Hands down the best gym I have ever worked out at. I drive 30 minutes to come here and it’s the best hour of my day! The community, the coaches, and the members make this a dream gym. We have all walks of life in here and that makes it extremely special. We cover and focus on every fitness category from weights/strength, to cardio, core, agility, and balance. We have ALL the toys and nothing we have doesn’t get used! We use it all! The workout is always challenging and fun! And no workout is the same, ever! We do a ton of outside events - social hours, incline workouts, Ragnar races, ladies nights, guys nights, family nights, and fundraisers for the community! Manic Training lacks nothing! So thankful for everyone here!

I have been going to Manic off and on for over 10 years! It takes the guess work out of what you are going to do for a workout. Pete, David, Karrie and Nehara are all excellent trainers, they are very knowledgeable on the proper form. Manic has added yoga to their raster and I just did a class with Alex and she has challenged me in a new way! She does poses I have never done before. Venus is also an amazing yoga instructor and will focus on any areas that need attention. I highly recommend this gym, it’s well rounded. Your muscles 💪 will thank you!

Manic is such a great place to challenge yourself physically and mentally 👊🏻 my husband and I have LOVED working out there the last few months! And they allow kids to hangout in the front room (age appropriate of course) while we get to workout together! This is a huge game changer for us as we love working out together. Workouts are amazing and invigorating and burn tons of calories while also giving a mental challenge - no turning your brain off while you work out! It all has to be invested. Especially love Laura, Pete, and David as instructors 🔥Love it so much - thank you, Manic!

A program, a community and trainers that truly stand out from all other gyms in the area. Every HIIT workout is dynamic, challenging and hits new muscle groups every time. Pete & Laura really motivate everyone to push their limits. I’ve been a consistent gym girl for 20 years & have never seen a gym like this. Love it!

I've been coming to Manic for going on 6 years. In that time I have never for a moment been bored, and I've always wanted to show up regularly. I've made lifelong friends here with other members and even the owner. I Love this place. It's taught me movement, endurance, it has given me strength, and set me up for a permanent love affair with fitness. I lost 50 lbs in 3 and 1/2 months doing this alone and I've never looked back. I absolutely attribute my body's appearance to it. Manic will forever be the greatest gym and fitness program I'll ever be a part of.

I really like the size and community at Manic. The trainers are really good, and I appreciate that I'm pushed, not shoved, to improve and do better. Managing old injuries, a new "physique", and a new age bracket means starting slower (and more sore) than I want to, but I like that the people are encouraging.

I love Manic! I've had years of issues after too much running. I spent a lot of time and money in PT, dry needling, massage etc. I've tried everything out there: Crossfit - too weightlifting-centric for me, many gyms have subpar coaching for what you need when lifting that heavy. OrangeTheory - I loved, but the running got to me, and as they got too corporate and it became boring. I get bored in a gym. F45 was great, but Manic has much more variety and social outings and isn't corporate (same price without the commitments). I also like 60 min over 45 min, but there are 45 min slots at Manic if needed. F45 only does 60 min on Saturdays. I do feel like F45 has more "coaching" if you need more input. There are a couple of coaches per class, and they are very in tune with everyone. Manic is more casual, and the coaches sometimes work out with you. F45 does show your HR up on the screen, which is fun, but I just do it on my watch. The points from F45 aren't customized to your max HR, so the splat points didn't really apply to me because of low max HR.
I love that Manic is focused on getting in shape to go out and live life to the fullest. There are lots of fun outings like climbing the Manitou incline and happy hours. They host DEKA events which is fun. They are open to kids with kid classes, and my 10-year-old often joins me. There are 2 full rooms (open to use after/before class), showers, and hot yoga. There is a mix of HIIT and strength classes (mostly strength T, Thursday, Sat) and HIIT Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat. Pete is awesome, and it's a ton of fun without being repetitive. I still use my Orange Theory zones, and I blow my orange/red zones out of the water because it's easy to work hard when changing it up so much without the injuries.

This place is so much more than the challenging workouts (which are intense by design) -it's the community, relationships, outdoor focus, and charity that make this one-of-a-kind gym unique. 63 and been a member going on 6 years...a further testament to how special this place is. The vibe is so much better than the big box gyms and chains..

I have worked out at Manic for at least 6 years. It has made a tremendous impact on my life in many ways. From making new friends, building my muscles, seeing my overall fitness continuously improving to having a friendly place to workout. Training at Manic has helped me through a full Ironman, half Ironman, mountain bike and running races. The friendships that have developed are true and everlasting. It’s been amazing to find like-minded people and have some good laughs together. I give Manic a 5 star review because it has enhanced my life in so many positive ways!

I have always been someone who works out and have trained and quite a few difference gyms over the year and this is definitely my favorite! The workouts are so good! I love functional training to help you be strong and move well in your day to day life and activities instead of the meat head mentality if just lifting as heavy as you can and hurting yourself. The workouts are always different, never boring, they go fast. They incorporate both cardio and strength in a way that is fun. You are never just sitting on a cardio machine for forever or doing the same boring weight lifting over and over. The trainers are all great. Pete, the owner and trainer, has such a clear passion for fitness and is always walking around making sure you are doing the exercises correctly. He is fun but also professional! The community is great as well, everyone is encouraging and has a great attitude. Pete also works in fun events and competitions that enhance the community aspect. I love working out here and look forward to my workouts!

Best gym around! Great community, everyone is friendly and welcoming. The trainers are great. The workouts are tough, but you feel great afterward. What I love about this gym is that it is it focusing on making you a better athlete. The movements are functional, it's not like a regular gym that is just trying to get you fit. They actually do workouts geared toward enhancing your performance. That was one of the key things I was looking for in a gym. The trainers aren't just personal trainers, but athletes themselves, which is really nice. I have had a few injuries over the months and they have always helped me modify, while ensuring that I'm still working hard. Best gym around. It doesn't matter how fit you think you are. These workouts will challenge you every.single.time.

Manic is the gym for everyone. All skill levels and ages are welcomed and encouraged to do their best. When you first start a coach will walk you through all the moves and make sure you are doing things correctly. You always get the sense the coach and community cares and everything just feels fun! It isn't intimidating and has a great community feel.
I started in February 2020 right before the pandemic started. The Manic team pivoted on the fly and offered free online workouts to everyone. I could have easy quit right off the bat. I stuck with it because I felt like I was part of the community even though I had just started before the world changed. This is a great place to get to know people, improve your fitness and just have fun. Would recommend to anyone!

I've been going to this gym for almost 2 years now and i love it for 2 main reasons. the first is the owners and people there are all about community and getting to know one other. There are tons of social events that help those in need and some that are to just enjoy the outdoors and all the great activities Colorado has to offer. The 2nd is the variety of workouts. Each time you come to workout, you're getting something new and challenging. Those things combined make it easy and fun to be a member.

Such a great community!
I'm usually the least in shape person in the room and at a lot of gyms, I feel out of place. But not at Manic. The coaches inspire me to work harder and work smarter, including great modifications if I can't do the exercise. The clients are friendly and supportive. During COVID, Manic truly stepped up and kept our community connected by live-streaming workouts, offering gardening gatherings and happy hours by zoom. This is a special place.

I came here for some workouts while I visited my family in Colorado. I found Manic Fitness which seemed very similar to the gym I use at home.
First, they advertise a week free trial. If you are traveling this does NOT apply to you. You can only use this if there’s “potential for you to become a member”.
Second, I was charged $55 for 3 workouts. Expensive, but I thought the reviews were good enough to try it. I spoke with the owner over the phone regarding a muscle issue I have, Diastisis Recti. This requires workout modifications. The owner explained that this condition is more common than people think. They would happily accommodate me.
Third, after arriving and trying the first class it was okay. I burned a lot of calories! The coach did not seem fully aware of Diastisis Recti, and it was only when I explained what I couldn’t do did she seem to follow. I don’t expect everyone to know what it is, but I had other expectations as I was told the coaches were aware.
After not being able to go to any additional classes due to family illness and a blizzard, I followed all of their “cancel classes” policies the right way, and asked if they had a drop in fee. Surely, they would be able to refund me the difference in price.
Apparently this is not an option. They cannot refund me anything, and they’ll only extend my workouts that I’ve paid for for 1 year.
Bottom line, I paid $55 for 1 workout.
I think having all of the information for customers is important. There is no fine print saying the week free trial will not apply to anyone traveling, there is no fine print saying things are non refundable, and there is no flexibility.
Just be aware of this before signing up.
This is the most expensive fitness class I will ever take!
Lesson learned!
2 stars because the workout was decent. However, you can get a good workout at several other places that will provide flexibility, and are up front with payment and refund policies.

Hands down the best gym I've joined!
Workouts here are what I like to call true HIIT, constantly confusing muscles and training intensely with awesome people. Only been going for a little over a week and I am already seeing an improvement in my stamina & strength. I've done Orange Theory, F45, FIT36, etc. and none of those come close to this.
What I love more than the workouts here is the sense of community. Everyone is super humble but let me tell you, they're intense. Not vocally, but physically. Everyone shows up to work and get it. Super glad my wife convinced me to give this a try. Really looking forward to the friendships that will be forged and pain that will be endured. Shout to my 4am'ers!

I have been a manic member for 3 years now and joining this amazing gym was the best thing i have ever done. I was going through a lot and was very skeptical about starting a gym like this, but due to some recommendations from a close friend i decided to give it a try. The people and coaches i see at manic are like my family, i don't just work out with these wonderful people but we hang out, we go out, we do races, and have fun. We have holiday parties, go on hikes, and arrange races together. Manic has changed my life. When i came to manic i was unable to squat my body weight because my knees were so bad. I was unable to do a push up with correct form; I was unable to press or lift weight at all; and i was unable to do cardio without having an asthma attack...Now i can do push ups for days, bust out very hard on the cardio machines (with some occasional asthma attacks), I can single arm press over 40#, squat over 80# and box jump over 36 inches. Non of this could have happened without the help of the coaches and the members at Manic. Everybody is so nice and motivating you never leave feeling left out. I am at Manic almost everyday (except Sunday's) and i would never change it for the world. I love my manic family coaches and members all included!!!

When I first started at Manic I wasn’t sure if I was going to stick with it. So much going on. Next thing I know I’m there for a year now and can’t get enough of it. Each time I go to class it’s always different yet still challenges my body and mind. I love that! I’m tired and sleepy going to my beloved 5am class. A hour later walking out of class I feel energized and ready to tackle my day with strength and determination. Can’t think of a better way to improve my quality of life so I can be there for my family and friends.

Great workouts that are well coached with exercises that balance strength and stamina incorporated into functional movements. The start of each workout is a solid 10 mins or so of warm-up exercises... which sometimes feel like a workout in itself! This ensures you are well-prepared body and mind for the remainder of the workout. The workouts are always varied and challenging, but with flexibility to handle all levels of fitness and to provide alternative movements for those with injuries. Highly recommended.

I've been at Manic for over 3 years. I love it. The coaches are wonderful and make everyone feel comfortable. They're encouraging and push you to do your best. I have several injuries and they're great about helping me find replacement exercises for those that I can't do. The workouts are always different, both in format and the exercises, so you don't get bored. Some workouts focus more on strength and others focus more on cardio so that adds to the variety. The workouts are challenging for everyone, because there are ways to make each exercise a little easier or a little harder. Every level of athlete can participate in the same workout and leave sweaty and tired. But the best part of Manic is the people. So many nice and inviting, inclusive people work out here. And they encourage and challenge you to push yourself. I feel very fortunate that I found Manic Training. If you're looking for a gym, you should give it a try.

5 stars is a great gym. The excellent trainers and community at Manic deserve more, as they routinely go that extra mile (or two). Workouts at Manic are varied, challenging and fun! I remember one day our workout was over 1000 reps of 20 different exercises, including battle ropes while balancing one legged on an upside-down Bosu ball. Can't do one legged wobbly battle ropes? No problem, I couldn't either for a while -- each exercise has modifications for different ability levels. And the trainers are a lot of fun, serious about safety and form, but otherwise easy going and friendly. They've also done a fantastic job of creating a real community here, hosting tons of adventures and activities outside the gym. Running, biking, paddle-boarding, camping, ladies night, dudes n brews, Banff film festival, and one crazy night doing hill repeats in the rain wearing weighted rucksacks. Need a good workout buddy? How about a hundred of them, high fives and fist bumps free of charge.

I started at Manic short of a year ago and I couldn’t be more excited about this place. Of course anytime looking to try a new gym, it can be intimidating, not here. They pair you up with an ambassador for the entire first workout as soon as you walk in, leaving you feeling welcomed and cared for from the moment you enter. The biggest gains have not only come from how strong I feel since I started, but have also come from the community I have met. Pete and each of the coaches also know how to correctly do each lift and movement as well how to change the workout if you have injuries you need to work around. I continue to be impressed every month as the gym is clean, the community is built larger, and they offer more activities outside the gym to join. After all, we do train in so we can adventure out. Trust me, this is the spot you have been looking for.

I was so nervous before trying, but I live so close to this gym so I have always just seen it and have wanted to try. I just finished my first month and I can honestly say this is the BEST gym I have been to. One, the workouts are HARD. I am extremely overweight after my two pregnancies and was just sick and tired of always being sick and tired. I was nervous at the beginning because of how intense the workout looked, but Pete and Scott are probably the most kind, but yet challenging trainers I have had. I never feel bad if I am having a hard time with a certain exercise because they are always helping with it, as well as helping me push myself to go farther than what I think I can do. I am so happy I have found this gym! All the people who go here are so amazing as well. Everyone is kind and no matter what your fitness level is, they all want you to succeed. I am down 10 pounds in a month, and can breath much easier and do basic movements so much easier in my daily life now, as well as having so much more energy in my day. I am excited to see what I will be able to do by next year. Thanks Pete and Scott!
