Very easy going and welcoming studio with a good variety of classes and diversity of teachers! Their new member month pass can't be beat and I appreciate that they make a sincere effort to be accessible and affordable so more folks have access to the benefits of yoga.

Amazing and welcoming studio in such a cute location. I've tried probably five different instructors and all of them have been so nice. I was impressed by how many classes are offered throughout the week to accommodate to different schedules and levels.

The Wise Woman class with Amy on Tuesdays is a highlight of my week! She’s an amazing and thoughtful instructor. Her class is everything you’d want out of a yoga class. I’m forever thankful that a dear friend insisted I join her.

such a great studio for yoga! i have always been a yogi but have kept my practice at home since covid until getting pregnant. i've been going to prenatal yoga for just less than 3 months and it's been amazing to say the least. Abrona and Jenni are super friendly and really take the extra step to make you feel welcome. i will definitely attend the baby and me and regular yoga flow classes postpartum too! they have a sliding scale for pricing as well to fit individual needs which is super helpful since other studios can cost a lot! i love that Om Ananda believes that yoga should be accessible to everyone πŸ™πŸ½

i just wanted to update my review! it's been over 2 years since i wrote this but i still feel the same! i love om and the teachers are incredible. i love power flow on tuesdays and saturday. rachel and kayla are amazing. the saturday power flow always leaves me feeling so good and refreshed. it's definitely challenging but that's why i enjoy it so much. i've done various flows throughout the week as well and you really can't go wrong with any of them. i have formed a great community by coming here as well. i will totally do their yoga training eventually when my life slows down! 🫢🏽

Om Ananda Yoga in Fort Collins is my home away from home. I’ve been an in-person student for the last 2.5 years. Prior to that, the instructors helped me enormously online during the Covid lockdown months. Among other trainings, all of which have been outstanding, I’ve taken the 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training. Now, I’m in the process of completing my 500 hours.
As soon as I started, I knew Om was my safe space. This is where I feel welcome, supported, and encouraged just as I am. All the instructors and teacher trainers truly walk their talk.
What I love the most is that they teach you about inclusion by being inclusive in their approach to teaching.
Thanks to that, I fell in love with yoga right away; more specifically, I feel in love with all its components: asana poses, breath work, philosophy, meditation, and community.
I’m delighted that Om Ananda teaches through the true roots of yoga by honoring its tradition, as it’s supposed to be done.
Thank you, Sarada, Shivaji, and the rest of the team. I’m 61 years old, and, rather than retiring, I have a new purpose in life: to strengthen my body & mind, to cultivate awareness via yoga and meditation, and to help others do the same.

I first came to Om Ananda in March 2016 to earn my 300 hour yoga teacher certificate. I was really nervous coming into the training without knowing anyone from the Om community. However, I was immediately made to feel welcome and included amongst all of the teachers in the training.

The trainings are high quality with knowledgeable instructors. The expectations are set high, which means you will learn A LOT! There is never any judgment or competitiveness amongst the teachers in training.

I have gotten to know many of the Om instructors and their teaching styles. I enjoy being taught by them as well as learning from them. The teachers here are the most kind-hearted, sincere, and authentic people I have ever met.

If you are looking for an inclusive community, or an excellent school, and a place to call home, then give Om Ananda a chance!

Om Ananda has supported me through so many life transitions. I came here for intensive Vinyasa Flow classes when I needed to de-stress in grad school, and when I needed Candlelight Yin to relax after work. I came here when I was pregnant for Prenatal Yoga and needed help strengthening my tired and expanding body, and I've come here since my baby was three months old to stretch and engage with other moms in Baby and Me Yoga. I recommend OA to everyone I meet, beginners and seasoned yogis alike. You won't regret connecting with this supportive and inspirational community staple.

I just love Om Ananda. The instructors are excellent, provide alternatives for different abilities or needs, and explain moves very well. And the ambiance of the studio space and the warmth of the instructors are so welcoming. If it weren't for Sarada's flow class, I would undoubtedly be living with more weakness, tightness, and, therefore, more pain!

Lovely studio right in the middle of town so there's plenty to do before and after class. Reasonably priced with a full schedule and variety of classes. They even do an outdoor park class on Thursdays. Instructors are funny, kind and knowledgeable. I do wish they would do adjustments and play music during class, but I get it. Everything is different since 2020.

Great boutique area as well.

Om Ananda Yoga has become my favorite urban space to learn how to be kind to myself and push myself mentally, physically, and spiritually. The teachers I've had classes with have been amazingly open and welcoming to allow me to be where I am while also giving me options to push myself more if I choose to. If you've been thinking of getting into or back into yoga, I 100% recommend their new student deals to give classes a try!

Om Ananda is a beautiful yoga studio in downtown Fort Collins. They offer a wide variety of classes, all of which are available online (if you like to roll out of bed and onto your mat like I do). Every teacher I have taken a class from has been TOP NOTCH, creative and extremely knowledgeable of their practice, happily modifying for me and my nasty sprained ankle. I haven’t been coming here for long, but I’ve taken classes at literally every other studio over my 30 years in town. Come here, you will love it!

What a wonderful yoga studio! I attended dozens of classes there and did a kids yoga teacher training there.

A few things I appreciate most about Om:
1. Yes, it's fitness, but the classes are based in a soulfulness (as yoga was meant to be).

2. I love that it's not in a strip mall! (Sorry/not sorry to strip malls). You can feel that bit of history in the space. It makes a difference in the practice.

3. Om is in such a great location that it pairs well with other activities. Start with a class in Old Town, then grab coffee across the street, meet a friend for a drink, or just a stroll.

Can't recommend Om enough.

I tried out Om Ananda Yoga at a friend's invitation. I'm so glad I did. It's not like other Yoga experiences I've had. Went there for a scheduled class at 7:15 yesterday was there on time and the doors were shut and locked but people were inside. No one was working the front desk and I wasn’t late. I was on time. Waste of time and money and gas getting down there. Had heard such great things about this studio but the lack of
Communication is a huge issue for me my time to get out of the house is limited as it is. I can’t risk showing up for classes and doors being locked and no one to talk to. Tried calling also and no one answered. I paid for 2 weeks but I dont think I’ll go back. The hours online also don’t match the hours given at the door adding to more confusion.

This is my favorite yoga studio in Fort Collins and the overall best yoga studio I have ever been to. I started going to Om Ananda Yoga last year, and I have enjoyed the hatha yoga for recovery, flexibility, and reflection. I can feel the sacred and welcoming energy of the space as soon as I walk in the door. The facilities are clean and keep a comforting neutral scent. Some of my favorite teachers in Fort Collins teach at Om Ananda. They are all amazing, but Sarah, Kayla, and Sarada have cultivated space for the best classes I've been to. I also really enjoy Tonya's evening flow and restorative classes. As a trainer, yoga is a part of my holistic wellness routine and when I'm up for a class, I find myself at Om Ananda every time. Their drop-in rates are more than reasonable, and they also have a sliding scale membership options. I also decided to enroll in their 200 HR YTT, and I am so glad I chose them for the course. I am learning so much and surrounded by wonderful yogis each time we meet to learn and grow.

I've been part of Om Ananda Yoga since 2013 as a student at classes and teacher trainings, as well as teaching the occasional class. I keep coming back because the yoga and meditation practices are real and authentic. The founders, Sarada and Shivaji Erickson, have made sharing their knowledge of yoga and building a community in Fort Collins their life's work. My life is better when I meditate and Om taught me how.

I love the welcoming, friendly vibe of the classes and teacher trainings. I always feel included, even if I can't touch my toes. The teacher trainings have supported and guided my journey as a yoga teacher with a solid knowledge of anatomy, an understanding of yogic philosophy, and lasting connections with open-hearted friends. At Om, I enhance my ability to help my yoga students and I deepen my connection to my inner self.

Om is a non-profit with sliding scale pricing - choose your payment level based on your circumstances. All classes are room temperature and there is a variety of styles and difficulty levels offered. The studio is on the second floor and the building does not have an elevator. There are restrooms and a water cooler, but no showers or locker rooms. Bring your own mat and props, or use their props and rent/borrow a mat.

The first rule when learning how to teach yoga is to make sure nobody hurts themselves. Sarada caused me to tear my shoulder after calling out in front of the whole class asking why I was not fully going in to a pose so out of embarrassment I pushed myself to do the pose. which I wasn't doing previous to her pointing it out in front of everyone because it was uncomfortable. I can't recommend om ananda.

I love this place because they have the best prenatal yoga teacher--JEAN PARKER-RENGA. Throughout my pregnancy, I had about 5 different prenatal yoga teachers and I always felt Jean is the best! She knows what pregnant mamas go though and kindly explains how to do each single pose "safely" for the mama and baby. You may not believe that I had prenatal yoga classes that taught me what pregnant women should not do (sit up straight from the floor) and/or cannot do (pull your knee to your check) :( Jean also listens to students at the beginning and during the class and regarding their particular difficulties with pregnancy and would tailor her poses accordingly. Most of all, just being around her caring and cheerful spirit made me happy! On, did I mention I felt great mentally and physically after taking her class?! I can't wait for my next pregnancy so that I can take her class again.

Om Ananda to me is a place of revival. It rejuvenates your spirit, uplifts your body, and frees your mind.
