About the Club

Inward Fitness is a local and family owned business in Denver. We take a holistic approach to fitness that emphasizes freedom of movement and functional fitness. It encourages individuals to look beyond the external appearance and focus on strength, functionality, and overall well-being. We work from the ground up making sure fundamentals of movement are ingrained as we build on strength and endurance and confidence in movement. Inward Fitness promotes a balanced lifestyle that supports long-term health and happiness, aiming to align physical exercise with mental clarity and emotional resilience. Ultimately, it encourages individuals to listen to their bodies and prioritize self-care as a foundation for overall wellness.

I've been a member with Inward Fitness off and on for the last 8 years, most recently for the last 3. I absolutely LOVE this gym - its well equipped for lifting and strength workouts, including olympic plates. The space is small but incredibly functional, and never feels crowded. The member base is a true community - friendly, respectful.

The coaches are all awesome, and have unique skillsets outside of fitness (nutrition, self defense, physical therapy) - they're all approachable, willing to chat through any topics, and provide a great personal session! I personally work out with Coach Daniel ~1/month, and did a ~5 month nutrition program with Coach Steve. Happy with my results from both, and my ongoing sessions with Daniel.

There are group fitness classes available (I don't personally participate, but they always look like a great workout and a lot of fun).

I highly recommend Inward Fitness!

I’ve known Daniel for around ten years at this point. The community fostered at Inward fitness is unmatched at any other gym I’ve trained at. Unfortunately, I am also incredibly frustrated with them! Daniel Ward has made gigantic, lasting impacts on the Cherry Creek High School Poms Team. Not only does he consistently work with me as the team's coach to ensure that he is providing the right training to get them prepared for different aspects of their sport throughout the year, but he also provides wisdom and inspiration to the team in a positive and thoughtful way. Thanks in great part to Daniel's impressive training, the team was State Champions! More importantly, Daniel provided the motivation and exceptional guided training that helped each dancer on the team achieve their own personal training goals, and increased their stamina ten-fold. We wouldn't be where we are as a team today without Daniel's influence!

Our 16 year old loves working with Austin. We appreciate Austin’s professionalism but also being personal with him. Our son learned a lot from him and Austin is a great role model for him. Josie Spitz is one of the best personal trainers I’ve ever worked with. She is compassionate in doing what she loves and that is to help people get to their fitness goals. Josie is an awesome trainer! My company does group HIIT classes with the gym and all of us are different levels of fit. Josie does an incredible job with finding modifications so everyone is always included and gets a good workout it.

I have loved working out with Bridgette at Inward Fitness! She is the perfect mix of listening and tweaking exercises to meet me at my physical fitness level and knowing when to push me to do more. The gym is very well equipped and clean. I get intimidated waking into a large “do it yourself” gym. It’s so nice to have a professional tailor my workouts, think outside of the box, and guide me through the equipment.

I've been meeting with a personal trainer here weekly since March, after taking a long time off from all exercise. In six months she has helped me absolutely transform my body. My arms and legs looked super toned, and I am so much stronger. I have knee issues, and she has shown me so many things I can do to alleviate discomfort and helped me strengthen the right muscles to keep me from stressing my knees further. This place is the real deal. The trainers know their stuff and have the degrees and experience to back it up!

I've been a client of Inward Fitness for 6 years now. Everything from the staff to the class selection to the equipment is extremely professional. The trainers take their time to get to know you and tailor personal sessions perfectly. The staff not only help you understand your body but also how to fuel and strengthen it. The classes are fun and beneficial, not stuffy and uncomfortable like big box gyms. The equipment is all modern and caters to everything you could think of fitness-wise. Take it from someone who was completely transformed. This place is amazing. I honestly have only been seeing my trainer for about 5 months, not even and I’m a completely different person physically! So much stronger, I look SO much more toned and previous to this I was more “skinny fat” compared to now. I’m not ashamed of my body anymore. Everyone is so very kind and really cares. My experience has been the best. I have worked out at gyms all over but the personal touch coupled with the always different, unique and cutting edge workouts is what keeps me here. I recently compared a before and after pic with my trainer and we both freaked out! I gained significant muscle and love the way I look and feel truly. My trainer is extremely knowledgeable, gets to know me on a personal level, and truly wants to help me achieve my fitness goals. I sent a few photos of what like to achieve and that was that! This is not just a a gym, it is a family. This is a gym that cares about YOU. The boot camp classes are ever changing so you will never feel like you are doing the same workout. Aren't able to do the exercise, no worries, a modification will be provided. The owners, Daniel and Bridgette, have created a space where you have fun, feel safe, and more importantly feel welcomed. This is why I have been a part of this family for the past nine years.

This is a small personalized gym with professional trainers. My husband has bulging disks in his lower back and has tried other big box gym trainers, yoga and Pilates but this is the only place where the trainer is attuned to him and pushes him without hurting/injuring him more.

After all, what gains you get is lost if the exercise hurts you so bad that you can’t continue.
I’m not gonna lie, the personal trainers aren’t cheap, but after a month my husband is feeling better and is more confident in his physical health. This makes it worth it. I’m so pleased we found this gym. A special shout out to my husbands trainer, Tyler. Forever, Inward Fitness.
