Great place to bring your children. The staff are wonderful and care for the children a great deal. We started with a program paid for by the government for our child, and now that he's aged out, we have stayed paying ourselves because he's made such great strides.

My daughter attends the Extraordinary Athletes Program and we have had an excellent experience. It took her a little bit to get adjusted, but the coaches were patient and helped her get comfortable participating in a class without a parent next to her. Now she participates in all aspects of the class. I can tell she is getting stronger and learning new skills! We are so glad this program exists!

We’ve had an amazing experience at Momentum Gymnastics! Our son Artemi looks forward to every class — the coaches are wonderful with the kids, patient, and full of positive energy. They make learning fun while helping each child build real skills and confidence.

The facility is clean, organized, and welcoming. You can tell the staff truly cares about every student’s progress. We’re so glad we found this place — highly recommend Momentum to any family looking for a great gymnastics program!

My daughter Delaney started at Momentum as soon as she could walk. She loved gymnastics so much that Momentum hosted several birthday parties for Delaney when she was younger. In the fall of 2022, she competed with Momentum, a proud and tiny Level 2.

Sadly, we relocated our family to Omaha, NE in December 2022, right as the Level 2 season ended in CO. She tried out at a new gym, and was advanced to Level 3, only to find out she would compete as a Level 3 in January. She had only weeks to acquire the new skills, and move into the comp season with her teammates, who were all repeat Level 3s. Thanks to the excellent foundation she built with Momentum, she was successful! Not only was she successful in her season, she was also invited to join the TOPs program.

Over the years, she has continued her journey as a gymnast. From that sassy 6 year old, she’s a thriving 10 year old at Omaha Gymnastics Academy. She will compete in January, a Level 6 Optional, and will also compete HOPES next year.

Coaches do so much for our kids. They build skill, and teach routines- yes. But Momentum did so much more for Delaney. Momentum gave her confidence in herself and her abilities, taught her how strong and unstoppable she is, made her believe in herself- not to take herself too seriously, and helped her find and develop a love for one of the most mentally and physically difficult sports out there!!

I don’t know what the future will bring for Delaney. But as she works on tackling her next big skills like giants, bhs bhs back layouts on a 4 inch beam, I can’t help but be so grateful for both, our Momentum Family, and her coaches, Phillip and Michael!

With much love, The Meier Family

My daughter recently started gymnastics at Momentum Athletic Center. We enrolled her online without visiting beforehand, and unfortunately, our experience so far has been disappointing.
On her first day, a staff member walked her inside to meet her coach, but no one showed us around or explained how things work. The second time, I opened the door and she walked in by herself since parents aren’t allowed past the entry area. I went upstairs to watch through the viewing windows and noticed she was wandering around looking for her coach — confused and unsure where to go. It took about 10 minutes before anyone helped her.
By the third class, they asked if she had been there before, which made me realize her coach didn’t remember her. We’ve never met her coach personally, and we haven’t received any feedback about her progress or how she’s adjusting. As parents, we have so many questions — like whether she should attend more than once per week to advance — but there hasn’t been any
communication.
Overall, I’m really disappointed. It feels like the focus is more on enrollment and payments than on welcoming new students or helping them feel comfortable. I truly hope things improve because gymnastics should be a positive and encouraging experience for kids, especially when they’re just starting out.

My 2 year old’s speech therapist recommended Extraordinary Athletes to help build his confidence in social settings. I’m pleased to say it certainly has. He introduces himself to other kids at playgrounds and I’ve noticed an overall increase in his vocabulary. I also appreciate that his coaches give me feedback after his classes which helps me monitor and track his progress in other areas, for example, one coach told me that my son is taking instruction well.

My son is always looking forward to going to his class and I love that for him.

Check your billing statement! Most parents have no clue what they are getting billed for.

My daughter was just recently pulled from this establishment due to the inconsistencies with billing. We have never had a correct automatic withdrawal charge. Trying to get it corrected is just a nightmare let alone getting a refund for a dance team she’s not even on. This is the sole reason we pulled my kid out.

Coach Allie is amazing.

Coach Jess and Coach Diamond were exceptional. Then things changed when we moved up from the rec center classes that they offer through Parker rec center to the actual Momentum Gym. The frequent changes in my daughter’s coach were disruptive. Eventually, we were assigned Coach Chloe, who showed a lack of empathy towards young children. I observed a situation where my child, frightened by a new trick, cried afterward. Unlike Coach Jess and Coach Diamond, who were compassionate and encouraging, Coach Chloe responded by telling and pointing for my crying child to "go sit in the corner and do whatever." Looking completely annoyed with her and dismissing her. When I addressed this with Coach Chloe, her dismissive and sarcastic response was, "it's something I'll work on," accompanied by an eye roll. Not only that, but she lied about what she had just said to my child when I watched with my own eyes what happened. I do not look like my child and she did not know I was her mother. She was taken aback when she realized who I was. Knowing what she did was not okay.
Throughout the class, it was evident that she was increasingly annoyed with my young child, culminating in her telling my child to sit in the corner when she did absolutely nothing wrong.
The owner, Kevin, made efforts to improve our experience, though he initially defended their intense training methods and that I needed my child to be put with a coach who is more compassionate. Not only that but he said I could have waited to address the situation after class even though my child was clearly crying in a corner of the gym alone with no one consoling her. They offered to prorate my rate and switch to a more empathetic coach, but the damage was already done. Despite my attempts over the past two weeks, my child has lost her enthusiasm for gymnastics. Begging me not to take her back there.

In my opinion, and as a dance instructor of young children, anyone training 5-year-olds must possess compassion and empathy for all children.
I feel compelled to write this review because my child went from being incredibly excited about gymnastics to never wanting to go back. They broke her spirit. I invested a lot of time selecting a gym that I believed would be suitable for my child, and I am deeply disappointed that my 5-year-old had to endure the frustration of an annoyed young teacher. As a teacher to young children, this is absolutely unacceptable.
I expect a response to my review from the gym, but there is nothing they can do to change what she has experienced. We are left with a bad taste and will not be recommending Momentum Athletic Center to anyone.

Update: never received a response to my review months later. It is very telling to the kind of place this is. Do not send your children here.

We have been going to momentum for about 4 years. We have been involved in the cheer all stars program for 3 seasons now and it has been great! It really has boosted my child’s confidence and she is even making friends. We pay for cheer, tumbling, and gymnastics lessons, but we are getting so much more than that. We are gaining life skills and once in a life time experiences that my child will never forget. Highly recommend this gym!

My son absolutely loves going to his class. Your staff is incredible and everyone is so nice. My son loves Coach Phillip! We have only been 2 times and each time has been so great for him. It is such a relief and makes me so happy that for at least 50 mins of his day he can just have fun and be himself, full of energy, without having his mom tell him no, be careful etc. and he is in a safe place.

I’ve had the pleasure of having my daughters at Momentum Gymnastics for the past year, and we absolutely love it! The staff is consistently friendly, professional, and truly dedicated to the growth and development of the athletes. My daughters have made tremendous progress in their skills and are continually challenged to reach new heights, thanks to the wonderful coaching team.

I’d like to give special recognition to Coach Michael, Coach Katrina (affectionately known as the “gym mom”), Coach Phillip, and Coach JaLynn. Each of them brings something unique to the table and has created such a positive and encouraging environment for my children. My daughters adore them and look forward to every practice.

Additionally, I want to commend the owner, Kevin, for the exceptional care he provides to the Momentum family. As someone who has had the opportunity to photograph several classes at the gym, I’ve witnessed firsthand how hands-on Kevin is with the kids. His deep knowledge and passion for gymnastics are evident in everything he does, and his genuine love for the sport and the athletes shines through.

We are truly grateful for the incredible experience our family has had at Momentum and look forward to many more years with this amazing team.

As much as we wanted to love this place the more we went the worse it got. They seem to get new coaches and rip them from the kids leaving them with a different coach every class. They remove dedicated coaches and bring in lazy inappropriate “adults” to be around our youth. For the Coach’s whom are there (higher rolls) I assume are out on the floor on the floor on phones, sitting down, eating and only paying attention to the athletes who have money. The amount of whispers from certain coaches and eye roll dirty looks are enough to make you feel like you’re back in HS. If a parent watching from a screen can see this imagine what our kids are seeing/learning.

I would spend your money elsewhere where the true meaning of the gym is the KIDS not their personal image and their profit. Unless you have been there from the beginning you are not very welcome after passing the front desk. We really wanted to like this place as there was stuff for both kids Cheer and Ninja, the ninja program has one coach who looks absolutely exhausted every class and the enthusiasm is weak.

Total bummer!

It’s ok. I feel like they don’t care about a lot of things. Like I’m disabled and need handicapped parking because they have no lots. Parents use the spots without passes to drop kids off and pick them up. Then I had to stop going and they advertise that you can watch kiddo through an app. But they never have it up. It’s been like 8 months and it’s maybe worked for 2 months out of that time but not really. My kid is super bummed I can never see her progress, I can’t park anywhere reasonable because of the location and then the seating for parents is sucky and hot. They never have working internet and all the parents work and use up the bandwidth and again the app lags for parents wanting to watch their kids. We have asked for it but they don’t care. Just like when parents kept using handicapped spots they didn’t care or actually do anything to stop it.

The feedback and requirements for moving up are also… lacking? My kid has asked when she’s going to the big gym every week and I don’t see any metrics or things to work on so she can achieve her goal. We love coach Hannah though, I’m always hearing about coach Hannah ;)

The Extraordinary Athlete Program for Toddlers is absolutely amazing! The staff is so professional in dealing with each child. The training they have received clearly shows. My son asks to go the the gym every day. After class he is so happy, excited, and proud of himself! The coach's have him accomplishing goals I was not sure he would ever be able to do. His mood is regulated for the whole day after class. I absolutely recommend this program!

My daughter has had the incredible opportunity to join the Extraordinary Athletes Pilot program this past month. I cannot say enough good things about this program. My daughter was newly diagnosed with Autism and engagement and communication has been her biggest obstacles. Since starting the program, she gets excited to go to gym and the coaches at Momentum have been AMAZING. They sign to my daughter and truly engage with her to the point she approaches them every week before class. The staff here has gone above and beyond to create a program where all kids are welcome and they adapt to each individual child's needs PLUS your child gets to participate in a real gymnastics program. Tuesdays are now her favorite day of the week. I will continue to recommend this program to every parent I know who has a kid who may face more obstacles than other kids. LOVE the Extraordinary Athletes program.

My 4 year old autistic daughter just participated in the Extraordinary Athletes Pilot Program at Momentum Athletic Center, in collaboration with Developmental Pathways. She was previously enrolled in a gymnastics camp at another local studio, but we were told after the first day that she was not welcome to finish the rest of the camp because she struggles with following multistep instructions and waiting for other classmates to finish on an apparatus before taking her turn. I am so proud that Momentum Athletics has created this inclusive program for kids of all ability levels. The personalized coaches were fantastic with the kids and each kid was allowed to be themselves in a supportive and enthusiastic atmosphere. At the end of the pilot program, my daughter had grown in her confidence and is so excited to continue in gymnastics. Thank you Momentum for allowing her to shine!

Momentum’s preschool gymnastics program is top notch. My nephew started class at 18 months and had Coach Gabriella who did an amazing job building relationships with every kid in the class. I appreciate the smaller class sizes and how clean & organized the dedicated preschool area is. The themed lesson plans with coordinating props make gymnastics feel fun and new each week for the kids. We’ve enjoyed Momentum’s preschool open gyms too as it was a chance to play in the “big kid” gym! The huge bouncy castle slide is a big hit.

My daughter has been attending Momentum’s preschool program through Developmental Pathways. Momentum and Developmental Pathways have worked together to help my child grow and thrive in ways that have enriched our lives immeasurably. The owner, coaches, and other families have been so welcoming and have created an atmosphere where my daughter is excited each week to get to her gymnastics class! She was afraid to leave my side in the first class, by the 2nd class she was able to attend without me, and by the 3rd class she was jumping on the trampoline with a huge smile and exclaimed, “I so happy!” In the 4th class she excitedly said, “I love gymnastics!” She has blossomed and reached milestones in such a short period of time with the help and support of the Momentum staff and community. We are so proud of her, and we are so grateful for the wonderful coaches, families, and owner of Momentum who have communicated with us along the way to ensure they are meeting my daughter’s needs and supporting our family. WOW! I am in disbelief!!!
I just went to Momentum Gymnastics in Parker to watch my happy little 6 year old granddaughter eagerly show me her skills.
After about 20 minutes I observed the coach down in my granddaughters face having a very stern conversation. Then I see my little granddaughters shoulders drop, her face turn to sadness.
After the class my granddaughter came out of class and said “My coach hates me! She said she is sick of seeing my face.”😢
Upon my daughter confronting the coach, No apologies were given to the child. The coach said my granddaughter was always trying to be first in line. WOW! What a shame that a child is reprimanded for being excited!
The owner did absolutely nothing to resolve this issue.
That’s child abuse! Shame on Momentum for not teaching their coaches how to communicate with young children!!!
Needless to say my two grandchildren will not be returning!!!

I cannot express enough how impressed I am with Momentum’s unwavering dedication to the well-being and safety of every child they serve.

Our experience with the owners has been top-notch! It was evident that their primary focus is on creating a safe and nurturing environment for all kids.

What truly sets Momentum Athletic Center apart is their attention to detail when it comes to the safety of the children. Every aspect of their programs, from the equipment used to the protocols in place, is designed with the utmost consideration for the well-being of each child.

But it's not just about safety - Momentum goes above and beyond to ensure the overall well-being of every child. Their staff members are trained to be attentive, supportive, and understanding, fostering an atmosphere of trust and comfort. They truly recognize and value the unique needs of each child, providing individualized care and support.

Don't have your kids birthday party here. For $240 my experience was ridiculous. I payed for the ninja agility party. There was nothing ninja about the party. The workers stood there and did nothing. They didn't engage or play with the kids at all. That is not what I paid for.I Paid for a structured party with a hostess. They ended up playing freeze tag only after i asked and came up with the idea for the game.

I emailed them and the only response I got was charging me 2 weeks after my party, that they were sorry and would talk to the staff, no discount and nothing they could do to have made it a better experience. There was no bounce house and nothing but excuses. They claim they emailed me to ask if i wanted a specific structured party, but then said oh well our email was having issues that week sorry you didn't get it. Absolutely ridiculous buisness practices. Don't advertise a birthday, charge me $240 and not even do what the party about me says.

I just would like to say how much I appreciated the communication and thoroughness of the staff at Momentum! My daughter was switching over from another local gym and we were worried that she would have to wait for quite some time due to the high demand of gymnastics classes after Covid. She was waitlisted for a couple of weeks but a spot came open on Wednesday nights with Coach Jill & the seem-less transition from our previous gym to this one has been wonderful. Their website and portal is user-friendly, their prices are reasonable, and their staff is super knowledgeable on all of the classes and levels that the kids should be at! They even have a live video feed that you can login on the app and see your kiddo working out! The front office gal Brenda made us feel completely welcome at our first class and she even gave my daughter a little tote bag! It’s nice to know that some businesses still pride themselves on great customer service. I’m also happy they are providing a wonderful atmosphere for our aspiring gymnast! She was all smiles tonight:) Thank you Momentum for making us feel so welcome! We are excited to be a part of this family!

Besides their amazing attention to details, skilled and professional coaches and staff, and excellence in sports performance, they are a family of caring dedicated individuals that see you and your kids as people and not just a dollar sign walking in their doors. They are building a community of athletes that value hard work and dedication, but also realize that it should be fun and positive. They understand the value of keeping their structure and programs innovative and fresh. On the very rare chance there is any issue, I have always been met with a caring and sincere response followed by options to help. I recommend this group of amazing people to everyone I know because they are truly the very best. Brenda is especially amazing and always incredibly helpful and an enormous asset to this community.

My daughter has been a part of Momentum's gymnastics program for three years now. She spent about a year and a half in rec classes and the other half on the Xcel Team. We have been very happy with her progress in gymnastics. Not only has she learned some great skills, she has more importantly grown as a person. Her confidence and happiness has grown tremendously. Momentum is not just teaching our girls how to do gymnastics but to become confident in themselves. It is teaching them teamwork and friendship as well. I am thankful that my daughter has had this opportunity as she will continue to grow here and will take all that she is learning with her forever.

Extremely impressed with this gym and how it’s run. Turnover can be frustrating but with any athletic job, it happens. I’ve seen first hand it handled badly, but this gym seems to be doing all the right steps to keep coaches and have students excel and be happy (which is all that truly matters). Keep doing what you’re doing!

Awesome gym!
As an old employee, I really do see what happens ‘behind the scenes’ and I can tell you.. this gym is genuinely a great place for any child.
The management and staff constantly has meetings on how to beat cater your child and what is right for each student. We had meetings that solely focused on technique and safety and about how to get children to the next level.
At other jobs, I really saw the way my bosses treated people behind closed doors, but here, it was very different. Everybody views and talks about students like they are all on the same level with I respected so much. A child that is in a beginner gymnastics class is just as important as a team gymnast and vice versa.
I loved hearing such positive things and learning even more than I did when starting, plus building relationships and mentoring students is the greatest.
We are truly hired to do our best and I respect this gym a lot, even as an old employee. I would definitely enroll my child here!

I am not one to complain about businesses online, but I felt compelled to caution anyone considering Momentum.
We have had an incredibly negative experience at Momentum, and will no longer be attending this gym. Momentum only cares about packing in as many kids as they can in order to make money than they do about the kids progress, safety, and enthusiasm for the sport. Our daughter has attended Momentum for about one year, after switching from another local gymnasium. Our concerns when we switched were poor communication, high turnover, and stunted progression. Had I known that it would be 100 times worse at Momentum, I would have stayed where we were. The coach turnover at Momentum was unbelievable. We understand that some turnover is natural and expected in this field, but our daughter has had at least 6 different coaches (within one year!) since we started; not to mention the revolving door of coaches that filled in while they were in the process of hiring each new coach. Additionally, there was NO communication regarding coaching changes, nothing! There was never a coach around long enough to get to know my daughter, or to accurately assess her skills. Not only did she not progress because of this, but I noticed some regression in skills she had previously mastered. My daughter who has always loved gymnastics started complaining and crying when it was time to go to practice.
Another grievance of ours was that our child has been in the Beginner level for quite some time, and they refused to move her to the next level due to ONE skill that she had not been able to demonstrate consistently. This skill was so important that they practiced it once every other week for about 15 minutes (really only 3-5 min since they spent more time waiting in line to practice). Due to this one skill, she was held back in beginner, even though she was better suited for intermediate, and therefore she regressed in other areas. This added to her growing frustration, and she became bored and stagnant as she was in the same class with kids who had never done gymnastics before.
This program is not designed to help kids improve; and they seem to have no interest on changing that so long as the money keeps coming in. This gym has grown too big at such a rapid rate that they cannot keep up with managing the kids they have; yet they continue to just keep packing more kids in. Not only is it hard to even move in the waiting area during times of turnover; often times there are so many people at the viewing windows that watching your child during practice is impossible. I regret staying with them for as long as we did. They talk a good game, and make a lot of promises; but they keep none of them, and from what I can tell, they do not plan to make the changes necessary to improve any time soon.

Response to owner: My biggest concern is that my children were not safe, emotionally or physically. Classes were NEVER canceled and random coaches frequently filled in. There were not broken bones; however, emotional scars are harder to heal. My children we enrolled under the last name Madril. You can reference unauthorized payment emails dated August 27,29,30 sent to owners and Brenda. You can also refer to cancellation email dated Thursday June 7th, no response from Mark-not sure if you are the same owner. There are also several additional documented calls and conversations. I was very clear about being unhappy and I was willing to fix the issues until it was clear management did not care.

As we have now enrolled our children in a new gym I am realizing how much damage Momentum inflicted upon my children. A bit of a background: I am a parent of 3 children that attended Momentum for about one year. At the beginning, it was a great experience. We had coaches who were knowledgable and took an interest in our children. Coach Bailey carefully taught my 4 year old son the fundamentals of gymnastics. Unfortunately as time progressed, there was a shocking and disturbing turnover of coaches who left Momentum. At first, there were plausible reasons; however, as more and more coaches left the system it became alarming. We felt that our children were regressing or becoming stagnant.

There were numerous times we were concerned for the safety of our children as they performed basic gymnastic routines. Our 8 year old daughter was not correctly supervised or spotted and her safety was in question. In addition, my daughters were becoming bored. I began timing the sessions and my daughters spent approximately 26 minutes walking or standing in line, during a 1 hour session. We started to notice this was the norm. Almost every week, there was a new coach and I watched my children's enthusiasm and interest in gymnastics decline. Coaches seemed to be bothered, seemingly disgruntled and indifferent to any of the children in their charge. Month after month, they were held back due to unclear standards and not given clear direction on improvement and I had to take home disappointed kids-next month will be better. After numerous talks with Brenda and the front office (no return calls from owners), we pulled our children.

Unfortunately, I have not and will not recommend this gymnasium to anyone.

Very disappointed with our experience at Momentum. Turnover was extremely high which set my child back from making any progress due to the trust and relationship building she was having to continuously do. Management handled my concerns and frustrations very poorly and unprofessionally. I received very bad customer service from a few employees there during the months leading up to our departure. My daughter began to feel frustrated with having a new coach every 1-3 months and also became frustrated with herself for not being able to master the competencies to advance. Her love and excitement for gymnastics faded with each change of coach she experienced. In my final conversation with one of the owners, he stated that he was sorry to hear about my concerns. I did feel heard and understood, unfortunately it was too late. The observable chaos during our two weekly sessions to fill staffing gaps, the merging of different age group classes halfway into the hour, the decreased coaching and supervision all mixed with my daughter’s frustrations and disappointment and the unprofessionalism and poor customer service I received made it enough. Sadly, the damage had been done. It’s been a few months since we left and my daughter has no desire to try out a different gymnastics school. She’s lost interest in the sport and I only hope that one day she will feel excited to give it another shot.

I moved my two daughters to Momentum from another gym in the area where they had less than positive experiences. I have to say that Momentum truly lives up to their advertising that this gym is all about community. We have had nothing but amazing experiences for my daughters who a part of their recreational program. The coaches are amazing and dedicated and truly care about a quality gymnastics experience for all the kids, not just the teams. The facility is clean and well cared for and there are three different viewing rooms, my favorite of which is one upstairs that includes toys, coloring, and a tv for my little ones. Best of all, this gym is to building up the community by donating 100% of proceeds of open gym night to a local family in need. This is a great facility run by great people!
