Very high quality gym. Consistently good setting, like all the other Movements. It can get very busy here but that’s typical for the area. Overall solid spot.

Great gym, prices arent too steep, and both the bouldering and toprope routes are consistently really fun and are changed pretty frequently (although some grades might be a little off sometimes). The staff is really friendly and Is a really inclusive gym in general. I cant say much for the lead climbing because I dont climb lead, but the general consensus from my friends who do is that they are really fun. Overall favorite gym ive been too.

Very disappointed in the Customer Service. I bought a punch pack to use as a new climber. I ended up having emergency surgery and wanted to see if I could possibly get them deferred or at least give them to someone else. When I went into the location, they directed me towards Customer Service. I sent two different emails to Customer Service with not even a response. I would like to think that my money would’ve gone towards Either helping me to learn at a date or date when I was healed or at least being able to give them to someone else to further their climbing experience. The people in house were very nice, but unable to help me and Customer Service gave me no response after two inquiries.

Took my intro to ropes class and had a really good lesson from Pat. The people working here seem really sincere and caring, as the instructor actually checked in on me after the class since I expressed my fear of heights to him. I tend to prefer bouldering (which this gym has a smaller area for), but after my recent class, I am starting to see the appeal to top roping now. I do like the weight lifting area to this gym quite a bit, as the layout is spacious, and there's an assisted pull up machine here which can be surprisingly hard to find in climbing gyms.

I realize that Movement is a national chain. Prices are not the cheapest among the climbing gyms here at Colorado, but Movement has several locations and each seem well maintained (+ seem to have an emphasis on top roping AND bouldering versus just one or the other). I do think this gym is worth checking out at least once: it is smaller, but the area is breathtaking. I visit often and have yet to get bored. :-)

Good gym, has lots to offer in terms of wall space and workout equipment. The caveat is that this only applies when you go during non-peak times because it can get very crowded very fast, which limits what's available. Staff is nice and helpful with regards to gear.

This place has seriously gone downhill since Movement took over. I was a member for years when this was Earth Treks, and canceled my membership during covid. Thought I'd try it again. Everything nice about the place is leftover from the former owners. From all appearances, Movement is sucking this place dry, and hasn't replaced or updated a single thing since it changed hands. Parking lot has no stripes and the asphalt is cracked everywhere, gym equipment is the same equipment from five years ago, routes don't get changed for weeks or months at a time, and the holds are so so dirty. It's hard to see the color of some holds under all the chalk and skin built up on them. No brushes anywhere, which is a simple staple at every gym I've been to for 20+ years. It's just grungy compared to how it used to be, inside and out. As another person has mentioned, it is also very politically charged inside for a gym. Patrons should not know what the owners' political ideologies are, let alone have it pushed on everyone there. But prices have increased, because clearly they need more money for all the maintenance they are doing. This is an insult to the people that come here and the community. Corporate climbing gyms are the death of the sport. All the lizard-people from California are here to patronize this crap though, so it's here to stay.

My family's been a member at this climbing gym for about 9 years. Over the last year or so they've replaced all the American flags and gay pride flags with transgender flags. One of my bouldering partners was transitioning and was having problems with his hormone therapy. Not only was the transgender community at the gym bullying him and this was supported by staff, one of the transgender employees was/is actively bullying him. A stranger I might add. He's a 20 year old kid and they're pushing him towards suicide. I should also add that as a doctor I assisted in nine separate incidents of broken limbs all of which were compound fractures. Notably on two occasions staff members with no medical experience attempted to push bones back into children's legs. On another occasion an exchange student from Asia broke her anklep and while she was losing circulation to her foot another staff member was distracting EMS lying to them telling them that she was refusing care. I had to step in and insist that she be transferred to the hospital as she was about to lose her foot. This is a dangerous place to climb. It is dangerous because of the lack of training both technical and ethical of the staff members and the design of the bouldering area. For a gym that goes out of its way to present itself as a transgender friendly and almost overly friendly environment, I have never seen such vitriol targeting transgender climbers. On my last interaction there I had to physically stand between my bouldering partner and one of the staff members. All photos and videos would be too graphic to show and violate privacy rights. I expected improvement with the movement acquisition, instead safety standards and ethical standards have plummeted. My family has discontinued our membership and have moved to The Spot.

My husband and I were in town from a ski trip and had time to kill, so we wanted to get some rock climbing in. It had been awhile since we both rock climbed so we figured there would be a little refresher… nope only a test and the guy wouldn’t even help us just told us to boulder and to come back for the class at 6pm. We were there at 1:30. Highly disappointed.

Love the walls. Routes changes often. Only downfall is it gets over crowded after 5pm making getting a good climb in difficult at times and parking impossible. Keep up the great work guys!!

Wish the teal membership was more obtainable or a part time job. Hate that I'll have to cancel for the outdoors very soon...

Thanks for the climbs guys!

I’ve been going to movement for years, but since the new ownership took over it’s really gone down the toilet. The cleaning schedule, weights area, classes, and overall experience has been basically ruined by the corporate ownerships thirst for profit. I slowly just wanted to be there less and less until I decided to freeze my membership for the season. They kept charging me full price for three months even though I called and emailed about it. After talking to the manager I was told the only way to get help was to leave a voicemail on some anonymous voicemailbox at corporate and someone would β€˜text me back.’ Then a guy who only gave me his first name at the head office told me no refunds even though they admitted they overcharged me. Really disappointing and sad!! There are a lot of other great gyms out there though. Never going back to Movement.

This is easily the better of the Movement Gyms in the Denver/Boulder area in my opinion. Not as big as Englewood, but I find the routes to be more fairly graded, whereas Englewood feels soft. They also have better crack options if jamming is your thing. The one downside to all of their gyms is the lack of autobelays. I understand the liability those bring to any gym, and the best risk mitigation is to not offer those at all. That said, everyone is pretty friendly and it probably isn't difficult to find someone to trade belays with using their trade a belay board or just making some friends while you're there. Staff are all very knowledgeable and friendly with a strong focus on safety. The electronic lockers are also super convenient! All around a great place to climb.

The folks that work here are nice enough, but the state of the locker rooms make it hard to justify the relentless yearly price hikes. The classes are very popular and fill fast, which leads me to believe that perhaps having different membership tiers that give you unlimited access to classes would be a way to lower membership prices for folks who just want to climb. It would also be nice if there more flexible membership options (e.g 6-month, weekly, etc.). When you’re traveling for half the month (or year), it’s hard to justify a full monthly membership. Unfortunately, the 7-day punch pass rates are incredibly overpriced ($175 as of 2024, almost double a monthly membership), probably because they want to steer you towards a membership, which includes a doc fee to start if you aren’t a member of the AAC. All of this is to say that Movement’s pricing and membership model is astoundingly rigid given the sport’s culture and clientele.

I’ve been a member here for 4+ years and climbing locally most of my life. And will be looking for a new home for my climbing. Slowly watching the gym corporatize and lose its soul has been disappointing. In every aspect of the business I no longer feel my absorbent $90+/month membership is worth its value. The setting quality continues to go down and no longer is there any level of community feel here.

Fantastic and huge gym! Lots of bouldering. We were entertained for hours. The front desk was helpful in maximizing guest passes. We had a fun time and were challenged! You will need to go with someone who knows how to belay and can tie a knot. Our previous experience was with automatic belays and/or had clips.

I've been going to this gym for 8+ years and it just gets more and more frustrating. It's now too crowded and chaotic to get a decent roped climbing session in the evenings. Portions of the bouldering area are often still closed at 4:30/5:00 when the kids climbing teams are using the bouldering area and the evening rush is starting (seems like poor planning). If you want to use the tension board to escape the madness downstairs, you're probably out of luck because they have been having issues with the board for at least 4 months since I've been aware of it. The fitness area doesn't have anywhere to put down mats for stretching/core work. The yoga classes are so crowded that you have to focus on not hitting the person next to you. Oh and the monthly cost is constantly increasing despite the deteriorating user experience.

We've been to more than 15 rock gyms all over the country and this is the best. The setting both in boulders and ropes is UNPARALLELED. Warm atmosphere, friendly & skilled staff, excellent group fitness classes, and great climbing routes!

I joined in November and have been avidly taking part in as many fitness classes and events they offer. I had an awesome intro to climbing class with Justin and having never climbed before I felt confident to climb after the class! I love the ski fit classes with Grace R! Hour long, lower body focused class that she always expertly guides you through with proper warm up and cool down so you feel confident to try new exercises.

Extra shout out to Grace R as I took her Weightlifting for Women sessions too. Great opportunity for instruction in a small group with other women to learn proper form in foundational barbell exercises while building confidence in a gym space. She is an awesome teacher and I highly recommend signing up for anything she teaches. She gives great cues and feedback while creating a judgement free, positive space.

All in all great gym environment and I love all the events they host! All of the staff are exceptional.

The gym itself is nice, but recently it has started to become painfully crowded. Good luck finding parking or getting on a wall when you finally do find parking. Water bottles strewn all throughout the bouldering area even though there's signs prohibiting it. For 100+ dollars a months, it's not even remotely worth the cost anymore.

The good thing here is the gym. They have pretty good routes and plenty of gym equipment for balancing the workout.

I am very displeased with the activation fee and cancellation structure for membership. There's a substantial activation fee when you start a membership. If you want to freeze, then you still have to pay a fee every month or else pay the entire activation fee again. Make sure you know what you are getting into before signing up for this gym!

The good: it's a nice gym with some nice features for the setters to work with (multiple arches in lead area, a topout boulder, some nice dihedrals and aretes).

The mediocre: it's not an old facility, but it feels dated, especially when compared to other climbing gyms nearby (Englewood, Baker, RiNo). Many of the holds are old and worn smooth; apparently they rarely purchase new ones.

The bad: where do I start? They raise prices every 6 months and have not made meaningful improvements to the gym in several years (sorry, but removing lounging space to add more fitness area doesn't count as an "improvement"). The gym is insanely crowded on weekday evenings, yet they have no intention of limiting the total number of active memberships. If you have so many members that it's not possible to safely climb during the evenings, then you should be limiting memberships. Also, Movement underpays its staff and has engaged in union busting (at a gym in Northern VA).

I’ve been a member since prior ownership with a Chris Warner. They Just increased their monthly fro m $97 up to $102/month. They have NOT made any meaningful improvements in this facility. Minimum maintenance sure - replacement gym mats and finally repaired two stank bathroom showers. The obvious things that we use most everyday are highly neglected. The water fountain for example. Oh then there’s the treadmills, bikes, stair master. Constantly in disrepair when they should have simply purchased NEW Equipment. For the amount of increases I’ve seen over the past few years if new ownership and CORPORATIZATION I expect better treatment. Here’s the water fountain we get to use.

Update: changed from 4 to 5 stars. The setting has improved a lot in the last couple months and is more in line with the grades at Englewood & Baker

Great gym. Been going here for only a couple of weeks since I'm new to the area, but overall I'm happy with it. The classes and workout equipment are great. I find the setting to be hard compared to other gyms I've climbed at but it's definitely pushing me to be a better climber.

I do think there could be more variety in the setting style and holds. I've been to probably a dozen gyms all over the country and this one has some of the least interesting/creative setting, but I still enjoy it.

I'm not a fan of the no autobelay thing. Sometimes I just wanna run to the gym, get a good pump in for 30 min, and leave. I'm not a boulderer and it's annoying having to find a partner each time.

Unlike other reviewers, I actually think the gym is appropriately priced for what it is. I just found out I can access all the other Movement gyms with my membership which is really awesome. Also, the access to all the workout equipment and unlimited fitness/yoga classes makes it 100% worth it for me.

Staff is always nice whenever I've interacted with them.

I rarely write reviews but I’ve I’ve had bad experiences here. The facility is nice, that’s about where it ends. To start, the staff there are condescending (and not even to just beginners, literally everyone). The price is ridiculous, even for students. I only got a membership because I had a gift card. My gift card was enough for the first month and initiation fee (another $50), and I was still forced to put a credit card on file. I tried to cancel after my first month, but my β€œrequest to cancel” wasn’t accepted until the next month, now I’m being charged again. Frustrating. Majority of people I know dislike movement. Everyone I know stopped going here, switching to the spot instead, and for good reason. I will likely do the same.

One of several Movement gyms in the Denver area, Movement Golden offers climbing and bouldering, a small gym area, and a small retail shop.

Of the multiple Movement gyms in the Denver metro, Golden offers some of the best lead climbing, with a giant arch and often several climbs that span horizontal roofs. The bouldering area is smaller than Englewood and RiNo, but has more routes than the Baker gym. There is a great cave section, which is often set with plenty of grades from V0-V8.

There's a nice big parking lot, lockers and showers, and a small selection of snacks and beverages.

Day passes as the time of this review were $27, with options for monthly or annual memberships as well.

Tough gym if you’re not a serious or professional climber. Been climbing on-and-off for a long time and I can barely do v2’s and v3’s here.

It seems there’s no difficulty curve. Once you get past v0 (intro) it ramps up significantly. Even v1’s can be a tough challenge at times. I even over heard someone saying they couldn’t climb a v1 because the holds were so slippery.

My other complaint is that the holds are filthy, which only adds to the difficulty of climbing here because you slip right off. They definitely need to invest in a good power wash system.

Staff is generally friendly and I like the teachers. I hope they can address these issues because I’ve taken friends to this gym and they echo these sentiments

Overall route setting is honestly awful! I know that might sound harsh, but there was not a single boulder or route with natural positioning / intuitive moves. Super embarrassing for an indoor gym to not have a single problem that spoke to me in any regard. Also, maybe re-set more than 2 routes and 5 boulders per month please....

Additionally:
Not a single hold looked like it was cleaned ever, not a single stick brush had bristles longer than a 20m edge!
When I asked the front desk if they had any new brushes, they laughed and told me that they hadn't ordered new brushes for years! So so embarrassing for a gym to be this un-prepared hahaha.
Not to mention every rope has the rope drag of a 200m multi-pitch route....
If I paid $95 per month for this gym I would cancel after the first session. Very upsetting I had to pay $27 for a day pass.
I have no membership anywhere so this is an un-biased point, but I'd recommend The Spot everyday of the week if I lived here in Colorado.

I would HIGHLY recommend the Beginner Rock Climbing Package here if you're interested in climbing and are unsure about getting a membership. For only $30 more than a month of membership you get to take 4 different introduction classes covering top rope, bouldering, and technique. You also get gym access and free rental gear for the full month! Our instructors Linda and Nate were super nice and welcoming and had teaching styles that made new concepts easy to grasp! The front staff are also very nice and welcoming, remembered us throughout the month and checked in with how our classes were going, and answered any questions we had! I ended up transitioning to a full membership and am excited to keep exploring everything this gym has to offer!

This gym has been known in the past to re-paint their holds in doors without adequate air flow and currently (June 1) more than half the gym will be closed for no less than a week. Time frame for closure is 7a-5p but don't bother. This review is being posted at 6:15 and the closed portion is still closed. We moved up-stairs for a less unreasonably-packed experience and were forced to leave that area at 6 because they had scheduled a class.

Avoid this gym at all costs unless you want to be excessively disappointed.

You know what really grinds my gears? Being asked to leave collateral with the front desk to use an exercise band. I get that people walk off with these things but it looks like a rogue fitness band costs $3.66 to $4.33. Movement can replace 263 a year with a single membership fee. Instead I’m made to feel like a thief to bother asking to use fitness equipment to warm up. I just miss the way earth treks used to be

Movement has fun climbing and lots of theoretical amenities, but my struggles with this gym have to do with the continuously raising costs while it feels like the gym is slowly getting worse. Equipment is often broken and takes weeks or months to fix. I'm writing this from one of the two functional treadmills, out of five. All the while the gym only gets more crowded, which should keep down costs, but instead my monthly membership has increased $10 per month over the course of the year I've been climbing here. If there was another option in the area for roped climbing without a half hour drive I'd be down to take it, but the 3 closest gyms to where I live are all Movement, and it really feels like they're trying to exert their monopoly power.

It's a shame there aren't more climbing gyms with top rope/lead options in the area. That's the only reason we keep our membership here. We moved here two years ago from Nashville and expected the gym here to be far more amazing. This is not the case in the least.

There are no auto-belay options, which is a bummer for days when you don't have a climbing partner (no, I don't want to find a new one every time) and don't want to boulder. The routes really aren't that interesting/exciting, and are rarely changed. The holds also seem like they’ve never been cleaned. Maybe I lucked out at my last gym, but they cleaned them enough for them not to get a bunch of junk on them all the time.

This place is amazing, love the people, love the gym. I've met some great people here, and everyone is super friendly :)

Update: Really upset with constant increases the gym has pushed onto it's members the last year. It would be one thing if the employees were getting paid more or if we got more benefits.. I haven't seen any of that. I want to keep my membership cause I love the gym but 15% increase over a year is absolutely insane.

It's a nice gym, perhaps even too "nice", too often you see the staff too politely allowing for...practices that would not have been allowed 20-years ago [a 'lead belay' tag DOES not mean you can stop learning and it SHOULD mean you know how to tie a basic figure-8 knot)...but alas, I digress.

Pros:
- it has ropes and walls that stay dry in the inclement weather
- it has nice enough equipment
- the staff is wonderfully nice
- great trainers (Nick was a rad addition, that guy has too many awesome climbs under his belt and is great with the kids)
- LOTS OF WEALTHY PRETTY PEOPLE EVERYWHERE

Cons:
- Don't really have too many 'Gita' style teachers, it's mostly been hand-stand style yoga, I'd love some yin, some jhana teaching and of course more strengthening
- Pricey for less fortunate folk looking to participate in a really expensive sport
- Very Very Soft Grades (I know, they have to make the 'climbers' think that they're bada$$es, but that can cause dangerous situations in the real world when those same "5.13" climbers think they can climb a real 5.13 outdoors and end up getting into trouble and potentially others) by thinking they can actually climb at a level they're not proficient at.
- Allowing TRers and "Takes" to take part in the grading of a climb...if you can run a climb clean (without taking), let those who can determine the grade because they know due to the first hand nature of leading the climb clean
- LOTS OF WEALTHY PRETTY PEOPLE EVERYWHERE

Also, $27 for a day pass is RIDICULOUS!!! When I saw that on the board I was blown away - I get that 'membership' drives financial security at the banks for growth, but this price does not allow for the less fortunate to enjoy this incredible sport...I think the new age of 'climbers' forgets that rock-climbing was driven by dirtbags and poor folk trying to find their place in this world [myself included in that rank] and not by wealthy gals/guys/theys with 100K followers on Instagram wearing tiny empowerment shorts.

Also, WHY CAN'T THEY BLEACH THE BLACK MOLD COVERING THE WATER FOUNTAINS THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING - THAT $27 DAY FEE SHOULD AFFORD THEM BLEACH AND A BRUSH!!!!

Impossibly crowded.

If you want to go you have to go at off hours but then the gym is so far out of the way that it’s a challenge to make that a reality.

Routes are great if you have the opportunity to climb them, golden clientele are pretty intense climbers and can come off as rude, not much to be done about that.

But they could do something about the speakers- feels like the Bouldering area is wired for one half of stereo and the top rope/lead section is the other half- songs that have stereo come off as jarring and disorienting, or at the very least disappointing.

Decent gym, too many people, audio challenges 3/5.

Movement Climbing is awesome and this is my favorite of their gym's in the Denver Metro area. Tons of great routes, great route setters keep things feeling fresh, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The employees at this gym are extremely pretentious. They look at first timers like they're laughing stock and treat them like children. Joe the supervisor is a massive douchenozzle both times I've spoke with him. John, the belay person today who did my test was also unlikeable and arrogant, treating me like a child and giving me pieces of advice on the belay that didn't make any sense, such as not keeping my hand on the rope while tensioned after someone falls, saying I could loosen the rope by holding onto it...im no physics professor but im fairly certain my one hand wouldn't be able to loosen the rope while under tension of a 140lb person, especially considering pulling down would RAISE the person rather than lower them. All around, unlikeable and pretentious employees at this gym. Go to the Englewood location instead.

Despite all of their virtue signaling around community building and acceptance, Movement’s drop in price makes this gym unapproachable for newbies. A $26 drop in rate for new guests is egregious.

I’ve been climbing for years now but because of life changes my wife and I had to cancel our memberships. I’d love to still be able to climb once in a while. I’d also love to bring friends and family to show them the joys of rock climbing. My wife and my sister dropped in recently. We spent nearly $80 to climb for 45 minutes. New climbers don’t have endurance for much more. What a rip off!?!

On weekends and early in the day during the week I would give this gym 4 stars. Good variety of boulders, excellent variety of lead climbing, descent setting. If you like to boulder any time after 4 during the week, not so great. It gets very crowded especially with young kids on the climbing team to the point where it feels like you are climbing in the middle of a day care. You are off driving to englewood for a bigger gym and less chance of landing on a kid.

Gym is decent enough. Gets overly crowded at about 4pm or overcast days. Routes are not terribly creative - some are better than others - and to be frank they are completely outclassed by other gyms out of state. This is disappointing but not the reason I give them one star.

The biggest issue at this gym is the lack of courtesy or customer service from the employees. I’ve had multiple interaction with staff that have made the hair stand up on the back of my neck with how they talk to me.

If you want to talk to members about improving form or an account issue, don’t approach in a condescending or authoritative manner. It’s simple to precede any interactions with β€œHey, do you mind if I share/discuss something with you?” instead of approaching members like they are a school child being reprimanded. It ruins the rest of my workout the I pay exorbitantly for and is completely unnecessary.

I pay too much money to be treated like trash by the employees. This has happened to me multiple times at this point and I’ll be cancelling my gym membership if it occurs again. Kindness, courtesy, and respect go a long way, especially in a customer facing role.

Plenty of climbing options, but seems to be the unwanted stepchild of the Movement portfolio. Half of the cardio equipment was/is broken for months. AC works for the front desk (nice for the employees), but the rest of the gym is sweltering. Route setting is nonsensically inconsistent. For $80/mo membership, you'd think they could maintain their facilities a bit better instead of continuing to pour money into marketing campaigns and their flagship in Englewood.

while the spaciousness and "vibe" of this place is nice. the variability and inconsistency of the route setting with any of the other movement gyms is terrible. consistently set for short people 5'5 and lower. these routes are awkward and don't have good flow. there are very few routes were you can just pull hard on small holds which brings me to my next point. these routes don't transfer well to outdoor routes at all which makes me sad. I love roof climbs and rarely find roof climbs here that translate even a little bit to outdoor routes.

We took the Intro to rock climbing class this past Saturday and our instructor (so sorry cant remember his name) was Great! he explained everything clearly and thoroughly, he was very easy to get along with and made the experience very comfortable, I have to admit I was nervous going in, not knowing what to fully expect and within a few minutes of him explaining how things would go and what was to come, I felt at ease.

I did a tour here last night and I think it’s worth calling out that there are NO auto belays here. This is not mentioned on the website.

I disagree with the reasoning that they want to encourage community, as somebody new to the area and not exactly the most confident socially it’s incredibly intimidating to be forced to find a partner if you want to climb. Surely if you want to encourage community you give solo climbers the option to at least get climbs in when no partner is available then they can eventually strike a rapport with the other climbers.

Really disappointed because this is the closest top rope gym to Arvada and it looked like a really great gym! so really I’m out of options unless I find a partner.

It’s understood that after a comp there will be a short period where just comp problems are up. A few days is acceptable, but this gym is in no hurry to make the bouldering area friendly for all climbers. Route setters today spent time resetting routes instead of making the bouldering area more accessible. I asked how long it would be before the bouldering was filled in and was told within the month. This is elitist bs to keep an entire bouldering area set with only comp climbs.

For context, 13 years ago my hardest outdoor flash was V9, I’ve developed areas in the states and abroad, worked at 6 different climbing gyms, and have been a route setter at all of them, but now days, after over a decade off due to injuries I try to keep it V4 and under but also see easy ones to warm up on. I’m not able or willing to climb at the level I used to and when I go to a gym I expect an effort to be made to set for all abilities. Not just for us getting back into it, but also for new climbers learning to enjoy the sport.

Seeing the setters on the lead wall resetting routes that would have been fine for while longer instead of filling in the bouldering area for all levels makes it clear that the gyms priority isn’t accessibility to all levels of climbers.

Movement Golden is an awesome climbing gym. Spacious, fun route setting, cleaner than many gyms, well lit, and a solid vibe. Everyone seemed friendly and chill.

I definitely feel like both beginners and experts can have a good time here. They had boulders set for a Mardi Gras completion, which was fun to play around on some comp style boulders. Top rope and lead walls were also solid.

First, I completely respect the fact Earth Treks is a private business, and I would have canceled my membership with the implementation of masks had that been my sticking point. My issue is not with masks, my issue is that I was harassed by Earth Treks staff Saturday evening.

My first interaction with Earth Treks staff was with Sierra. She aggressively approached during my set and refused to leave my side. It was evident she approached about my mask slipping below my nose. I offended her because I interrupted her lecturing me - I couldn’t hear her considering that my headphones were in as I was in the middle of a set. Upon completing my set, I corrected the placement of my mask, as I informed her I would. Her response was to glare at me from outside the door of the weight room, waiting for another opportunity to lecture me when my mask fell again. She left her β€œpost” when I noticed her and informed her that her actions were making me uncomfortable. Sierra was harassing me.

I’m not sure if it’s policy to do rounds but slightly after, Nick approached me. After the episode with Sierra, I admittedly was a bit short with Nick. John came up last and by this time, I had enough. I was just attempting to finish my workout and leave but Sierra approached again with John to say something. Again, my headphones were in so I couldn't hear but I told them I was going to cancel my gym membership upon finishing that last set.

The only time my mask was off my face for the nearly 1.5 hours I was in the gym is when I removed my mask to walk out of the weight room upon finishing my 4th conversation with Earth Treks staff in the less than 10 minutes since Sierra first approached.

I come to the gym in order to relax and get time to myself. Being harassed is not relaxing. Saturday night felt like a miniature Stanford Prison Experiment. If you want to be treated with dignity, stay away from this place.
