I love coming here to work out! All of the coaches are super knowledgeable and welcoming. In the last 4 months, I’ve seen huge improvements with my strength, mobility, and confidence with lifting. Also, Michelle’s mobility class is the bomb!

I learned about Lions Den because it was conveniently 4 minutes away from my house and I desperately needed someone to metaphorically hold my hand in my attempt to revitalize my fitness journey. The team genuinely cares about guiding their clients closer to their goals. I have only been going for 4 months and I am already practicing movements I never thought possible! The workout plans are professionally crafted and they mix things up after each cycle is completed. It's liberating to show up and know you will be coached through a challenging and effective class- you are not alone in it! Many thanks to the Lions Den team for being so friendly, motivating, and skillful!

I found the Lions Den when I was searching for a CrossFit box. I also was open beyond CF because of the risks linked to bad form (and injuries) with heavy weights and high reps.
What I love about the Lions Den is that the coaches and workout plans are very intentional—
on functional mobility and strength, on form, warm ups, soft tissue work, and whatever variations needed to accommodate small or bigger injuries and keeping a growth course.
I love when the coaches correct my form, or when they give me advice on very specific gain goals. One super cool gain that I wasn’t even shooting for is my endurance, but it improved so much, and I also watched myself sprinting better than I have ever experienced. 🏃♀️
The only thing I’m missing is the gymnastics piece of CF. But if that’s not an affinity for someone, I believe this is an outstanding gym. I also met one of my best friends there, many great people, and their Christmas workouts and parties are awesome. 😁

I came to this space to focus on Fusion Combat Training Center. When I walked into the gym, I was greeted by Ian, a Lions Den employee, and my life was changed for the better. My goal into 2025 was to really lean into a fitness routine, as I’d never had one before. I was intrigued by the class session environment, compared to an open gym. For me, the class environment allows me to ‘not think & just do’.
I think the entire Lions Den staff are remarkable and well educated. From my initial assessment & 1:1 work with Ian, to my now 2.5 months of class sessions with Reagan, Jeff, Sarah, Tristan, and Kim, whom I’ve trained with most. I feel that they all have vested interest in my success.
I still was interested in Fusion Combat, so now I’m actually a member of both programs, which grants me a 20% discount on each! This bonus has made my experience much more enjoyable and I am finding the value, everytime I enter the gym.
With Lions Den, I signed up for the 12 month, Base Plus program, which grants me access to their sauna & ice bath recovery room. This was an added bonus for me, since I hadn’t utilized a sauna/ice bath in my fitness for a couple years now!
I am genuinely happy with my investment and while I have missed a week of classes due to a minor injury, I really felt the pull to want to be at Lions Den, in the class, and then into the sauna/ice bath.
I love it here, looking forward to grinding away and becoming a more well-rounded individual!

After a few years at LD, I can confidently say that it’s the best gym I’ve ever been apart of. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and invested in each individual’s well being. The programming is all encompassing and never gets dull. No matter your skill level, you will feel welcomed and challenged. My wife and I have found an amazing community thanks to this gym and we can’t imagine our lives without it. Do yourself a favor and sign up for a one-week trial, you won’t regret it.

To put it simply, Lions Den is a really great gym. I've tried all kinds of gyms, classes and programs but this is the first time I've actually seen results and improved my form. Plus the trainers and other members are just nice, good people. Mon, Weds, Fri are my favorite days!
When you first sign up, you'll get a free mobility assessment where they basically check out how you move, see if there are any injuries and get an understanding of where you could improve mobility wise and then you get a free week of classes. I've never had this done before and let me say, knowledge is power! I'm more in tune with how my body works and the trainers are also aware of my weaker areas and make adjustments where needed.
Give it a shot - you won't regret it!

I’ve been to quite a number of gyms, most often CrossFit gyms. Lions Den by far has the most expert coaches I’ve met in my fitness journey! I always feel challenged with their personally programmed functional fitness classes, unlike some of the generically programmed CrossFit gyms I’ve been to. I very much appreciate the professional expertise that all the coaches bring to the table, especially as I meet my own physical challenges. Lions Den caters to all fitness levels and Coach Kim instrumental in helping me lose over 100lbs! Thanks to her, my life is entirely new and different!

Lion’s Den is by far the greatest workout experience I’ve ever participated in. They conduct a thorough movement assessment to ensure the workouts are suited for you and to highlight any injuries. All the coaches I’ve trained with are incredibly positive and uplifting, truly encouraging you to go through the brutal circuits. The facility is clean and welcoming. And my favorite part is the recovery room; a cold plunge, sauna, and massaging boots essentially available at any time. I will absolutely refer every person in my life to come here.

I’ve been a member at Lion’s Den Strength and Performance since August 2022, and I can confidently say it has changed my life. The coaches here aren’t just trainers—they’re truly invested in your well-being, and the community feels like family. Their holistic approach to training is incredibly functional, with a strong emphasis on mobility and flow work, which has made a huge difference in how I move and feel. I’ve never felt stronger or fitter!
Workouts here are no joke—challenging but rewarding—and they’ve become a highlight of my day. It’s also a huge plus that my physical therapist (shoutout to Physioroom!) is in the same space, making it easy to integrate rehab and performance training. Every coach brings something unique to the table, and you really can’t go wrong with any class. If you’re looking for a gym that pushes you while also supporting your overall well-being, Lion’s Den is it!

Lions Den is such a great combination of things. First and foremost the people. Tristan and the team are so knowledgeable and welcoming. The equipment and facility are top shelf. I used to hate them, but the steel maces are becoming a favorite. The programming is second to none.
They put proper mechanics at the forefront, and build off of that solid foundation.

I had a great experience with the Lion Dens Resilient: Body & Mind program. I joined the program last year when I was just starting to get back into fitness and health, and even though I was only there for a short time, it helped kickstart and revitalize my fitness journey.
I have to say that Sarah Martin, the coach of the program, is truly wonderful. She's very caring and it's clear that she cares a lot about her clients. Her dedication to her clients' well-being was evident from the very beginning, and I found it to be incredibly motivating and inspiring.
I'm grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of such a supportive program, and definitely give Sarah credit for helping me kickstart my fitness journey and getting to where I'm at today.
I highly recommend this program to anyone who's looking for guidance and support on their fitness journey. And to Sarah, thank you so much for being such a wonderful coach!

Sarha has been a great instructor for the last three months as I waited to gain the strength and ease nerve pain from Sciatica, which I have been suffering for over six months. Less than two months later after working out with her, my sciatica pain is almost gone!
I was extremely impressed by Sarha's knowledge of body structure and functions.
The best part of working with her is that she follows through with me before and after each session.
She remembers what my problem was from the last session and is always available when I have any questions. I felt safe and encouraged.
I highly recommend working with Sarha, especially for anyone with physical problems that require attention.

Lions Den is hands down the best gym I’ve joined. I’ve worked out in traditional gyms for over 10 years and tried CrossFit for a couple years; it wasn’t for me, but I found I enjoyed the group class/session structure. Enter Lions Den — the classes are led by very knowledgeable and attentive trainers, and the top-notch programming is great for both anaerobic strength and cardio conditioning. If you’re at home with free weights (kettlebells, barbells, dumbbells) and like going heavy, there’s plenty of that, unlike a lot of other popular group gym classes. If you’re new and a bit nervous with free weights, the coaches will get you up to speed, and the community is very supportive and welcoming. I joined Lions Den for the knowledgeable coaches and excellent programming emphasizing strength and movement, and I stuck around for the fantastic community. Give it a try!

I love Lions Den! Ever since joining this gym about a month ago, I felt very motivated to come to group classes almost every day. There are classes offered in the early morning, at noon and in the evening - good, varied range of different options. Each class is a perfect mix of challenging and fun, and they’re never the same, so it never gets boring! I really enjoy the kettlebell flow and mace workouts led by amazing coach Sarah Martin, it’s awesome to learn new movements and see what your body is capable of. The strength training classes helped me to improve my form and feel more confident lifting heavier weights. All the coaches are extremely knowledgeable and supportive, the facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere is great. Thank you!

I've tried out a lot of gyms and sports clubs in Denver. This place is great! They partner with my MMA gym at their new facility. But they help take your strength training, conditioning, and overall fitness to a new level. The coaches are really good people. Their coaching will help your overall performance, and will coach you to being a better athlete in general. It's quality functional fitness. But they can help with sport recovery and injury prevention as well. I think they are a good fit for any athlete since they will customize a training program for you. Tristan is one of the most educated trainers out there. I went in to see him after developing an acromioclavicular joint, or better known as an AC joint separation in my left shoulder. I had been to several physical therapists before seeing Tristan but none of them compared. After a 60 minute session we had narrowed down the underlying issues behind my injury and Tristan developed an entire training plan for me. The results have been almost instant and even better they're long lasting. The education I gained in our 60 minute session will prevent me from this injury again. To add onto the great training Tristan had a genuine concern behind my injury and well being. He even ended the session with a remark along the lines of, "I don't want you spending money if you don't need to. Try this stuff out and text me if you need anything." I couldn't reccomend Tristan enough. He can replace a personal trainer or in my opinion even a physical trainer. If you have any sort of physical goal or injury he should be your go to guy.

I've been coming here since they opened in March of 2018 and I've noticed a change in my flexibility, my endurance, my strength, my mood and overall vitality. I look better, feel better, and have more confidence. Because of this, I am compelled to write them a review.
In the last half decade I've dabbled in different boutique gyms and memberships - you could say I've been around! The workouts at Lion's Den leave no muscle unturned, and will challenge and test you.
What's the workout like? It's an hour workout, with (currently) Mondays focusing on lower body, Wednesdays upper body, Fridays Hinge mechanics/glutes, and Saturdays are kind of a summary of the workweek/full body work. They focus on form and the reason behind it, because.. science! (You will inevitably learn a lot!) The beginning of class is a warm up, with the core work out containing 3-4 sections of a mash up of different compound movements, and the last part of the class is mobility (think of deep tissue massage that you give yourself using equipment to help blood flow/speed up your recovery).
As for equipment for the workouts, you can expect to use a mix of body weight exercises, kettlebells, barbells, dumbbells, medicine balls, battle ropes, sled, bands, clubs and maces - yes clubs and maces! (I tap into my inner battle-mage when doing mace 360's and warrior squats. :D) And for mobility you will be using things like rollers, balls, and bands to help work out knots and stretch/lengthen your muscles.
The demographic at the gym is very diverse with members of all different ages and fitness levels. The workouts are modifiable - so if you are fighting an injury, if you really want to go heavy and push, or if you are new to this whole "fitness" thing - the workout can be tailored to fit. Their goal is to educate and help each individual be that "complete and balanced athlete."
In order to do the above, they keep the class sizes small and with this the instructors are able to watch you and give you one on one feedback. With the class sizes also being small you are able to build friendships with other members - Lion's Den has done such a great job of creating a fun, supportive, positive community.
To make things easy, they have quick grab healthy bites from Zeal - I love the pineapple jalapeno cold pressed juice, as well as their really addicting protein balls. They also have locker rooms and showers if you need to get ready right after the workout.
I've included photos so you can get a better idea/sense of the place too.
If you are looking for a gym that will challenge you, that you can learn from, that you can grow from, that you can call home - give them a try! I hope to see you in class! :)
