Front desk staff is so rude and unprofessional. I at all other YMCA locations am greeted every single day, whereas here I have never been treated like a person. Following up on another review I was also rudely told to sign out along with my guest who wasn’t even on my membership yet. I told them I have never signed out and was never informed of that and had my membership for years. The unfriendliness is downright uncomfortable and unacceptable. I would never bring my 3 kids to this location or anyone I cared for.

I came here a lot last year using my nationwide YMCA membership, but today left a bad taste in my mouth. I was unexpectedly yelled at by a staff member to “check out” when leaving, something I’ve never had to do at any other gym—YMCA or otherwise. It felt unnecessary and unprofessional.

The parking lot is another major issue. It’s constantly packed with elderly drivers who don’t look before backing out. If you value your car, think twice—dings and close calls are more common here than they should be.

Inside, the weightlifting area is small and poorly laid out. There’s not much room, and equipment is outdated or limited. The main problems boil down to staff attitude and a chaotic, hazardous parking lot. Not worth more than 2 stars in my book.

Data mining by forcing you to sign in with their unscure app. Another modern technique to take advantage of the less technically litterate. Tell them you want an analog option, like a keypad to sign in. It's deplorable to force us to bring a smartphone to the gym at all.

My husband and I have had a LOT of great experiences, at the Y, over the years. The employees and friends we have met make it a great place to workout and be social. Many thanks to the employees that have kept me working out and moving. Thank you to:

I've been to a lot of gyms and the Littleton Y is my favorite! The staff, members, and equipment are awesome - it has everything I need and is one of the cleanest places I've worked out at.

Everything is impeccably clean and the staff are all very friendly. I had a wonderful workout and found all the machines I needed and then some! There is a glute machine which I haven’t found at any of the other Ys and the locker room has lotion! 😁 The layout is really cool and the Ninja room looks really fun!

I have been a member for several years (stopped during Covid but resumed afterwards) as I wanted to support the Y. However, this is an older facility which seems to have on-going maintenance issues. There were also issues with locker theft. Even with all of this, I was willing to continue supporting the Littleton location until a recent interaction with a lady - who I believe is a manager- at the front desk who was extremely rude and unpleasant. As a result, I cancelled my membership this month. I wish the YMCA all the best in its mission but the Littleton location needs to be updated and better managed.

I had my daughter enrolled in thier volleyball program and it was totally unorganized. When you pay you're basically paying for the gym and the equipment because the parents are the coaches. My daughter was pushed and bullied during practices by the other players because she was younger and less experienced. I stopped taking her there it was no longer fun and encouraging. Totally an unhealthy environment. Find somewhere that invests in your child's growth and development even if it costs more because this isn't it.

Knowledgeable, friendly staff and a non-competitive environment have kept me here for years! AJ and Kelly manage the facility with professionalism and integrity. They uphold the club values and behavioral expectations of guests and youth teams and parents, which members expect and appreciate.

What a nice, clean, friendly, and well equipped YMCA! I’ve been an out of town guest this month and really enjoy working out there. They’ve made me feel at home. I’ve done strength workouts in various rooms. Weights and space are always available. Indoor cycling classes and pickleball are well attended too.

Don't get ripped off! When I decided to finally cancel, based on their overpriced costs, dirty facilities and limited, low quality, workout equipment, it took me 4 months, countless phone calls, and 140 dollars of extra billing. If you give these people your card information they will bill you until eternity. Since their customer service is totally unresponsive, there's not much you can do.

The front desk lady (Kelly) is extremely rude, condescending, and extremely unprofessional. She even went as far as to calling me names in the lobby. The situation was extremely small and blown way out of proportion on her end.
My family and I attended the YMCA basketball tournament and I decided to go across the street to get my family and I some Starbucks. When I arrived with 7 drinks Kelly told me that they didn’t allow drinks in the gym area. I found this weird because so many people in the bleachers had beverages including starbucks, open soda cans, and some even had food. However I didn’t say anything and obeyed the gyms “policy”. I told my family that if they wanted their drinks (some even being waters) that they would have to leave the game and drink them in the lobby. My sister on the other hand is a rebel and figured since other people in the bleachers had their drinks, that she could get away with bringing it into the gym and continue to watch the game.
Kelly came to find me (in the lobby enjoying my coffee with the rest of my family) to tell me to go get my sister out of the gym with her drink. I told Kelly that it was just water, but she said that it didn’t matter. Again, I respected her wishes and went to go get my sister. As I’m watching my sister make her way to the lobby with her drink I couldn’t help but laugh at my sisters walk of shame. My sister and I laughed it off, and didn’t think much of the situation. Kelly comes over to my sister and I and tells me “you are extremely tacky”… however I heard “you are extremely attacking”.
I was so confused and said “I’m not attacking anyone…?” Kelly then says “No, TACKY, not attacking! Do you know what TACKY means? I said TACKY” and then she walked away.

I was shocked to say the least and from a distance I told her that she is acting completely unprofessional and I didn’t appreciate her name calling. She continued to be immature and call me “tacky” (whatever that means), so I walked away and removed myself from the lobby. After the game was over, I politely went to go ask for the supervisors information (unfortunately she is the only secretary working that day or I would have asked someone else). She told me that she already reported the incident and I don’t need to worry about it. I told her that I still need the information. She didn’t have a number to give me but she offered a email.
She started to give me the email…”B!” (long pause, as if I’m slow)
“Merry, like the Christmas holiday if you know that holiday”
At this point I feel myself starting to tear up, as I’m so upset and her contradicting behavior has cut me to the core.
I’m astounded that not only does she think this is an appropriate way to treat someone while on the job, but someone so heartless and nasty is working in youth center. Plus, if this is how she acts in small situations like this one, I can only imagine the extent of her behavior. At the end of the day I hope she doesn’t continue to treat people else like this (especially the amazing kids that attend this location). I highly suggest the YMCA set boundaries on how their staff is treating others while trying to enforce their policies.

******Since this review, Billy Merryman reached out to me and was the nices/most professional man I've spoken too. He heard the situation and found a solution to the problem right away. I definitely love this ymca, and even if theres issues (here and there) they are quick to solve the problem!

This location would be amazing if staff would let you know if a class was canceled. Even with a week notice! The management does not respect me or my time. If it wasn’t for the amazing coach Kath, I’d never come back.

I reached out to try to do community service here and to be honest it’s like pulling teeth to even try. Shouldn’t be this difficult to get a response even after many follow ups and passing their background check. I understand that my community service is mandated from another county but I live in Arapahoe county and provided all documents to get this completed here and still no response. Just sad and disappointing!

Edited from a 3 star to a 1 star review.
Been trying to cancel my membership. I called August 3, August 11, and August 25. Each time, I spoke to someone who left a note saying they will cancel my membership. Got a charge on my card September 1. I called September 6 where they appologized for the error and claimed to have cancelled it again. I then got transfered to the "Solutions Center" to request my refund. I left a message explaining the situation. I called repeatedly and finally got through today. The "Solutions Center" said my membership was not cancelled yet and they didn't have any evidence of me calling the Y 3 times in August for cancelling. So no refund will be issued unless I convince the Littleton Y to call them and tell them I called 3 times in August.

This is a great YMCA location. I visited this location from out-of-town and used the facilities twice. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful, and welcomed me like I was a local YMCA patron. I used the pool and lockers during both visits, and the lockers and showers were impeccably clean and new. The pool area and racquetball courts are excellent. I highly recommend this YMCA location.

This YMCA does not take its sports seriously you pay a lot of money for your kids to play baseball and there is never anyone here to help them. There are only parent coaches they are never on time. The Y will cancel games not let the families know. It is a complete joke here. We have had our son in here for two years and this will be the last time we bring him here. We are leaving to go to foothills where they actually have teams and coaches that teach your children. Our son asks every time if all they are gonna do is practice. He would like to actually play a game. Please parents do not waste your money on this Y for your children especially if you want your child to be serious about any sport.

I was trying to play the game because I’m on a ymca team but the refs did not call a foul when I was shoved to the ground and me and my team were being called bad names and there coach was cray cray and said discouraging things. If you are just trying to have I would recommend not going to the y

I love said club! Blonde front staff member is a super sweetheart. Also, her boss a Latin American guy is really caring and nice too. Club is equipment is good and you cannot beat price. What is more priceless? 20 really super happy and carefree kids running hoops at five years old. Those coaches multicultural make working with children a blast, and so totally majorly like a festival in fun! I love Dry Creek Y!

The Littleton YMCA is so great! Especially during this covid period. They are open again and they bare taking great precautions to ensure we are safe and their staff is safe. They still have some group classes and they still have their pool open. They even have a special time for senior members only. Rick, one of the staff members there who usually opens, has such a positive and high energy he always makes my day! All the staff is super friendly and helpful as well!

We have been members of the Littleton Y for 6 years and we love it! The programs are great, staff is very friendly and welcoming, price is completely reasonable and facilities are nice. I drop my kids off in the child care room where they play with a million toys, color pictures, sometimes go outside on the playground, and have fun with other kids. The locker room has always been clean anytime I've been there. It's not high-end swanky like a membership club, it's a fun and friendly place with a sense of community. Our kids do swimming lessons, Tae Kwon Do (through Eagle Spirit Academy which rents space from the Y) and basketball, while my husband and I participate in spin classes, Zumba, and other programs. It's a wonderful place, and I recommend checking it out for yourself!
