Learn to safely build strength!
We have beginner level programs designed to start with the simplest movements and the lightest weights. Each child progresses at their own pace with constant supervision by trained and certified staff.
We also offer higher level programs as strength, skill and passion for strength training builds. Offering programs for elementary, middle school, and high school students from children to tweens to teens all the way up to our 18+ Adult Program!

I've been training with Carly at Mighty Movement since June and I'm getting so much stronger. I joined because I needed to build bone density and I feel so much better. Carly knows what I can do, gives good corrections for form and she knows when she can push me just a bit further - like today on an extra set of Barbell Sumo Squats at a new weight!

I will absolutely get out of bed to go to mighty movement!! Its a workout AND a gym that doesn't vibe like "a gym"! The owners and coaches are wonderful. They're always energetic and knowledgeable so they're able to help, correct, and modify if movements are not possible (due to injuries or lack of flexibility or strength, or whatever you need to effectively work hard). Non-competitive atmosphere, no pressure to perform-- highly recommend-- for anyone wanting to build strength and get in our stay in shape.

I thought it was amazing — Nick managed to take care of everyone in the class, including me, even though I was making mistakes constantly.
It was my first time there and also my first time lifting weights. On top of that, I have several health issues, so I was really nervous about starting to lift and putting stress on my body.
But he was incredibly attentive, and I felt very safe and confident about continuing to attend his classes.

My son and I have both been going to mighty Movements to workout two to three times a week since January. We absolutely love it! I love going to Mighty Movements, and specifically because Nick leads the classes very well. Each workout is well thought out to maximize our time, but Nick pays particularly close attention to everyone’s abilities and meets them where they are. I’ve always felt completely comfortable asking for help and knowing he will correct my posture where needed. As a result, over the past number of months, I’ve gained a significant amount of strentgh and have physically felt so much better. Nick is a non-nonsense coach where he gets straight to the point and moves the class forward, which is exactly what I appreciate in an early morning workout.

Nick is a fantastic coach! I really appreciate how he gives me feedback to improve my form, or lets me know when I've got it nailed. He encourages me to add more weight for a good challenge, and also tells me when too much weight is negatively impacting my form.
I've never had an injury working with Nick and I think it's because of his involvement, skills, and effective coaching approach.
He's also a nice person, which makes a real difference in setting the vibe for the class.

My (now 15yo) nephew comes to visit from out of state every summer and has attended the Speed & Strength Summer camp for the past 6 years. It’s been so fun to see his improvement over the years. He plays baseball and recently started wrestling and credits much of his athleticism and strength to his time with Mighty Movement. The coaches are amazing! They meet the kids where they are and do a wonderful job of making everyone feel like they belong. 10/10 recommend putting your kids in Mighty Movement programs!

We know how important movement is for our child’s physical and mental health, but we had been discouraged by how youth team sports were not the best fit for him. I came in completely green-- I had never lifted weights before, EVER. I'm an avid runner, but my metabolism is slowing down as I get older and I wanted to do something complete different.
I love it! It's not intimidating at all-- instructors there to lead you every step of the way, and classmates to watch, learn from too. There are plenty of women there so it doesn't feel too bro-y. People are lifting all sorts of weights and there is a niffy app to give you guidance on where to start based on your previous classes. I love being able to see on the app how I am getting stronger every week and able to tolerate more weight. There are tangible results each day. Plus, I actually am starting to feel like my core is strong, something I didn't have from running.
The hour flies by and is very easy to incorporate into my daily schedule. What an excellent find, I love this place!

My daughter loves Might Movement Academy! She started with the Learn to Lift class a little over a year ago. We suggested that she try it because she loves to feel strong, but is not into competitive or team sports. She is a little bit of an introvert and I was worried about the atmosphere of the gym. Coach Neil took time to answer all of my questions about the program. Because she was 12 years old, all of mom's ideas are terrible, but we insisted that she try the 6 week LTL. She was hooked from day one! She loves tracking the weight that she lifts. I love that she is getting safe instruction from someone that is not me and that she is lifting with her peers. There are plenty of girls in the classes as well as amazing female coaches. No toxic masculinity here! They have created a great environment.
Lifting has also benefitted her other activities such as running, swim and yoga.
Middle school is tough. Being able to weight lift outside of school has been absolutely pivotal for her self-confidence and worth every stinking penny! And the skills that she's learning will benefit her as she goes on to lift and do other sports in high school and beyond.

Mighty Movement has been such a great experience for my 11yo for several years. He has participated in school-year weightlifting (Little Lifters, Learn To Lift, and now Youth Weightlifting), and over the summer has participated in several weeks of the Speed and Strength week-long camps (with the sandbox park bike caravan). He loves going, which is the most important. They emphasize age-appropriate child independence from the start. I've seen Coach Neil active in the community, and attending a seminar about social/emotional health in children - this is another part of my overarching support for MM programming: they want healthy hearts and healthy bodies. Hooray for learning skills for lifelong physical fitness in an emotionally healthy environment! The staff and owner couldn't be better people to work with, and make it easy to sign up, reschedule (when sports leagues announce schedules after we've already signed up with MM), and being flexible with school performances, etc. I strongly and without reservation recommend Mighty Movement!

Both of my kids have attended Mighty Movement. It's been great for their self-esteem and for their fitness goals. And I love that they are incredibly flexible with their scheduling and will work with parents to make sure that kids can attend when it's most convenient.

This is such a great program! There are so many benefits to weight training, and it’s a shame that most gyms don’t allow minor kiddos to begin to learn. Mighty Movements is one of the only programs I know of teaching kiddos basic lifting technique. The kids loved the programming, loved their coaches, and certainly have become stronger and more confident in their bodies. We’re taking a break due to summer travel plans, but we’ll be back!

Gyms have never been my thing until I came here. The personal attention you receive is by far the best experience… not to mention the well designed/thought out programs. I wanted to get into lifting and was looking for a place to teach me some fundamentals. I’ve now been working out here for almost a year and really love it. Classes are fun and challenging, using an app that makes it easy to track progress over time. My daughter does the Little Lifters program and she loves it too. We both do evening classes so can work out at the same time, which is super convenient.

Movement Academy is such a welcoming place! One of my favorite gyms to go to when visiting LNK! The staff is incredibly kind and the facility/equipment is amazing. I was able to complete an entire weightlifting and cardio workout with no issues!

BRING YOUR KIDS HERE! Absolutely the best place to get them started with health and fitness. Neil and his staff do an excellent job of teaching the kids proper movement mechanics and safety. You won't find a gym that builds a better foundation for your child. As a coach/trainer myself, I recommend all kids getting into strength training START WITH MIGHTY MOVEMENT ACADEMY!
