I thought I had already written a review here, but I guess not.

We went here for a birthday party a few months ago and had a great time. If your kids & all their guests are able to walk/climb/jump unassisted, this is an amazing place.

The missing star is for bad website information (possibly corporate's fault). The website says that the parties are "inclusive fun" that "caters to kids of all abilities." Both the hosts and I assumed that would mean that there would at least be one thing/activity for kids who use mobility devices to do, but there is not. We mostly sat and watched everyone else play until it was time for cupcakes.

I want to make it clear that we were treated wonderfully and had a great time. I don't feel like there was any deliberate intent to exclude my child in any way. I also wouldn't expect a facility like this to be accessible if it hadn't been phrased the way it was on the website. It would be a five-star experience if the website hadn't gotten our hopes up for something that wasn't reality. This review is mainly a heads-up for other parents whose kids have a disability and get invited to a party here-- be prepared for your child to be more cheerleader than participant.

Fantastic service! From the staff seeing us open our car door to help grab party supplies, to the easy check in process to get a wristband, and finishing with the engaging games/activities, Finn was absolutely great — friendly, professional, and especially wonderful with the kids. We absolutely love this place! I bring my 8 year old son here multiple times a week. Dylan at the front desk always greets us and knows my son well. My son gets so excited to see Dylan every time. It was ok inside. Definitely the kids had an ok time. Coaches were good enough. But damn these inspirational words on the wall were driving me crazy. The pronunciation guide for each one is wrong, some of them are wildly wrong, confusing my kids. You can literally look this up in the dictionary, how did this get screwed up so badly here?

The staff isn’t just young inexperienced kids, they’re trained adults. I feel like my child is safe on all equipment. The staff is extremely friendly, and fun for the kids.

My 7 year old son loves coming to Ninja Nation in Lafayette. They have such a welcoming atmosphere and they are always so positive and inclusive of my son. The employees want to be there and really care about the kids. Dylan at the front desk is kind, positive, and accommodating. Active fun for kids of many ages. Recommend taking some classes and/or camps in addition to open gym. Kids enjoy learning how to move through the space and equipment setups. We had an amazing experience today with my daughter having her Birthday party here. The staff made it so welcoming and easy! I was surprised at how smooth everything went!!!
If you'll have a party here ask for Annabella to be your host help. She was so awesome and the kids adored her. My daughter and her friends are still talking about how cool she is. All around this was the best place we held a party at ever. And they even let us use a push cart to load everything up at the end which helped alot could be a major selling point to people considering a party here. Definitely impressed. Thanks!!!

Revised, the following year after my positive 5 star review, and thousands of $$$ spent. This last year there was a bully there nearly every visit pushing smaller kids off high obstacles and yelling at the back of the gym masked by a loud air compressor and out of view. He formed a gang to pick on younger kids. The staff failed to deal with the issue once we brought it up to management on several occasions. They seemed to already be aware of the issue, but did not correct it. We changed gyms to solve the problem. I would avoid this gym, if you do go, pay attention, don't trust the staff to monitor the kids.

I am not one to hold grudges against businesses, but after yesterday's experience at Ninja Nation Lafayette, I will not give them my money again.

My three children asked for passes to NN Lafayette for Christmas in 2022. They each got several passes from both grandparents, which are stored electronically on the NN system, so no one ever had a physical copy of any related documents. We used them throughout 2023 without any problems.

Fast forward to Spring Break (March of 2024) when we wanted to use them... we were told we didn't have any left. I was surprised as I knew we used some, but not all of the punches. I was told by the manager (all of my interactions yesterday were with this man) that the punches expire after 1 year of purchase, and this was stated on the transaction receipt. I told him that I did not purchase them, they were gifted to my children by two different grandparents, and neither of them told me about this. He apologized that I wasn't told that and said there was nothing he could do.

I walked away to get my kids who went to play upstairs while I got this settled, but stopped and came back to ask who else I could speak to about this because it wasn't right. This is when he told me he was the manager and I could talk to him about my frustration, but there was nothing he could do. I then asked him to look up how many punches we had that lapsed. He found out we had NINE punches left. One hour of open gym time is $18. Doing the math, that is theft of $162 and time that my kids missed out on that was gifted to them. Nine punches and he (the manager!!) still "couldn't do anything."

That is when I told him we would never be back, to which he replied, "I hope you have a nice day." I got my kids and left.

This is the worst business model and customer service I've ever experienced. I've never been more disappointed in a business or store before. I can't believe this is acceptable practice!

How can you make it right, Ninja Nation? Give me access to my 9 punches until they're used up. They should NOT expire.

My advice to people looking for places to give your money to entertain children? Don't waste your time or money (or anyone else's money) at this gym.

Our experience of imagination during the mini heroes class on Saturday mornings has been wonderful. The coaches are young but very attentive to the kids. If I could share an area of improvement for them it would be to break the kids into 2 groups if there are 2 coaches so that kids aren't waiting in line as long for their turn.

Lots of obstacle options, it's fairly safe to fall anywhere, and having coaches walking the floor keeps *everything* challenging. Good fun - for my kids AND for me and my wife. Everyone can play - but an hour is a lot longer than you think, so take it easy that first time!

Ninja Nation is a way fun place that we brought our niece and nephew to for their birthday. Definitely highly recommended for kids and adults too! Your hands do get sore and beat up. Bring some hand chalk and some tape for your hands. Otherwise you will and will need band-aids and may end your day earlier than you want! The staff is excellent and friendly and fun. Good for b-day parties and such but not memberships or ongoing classes... Ninja Nation Lafayette went from Hero to Zero. We no longer recommend Ninja Nation and will likely stop our membership. It started going downhill before covid but after covid it seems leadership stopped caring and didn't try to get things back... classes have been greatly reduced, all the fun and challenging stuff is gone for both kids and adults. As founding members, Ninja Nation started out great but is now an empty shell of what it was at the start. The number of options, classes, and reasons to be members reduces every 6 months - class options for teens/adults literally do not exist. Leadership is nowhere to be seen or heard from... thus assume they do not to care as no one asks the members. This if the first survey I've seen in ages. The kids have not been 'challenged' for years as all point systems and such never got really implemented. And you charge extra for "club" even though we have a family plan that really only our one 8yr old can use while our 13yr old gets stuck with no classes to use. I hope the other facilities serve their area better.

"I liked everything except the bullying, and how they handled it" (my 6-year-old daughter's summary of the summer camp experience at Ninja Nation).
Despite speaking with the people in charge, despite other parents & kids having a similar experience, despite "NO bullying" being on the Arena Rules placard, very little was done about this during my kids' two weeks there. We also sent a follow-up email to the owner ... which apparently fell on deaf ears since we haven't heard back. We won't be returning to Ninja Nation.

This is our new favorite place. The staff is fantastic with kids. The facility is spotless and has every kind of obstacle you can imagine. AND an upstairs gym so you can get a work out while your kid is having fun being a ninja. 5+ stars!

I absolutely loved this place! They keep the facility clean and safe. I also thought the staff was exceptionally kind and fun. Not to mention the obstacles are a blast!! Ninja Nation brought out the inner kid in me and I enjoyed every second of it. I'll definitely be coming back and bringing friends with me!

We went tonight for Ninja Night. My 7 year old son loved competing. The instructors are high energy and enthusiastic and knowledgeable and helpful. We had only been a few times before covid hit, and we hadn't been back til today. They have solid protocols in place, and we felt very comfortable with the safety measures. My son had a blast.
