Pear St Fitness is such a gem! As a prenatal chiropractor, I’m always looking for group fitness options that are safe, well-coached, and fun, and this place delivers on all fronts. The workouts are challenging but approachable, and the coaches do a great job keeping things engaging and adaptable for every fitness level.I love the variety of class times (so easy to fit into a busy schedule!) and the community vibe that makes you actually look forward to your workouts. This is a great gym and community. Every instructor is knowledgeable, friendly, and makes sure that everyone is using correct form with helpful suggestions. I came in for my first class 18 months ago with very little experience with weights, and the instructors have been patient and have provided extra guidance as needed. I'm now on my 308th class! Great gym! I joined shortly after moving to Denver from sea level and their workouts helped me acclimate. The instructors are all very fun and have been great making accommodations as needed for injuries or ability. This gym is my happy place. I've been a member since 2021 when I wanted something super challenging but less corporate than OTF and WOW did I find it!
The coaches are awesome and every workout is different. I appreciate how form focused the coaches are. When I had an injury they all worked with me on modifications so that I could continue to work out and it made my rehab that much easier.
Try it once and you'll be back. As owner/coach Kerry says "it's the fountain of life".

This place will give you such a great workout! The coaches are all very knowledgeable and really put you to work with great workouts that will either compliment your individual routine well or help you get into a new routine. They help with modifications based on injuries as well as explain how the workouts are helping you. It’s been 8ish years that I’ve been working out at PSF. It is my favorite mental escape. They have fostered a supportive, non-judgemental community. I really enjoy PSF workouts because they include everything: proper warm up and cool down, mobility and strength, dumbbells and kettlebells, fun and work, small classes, and good jams. Due to the formats, the time in class always flies by. And like most workouts, everything can be scaled to get what you need out of it each day. I particularly like that there is an upper/lower split, which is hard to find in a group setting.

Pearl street is perfect if you’re looking for a group fitness class that’s not overcrowded. The classes don’t solely focus on cardio like many other group fitness classes I’ve been to. I was so intimidated walking in as I'm not used to lifting heavy weights and I'm recovering from a pretty serious injury but they could not have been nicer and more knowledgeable as to how to make me comfortable and still get a killer workout. And I mean KILLER workout. The classes are HARD but somehow I'm smiling the entire time. The teacher, the music, the other folks, I'm always surprised at the end with what I've accomplished and how fun class was. I moved to Denver from Chicago a year ago. I have been hard pressed to find a studio that could compete with Chicago fitness. Pearl Street is that place. I have bounced around on trials from gym to gym trying to find the right place. I look forward to going to Pearl Street, I haven’t been excited about the gym since living in Chicago. It’s a great feeling to have back. The classes are small, they are always challenging, and the instructors as well as the other members are extremely friendly. I highly recommend trying a class with Drew (moving soon…SAD!) or Corey. All of the instructors I have tried are awesome, but they are my faves!

This place is a shining diamond (or pearl!) in Denver's crowded fitness scene. The workouts manage to be both accommodating and consistently intense, which makes it a great location for both starting and continuing your fitness journey. I came in as a relative newbie and the instructors were super helpful in teaching correct form and plenty of other fitness best-practices without once coming across as dismissive or condescending.

If you've been looking for a next step in your fitness journey, then I definitely can't recommend this place enough. Word of warning: prepare to leave sore!

I've been exploring gym options in the area, and I keep end up coming back to Pearl Street Fitness as my go-to gym for HIIT and Strength Training! I've had classes with Cory, Drew, Jamie, and Ryan...and they are all great! They keep the space appropriately distanced, require masks, and make sure all equipment is cleaned between classes, which calms the health and safety voices in my brain. I have tried many gyms in the Denver area using class pass, however I fell in love with Pearl Street and made it my full time gym! There are no frills whatsoever as far as physical space, which is part of the vibe...just get in there and grind it out. The instructors really drive the value here, and they have a great crew across the board. No class routine is ever the same and all the trainers have a real sense for getting the class as a whole to work their tails off with a solid mix of encouragement and motivation. They also do really well at fostering a team mentality amongst participants. Focus is on lighter weights and body weight exercises with constant cardio...mixing it up with legs, core and upper body. PSF has great class hours, from 5:15 AM to 7:15PM. They never seem to fill up but always have just the right amount of people in them. I can go easily before work, or stop by after without having to shuffle events around. Parking (at least for the hours I go) is never a chore, and its conveniently right next to Whole Foods. Its definitely a gym built on people that want to be there, and want a good workout. I enjoy PSF, but classes vary a lot and it is impossible to know which one you're attending beforehand. Some classes are well-rounded (running, weights, squats, abs) and some are similar to Crossfit. The intensive Crossfit classes require perfect form, and can leave beginners super prone to injury!
