the rest of the staff are also very sweet, warm and welcoming and as a Doctor of Physical Therapy I also highly recommend it to my patients/clients and others for cardiovascular health & mobility maintenance

I joined Hotworx a little over a month ago. I was looking for a workout that would help after having a baby and having a ton of back issues. Paired with my chiropractic work the infrared sauna really helps with inflammation. My joints have been feeling better and I love the 24/7 schedule being a busy mom.

If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Everything from the layout of the gym, the staff, and the workouts themselves are everything I've been looking for. I've never been one to enjoy the gym experience but this one really changed my mind. Its such a supportive environment and everyone is always so friendly. I love the hot sauna workouts and all the benefits that come with them. The whole place is so clean and the bathroom and shower especially, has great water pressure. I have even found my new hairdresser, favorite smoothie place and a new physical therapist through hotworx because of all the local business support they share! The owner is so nice and the rest of the staff are fantastic and quick to answer any questions. Plus, the 24 hour access is just too convenient. I really can't think of a single thing I don't like about this location. I went from someone who fought any kind of physical activity, to someone who gets her butt to the gym multiple times a week (usually🙃). 100/10, highly recommend.

I recently was visting friends in Colorado and my friend highly recommend we try a hot sauna work out. I was welcomed by Christopher when I walked in and he was so friendly and gave me a tour of everything. The owner was also there that day and she was so nice and encouraging. I told her what workouts I was used to and she recommend I try rowing first, followed by a stretch workout. The workout was amazing and challenging in a good way. I instantly felt energized after working out and had so much energy during the day. I highly recommend HOTWORX, you will not regret the workouts and will want to join this wonderful gym.

I ended up doing another workout on my last night of vacation and tried spinning, followed by yoga. Another great class.

I want to share my experience so others don’t have the same negative experience… I requested to cancel my membership at the beginning of March due to personal reasons, particularly finding it unbearable how sweaty I get in the workout sauna rooms.

To my dismay, despite my request well in advance, I have been informed that my membership will not be terminated until the end of May. This extended delay is frustrating and makes me feel locked into a service I no longer wish to use. It is disheartening that HotWorx draws customers in with the promise of a low monthly membership fee but then makes it excessively challenging to cancel.

I urge HotWorx Gym to review its membership cancellation policies to provide a more reasonable and customer-friendly process. As a longstanding member, this experience has left me feeling undervalued and dissatisfied with the level of service provided.

I joined HOTWORX Lakewood for active recovery and to supplement my current workouts. Love the infared sauna classes! It definitely surpassed my expectations. Great staff and the space is always clean and organized. The best 24-hour hot workout gym I've been to.
