If you’re a woman, you’re not safe at this lifetime. You will be harassed by staff and members, and it will become worse after expressing your concerns. If you’re ok with staff opening your lockers and rummaging through your bag without your knowledge (“coincidentally” after leaving a review) and being followed around in the parking lot and while you work out, sure, go ahead and sign up here. If you value your safety and sanity, literally go anywhere else!

Overpriced garbage gym. Was about to sign up until I realized they removed the basketball courts. This place asks a premium price without offering basic amenities…

I’ve been a member of this gym since March and love it. Great selection of equipment, a broad range of classes to choose from, indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, nice amenities, and the whole place is very well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff, with particular shouts out to Gabby (warm and friendly front desk concierge), Esteban (great trainer and Roll & Recovery instructor), and Amy (kind and professional pickleball pro). So happy I joined here.

Overpriced. Went from having a large basketball court when it was Lakeshore to then only having a half court to now having no basketball courts. They decided that instead of keeping that area the way it was and allowing dual use of basketball and pickleball, they ripped the basketball hoops off the walls and removed the flooring. This place caters to those who are above 50 because they're the only ones that can afford it.

For the monthly price, this gym really doesn’t deliver. The equipment is outdated—there are newer, better versions of almost everything out there, and for what we’re paying, there’s no excuse not to have them. The machines are functional, but they’re clearly behind the times and don’t offer the same performance or features as what you’d find in other similarly priced gyms. They also took the basketball courts out a few years ago and have so many pickleball courts upstairs and down. Does not seem like they cater towards the youth in anyway but if you would like to pay extra for childcare. Over the years it has shown to be not worth the price as many regulars have seeked employment with the company just to have the discount on membership.

The trainers don’t seem particularly knowledgeable or engaged. It’s hard to take your workout seriously when it feels like more of a social club than a fitness center. Most people seem more focused on hanging out and sipping coffee than actually training, which kind of defeats the purpose.

The café could be a nice touch, but the online ordering system is constantly down, making it more of a hassle than a perk. Honestly, for the cost, you’d expect more professionalism, better amenities, and an environment that supports actual fitness goals—not just a place to chill.

Clean, well organized, well maintained gym. It's the kind of place that makes it easy to go every day. Seems to always be a squat rack open, patrons and staff have always been professional, and there's just a general vibe of health and wellness.

I've been at this location for 3 years and I just had my second or third rate increase since, with the most recent increase being $89/month with no improvement in amenities. The gym is nice but it's no where near worth that much money, especially if you're not using the classes. I originally got the membership so I could use the basketball courts, and just months later, they turned them into pickleball courts (but there's a basketball court in the back that we can't use?). The last time I visited, I tried 3 treadmills and none of them would start, the bathrooms are pretty messy, and I never know if the toilet is going to flush. Overall I'm pretty disappointed with the value and the lack of justification for the huge price increase. I wish they would tier membership to accommodate those who don't go to classes, and I really wish they catered to younger members that want to use the basketball courts.

Be careful of taller, less-popular, aqua aerobics instructor who taught on 3/7. She will throw three swimmers out of a lane so she can put one single person for her class in there - even if she only has one person in each of her other 2 open lanes AND she has the additional swim-lesson school pool where almost everyone wants to be because it is warmer and more comfortable for the class’s demographic.

This woman bristles and is indignant at the idea of making an effort to consolidate the class as opposed to the more popular instructor who exhibits both customer service AND simple common sense, recognizing she can easily get 6 people across in a lane for her class.

Just ridiculous.

I could only be a member here for a few months before I had to move for work but the experience I’ve had here has been great. Bryan has been a great trainer. The essential oil infused steam room is great. The rest of the facilities are good. A lot of this gym is converted to pickle ball courts which orients it towards an older crowd. It was very easy to cancel too when I had to move.

Been coming here for a while. All employees claim they don’t have a basketball court for use. When paying this much for a membership it’s unacceptable to have a court available but not open. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Elise for a facial @ the Lifetime Spa, and I can confidently say it was the best facial I've ever had! Elise is truly a master of her craft. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately put me at ease.

The facial itself was nothing short of extraordinary. Elise took the time to assess my skin's needs and customize the treatment accordingly. Her expertise and attention to detail were evident throughout the entire process. Not only did my skin look and feel amazing afterward, but I also left feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated.

What sets Elise apart is her passion for skincare and her genuine desire to help her clients achieve their skincare goals. She provided valuable insights into my skincare routine and recommended products tailored to my specific needs, without any pressure to purchase.

If you're looking for the best esthetician and the best facial experience you've ever had, look no further than Elise. I cannot recommend her highly enough! Thank you for the incredible experience—I can't wait to come back!

I can’t really rate lifetime however I used to come here all the time and was a member when it was Lakeshore Athletic club. It was kept really clean and I love the free towel service that was included and they had professional personal training staff working there who had their degree in exercise Physiology and a professional certification as I have a degree in Human performance and Health promotion and understand how important this is. I also had my daughter who was in preschool at the time attend the kids program where they had planned exercise events while I worked out. The pool was great and I would go there on my days off during the week and hang out with the moms while my daughter played with the kids . The dinning area was fun and a great place to have a tea or snack with friends after the workout. Not sure if the climbing wall exists however my daughter loved it.

We are a family of four with two young men. They made changes about a year ago. We communicated very well, as allocated. It is not as enjoyable while we are present. Utilize this specific club best by featuring cardio while looking over the pool & the golf course. It’s nice to not be staring at a wall & or down somebody else’s space while working out in cardio for a half hour. The machines for cardio (elliptical) are too close. I’m careful what I wish for, as they seem to be placing and removing them often. Hey, “I need the elliptical !”

Sad to see such an expensive gym kept so terrible. They raised the rates again, too. Locker room was disgusting, and hot tub was gross...floors nasty filled with hair. There is no toilet paper in the locker room either... for $$$$$ and NO basketball court mind you...the kid area is also not prepared for kids older than 7. Too small for older kids and their kid staff has only expectations for china dolls... It's way too much for the same old Lakeshore... no one from staff has reached out. They just collect payment.

Been with lifetime for less than a year and have been loving it so far. Flat irons location is special being smaller compared to the other locations but really enjoyed my facial with Elise and my hair taken care of by Kelly! They are an absolute 5 star experience, but coming here with a 3 star because of yoga instructor (I believe her name was sarah). Just before class my guest and I ran into her in the bathroom she scolded us for taking towels that were sitting in the bathroom with no sign. It was embarrassing as I was trying to show my guest how nice the facility was to join- but after that rude interaction, unfortunately it discouraged my guest from signing up for a membership. I’m really shocked by how much a membership costs here to be treated so rudely by an instructor.

I just joined the club last week and have had two excellent interactions: Pilates with Leslie and a facial with Elise. Leslie is one of the most experienced pilates teachers I've had in the last year and in two cities; she made very careful observations and essential corrections. Leslie is what convinced me to sign up. Elise gave me the best facial I've ever had: thorough, knowledgeable, and skillful. So far so good!

It’s a pretty facility however I was really disappointed in the weight selections. Free weights (dumbbells) are only in 5 lb increments (other locations have them in 2.5 lb increments) and there aren’t any small weight adapters for the cable stations (like lat pull downs) which go in 10 lb increments. How is someone with a small stature (especially females) supposed to get in a good workout where they are able to push themselves? These are simple things to fix to accommodate everyone.

LT Flatirons was a decent place, but it is losing value as in many other places. The price increased a couple of times this year. The club is not what it used to be. The towels are falling apart. They are so old that many have holes in them. For a month, several machines were not working. I paid for three PT sessions but only got one because the trainer's wife's uncle was sick. I saw the so-called trainer a couple of weeks later, and he ignored me and never rescheduled. One weekend, I had an issue with one machine, and the girl at the front desk could not help. She was very dismissive, and when I asked to speak with the manager, I was told that the manager did not work on weekends. The clubs are not improving; on the contrary, they are getting worse, and the only increasing thing is the price. They changed the tennis courts, and after that, if you wanted to play tennis, you had to go to a different club and, depending on your membership, pay extra. The eucalyptus towels are supplied once a week, so sometimes they are all gone by Friday, and the place where the towels are kept cold is empty for at least three days. It is impossible to talk with someone in charge on weekends, and we are told to email him. There are showers in the men's locker rooms that needed repair, and it took over a month to fix them. One still has no blue and red dots, keeping the two holes open. It is the little details that count.

Nice gym. Usually fairly clean, but sometimes not. Most of the staff is friendly, but everyone is nameless and they dont bother to know your name. Cafe Closes at 8pm, so if you work out later and finish after that you are out of luck if you want anything after your workout. Seems to cater more to people who come early. It's not any better than it was when it was Lakeshore, but it's just as good... except there are far more spoiled high school age kids using the weight room who think they are better than they are.

Love the outdoor pool but find it way too noisy, the volume interferes with normal level conversation. I have asked politely a number of times if it is possible to lower the music's volume a bit. I was told, they'll see if they can turn the volume down. NOT! We were amazed that a high end gym would allow such a disturbance, chances are if it's disturbing to us, it most likely is intrusive to others, as well.
The music should be relaxing or at least not so loud.
Why do they think everyone wants it loud?

Mixed experience.

We chose this Lifetime because it was the closest to us (25 minutes) and because they had tennis, a basketball court and a pool.

Since we chose the club, they have removed the tennis courts and now the basketball court. What health club does not have a basketball court?

Great, helpful staff here. Loved outdoor pool & deck. Indoor pool is shallow at 5 ft max to allow for no lifeguard...so be aware. Otherwise pool is good for laps & has solid step entry for older members. Bottom needs vacuumed much more frequently as dirt trails on bottom. Pool's very high windows are ext dirty at this Flatirons Fitness. They were never like that pre pandemic.
But the ones at the Lifetime F. on 148 th were cleaned while I swam recently. The Aurora groups at 148 th are very lively and well attended.
Locker room and showers are good at Flatirons but floors ext slippery if you are not wearing flip flops w/good soles. Love that towels and all body cleansing items & more included. Big bonus.
The resistance machines at Flatirons are great & well kept plus a trainer led me thru 13 of most important ones I needed.
All in all I love it!

I really like the lay out of the club as it’s wide open. I don’t shoot hoops but I like how you can watch as you hit the machines or do curls.

I like how the thread mills are on the 2nd floor plus a bonus of a fridge where they have cold eucalyptus towels! Super.

We enrolled our kid into it and never know that I NEED to exclusively cancel the classes. I also never know that it is a subscription type of thing that enrolling into free trail also enrolled into auto payments. They said that they sent an email to notify me. But I never noticed or agreed with this kind of arrangement. And worse thing is that they refused to provide refunds even my kid never attended any more classes!
The one charged me is Lifetime, however Lifetime side just said that it is the aquatic side problem and they have no right to do anything. So it makes me feel that the aquatic part is not really part of Lifetime. However lifetime just give out my information and credit card to them to charge me every month.
Totally not a responsible company. They charge so high but billing service is so bad. Information provided is unclear. It is just trying to cheat you and earn from you.
Do NOT go for their swimming classes. Also not recommended to sign up their regular gym. You don’t know when they will charge you extra for something you never know and never want.

Terrible service. I found mold in my food at the Life Cafe and I didn't even get a refund. Next I saw broken equipment in the gym that could seriously hurt someone. I reported this to management and they did nothing. Wont be coming back.

Extremely unprofessional, and rude staff. Clearly a poor organizational culture. Unsafe Gym with broken equipment. Towels are few and far between in the pool area ALWAYS. Windy conditions cause the kiddos to get extremely cold with no towels.
Spending hundreds of dollars each month just in fees, to be treated like a door mat. No Thank You!

I just joined this gym because the personal trainer I use started working here. The facility is beautiful, and the people are friendly. Complete strangers will encourage you, too, and I have never been to a gym where that happens before. Plus: Gabriel Garcia is a fantastic trainer who is SO GOOD at finding the ways I compensate for weakness and getting me to overcome this! Highly recommend.

Price increases coupled with trends towards making the most valuable amenities an additional membership type or less accessible (like pool access) are making the club a worse value. I loved lifetime but I'm becoming frustrated the more complicated they make the membership, instead of just including pool use in club membership as it always has been.

We have been very happy with lifetime at this location. This is our 3rd lifetime we have had a membership at. We had some mixed opinions in the past of the kid area and billing at a Georgia club however, this location has been amazing. My kids absolutely love the kid area. The outdoor pool area is great, I wish the Indoor pool was larger, but glad there is still space for my kids to play. This gym has also been so amazing since we are currently displaced due to the Colorado wildfires. They have helped us find other locations while we bounce around. Everyone has been so kind and helpful while we are in this transition. Also the kid camp on days where school is out is a lifesaver. Thank you.

My trainer is great. The gym management is a little sus. They increased the monthly rate for membership without telling anyone and increased the rate for trainers.

And yet, they still can't afford or be bothered to get a second Plate Loaded Leg Press.....

PROs: clean in main gym area (not in locker rooms), not too crowded, hot tub, great lying ham curl machine, large area downstairs with lots of open space for walking lunges or sled push/pull and several squat racks

CONs: lifeless and unnecessarily arrogant staff; small gym overall with only one set of each machine (vs 2 or more at other Life Times in Denver area); boring and stuffy vibe; dirty locker rooms (towels, paper towels, hair, cotton swabs on floor)

RECOMMENDATION: Go to Parker or Westminster locations instead. Much friendlier staff and clientele, more lifting equipment, cleaner, and more value for your monthly dues.

The gym is beautiful and well kept, but my membership fees increased from $79/month to $109/month over the course of 2 years. It put me in a position to consider my other options and ultimately cancel my membership. I was told that membership fees typically increase every 3-4 years. Unfortunately, this was not the truth in my case.

Steph is absolutely phenomenal! She presents the qualities that members look for within a gym both from the staff as well as the environment. This evening, she made my experience a memorable one. It was one of the best that I’ve had since becoming a Lifetime member. Thanks Steph! You rock!

Easily my favorite location in Colorado. Paradise valley, well…. you can’t match that one but they don’t have that tier here at all anyways. I live downtown and commute several times a week to this one. Equipment is actually in good shape, the space is better organized, and the amenities are a lot nicer compared to the other locations.

Amazing place. Love the amenities and everyone is so kind. I didn’t realize how depressed I was at the Colorado Athletic Club (which is more expensive and so much worse in every way) until I started coming here! I use the club to manage a chronic pain condition and I feel really comfortable coming in to do so every day. And the facility is beautiful! Thank you!

I cancelled my membership because I didn't feel comfortable going in the gym due to covid. After requesting to cancel my membership, I continued being billed. After calling multiple times about this issue, I was told that I was officially cancelled. They proceeded to continue billing me. After calling again, I was then told that I would continue to be billed until I sent them an email. I sent them an email and never received a reply. They erroneously charged me multiple times and have not owned up to their mistake. Their billing department is continuing to charge me after verbally agreeing that all of my subscriptions will be cancelled. They originally required in person cancellation even during the height of covid and then after cancelling continued to charge me. They have given me different information about cancelling in person vs on the phone vs email depending on who I talk to. I was originally impressed by the staff at Lifetime and expected to be treated much better. I am very disappointed and now in an ongoing dispute as their billing department continues to charge me.

I've been in many of the larger clubs in Denver and the surrounding area and this one is my preference for sure. It has everything you could need (gym, bball, pools, hot tub, sauna, steam, tennis etc.) and isn't too overcrowded. It's nice to have a good number of people around without feeling like you are in the way or waiting for equipment. The place is also spotless and I swear they are cleaning constantly. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. They offer a welcome class with a personal trainer when you sign up so definitely take advantage of that opportunity. Annalise walked me through my existing routine and made some amazing recommendations. She was very knowledgable and personable. Happy I made the switch and looking forward to spending more time at the club.

This may be the best gym I’ve ever been to. I canceled my CrossFit membership and switched to this gym because it has all the same equipment in a much larger space, plus a pool/hot tub/steam room for about half of what I was paying for CrossFit. Also the locker rooms are absolutely outstanding with free toiletries, towels, and everything is very clean. At $120 a month it’s a great deal and only $60 for additional family members.

Lifetime is a resort, spa, gym, pool, social gathering place where the luxuries of balancing a healthy life can be attained.

With everything from Alpha classes and personal trainers for those with goals to hot yoga and spin classes to maintain, spas for pampering and a Cafe for sustaining. You really don't need to go home ever but your pets might miss you.

Lifetime as a brand is great, and this one is just significantly different than the others I’ve gone to. MUCH smaller and more compact machine weight lifting area. 1/2 the basketball court space. And it’s significantly more expensive than the next closest Lifetime. The only thing that saves it is that it is almost always completely empty and therefore you don’t have to wait for machines or racks or have to be on cardio equipment next to anyone. But it still feels like a ripoff at$200 for two people.

Not the biggest lifetime by any means, however what it lacks in size it makes up for in efficiency and availability of workout machines and cardio equipment. Does not have an indoor pool, dual basketball courts, or climbing wall, which is a negative. However its availability of machines makes it a great place to have a workout!

I’ve gone to two of their gyms the one in Broomfield which I am a regular member at and the one in Westminster both have well-trained friendly employees, a great variety of equipment in good repair, clean nice locker rooms and great indoor and outdoor pools. From my perspective hands above any of the comparable athletic clubs in the area.
