I started lodestone with the 6 week challenge (includes nutritional plans/guidelines, as well as strength training 3x a week). I’m not one that loves exercising and have tried a lot of different types of cardio and strength training classes. I was having trouble being motivated to exercise and maintain good nutrition.

I have really enjoyed my sessions at lodestone. They give you as much or as little guidance you want/need, whether you’re a beginner or experienced. Group classes are small (largest I’ve been to had about 8 of us). They can help adjust exercises when they’re too difficult or painful due to injuries or soreness. They encourage and push you to increase the difficulty when you need it (but not overly in your face, as I hate that).

Within the six weeks, I’ve met my goal of losing my muffin top and being able to button my jeans again (it’s the little things, right). I’ve also improved my overall strength and tone. I would recommend lodestone to anyone, especially if you’re having a hard time getting back into exercising or feeling like you need a little push to become motivated about your health again (both applied to me)!

Wrapping up the 6 week challenge and can say it works if you do. I lost 20 lbs. in six weeks. Neil is a terrific coach and really engages with his members. The nutrition plan and cookbook were top notch and eased the transition to eating healthy and clean with good flavorful recipes.

The workouts are focused and flow nicely. Gym members are supportive and chill with a great sense of community and shared understanding of goals.

I highly recommend this community gym. Great place to start and continue in a healthier lifestyle.

I lost 25 pounds(and 4% body fat) in 6 weeks. It is possible. You HAVE TO be focused and regimented about your meals and AT LEAST 3 workouts weekly. Neil and Denise are incredibly supportive and intelligent coaches, but YOU have to work. I am a high school wrestling coach and was injured most of the time and they worked with me to implement the workouts in a way that worked with my injuries, but still allowed me to push myself. In addition, the community in this gym is incredible. Supportive and positive, they are a must have if you appreciate a team atmosphere.

I have been training with Neil and Denise since 2010. I love their coaching - always upbeat! They know how to recognize your limitations and can seamlessly switch exercises to meet your ability level. The programming is THE BEST - never monotonous. And now that my son is getting old enough, I am eager to get him in the kids programs with them as well. Look no further for great coaching, excellent training, and fun!!!

Love this place and the staff!

Lodestone Strength has supportive staff and an effective program. If you’re trying to lose weight, build muscle tone or train for competitive lifting this is the place. I was able to drop 10 pounds in 6 weeks following their nutrition and workout plan. They have small groups, which allows for personal coaching and no intimidation.
