I've been a member for 5 years and have unfortunately watched this clinic plummet. High coach turnover, treadmills that have not been working for over a year, the AC and music were down for several weeks. I've been to 5 classes in the past 6 months where the coach didn't show up and more where the coach was late. So disappointing as I've tried to stick it out with OTF Uptown!

I am traveling in Colorado and went at that OTF studio. The two trainers I had were great: Amir and Rhiannon. I had an issue with my app to register for a studio other than my "home" studio but they solved the issue very easily. So, thank you, I am very appreciative.

From check-in to the coach expect royal and phenomenal experience. Customer service is not only great but be ready to feel to be a part of the family. Cody is undoubtedly one of the most exceptional fitness coaches I've ever had the pleasure of working with. His unwavering dedication and passion for his craft are truly inspiring. He not only demonstrates exceptional expertise and focus but also displays genuine care and attention to every individual on the team. His philosophy centers around cultivating a championship mindset, emphasizing the pursuit of excellence both on and off the mat. Through his guidance, he instills the belief that true victory comes from embodying a holistic, successful lifestyle. Most significantly, his mentorship has empowered us to unlock our full potential and strive for greatness. Today, under Cody's tutelage, I felt as though I had been given a masterclass in elite coaching reminiscent of the Hollywood style.

I have been going to Orangetheory for over a decade. I love this company and have grown close to many coaches and other members over the years. I had an experience at the studio that made me so uncomfortable that I felt the need to leave the class. If you want to do crunches in between blocks, think twice.
Coach Cody will reprimand you like you are a child and will call you out in front of the entire class. He told me it was β€œhis studio” and it was his way or the highway. I felt bullied by his remarks and was flabbergasted at how I was treated. I will never be going back to this studio. Thankfully, this has been my only bad experience at Orangetheory.

I travel for work all over the country, which is why OTF is appealing to me. However, I’ve never been to a studio as amazing as Uptown (and I’m happy to call it my home studio now). I’ve never had a β€œbad” experience at any other studio, but none have come close to being quite as wonderful as Uptown. From the moment I first walked in the door, every staff member was friendly and welcoming. They made the workout less intimidating by encouraging me by name, gently giving feedback on form, and keeping the energy high and fun. The coaches and sales associates take the time to know my name and my life, and genuinely care about me. They take time to recognize my output well enough to know when I’m pushing harder than usual in a workout, and they cheer me on for it. They dance, they sing, they hoot and holler, they chit chat and they love on every studio member that walks in their door. This OTF location is the most worthy investment for me - not just in fitness, but in my mental health as a whole. I’d give this crew 10 stars if I could.

I have been attending OTF classes on and off for over five years and I still really love them. Get the right coach and they will push you to lift more, row harder, work harder to reach your goals. Even if all they do is lead class it’s nice to have a trainer help with form, modifications, and timing in each area. I enjoy being able to just show up and give it my best and let them create the routines for the sessions. I also like the options to swap out cycling or elliptical for treadmill time.

I’m visiting from out of state and really wanted to get a workout in. Got a little turned around (totally my own fault, this location is easy to find!) and arrived a couple minutes late. Mya was super kind and got me checked in quickly. The coach, Cassy, explained all the exercises well with clear demos and made sure we all understood the timing and intervals. I’m continually impressed by OTF workouts, and this location is no exception! Thank you for helping make my visit to Denver a good one!

I love these workouts. They are challenging and fun, and the vibe is very positive and supportive. I have to say I have been going to OTF for a year and just recently started going to Uptown due to a job change. I have been so impressed with the staff here. They know your name, they are friendly and the coaches are amazing (William has the best energy and I have appreciated him pushing me during my workouts). This studio is by far and away the best one I have been to in the Denver Metro area. I dont usually do reviews but I wanted the team to know they are doing an amazing job. Thanks for being here and helping us keep our sanity!

Orangetheory is a great semi-personal HIIT / circuit gym class. This location has great trainers and a nice floorplan (but only 1 strider and bike).

Positives: the trainers get to know you and will know when to push and when to just encourage. You never know which workout your getting (just the format) so you can't always avoid endurance day. 🀣

Negatives: This is not for you if you want "cheap." Some of the formats may not be your speed (I personally do not care for 3G) and sometimes that's all that's available. If you have to utilize the alternatives (strider or bicycle) the equipment can be spotty depending on location.

I've had such success getting stronger and more fit than with any other workout program. I love that OTF fosters a community and has partner workouts which force you to meet new people. The coaches are very motivating and the workout is always different. I love looking at the screen and understanding what my effort is getting me. I couldn't be happier with my decision to join OTF and the results I've had since I joined!

The coaches are great. It’s conveniently located near my work. The new app is better. But I wish that I could book workouts at other studios without having to call and have my user added. Still pretty disappointing as a national gym chain. Pam, CJ, and DeeDee are my favorite coaches, but everyone is phenomenal. I’ve never had a coach I didn’t like. The front desk employees always remember my name, and greet me with a smile. I look forward to coming to the uptown location.

Drama with my membership at the Uptown location. Also at this location I have witnessed young inexperienced staff speaking rudly about members loudly to other members. Makes me very uncomfortable. Horrible customer service. The staff is not accommodating to both members and one-time drop-in customers. Their cancellation/reschedule policy is ridiculous. I tried calling to cancel outside the required 8 hour window (which in and of itself is unreasonable) and they told me that I was calling inside the 8 hour window so I could not reschedule my class. I was sceptical at first, but I went along with the encouragement of a friend for a free trial session. It was intense yet controlled. I was hooked :)
Since then, I signed up for unlimited classes and attend at least 3 times per week. I love it, love the instructors and feel like I’m taking control of my health ❀️ I most definitely would not work as hard or for as long as I do with being in the studio. Being in a group session also takes the focus of just me 😊 but the coach is always there, gently correcting form or providing much needed encouragement. I highly recommend it.

I love that you don't stay at a station for too long, but long enough to work those muscle groups. I like that everyone is doing the same thing but they are working at their own pace. I like that nobody is super chatty and people aren't wandering around wondering what machine to use next. It's a hustle. I love the music, the coaches and the encouragement. I never feel like I have to beat the person next to me. I truly feel it's just all me against the clock. I love that I can push myself and in 60 minutes, I can rest. It's fun but challenging with a great variety from day to day to keep you engaged and interested. The music and and coaches keep you motivated and smiling for the whole workout.

I rarely write reviews and am hesitant to update this one because I don't want to create drama or confrontation from someone at the studio. Now that I have had the opportunity to go to another studio and have coaches from other studios teach, I find the coaches at Uptown do not take the personal interest that all the other coaches do with their clients. Not one single coach knows my name and I've been coming consistently for 3 months now. The coaches are not nearly as encouraging as ones I have experienced at other studios. Like I said, I am hesitant to update my review and am not looking for any confrontation from the studio, but I do want the coaches to be aware they are not putting in the effort to make their clients feel valued (with the exception of their "favorites"). Overall, it is still a wonderful studio full of kind and high energy coaches, it's always clean, and always reliable.

This was the 62nd Orangetheory Studio I visited. It's a really nice layout. Plenty is mirrors so you can make sure you're doing the exercises as instructed. If you're downtown, it's an easy walk or bike ride to arrive there. Orangetheory is great because you don't feel intimidated by any of the other participants. You only focus on yourself and improving a little more each time.

This is by far my least favorite Orange Theory. I've been to a half dozen since joining abut a year ago and this one has consistently been my least favorite. It's the closest one to my work so I keep trying to give it another shot but I just hate it. The front desk employees are consistently rude and the head coach I find unmotivating and judgmental. OTF is dynamic and matches the fitness level of the person engaging in the work out. The best way I can explain it is, when I started I could only walk during the treadmill portion of class. Walking at different inclines was enough to elevate my heart rate through all the zones. The last challenge I did (about a year later) I ran a 6:54 mile. Now when I'm on the treadmill, I have to run and run hard! The workouts adapt as you get in better shape, so no matter what your fitness level, you will get an appropriate challenge. I love it!

I expected OTF to be like a typical workout class--not a great workout overall, slow-paced as we wait for everyone to get up to speed, etc. BUT I absolutely LOVED this class. I was sold after the first class and decided to sign up! I was so sore the next day, so I'm glad I went with the 8 classes a month instead of the unlimited. The workout I had was pretty intense, but I love it! Highly recommend!

After cancelling, they continue to charge me each month. Each month I have to dispute it with my credit card. Be warned - it looks like I am going to have to take legal action to stop what I consider fraud.

OTF is an awesome workout and lots of fun. The uptown studio also has benefit of having Scott as regular coach who oversees this studio. His commitment and passion for health and fitness is inspiring.

I have been at Orangetheory Uptown since November and it is one of the best fitness experiences I've ever had. The coaches are always available and willing to help members with their personal goals. If you are looking for a real change in your fitness lifestyle OTF will help you make that happen!

I have been with Uptown OTF since August and I am pleased with every aspect of their services. The OTF staff is amazing!!! Walking in the door you'll always be greeted by your name and the front desk staff is always willing to help out in anyway (Matt especially). I would recommend OTF-Uptown to anyone who is wanting a challenge.

The Uptown OTF team is amazing!!! I've been going since July and I'm hooked. Walking in the door you'll always be greeted by your name and when I came in on my birthday they ALL knew and said "Happy Birthday" - that's seriously great service! Then the trainers will take you through an energetic class that's suitable for all fitness levels. It's up to you how hard you work and how you are feeling that day. They have fun contests to keep you engaged and they give back to a new philanthropic cause each month. Try Scott's classes - they are awesome & he's got a killer playlist that's always fresh! Disclosure: If you take an am class by that evening you'll be jonesing and plotting your class for the next day!!

*9/12/16 - I am editing my review after my auto-renewal experience. I still stand by the fact that this is a great gym, great workout, and great instructors. Their auto-renewal feature is terrible.

I checked my credit card account and had been charged for an auto-renewal ($99 for 8 visits in 1 month). I called to ask them to remove the charge, as I didn't agree or sign up for this and was still debating about which package I wanted to get the next month. A very kind OTF employee called me back to inform me that, when I signed initial paperwork, I agreed to a 30 day cancellation notice (that I clearly wasn't aware of). So there was no way to get my $99 back and now I will be forced to attend 8 sessions this month. Again, she was very kind about the whole thing and gave me "options" that weren't really options...as in, none of the options included removing this charge, or even stretching out the charge to the 4 classes a month package for 2 months and include what I'd already paid. No matter what I had to pay the $99.

She was very nice about it, but I felt scammed. After the 8 visits I'll be forced to go to this month, I probably won't be back. Learn from my mistake and make sure you read the fine print.

*Initial Review: 5 stars for the actual gym
I'm new to OTF - had my first class about a month ago. OTF Uptown is a newer studio and moved about 1 block from where we lived, so I definitely wanted to give it a try.

I've had a great experience here so far - I've been to a total of 6 or so classes and had a couple of different instructors. They've all been fantastic! I particularly like Jillian because of her awesome playlists :) I've got a few quirky injuries (shoulder, elbow, knee) and have to change things up sometimes, and they are very helpful with this. Also I just really like these workouts because they're all about YOU. It doesn't matter what anyone else is doing...I'm just watching the board trying to get as many splat points as possible and love watching my calorie burn go through the roof (I'm averaging about 500 calories a session). I got the $99 package - 8 classes in a month - and feel that price is pretty competitive for fitness classes in the area, if not on average a little cheaper. If you do the full on Unlimited package it's only $160 a month which is wicked cheap (though I don't know about doing this workout everyday! It's super intense).

Be warned - they can get very busy right before class and it can a little annoying getting all signed up, but all of the staff are still nice and very helpful. I've had no problems whatsoever once I got all signed up and got my OTF fitness band. Also their website for signing up for a class is great/easy. I would highly recommend this place.
