$300 a month - EVERYONE, you can get ALL of these amenities, the EXACT same location, for $80 a month at the JCC. Outdoor pool year round, fitness center, basketball court, yoga, steam rooms, huge locker room, etc. for a fraction of the cost. This place is stealing your money

- The worst amenities of not only the lifetimes in Colorado but across the nation. Falls short in almost every way: constant construction, small cold sauna, small locker room, terrible parking lot, limited weight options, short hours, etc.
- $300/ month for this quality is obscene. At this point, just join Chuze. They offer the exact same caliber of experience.

This is WILD $300 A Month? For the exact same thing I can get for $60 a month.. LITERALLY THE EXACT SAME TYPE & AMOUNT OF AMENITIES! LMAO!! Nah, im good. It's nice, don't get me wrong, but not $300 a month nice, that's insane!!

What to say? Overall, it started off well. I was happy and found value in my personal training sessions. About a year ago, things took a turn for the worse. Front desk staff became increasingly dismissive and rude. This was pointed out to Arianna, along with pictures of the team member involved. She seemed concerned and said she was going to fix it. What changed? Absolutely nothing. Overcrowded locker room. Expect to have to step around and over other members at any given time. Final straw came when Terri, their general manager, broke their own policy about price increases and sent notice of a significant increase less than 30 days from when it was supposed to take effect. Lifetime won’t try to retain you—they won’t try to improve the experience. Their response is “it is what it is, deal with it or get out”. If you’re looking for a top tier gym, Lifetime staff don’t treat you differently than staff at a 24 hour fitness would. Save your hard earned cash.

Great club with all the amenities and classes you could ask for. However it’s the staff that separate this gym from others. Everyone is so nice and attentive. Specifically, Roberta has changed my mindset when it comes to cycling training. Only reason I haven’t cancelled my membership during the summer is cause of her power classes and knowledge when it comes to supplements, nutrition, and recovery. Shes been instrumental in my race training and super grateful that’s she’s at a gym just across the street from me. 🤘

Nick was incredibly helpful. I’m currently living in downtown Denver for a week before moving out of state, but my original location was in Westminster. The drive from downtown to Westminster takes about an hour, and Nick went out of his way to help me stay at this location during my final days here. Because of this great experience, I’m now considering joining Life Time in San Diego once I move!

This is perhaps the most rundown Lifetime Fitness I’ve ever seen and unfortunately, it’s also the most expensive. At $300 per month, you can expect your rate to increase by roughly 7-14% each year. I was a member for about three years, but the broken equipment, long waits, water leaks, and overcrowded locker rooms made me seriously question the value. In the end, the constant price hikes were the final straw.

I really like this Lifetime fitness facility and highly recommend the spa services there. While visiting my daughter for my birthday, she gifted me a facial (Diane) and a pedicure (Traci). I didn’t feel out of place as an older person with a less than fit physique, something that’s quite common at other fitness places with mostly homogeneous employees and members. Among the employees and members, I saw people from various age groups, ethnicities, and gender identities. I am certain that this went a long way toward contributing to welcome I received from Randi at the desk, and the feeling of ease I experienced while visiting. The technicians were very professional, and they were adept at matching my mood, a SUPER plus. After my facial and pedicure I treated myself to the delicious Tropical Sunrise smoothie at the on-site cafe. Very yummy!

Had such a lovely experience at the Lifetime Spa with Traci! The nail area is cozy and private, the products used are high quality, and Traci’s work is overall impeccable. I have been a member at this location since July of 2022 and I have zero plans of cancelling my membership anytime soon. I absolutely love all the staff at LifeTime. Every time I walk in I am recognized by the front desk staff and welcomed into the club. The membership experience is unmatched at this location, including everyone working behind the scenes here. (Honorable mention: Aerie at the front desk, Caleb, and Krissy at the spa). I joined because they have a year round outdoor heated pool and hot tub that only closes when the temps drop too low or there is a lot of snow in the forecast. Since joining I have discovered that I really enjoy the classes they offer, from yoga to cycling to their versions of classes I have taken at F45 and CrossFit (Alpha). I often will bring my laptop and work remotely in the lounge area. The food in the cafe is delicious, fresh, and nutritious. I have spent way too much on the yummy protein shakes here haha. My favorite new discovery at this location was the spa! They do nails, massages, and facials here! (Pro tip: if you want to visit the club for the day, book a spa appt! You don’t have to be a member). When my mom and brother visited me in Denver recently I treated them to facials and pedicures in the spa. They really enjoyed it.
TLDR
Pros: Outdoor heated pool and hot tub, great classes, professional membership team, incredible spa!
Cons: Could be a bit cleaner, especially on the weekends. Wish there was more parking during busier hours but I will survive.

Was grandfathered in at $180 per month added my wife for an additional $100. After she dropped off the account they raised my rate to $240! Don’t add anyone if you want to keep your grandfathered rate. furthermore, they have been charging me at $5 processing fee to pay with my card. Meanwhile the club is falling apart and filthy.

The vibe there is overall off. There is construction happening nonstop in the parking lot and inside. The only way they are charging this much for this gym is because of the location. One of the employees (pictured in the middle) stood in the corner while I was working out and body shamed me. Talking about my outfit (yoga pants and a sports bra) when there was at least five other women wearing the same thing. It’s worth the commute to go to any other location. They are so much nicer and everyone is friendly.

This facility in particular and Life Time Fitness in general are terrible. They have horrible management and customer “service” that is focused only taking your funds. In my specific case, their system had an error and assigned me to a club that I have never attended. They’ve incorrectly billed me repeatedly. When I pointed this out, they ignored me and continue to wrongly charge me. Protect your funds and work out somewhere else where they will provide more services or at least the same services while they raise your rates. Terrible.

Cardio equipment is constantly broke. When it is reported, the desk attendant does not take notes. They just say thanks. There are no inspections on the equipment to determine faulty equipment. For such an expensive facility, you would think they would keep better control of their limited equipment.
Update 6/18/2024 - due to a medical issue I have not been as active at Liftime. I have only been there twice in the last month almost exactly 30 days apart. Both times I have had to report defective cardio equipment. I did recieve a survey from lifetime in which I did mention the continuiosly defective equipment. I recieved a personal response from the manager reccomending that I find another club. After more than 2 years of clients reporting defective equipment (and canceling their membership) you would think that the Lifetime corporate office would replace this incompetent manager. For as much as they charge, the least that they could do for their clients is provide the basics - working equipment. It's too bad that their isn't another high end club like Equinox around. Lifetime needs competition.

Brian & Arianna at the front desk are the only reason I’m giving this gym any stars. No one in management seems to care about this place or their members. It’s like Lifetime knows that they don’t have any competition in this area that offers the same amenities they do, so they think they can charge members an arm and a leg but then do the BARE MINIMUM. I have been a member of this gym for a while and the only reason I pay their ridiculous fees is because it’s the only gym in the area that offers an outdoor pool, sauna & steam room and you can use other locations which is helpful for me because I travel all over the state for work. Trust me, if there was a better option I would have left this place a long time ago. And Lifetime corporate seems to know that because they don’t hire enough people to keep this place clean. 6 weeks ago I got so fed up with the mirrors always being dirty that I tried cleaning them myself with the mat cleaner and paper towel.. that didn’t work and it left streaks all over the mirror. 6 weeks later, those same streaks are still there. I went up to the front desk and complained two weeks ago and Brian told me I should write a complaint to management. Well that fell on death ears and nothing happened. So today, I went up to Brian and asked him for glass cleaner and a microfiber towel so I could clean the mirrors between sets. I am not one to EVER write a review like this but paying for this Lifetime membership is a big monthly expense for me that I make sacrifices in other areas to afford. I pay $239/month and now they’re charging new members $279/month. If Lifetime is going to charge those insane prices, they NEED to do better. And at those prices, we should have access to the new Denver West location. We were told this was a top tier Lifetime location, which means you could go to any and all other Lifetimes. But now that the Denver West location is complete we are told we can’t go unless we’re at the $279 rate/month or add $20/month onto my current rate? Are you kidding me?! Also, news flash, this location is in Glendale, NOT Cherry Creek. They use the Cherry Creek name to charge more, and that’s absurd. DO BETTER LIFETIME!!!!!!

I joined this gym almost a year ago and, like anything else, there’s pros and cons. I’m a swimmer and I have to say the aquatics programs are great. 5 lanes inside, 6 outside. That makes getting in and out much smoother. The other amenities are solid as well. As I understand it they’re remodeling in a month or 2 and that should spruce things up. Also the rest of the facility offers a lot of benefits. Staff is all friendly and professional.
The cons. To be honest, there’s only one but it’s a big one. This club used to be the cherry creek athletic club which had been around for years. What that means is you have a lot of old hold outs from CCAC days who act like petulant children. They seem to think because they’ve been coming to this club for years that it’s essentially theirs and the rest of us are just leeching guests. There’s a definite “country club” vibe with this older clique of members and it’s created a lot of animosity between themselves and newer members. I’ve had to get in a few of their faces and put them in their place to remind them they dont own the world, as much as they want to believe.
I guess it’s cherry creek so that sense of entitlement is to be expected. But I don’t tolerate that nonsense. Nor should anyone else.

I joined primarily bc childcare at this gym allowed me the opportunity to get a workout in. Also needed to get my kids into swim lessons (extra fee for this) and it was competitive and inconvenient to get them enrolled at Denver rec centers. Both of my kids enjoy kids club and ask to go which is great for motivation. My dtr enjoys swim classes and the camps are awesome. The Coaches for the fitness classes like gtx, barbell, spin (especially Roberta, Sarah and TD) are phenomenal. They are the main reason our family has stayed.
Some cons: The Cherry Creek location requires “Diamond level” membership so we pay the most premium rate and it keeps going up. Its about $500/month to join now (2adults, 2children)! Certain health insurance plans/supplements offer discounts. Curious if the contracted rate paid by Medicare supplements and other contracted insurance companies on behalf of its’ members, is the same as the self pay member dues? Classes are packed esp. Sun. Parking challenges persist. I was advised by management to park at King Sooper’s where there are prominently displayed towing warnings… not to mention I have two small children to get across the street, a gym bag, diaper bag, sometimes need to carry one. At night the parking area is dark and sketchy.

The gym is not worth the money. If there were any decent competitors in the area like an Equinox they'd lose 50% of their membership. It's not well maintained, dirty equipment, dirty locker rooms, old equipment and they raise your rates after about a year by 30% without warning and with no added benefits or upgrades. The only reason I'm a member is because there is no other choice in Denver for a higher end gym. But this gym is anything but. It's odd too because it's just the Colorado locations the Lifetimes in other cities are much nicer and better maintained so it must be the management.

Don’t do it - not worth it. Falls short of the elite Lifetime brand in almost every way. Let me preface this long review by saying I was a very loyal Lifetime Fitness member for a very long time. I was one of the first people to enroll at the Westminster location - pre-IPO and open 24 hrs - and I barely missed a day. When I moved downtown, I joined the Centennial location even though I had to drive 25 minutes each way and maintained my membership through an 18-month period of unemployment, no income. I loved LF’s facilities THAT much. I don’t think I’ve ever posted a negative review (and I apologize for the length of this one), but this has been weighing on my mind for the past year+, since I changed to the CC location when LF bought the Cherry Creek Athletic club.. I recently ended my almost 20 year relationship with LF for a few reasons: First, since LF became a publicly-traded company in 2012, their prices have at least tripled without adding more value. They discontinued old membership plans that were supposed to be valid for the life of the membership and forced members into new plans which stripped away some important benefits. Secondly, I also am in a situation now where I’ve had to spend at least 50% of my time away from Denver caring for my elderly mother and since LF changed their policy limiting the number and lengths temporary membership holds (one of the new rules under the new membership plans), it doesn’t make sense for me to pay $180 - $230 per month to NOT use the facilities. Secondly, specifically regarding the Cherry Creek location; the Cherry Creek location is supposed to be a top-tier club but it falls FAR short of its elite status relative to other Lifetime Fitness facilities (other than the original, old LFs in Minnesota). For a very long time this facility had a great reputation as the old Cherry Creek Athletic Club, but it started to go downhill and LF snatched it up. They now charge $230 per month for a standard membership for facilities and programs that fall far short of competitors. By LF standards, the locker rooms are cramped, the saunas are cramped, the hours are limited, the parking lot is insufficient. The weight and training areas are somewhat strangely dispersed and relatively insufficient. The neighborhood is rough around the edges and I’ve seen some sketchy activity in the parking lot (let’s be honest, it’s located in Glendale, NOT Cherry Creek). Seriously, spend your money elsewhere. If you’re absolutely set on Lifetime, join the Centennial or Parker locations. Join Colorado Athletic Club downtown. Join Chuze (it doesn’t look sexy but it has facilities that are on par with LF-CC)! Save the $230 per month and buy a home gym. Maybe you’re a longtime member, remember it for its glory days, and can’t bear to think about changing your swimming or Pilates routines, but if you’re shopping around, I recommend going elsewhere.

The instructors and staff are incredible at Lifetime Cherry Creek. Arianna Blazovic is always accommodating, friendly, and welcoming at the club, and she goes out of her way to make the experience of members and guests wonderful. She is an asset to the organization.
Sarah D. is an excellent fitness instructor. I've taken her yoga classes for several years now and have also taken her other fitness classes, and she never fails to amaze me with her level of dedication and skill in motivating me to be my best self. Her classes inspire me to exercise when I need it most.
Roberta is also an incredible instructor- she puts a great deal of thought and care into each of her classes, and I can tell she is a great leader at the club. Anna H does a phenomenal job of teaching GTX - I love the way she does music trivia on the first Friday of every month.
I am very grateful to be a member of Lifetime; it's been a great way for my husband and I to spend quality time together while exercising, and it feels like another home.

The worst gym I’ve ever been to. I’m surprised by this because of how much they charge in memberships. I personally want to shout out Cassidy Grigg for being the absolute worst manager I’ve ever had to deal with. He’s very disingenuous, arrogant & I personally don’t understand why LT would hire this type of person to be in charge of their concierge management. There’s also a concierge employee, I believe his name is Brian, he claims he’s the manager (he’s clearly NOT) that is constantly racist (specifically towards darker skinned members). The actual GM, Duane Wish-something is also clearly a racist, which is why I’m assuming these standards & practices go on. Next time you’re there ask yourself, why is there not any POC employees nor members? That question in itself explains it all. The gym itself is loaded with issues, unclean machines, sauna & women’s jacuzzi is OUT often. Besides theses incompetent employees & several problems, I just know that LT could do much better, at least I see the potential. Just tear the building down & start over tbh!

Your staff said it was canceled in December, with and additional charge for a mandatory monthly after cancellation. But it didn’t cancel, I kept getting charged, and now you want to casually charge me another month!!!!
P.S. your staff Did eventually cancel it over the phone !

My one stop shop for the gym, workout classes, yoga, pool, sauna, hot tub, steam room, massages, facial, nails, eyelashes, and more. With a country club vibe, the staff get to know you and everyone feels like family here. My only concern is that when something needs fixing like equipment or steam room, sometimes it takes a little longer than I’d hope to get it up and running again.

Good Gym, Danny one of the representatives from the Desk, showed me around the gym, very friendly staff, a lot of great equipment, the only thing I can add is that there isn’t enough flat benches near the free weights rack, other than that an Excellent place to train

I’m a member here but only because it’s the best pool in the city. Ever since they were acquired by Lifetime they’ve gone down the drain. Their customer service sucks and no one picks up the phone ever when I call to ask if the pool is open. Unfortunately I’m stuck with these people.

Supposed to be the most expensive and nicest gym in Denver but they close earlier than all the other locations which by the way pre covid every lifetime was open 24/7. Now the highest level club in the state closes at like 10pm. A lot of their amenities aren’t working too often. The club is smaller and has a lot less to offer than most of the other cheaper locations. Cherry creek club should be a lower level than the Broomfield centennial or Parker location or at least the same level not 200 dollars per month. Also really don’t like reading all the reviews regarding racism. It’s 2022 people let’s step it up Life Time fitness

I love this gym! The employees are super nice and helpful and the facilities are clean and well kept. This gym has everything that you’d need to work out and it’s always clean. My favorite thing to do after a workout is to use the steam sauna and hot tub in the women’s locker room. It’s the best! Also shout out to Maria the locker room attendant who works nights she knows most guest by name, and is always working hard!

Yikes! I was told by 2 locals that this was a nice Life Time Fitness. I’m not sure what their barometer of what nice means when they say nice but they were waaaay off.
We came here on Saturday AM and when we pulled up the exterior seemed like we were going into a physicians group type offices not a gym.
It seemed like it was a make shift gym in a building where multiple tenants used to occupy offices.
The Mens locker room was piece mealed as it was part of the Spa. The locker room must have had 6-7 rooms or compartments of lockers clumped into the locker room.
The basketball court is in the middle of gym which is weird.
I ended up leaving after 20 minutes as I didn’t feel the vibe or look of the gym at all.
If you can, make the drive to their locations except Westminster.

Overpriced for available amenities here vs. other lifetime facilities - even with recent Lifetime “updates,” the place is so ancient and super small. Husband is a lifetime fitness member of about 8 years. He enjoys and looks forward to the sauna but unfortunately his experience at the cherry st location in Glendale,CO is significantly diminished when the mens sauna is not working half of the time. For the amount of time he’s been a member and the amount of membership dues paid, don’t members deserve a working sauna?

Warning! Think twice about going to LifeTime Fitness in Glendale, their parking lot is outright dangerous. My wife got her car brutally smashed in and her purse and other valuables taken in the middle of the day. This is where the story should have ended, but the GM knows that the parking lot is dangerous and has a lot of break ins but has chosen to do nothing. Their corporate headquarters does not care about safety, only the almighty dollar. Choose another of the many wonderful gyms around, not LifeTime.

I wanted to write a review about my personal training experience with Christian O. Christian is the best personal trainer I have ever had the pleasure to learn from and work with. Christian is a true professional and very good at what he does. Most importantly, Christian is extremely personable, patient, and clearly interested in the goals, journey, and outcomes of his clients. I hope to be able to work with Christian many more times moving forward. And the club is a great facility as well, happy to be a member.

One yoga class each weekend day with 11 people on the waiting list. Pilates is separate from the gym do not sign a contract. Their class times are ridiculous. New availability for working people. Horrible business model, updates are never finished while they charge you in full, totally inconvenient Gym due to their class scheduling. Weekends and after work are pretty horrible-all their classes are from 5 AM to 1 PM. Most frustrating gym I have ever been a part of. At this point they are desperate money grab.

I joined a few months ago and I love it here! The front desk associates are always so nice and i come at different times and see so many different staff and instructors and they are all really great. The womens locker room is down for renovation. Which sucks but at least we’ll get a new locker room! So if you’re rude to the front desk for it being down than you’re an idiot. It’s not their fault. They’ve been extremely polite and apologetic during this time and it’s not even their fault. But it’ll be up this week hopefully! So join if you haven’t!

Kudos to the proprietors of this location for 1) fooling the members into paying for a platinum membership for this location and 2) somehow convincing corporate that this is a platinum location. I travel here regularly for business and today was the first day I was told I didn't have the membership level needed to go here. This location is not even in the same universe as the Lifetimes in my home city that aren't considered Platinum. It's an older building. As a result, the layout is awful. The weight area is split into two separate areas of the building completely away from eachother because they can't fit it all in the same space. Even with those two spaces, they don't have nearly the amount of equipment that other Lifetimes have. The whole place feels like a dungeon because all of the different areas are separated by walls and the only space with a high ceiling is the basketball court. A couple weeks ago when I came, they didn't even have the locker rooms open because they were doing renovations. The explanation I received was that it's a Platinum because 1) They are renovating and 2) Because it's in Cherry Creek. How can you be IN THE MIDDLE of major renovations and be considered the highest level Lifetime? Just because of the location? The Lifetimes I go to are in much more affluent areas than Cherry Creek in a much larger Metro than Denver. They're way nicer and newer. But somehow this one is a Platinum.
Lifetime corporate should be looking at this.

This is a fantastic place to work out. The front desk is always kind and helpful. There are so many activities and classes.
A big shout out to Alex and his Alpha strength classes. After three months 2-3 times/ week, my body has transformed as I have lost weight and gained muscle mass. Alex has always been there with encouraging words, challenging and varied workouts, and helpful suggestions customized to my abilities. The workouts are tough but really fun, especially the partner Sunday Throwdowns! Class members are super supportive no matter your skills or abilities.
As a master swimmer, the pool is awesome. Even during the pandemic, the pool was open and there was no need for lap swim reservations. People are kind when asked to share lanes.

Not at all what would be considered "Diamond Level" membership. Of all the Colorado locations, this one is has the fewest equipment selection in the oldest building with the cheapest looking amenities. The minimal equipment is outdated and lower quality with the total free weight area about 1/3 the normal size compared to other locations. It’s often overcrowded so expect to be working out on top of others or waiting for equipment. The locker room isn’t any better as it’s crammed and only has 6 sinks. The family locker room literally has a wooden closet door at the entrance and is roughly the size of a closet with a single sink. Also the Life Cafe is never open, even during peak hours.
The standard gold level locations surpass the quality here and the Flatirons location is by far the best in the state. You're paying for "Cherry Creek" yet it's located in Glendale about a mile from the actual Cherry Creek neighborhood. Definitely not worth the price tag. Pay for the Gold membership and stick to the other locations.

Simply the best. I think I’ve probably been to every “nice” gym in denver and this one is just so special. The people who work here make you feel important and comfortable. It’s always spotless, equipment is always put away correctly, and so MUCH equipment available. Everything you could ever want. A track, huge weight area, a secluded quiet room for stretching, racquetball quarts, indoor outdoor pools, hot tub, yoga, top notch spin instructors. And I could go on. The the best thing? The absolute top attribute of this gym is the Tuesday/Thursday morning alpha fitness classes with Tyler. Best trainer I’ve ever seen. So passionate, and every single workout pushes me beyond my limits in a creative and fresh way. All the other attendees are regular to the class because it really is transformative. I drive 35 min to get here and pass even another lifetime location to come to class.
Yes the price isn’t the lowest in town. But it’s so worth it.

The Life Time Fitness in Cherry Creek is struggling with identity. The club promotes (and charges) as a "luxury" experience for the paying member. However, in reality, the club is far from it. In fact, it feels more like a YMCA Summer Camp with adults sprinkled in.
I was excited to join the club to take advantage of the outdoor pool. During my initial visit, there were kids (Swim team and lessons) EVERYWHERE. I decided to not join. However, I was sold by the staff that the kids will be inside and the outdoor pool is reserved for paying members. Reluctantly, I joined.
After two months of enjoying lap swimming outdoors, May 15th hits. Then, the kids' swim team moves outside (now that it's warm) and occupies 4 (of the 6 lanes) lanes M-F, 3pm-7pm!
I've seen paying members drive an hour in traffic only to wait for hours for a lane to open up. I've seen paying adult members swim in the adjacent kids' pool to attempt to get laps in.
I brought this issue up to management, asking that the kids be focused on the indoor pool, but was told during the summer, adult members get two lanes outside and the option to swim inside.
In short, as a paying member (almost $200 per month) you are at the bottom of the pecking order when it comes to availability and hospitality.
The club is clearly struggling for money hence why they are so focused on the kids aquatics. In reality, the classes/teams are so overbooked (6-8 kids per lane), the kids are getting a terrible experience and barely able to swim.
This club is not luxurious or adult friendly and falls short of its goal of being a kids swimming facility.
There are 4 clubs within 4 miles that offer an indoor pool at a fraction of the cost.
