Amazing yoga studio that offers a wonderful variety of services that address the whole person, mind, body and spirit. Yoga classes for all experience levels, amazing instructors, salt room therapy, massages and workshops .The owners, Jeanne and John are a wonderful, caring couple and have been in business for over 20 years. I recently attended their "Forest Bathing" workshop at their home near Pike's National Forest. It was a truly magical day:) I highly recommend!!

I just did the Forest Bathing Retreat on 9/12/20. It was amazing and so worth the time and money. John and Jeanne opened up their mountain home and welcomed us with all their knowledge and experience through yoga and meditation and good humor.
I will be doing more of the retreats in the future, coming away with so much to help me in the future.

Huge disappointment. We signed up for a 4 month unlimited plan for the whole family. My wife and I then both used the salt spa. The owner comes in at the end of the session to lecture us for moving around the room and for talking. We were the only two people in the room, and this had not been explained to us previously that we were forbidden from these two things. I assume she knows this happened by sitting in the couch outside to apparently watch us. How did she know we spoke? Probably listened outside the room. She then said what we paid for is not unlimited for the family, but just for one person so they reneged on our original agreement. We got our money back. This owner seems fine with creating stress rather than reducing it as a spa should do.

So glad I found this place!! Highly recommended. The instructors are top notch. Spotlessly clean and welcoming studio. It’s a good value - I’ve made it my primary fitness place and get the extra mental benefits of yoga practice.
Personal favorite classes are Yoga Flow (energetic yet calming) and Kaiut Yoga (long slow poses, deep stretches). I feel stronger from both the exercise and breathing. Infrared yoga is their version of hot yoga with dry heat instead of humidity, when I really want to sweat without feeling moldy. For more meditative yoga after a bad day, the gentle yoga works. I can be challenged with intensity when I want to be. Either way!
I’m still pretty new there. Literally everyone knows my name and talks with me. I actually *want* to go exercise, learn meditation, and do yoga. If you’re looking for something — mindfulness, community, fitness, positivity, change, yoga expertise — I’d send you to Inner Connections Yoga.

It is with regret that I must lower my rating of ICY to 2 stars.
Here's my problems with ICY:
1. I don't see how it is humanly possible that this business makes money. I burned through a 10 pack at this studio and I never saw a single class which had attendance in the double digits. At that level of attendance, this business is maybe barely breaking even, if that.
2. I talked to Jeanie Adams, one of the owners, and suggested that they add some more formats. I suggested Bikram and Power Vinyasa Flow. The response: Jeanie said that "Bikram yoga does not offer a complete yoga practice." On Power Vinyasa Flow, she called that "hodge podge yoga". Okay, Jeanie, let me get this straight: You think you know better than Bikram Choudhury and Baron Baptiste what constitutes a valid yoga practice? Do you have any idea how arrogant you sound? Those individuals are two of the most successful entrepreneurs in this business, and you think that you have a better idea of what constitutes a valid yoga practice than they do? Really?
3. Bottom line: The Adamses are resistant to any form of yoga other than their own. And what form of yoga is that? Interestingly, I asked Jeanie what form of yoga they teach. And, interestingly, I got no intelligent response. No problem though. I have seen this form of yoga many times: It's Hatha yoga, i.e. the B.K.S. Iyengar stuff. Now I have no problem with the Iyengar stuff except one: It constitutes about 5% of all yoga that folks pay money for. What do folks actually pay money to take in commercial yoga studios? Answer: 75% Power Vinyasa Flow and 20% Bikram. So Iyengar constitutes about 5% of commercial yoga and that's the only yoga you teach? And you stubbornly insist that Power Vinyasa Flow and Bikram are not valid forms? Now I think we have just figured out why your business is so spectacularly unsuccessful.

ICY has been such a blessing in my life in so many ways. The love, caring, healing and support that I have received through John and Jeanne, the other Yoga Instructors and clients have helped me heal on many levels - physical, spiritual and emotional. I would definitely recommend Inner Connections to anyone!

Inner Connections Yoga (ICY) changed my life. I was recovering from an injury and ICY's classes helped me to return to healthy and then to a new level of wellness I've never had before. It is simply one of the best yoga studios I've ever been to in my entire life. Friendly and knowledgeable instructors teach a wide variety of yoga classes: Restorative, Yoga Basics, Flow, Hot, Gentle, Nidra, Kauit, Ashtanga, Meditation. Whether you feel like dynamic or static yoga poses, flow or slow, beginner or advanced, ICY has it. The owners/operators, John and Jeanne, bring a vast amount of experience and love to their students/clients. The ICY studio is a magical, welcoming place that will draw you in and make you want to stay there. If that's not enough, the new Salt Room and ComuniTEA are a great place to rest, have a cup of tea or just catch up with friends. Do yourself a favor and go check it out. You won't regret it.

When I’m in the studio, I feel like I’m home. The staff is awesome and very helpful. The instructors take the time to get to know each client and their “tissue issues”, assist with proper form and propping as necessary for total relaxation. I’m thrilled that I took the plunge into ICY!!

Regardless if you're looking for a yoga studio to begin your practice or continue your practice Inner Connections Yoga (ICY) can meet all your needs. I began practicing yoga at ICY a year and a half ago and fell in love with the studio, staff, and the numerous classes they offer. The atmosphere is warm and inviting.
The instructors are very friendly and knowledgeable. They welcome you and actually take the time to ask each student if they have any limitations or restrictions that they should know about. Then they make sure to practice poses that assist the students in a compassionate and safe manner.
I tell anyone that will listen that I've grown from the inside-out since practicing yoga at ICY. I'm physically stronger, more flexible, and growing spiritually. I refer to ICY as my "safe haven" because I know I can go there and I'm safe, it's my time, and I'm going to receive awesome instruction from my teachers.

Great place for yoga if you want to breathe. The classes are all amazing. I love how the culture of the studio encourages listening to your body instead of trying to compete with your neighbor.
