Has everything a gym should have, but goes a bit far by posting signs in which they call their clients "adult slobs". Also not a fan of them cleaning the treadmill while I am using it...I don't appreciate cleanser being sprayed on my legs. The "girls" are nice enough.

This is the start of my third year at Momentum Fitness in Pagosa Springs. As a seasonal resident my membership gets put on/off hold twice a year. I'll start with the gym itself: it's clean, has a great variety of equipment and good space for floor work and is rarely crowded (maybe it is in winter!). The shower facilities are super convenient. The service though is top-notch. Ali, the manager, is super responsive, easy-going, and quick to fulfill requests (lost my card, want to rent a locker, ready to put my membership on hold, etc.) She is a huge asset to the gym and such a pleasure to work with. I haven't looked at any other gyms since I became a member in 2023. Totally satisfied!

Getting signed up for a temporary membership over the phone was very easy. The gym had everything I needed to do my regular weightlifting routine. If you're taking a trip to Pagosa Springs I highly recommend Momentum Fitness!

Momentum was the perfect gym for me and my boyfriend while we were in Pagosa Springs visiting family. It had everything that you needed lockers, bathroom and shower. Also allowed kids to be inside of the gym which is a huge plus and extremely hard to find the prices were amazing. We bought a $20 membership so we could use all week and we had access 24 seven even on Thanksgiving day!

If you're looking for a place to lift in town, this is it. Plenty of equipment and clean! The front desk girl was super welcoming and helpful. I overheard a guest telling her what a great job she was doing keeping the place clean, organized, and in good shape. Props to her - a great employee is a gem!

Was in the area and paid for a 1-week pass: incredibly easy to sign up over the phone and have instant 24/7 access. Plenty of free weights, racks, machines and cardio equipment which was unexpected but welcome to see. Great value for a very inexpensive price.

I joined this gym approximately a month ago and have been going five days a week. The equipment is always in good condition, clean, members wipe down equipment after use. Folks in the office are pleasant, always willing to help if I have a question about how to use a piece of equipment. The music is not too loud nor obnoxious. The bathrooms are clean and have everything I need even if I want to take a shower.

I was given a free one hour session with a trainer when I signed up. I have used this gentleman for my free session and liked Eric so much that I’ve hired him for !0 sessions to help me with my form. He is terrific.

I’m a 73 year old female; several pounds overweight; have had some serious health issues that have prevented me from working out. The folks at this gym do not push me; they give me free reign to do anything I want but are there to help.

Momentum has been a great gym. It is clean, spacious, and never overcrowded. It is airy, not stuffy like some gyms. It has a nice open floor plan and it flows well with no apparent bottlenecks, at least not usually!
They have a great variety of cardio equipment, weight machines, free weight/ lifting area, and more. The machines are all relatively new and seem to be well kept up. Occasionally the squat rack or bench gets a bit crowded, but the users are good about letting people work in.
The music is always good, they provide roku, sling, and Pluto tv on their TVs in the cardio area, they have a little area for kids to play in, and I am very excited they just added a yoga room with on demand yoga classes. I haven't tried any personal training or fitness classes, but I have heard great reviews from other members about the instructors and the content.
The staff, while only there occasionally, as they have other locations to tend to besides Pagosa, are friendly and helpful. The few times that I had a question, they were answered promptly and thoroughly, either in person or via phone call.
The locker rooms are small, but very clean! I appreciate that they are bright and clean, but not institutional in their appearance.
Overall, Momentum is a great gym. I have no complaints and definitely would recommend this gym to others ( except I don't often, because I dont want it to become overcrowded... 😉!)

There's a TV on the elliptical that has a note that says a remote for the TV has been destroyed. A replacement remote has been ordered. It's been like that since I joined in March.
It's a lil pricey, especially for no remote replacement.
What keeps me coming back is the people I've gotten to know there, and it's the only traditional gym in town unless you can get in at the home association gym.

My wife and I come here multiple times a year when we are in town, and we cannot say enough good things about them. Came into town on a snowboarding trip, still wanted to get a workout in. I called them up and they hooked it up with day passes. Loved the lay out of the gym. Had plenty of free weights, a squat rack, deadlift station, plenty of machines, a dance floor with enough room to jump rope, a heavy bag, all kinds of medicine balls and kettlebells. Everything you need for a amazing time at the gym. Thank you guys very much!

Momentum gym is top notch. I've traveled the country and visited countless gyms and this site is right up there with some of the best I've seen. It's conveniently open 24/7, the staff is friendly and helpful and the equipment is state of the art. The spacious layout allows for adequate room to get a great workout and the classes are fun and challenging. I certainly recommend this establishment and it's exactly what the town of Pagosa Springs has needed for a very long time!!!!!
