I cannot say enough positive things about Kicking for Life. Finding the right environment for my son was crucial, especially after moving across the country. We checked out a couple other places, but as soon as my son came to Kicking for Life, we stopped looking. Master Kellye exceeded all expectations. She and other instructors create a welcoming atmosphere. They make every lesson engaging for the kids, balancing the fun and learning. They are creative at teaching not only karate techniques but also important life skills like discipline, respect, and perseverance.

Martial arts is not about kicking butts. My daughter has learned more than self defense at this dojo. The family atmosphere is very welcoming. Master Kellye is a great role model especially to girls to look up to.
This is an unusual place to get leadership training. My daughter is in the Demo team. She has learned how to lead a team of mixed age kids in practice. She learns self discipline, respect and confidence. She has now blossomed into a very confident young woman.
Thank you, Master Kellye, Shi-jo, Master Jarmond and the leadership team for providing a conducive place to learn and grow.
I would encourage anyone seeking a place to learn martial arts to visit this dojo. Bring your family, there are classes for kids and adults. Not to mention, the Mindfulness class on Friday is a treat. This is a class where you find your zen.

Kicking for Life a true gem! I was looking for places for my son to try karate and wasn't impressed with anything coming up on my search. A colleague mentioned Kicking for Life which happens to be right near our school and close to the house. I could not be happier. The service for the price is unbeatable. Kellye the owner is energetic, kind, knowledgeable, offers great programming, and takes the time to get to know each and every one of her students and families. I can't recommend this place enough. My son is loving it and so are we!

This isn't just for kids. I'm middle aged, and taking classes here helps my confidence at work. After all, if I can do this stuff at my age, what can stand in my way? The instructors are great, and they are able to push kids and adults to do things they may have thought impossible before, and the students end up asking for the next challenge. Great place for kids and adults!

I have been coming here for a few months now for my daughter's preschool karate. I am very impressed with the instructor and the speed at which all the kids improve. I have seen multiple shy quiet kids come in and after a month or so of class they have developed a significant amount of body control and can be heard across a loud room. I am very thankful they started the school here. Also the kids really enjoy class.
