The place is pretty small, only got one room and it was very dusty. If you are sensitive to dust or are allergic to mite, you should avoid this place.

After having my third baby, I needed to regain a ton of strength. Sophia and the Kinesis team are amazing at their jobs, and they know bodies. I've taken nearly 75 classes since then and I've never felt stronger.

Finding Kinesis was one of the greatest gifts of my move to Denver. Rooted deeply in the classical Pilates method, this studio is a true gem for anyone seeking not just a workout, but a comprehensive education in mindful, whole-body movement. Every session here is thoughtful, intelligent, and deeply nourishing for both body and mind.

Working privately with Yevett has been nothing short of transformative! Her incredible knowledge, intuitive teaching style, and genuine care go far beyond
what you expect from any Pilates lessons. She prepared me beautifully for the delivery of my first child with safe, strengthening prenatal work, and made Kinesis feel like home when I needed it most!

It’s honestly hard to count the ways Kinesis has benefited me — physically, mentally, emotionally. I am stronger, more centered, and better connected to my body than ever before. I cannot recommend Yevett and Kinesis highly enough!

I found this place on Google and loved that it was close to me! I've tried other places but they were very commercial, judgmental, and really only in it for the money. Kinesis is not like that at all! It's small which is awesome because no matter what level you are you feel like you're getting one in one attention during classes. The instructors are so nice! The private lessons are a huge help especially if you're a beginner like me! They really listen to you and help you focus on what's best for your body. Communication is key for any business and they have amazing communication! I don't feel judged in any way for my body or my beginning level. I'm welcomed with encouragement and guidance! Even the other clients are awesome and a joy to talk to and workout next to!

Kinesis Pilates has truly been a gift! After joining 18 months ago, I have gained so much strength, flexibility, and overall health. The difference has been especially significant during my recovery from surgery and cancer treatments, which left me with lymphedema in my right arm.

Every instructor at Kinesis is incredibly thoughtful, curious, and supportive, always placing the client at the center of each practice and class. Their personalized approach has made all the difference in my healing and ongoing wellness journey.

I give Kinesis a 10 out of 10! Everyone can benefit from the traditional Pilates offered here — it’s an amazing investment in your health and well-being.

I've been a client at Kinesis Pilates for over a year and can't begin to say enough great things! A running injury (knee pain) brought me to the studio, and I have gotten stronger, more aware of my imbalances, and overall more mindful of my movements. And did I mention I've returned to running pain free? Sophia and her crew of instructors are all fantastic. They've done more for me than any sports doc or physical therapist ever did, but in a fun, welcoming environment

I started coming to Kineses in November to work on my mobility and flexibility. I used to be a person that would say "I'm just not very flexible." However, after a few months I started to notice the difference right away, especially for morning runs (reduced muscle stiffness). In addition, learning the classical method has allowed me to gradually challenge my body while at the same time feeling empowered by the strength hidden in the muscles you've never thought about. I have enjoyed being taught by the instructors, not only are they very friendly and welcoming but they genuinely believe in your progression. Highly recommend to everyone!!

This studio is just one of my favorite places to go because of the amazing instructors and the close knit feel. Instructors are extremely knowledgeable and supportive with terrific instruction, adjustment and guidance. The clients are terrific too! I had no exposure to Pilates prior to taking introductory classes and was intimidated before diving in, and I am so glad I gave it a try and continue to enjoy over a year later! Love this place!

Found Jenny at Kinesis a few months ago and couldn't be happier! She has an amazing eye for detail - spotting when my form is just slightly off and helping me really engage my core properly. This has surprisingly improved my other workouts too!

Jenny somehow notices when I slept on my neck wrong or tweaked my shoulder before I even mention it, and her classes are always fresh with new moves. You can tell she loves Pilates and is constantly learning.

Thanks to her guidance, I finally understand that mind-muscle connection everyone talks about. Whether in her private sessions or group classes, Jenny's attention and passion make Kinesis worth every penny!

I have had an exceptional experience with Kinesis Pilates. I have chronic hip pathology and pain that is exacerbated by typical workouts (high impact, strength training, even yoga). I first tried Kinesis Pilates a year ago because I wanted a workout that wouldn't aggravate my pain. I began my private sessions with Sophia who I found to be extremely knowledgeable in Pilates, anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics. She was able to help me make the small adjustments I needed in my posture while performing the Pilates exercises to not only gain strength, but improve my overall alignment AND reduce my hip pain! Since starting Kinesis Pilates, I have been able to discontinue my traditional physical therapy that I had been attending for years. I talked my husband in to taking privates sessions from Sophia for his low back pain, and he was amazed at how much it helped him, even more than PT. I have found all the instructors to be kind, caring and knowledgeable, and the classes are all enjoyable. I highly recommend!

I’ve been coming to Kinesis for about 8-9 months and love it. It’s a small studio with teachers (shoutouts to Stephanie, Jennifer, Jenny, & Katie!) who do a fantastic job working with students at their levels. They know when to push and when to encourage us to make adjustments or listen to our bodies. Kinesis is a neighborhood staple of a business! Go check them out! I have been taking classes at Kinesis Pilates for almost 6 months. I’ve always done traditional weights, orange theory, walking, running, swimming and biking. Pilates, and most notably Kinesis studio has been a fabulous complement to my other stuff, and I feel like I am seeing more tone than I ever have with all of the other exercising. I’m trying to do Pilates 2-3 times a week to really be consistent and I love learning and trying to perfect those movements. I have a long way to go, but love the growth and challenge. Kinesis is wonderful and I enjoy all of the instructors very much. What's unique and something I've NEVER experienced in a group setting is that the instructor asks each person how their body is feeling and will tailor exercises accordingly, whether for injury, etc.
Pilates has been a more than pleasant surprise. 💕
I had a recent bone density scan 2 weeks ago and no longer have osteoporosis. I have osteopenia but improved my bone density with most likely a combination of Pilates, medication, and all of the other stuff mentioned above. (I'm a 58 yo female).

Pilates can be intimidating, but Kinesis is very welcoming. Sophia was wonderful and patiently explained all the pieces of equipment and how to use them. She helped me be more aware of how my body walks and stands, and how I can strengthen muscles to get rid of the back and foot pain I was having. After each lesson I felt stronger and could actually see myself making progress. It only took 2 sessions for me to fall in love with pilates - I normally dread workouts but with Sophia I actually looked forward to each session. Very thoughtful instructor and studio.

This is truly a place where the magic happens for me! Jenny J. has been my private instructor for just over 100 sessions. She has patiently, and thoughtfully worked with me and coached me. Jenny works hard to find the right exercises on any given day to fit my challenges! During this time my body has been transformed many times. I thoroughly enjoy the toning, mobility, balance, and breath Kinesis Pilates has brought into my body and life. The studio is clean, the staff is super friendly and Sophia, the owner, is passionate about it all.

Do I have a story to tell! I started going to Kinesis Pilates April 1st this year and have been taking three private classes a week since then. I decided to do this to get back in shape after some severe health issues and to strengthen my right leg in preparation for a total knee replacement. My right knee was so weak I haven’t been able to take stairs with it since 2019. Within two and a half months, thanks mostly to Michelle’s expert instruction, I’m walking up and down stairs with my right knee. This is something I never thought could be done without surgery and now it seems I won’t even need it!

I’m so glad I found Kinesis Pilates! It is far superior to other Pilates studios in Denver due to the rigorous training and experience of all the instructors in addition to their encouraging teaching styles. So far I’ve had Jennifer, Michelle, Katie, Sophia and Jenny. I look forward to going to every session and feeling how well my body is responding to it. My balance, strength and flexibility is noticeably better and I can’t wait to continue to improve my overall health. Thank you, Kinesis Pilates.

Kinesis Pilates has been amazing for my family. My husband, daughter and I are all huge fans. We all went for different reasons and feel like Kinesis Pilates has made us all stronger and healthier.

I started Pilates because I was having neck pain, and nothing seemed to help. Sophia evaluated my body and has worked with me to strengthen my neck and change the way I stand to improve my posture which in turn is helping my body feel better. Sophia’s knowledge of the body and how all the different parts work together is truly impressive.

I take a combo of private lessons and group lessons and have loved every teacher. Adding Pilates into my workout has really made the difference for me. I came for help with my neck and feel that I have come away with so much more. Pilates has strengthened my body and I actually look forward to going to classes.

I've been so thrilled with Kinesis Pilates, specifically Sophia the owner. This studio and Sophia in particular were suggested to me by my PT to help with back and knee issues and to gain strength and healing. Honestly, I look so forward to my 1:1 time with Sophia and seeing the appointment on my calendar makes my day and encourages me before I ever arrive! I'm always surprised when my 'time is up'...it goes so quickly. I love learning all that she has to teach me...so much more than the 'mechanics' or the machines! Truly life changing!

I have been attending the private classes with Jenny J. for about four months in. I liked the initial body review session where the instructor learns about your body capabilities and tailors the courses from there. Each time beginning of the class, Jenny trying to understand my daily needs and start the class from there. I could see my body shape is maintained good so far, and I believe the Pilates in general helps to stretch muscles where we don’t normally use. I will be patient and consistent with Kinesis and look forward to seeing how my body benefits more. Every staff in Kinesis are kind, patient, and understanding. I highly recommend to check out the studio and try out for yourself.

Kinesis Pilates has been a fantastic place to exercise, heal and strengthen my body. I have been recovering from back injuries for over a year, and the consistency of thoughtfully-taught classes with instructors who know human anatomy and physiology inside and out has been a huge part of my rehabilitation. Sophia is a complete Pilates guru and changes her routine every week, and shares so much extra knowledge about the “why” behind exercises and how they will benefit us in today’s world. She and the other teachers I have worked with truly care about how students’ bodies feel while educating us on how we can push ourselves safely.

Have been doing Pilates for about two years, and Kinesis is my third studio. By far, the best!
The instructors are all well-trained, the pace is fast, and always interesting. The sessions are individualized to specific needs, and each instructor treats the hour session as "all in". Their enthusiasm is infectious.
As a 75-year-old aging collegiate athlete, I have more serious health problems than I can count, but Pilates offers a chance for fitness, without a tedious and monotonous gym.
To all who read this, give it a try! It is reasonably priced, and you will quickly become addicted, as I am! See you there!

I’ve been attending a private lesson with Jen Ross at Kinesis Pilates for over 2 years now. This weekly lesson is what keeps my body going through good times and bad. I've taken Face Pilates with Sophia Briegleb twice--I love it so much! Sophia is the best Pilates instructor/all around teacher I ever had. If only I lived in Denver, I would take every class she teaches. She is so knowledgeable about human physiology, and how all our systems work together, and this gives so much depth to the practice she teaches. Her instructions are easy to understand and her energy is warm and positive. I can feel her caring, support and enthusiastic, encouragement through my computer screen. Face Pilates is particularly helpful if you suffer from jaw/neck tension, stress headaches; and if that tension manifests visually as wrinkles or asymmetries on your face, it addresses those too. Since taking the class, I've learned how to help myself in all these areas. I can't recommend this class more highly.

After experiencing sciatica and pain in my feet, I hoped to ease my pain through Pilates. Having worked with Sophia during her training, I knew that her understanding of anatomy and the importance of form would be a great fit. Kinesis Pilates is amazing. I found them in order to strengthen my body while protecting my pelvic floor after the birth of my third child.

I took classes there for several months along with private lessons with Chris. Chris is AMAZING! If you are able to take private lessons with her do it. She was able to take verbal instructions and translate them into tiny shifts in my body I could feel the difference immediately.

The private instruction really helped me in the group classes since I knew what my body wanted to do during the excercises and had Chris' gentle voice in my head reminding me. I now have moved states and am terribly saddened that I won't be able to work with her again, but this frees up a spot for you to!

The only thing I didn't like was I had (and still have) a class balance due to COVID shutdowns and as they were transferring online I asked to be able to purchase online courses with my credit. The owner said okay. Great right?

No, because she used my entire balance to purchase classes FOR me that I would not have as they did not suit what I am currently working on. I would have preferred to select my own classes as more were released. I am hoping that this will be the case with the remainder of my credit and will update accordingly.

I started taking classes at Kinesis to help manage my lower back pain. I have never taken a pilates class before and didn't want to trust just any studio.
They came highly recommended for teaching the traditional style and the staff has not disappointed.
Private sessions have been wonderful to introduce me to proper form and achieve a comfort level that moved me into group classes.
Each instructor is knowledgeable in my condition and prepared to make any adjustments in class.
I continue to attend this studio, even as my back has improved. I love the instructor's energy, attention and the improved strength my practice as awarded me. Plus, I just FEEL better! Thanks Kinesis team!

COVID 19 has normalized the virtual life- zoom meetings for work and get togethers with friends are now routine. I had my first zoom exercise experience with Sophia from Kinesis Pilates during the pandemic. I was a bit nervous at first-how would she see me to make adjustments, could I cheat on the exercises? It turned out to be just great. With a little tweak of the computer and a mirror to look at myself-it worked perfectly-even for a Pilates beginner! I have chronic back pain and terrible core strength. Sophia was able to target her sessions to meet my needs. For Pilates pros or novices, I would highly recommend Kinesis Pilates and Sophia especially.

I began my Pilates journey with Sophia at Kinesis Pilates in February 2017. As a woman in her 40's I was looking for a low-impact fitness option that would help me gain strength and flexibility without leaving me exhausted. Practicing Pilates has been the best thing I have ever done for myself. The staff is very knowledgeable (intensive training at The Pilates Center, nationally certified, and practicing continuing education), the studio is very clean with top of the line Balanced Body equipment and accessories, and the studio culture is wonderful. I am so grateful to have found both Pilates and such a great place to practice it.

Working with Sophia and the teachers at Kinesis Pilates has had a profound effect on my life. I describe it as strengthening body and soul from the inside out. I have gotten stronger. I suffer less aches and pains. I have become more limber than I have been in years. And, my 48 year old dad belly is slowly being replaced with an engaged and strengthened core. I joke that if you walk by the studio, you would think we are all just lying down and breathing strangely. In fact, classes are a brilliant escape from the stress of life and the reward is a healthy body and rejuvenated soul. I am a true believer. Kinesis is a safe space to learn and grow and an community of amazing people.

After moving across the country, Kinesis was one of the first Pilates studios I started going to. I initially reached out looking for a job which was when I met the owner, Sophia. Although she was not hiring, she found out that I was a trainee at the same program all of her staff had trained at. She welcomed me with open arms! Not only did she allow me observe classes at her studio, she also told me I could practice there throughout my program. I could not believe how welcoming she was to me, a stranger. As I started taking classes at the studio I began to realize how different it was from every other studio I have practiced at. The staff is all nationally certified which is evident through their knowledge of the body. The classes are fun yet challenging. And the private lessons have been so healing! On numerous occasions I have gone into class after tweaking my back or hurting my ankle snowboarding. The instructors made sure to tailor the session to my current needs and I left feeling 100 times better. If you do pilates regularly or have never done Pilates, Kinesis is the studio for you. I started going to Kinesis pilates in August 2017. I was working through issues with hyper mobility and found that with all other forms of exercise I quickly became injured. I have watched Kinesis grow from a single instructor (Sophia who is the owner) to a group of wonderful, well trained, detail oriented instructors all of whom add their own unique expertise to classes.

Since starting Kinesis I have taken a combination of 250 classes and private sessions. I can proudly say that I am in the best shape of my life and have been consistently injury free. I have increased body awareness which I directly attribute to my pilates training. I also have been able to train for other fitness challenges (hiking the Inca trail, skiing moguls, cross country skiing, and most recently training for a hilly cycling trip) all injury free! I love kinesis pilates!

I'm an academic health economics researcher, faculty member, and have been called frugal. I endured years of loving encouragement from my wife to try out this foreign, relatively costly new routine called Pilates. Let’s just say I was a Pilates skeptic.

Prior to finding Pilates at Kinesis, I considered myself to be in pretty good shape; I played college tennis and have continued playing into my 40s. I jog and lift weights too. After getting the basics down through private lessons, some time passed without Pilates. But my tennis shoulder was bothering me more than ever, so I decided to take a break from tennis and go “all-in” on Pilates for this summer, attending approximately 60 classes with the unlimited summer pass. Every instructor is professional, brings joy to their trade, and sprinkles in their own unique personality and spirit to the practice of Pilates.

Now to a brief analysis of the evidence… I started off the summer with a tight and weak shoulder, very tight hamstrings, a stiff spine, and a stiff attitude about Pilates. My cost-effectiveness analysis is in and suggests that Pilates classes at Kinesis are good value for money. I have much more balance in my body (after years of playing a repetitive motion sport with many imbalances), I have healthier joints (my range of motion in my hips and shoulders have improved), and I honestly feel like my real age went down a few notches. Pilates is one of those practices that once you get into the routine, recycles energy back over many hours after completion. It is one of those exercises that borders on religion and cuts across many dimensions of life.

What's your well-being worth to you? What would you be willing to pay to reduce or eliminate aches, pains, imbalances and stiffness in your body while improving strength? What would you be willing to pay to receive renewed energy over many hours in a day? If you’re willing to pay a few hundred a month and willing to invest a few hours per week, you will be pleased with your results. There’s a dose-response with Pilates – with more frequency yielding stronger benefits per hour invested.

I recognize Pilates is a commitment and is intimidating to take the leap, especially for men... I’m glad I did.

I signed up for a series of initial private lessons since I was completely new to Pilates. I've been so pleasantly surprised at what a difference it's made just after a few classes. Balance and coordination is way better - and even the ever present tension in my upper back is gone. The vibe at the studio is very friendly, and the instructors really know their stuff! Give it a try if you're thinking about it.

I am so pleased I found Kinesis Pilates. The studio is spotless, bright and lovely with beautiful new equipment. The teachers are all wonderful, you can tell they have extensive training and passion for what they do. I especially enjoy the different classes available - reformer, chair, jump board, private classes etc. Best of all I got excellent results from private sessions. My chronic neck and shoulder issues from having and carrying 3 kids are resolved. Learning to engage the correct muscles and also align my body correctly were life changing. Thank you Kinesis!

Kinesis Pilates and *all* of the teachers are fantastic. I have been going to the studio for nearly a year and really ramped up my attendance this summer when the studio offered a special summer unlimited package. It has been a life changer - I am feeling so much stronger and have really fallen in love with the practice. I appreciate that Sophia and each of the teachers (Kim, Chris, Katie, and Jennifer) have significant training and experience and explain each exercise clearly. Class size is small (no more than 5 people in a class), which gives the teachers the ability to suggest corrections and adjustments that help strengthen your practice. All in all, I absolutely love this studio and all of its teachers.

I have suffered from chronic neck pain for the last 10 years. Sophia and Kinesis Pilates has helped my neck pain far more than any PT or chiropractic. I've learned so much about how to properly move and hold my body so in years to come I will be able to keep my back and neck healthy and strong and hopefully pain free! It's been amazing waking up every day and not dealing with the chronic pain.

I am thrilled with the benefits of Pilates after only a short time at Kinesis. I feel stronger, my back feels better, and my posture is noticeably better. I have practiced as a physical therapist and taught movement science, so I appreciate the skill and expertise of the instructors I have worked with. At the beginner’s level, it seems that the instructors use the Pilates routines to analyze movement and teach efficient movement patterns that make us stronger.
I am in my late 60’s so it is invigorating to see my movement skills improving. I regularly attend Jennifer’s beginners’ class. Jennifer individualizes her group classes, keeping an eye on each of us, giving excellent cues to improve performance. I have greatly benefited from Kim’s guidance in learning core movements, which have enabled me to realign my sitting and upright posture in daily activities.

Coming to Kinesis is one of the best parts of my day. I enjoy the workout and feel amazing afterwards. All of the instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, and I am constantly learning new things about how my body works (and should work!). Super grateful for this Pilates community.

I’ve been regularly seeing Sophia for about three years, I initially went to her for some extra private instruction to help with my form so that I could translate those suggestions into the group classes I was already doing at another studio. I found out I was pregnant with twins after that first lesson and decided to stay with her and do private lessons through my pregnancy. Sophia and I worked together until I was 36 weeks pregnant— Pilates, and specifically Sophia’s instruction, was instrumental in getting me to full term (at age 38 and with mo-di twins). I gained 70 pounds during that pregnancy and by the end, I wasn’t able to move all that much BUT, thanks to Sophia, I WAS able to move. Because I saw her weekly throughout my pregnancy, my body was strong enough to continue to carry my 2 year old son, to play with him, to walk around the zoo with him, and to avoid bed rest. I made it to 38.5 weeks before going into labor naturally and had a beautiful, vaginal, medication- free birth with my twins. I credit the work I did with Sophia throughout my pregnancy for having a successful pregnancy, labor, and birth.

I went back to Sophia at Kinesis Pilates at about 8 weeks post partum and it became the only studio I go to for Pilates. It was difficult because I didn’t feel at home in my body at all. I couldn’t feel my abdominal muscles at all, even when just on all fours in cat/cow position. I had a 4-finger wide diastasis. I still had most of the pregnancy weight on my body (and would for over a year). My feet and knees hurt all the time. And my upper body was really weak. Slowly, Sophia helped me regain my strength, heal my diastasis, increase my stamina, and re-train my body into proper alignment. After having had three kids in two years, my body was craving more stability, and Pilates gave that to me. Most importantly, however, Sophia and her team at Kinesis Pilates provided a warm and welcoming environment during a really vulnerable time in my life... I never once felt judged for not being able to do much. I never once felt like I wasn’t welcome, even though I had to modify virtually every single exercise for several months until I was strong enough and flexible enough to try more. I’ve never been part of an exercise community that is more inclusive and more kind than the community that’s being built at Kinesis.

Sophia has such a vastness knowledge of the body and her expertise has definitely been passed on to all of her teachers. You are in good hands with anyone there. Two years after my twins were born, and thanks to the help of Sophia and Kinesis, I’ve lost all the baby weight and my body is stronger than it has ever been. Pilates changed my life. Thanks Sophia 💜.

WOW!!! I love Kinesis Pilates at the Stanley Market Place! Sophia, Kim and all the staff are beyond experts in the traditional Joseph Pilates method. They have a keen eye and sense and can quickly correct and improve my technique and positioning so I can get it right. I have tried other pilates studios in the Denver area and this in by far simply the best. Multiple class options all week make it so easy to find a class that is right for me. Thank you Kinesis Pilates!

I am in my late sixties and had never tried Pilates before but had been interested in it or a long time. A year ago, I started taking Pilates classes at Kinesis Pilates and I wish I had stated earlier! I think it will serve my body well for whatever the future holds for me. It is a very welcoming studio. I'm very glad I finally took the plunge.

I love this studio! When my family moved to Stapleton, I looked for a Pilates studio in the neighborhood and tried a few places that just did not feel like Pilates. Once I found Kinesis, I was hooked. The instructors are excellent and know how to isolate and work to build strength and stability. This is so much more than a workout! (And yet, still a workout). The studio is friendly and beautiful. My son, who is a ballet dancer has also taken Pilates at Kinesis. The instructors were able to work with him on an entirely different level and.helped him with finding muscle groups he was not able to isolate on his own in ballet classes. They were great with him and I would recommend to any dancer who needs focused attention on positions, turn out and strength building.

I have been having sciatica nerve issues for over three years now. I’ve seen doctors and done therapy and yet all and every exercise was causing yet another flare up leaving me incapable of moving much for weeks sometimes months at a time. My last PT recommended I tried Pilates and particularly Kineses Pilates and Sophia’s name came up. Naturally I read all the reviews and every one of them spoke to the positive effects it had. I’ve been taking lessons with her since January this year and for the first time in a long time I am able to move and gain strength without pain and more so, I am able to add more sophisticated types of workouts without having pain. Sophia is a truly wonderful coach working with you throughout the entire lesson, encouraging you to move and trust yourself and yet being careful, gentle and modifiying according to your specifics.
Thank you Sophia!

I have been taking Pilates for my Scoliosis for a few years now and have tried a few different studios but this one is my favorite. All of the instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and patient. I have experienced many moments of self-discovery about my own body and they are just as eager to discover with me and even though I work with different instructors as my schedule allows they take such detailed notes, nobody ever misses a beat and I always get to pick up right where I left off. Pilates is for everyone, not just those of us with a particular need. Pilates has and will continue to help me age gracefully and retain strength and control over key muscle groups. I know everyone could use this sort of guidance as their body ages!

One year ago this week, I tried my first Pilates class. I had recently found out that I had bad arthritis and a hip injury and I wasn't able to do yoga because it caused too much pain. Pilates is easy on my joints and I can do modifications for my injury. I firmly believe that in combination with my physical therapy, Pilates has helped me heal and become stronger. One year later, I'm taking intermediate classes and I've even been able to go back to yoga. I'm so thankful that I found Kinesis Pilates! I highly recommend this studio because it's small and you don't feel like you're just a number; all of the instructors are extremely knowledgeable, caring, and really watch out for you during privates/classes; and have a really great client base (I've met a lot of great people through my classes there). If you've been interested in trying Pilates, Kinesis Pilates is a great place to go.

I love the instructors' attitude towards fitness, body position and movement. At kinesis, the goal is to meet you where you are at... whether that means a fun, get-you-sweating workout or slower paced movement to help with physical pain. I have never felt self-conscience about my limitations because the instructors are so genuine. For me, kinesis feels like fun, physical therapy that allows me to stay very active in my everyday life as I work through physical limitations. Everyone needs this as part of their healthcare plan!!!

I love the classes at Kinesis! I have been coming here regularly for over a year and have noticed a huge improvement in strength, balance and posture, as well as a reduction in back and shoulder pain. Sophia (the owner) and all of the instructors are incredibly knowledgable and supportive, I feel like I get individual attention even in a full class (max 5 students). I never feel intimidated if I can't do an exercise or forget how to set the equipment, and am always encouraged to push myself in a safe way.

Kinesis Pilates has changed my life! I suffer from a form of arthritis that causes spinal fusion, causing pain, fatigue and stiffness. After working with Sophia, Kim, Katie and Jennifer in both privates and classes, my range of motion is greatly improved and my pain levels are dramatically reduced. The Kinesis team has done an amazing job tailoring my training to accommodate my physical limitations, and after 15 months with them, feel better than I have in over a decade. I now treat Pilates as part of my medical treatment. I can’t say enough good things about Sophia and her team!

I began taking Pilates on the advice of my chiropractor. My lower back was just always tired and achey. I had practiced yoga for years and that, along with regular adjustments and even dry needling didn’t help. I started with private sessions with Sophia, and after only two I noticed such a difference in the way my body felt! I’ve become a Pilates convert. I look and feel better at forty than I did at 20. I’m stronger, leaner, more flexible, and most importantly, I’ve re-wired my brain to use the appropriate muscles for the job I’m doing. After a couple years of regular classes, my chiropractor remarked just yesterday how well my lower back is doing, not needing any adjustment at all!
As for the studio itself, it’s beautiful and clean, the teachers are well-trained, the classes are fun and the students are nice. It’s not about what you’re wearing or how flexible you are, everybody has their own challenges and strengths and we all laugh with and support each other. I’ve tried other Pilates studios and styles, and the classes are nowhere near as good. I don’t get the same direction, feedback and/or benefits. I’m so grateful to Sophia and Kinesis, and can’t recommend it highly enough!

I absolutely love this studio. I have been doing pilates for 10 years in various places around the World and this is one of the best "classic" studios I have been to. I started here the first week it opened. The teachers are all well trained and understand the deeper philosophy of pilates which is to train the body to move well in both the studio and everyday life. They also do pilates in a safe way. I have been to other studios with instructors that allow people to do unsafe things and this does not happen here regardless of how long you have been practicing. Sophia the studio owner is awesome as well she makes sure I am challenged every day, but I watch her teach others and she caters to their levels and conditions. This studio is great for people of all levels to enjoy pilates. As always pilates is a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for and the packages definitely help out!

Kinesis is a phenomenal Pilates studio. I have been an athlete for my entire life and I can honestly say that Sophia and the teachers at Kinesis are some of the most effective coaches I have ever experienced. Their specific feedback, deep knowledge of anatomy and how it translates to movement, strength and posture, and warm and supportive, yet tough, coaching is a fantastic combination. I couldn't more highly recommend the team at Kinesis.

Sophia and all of the instructors at Kinesis Pilates are outstanding. I first started doing pilates with a physical therapist to address back problems that I've had since I was a teenager. In the past year I've been going to Kinesis Pilates 2 to 3 times a week, and the practice is fundamentally changing my muscle awareness, core strength, posture, and body movement. I feel stronger and healthier than I did 10 years ago. I highly recommend Kinesis Pilates!

I started my Pilates journey with Sophia/Kinesis a few years ago. Since that time I've become fascinated with the connections I've made with my body - muscle to muscle and mind to muscle and how those connections drive movement - not just movement during exercise, but also in LIFE! I love that Pilates has taught me the art of slowing down and how breathing affects movement. Thanks, Kinesis!

I started working with Sophia last year as an extension of Physical Therapy to address ongoing back pains. In the end, strengthening my core and balance/awareness not only helped my back but also made me a faster runner and more able to address any “tweaks” I might experience very quickly. I love the small classes and the variety (jump board is the BEST!) and also really appreciate the attention of the teachers always making sure I do the movements correctly so I get the most benefit. New goals for personal best times in the 5k and 10k and wanting to keep getting stronger keep me coming back!
