We help athletes who are tired of pain and sports injuries running their lives. We specialize in injured athletes, hypermobility, hEDS, prenatal/postnatal.

I did multiple classes with Allison and was very happy with the results and information I gained. She was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun to work with. I think having a coach who is passionate and knows the workouts is key. Each time I had a question, or even a concern, Allison walked me through a movement while explaining its functionality, the logic behind it, and the areas of my body/movement to focus on. Typically, she had done the same workout she was teaching before we got there which made her feedback even more succinct. I would highly recommend Pilates Native, especially if you value the "why" behind the movements!

I attended a pop-up pilates and tarot event. The class was intimate and Rubecca’s teaching style was easy to follow and do-able for all levels. The tarot reading was so much fun (my first ever experience)! It was really cool to work on your physical body and gain insight into the past/future through the tarot card reading. Highly recommend!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I had the absolute best experience at Pilates Native. Rubecca went above and beyond to create a pop-up yoga class that was incredibly personal and meaningful to me. She curated an entire playlist of Avett Brothers songs—my favorite band—and built a beautiful, intentional flow around it.

I've been doing Pilates with Becca and Laura once a week for 18 months. While I originally came to Pilates Native to work thorough an arthritis flare up, I now cannot imagine my wellness routine without it. I enjoy all the mountain sports and lift heavy to maintain strength so I can continue to ski, mountain bike, and hike as I age. I've been working with Rubecca for about 6 months doing Pilates and Stretch Therapy and I can say that my life has improved noticeably as my back and hip pain has gone away. I started Pilates and Stretch Therapy because of debilitating back pain after a long drive across the country. I just got back from a 4,000 mile road trip and barely felt any discomfort in my back or hips thanks to Rubecca and her practice.

Rubecca is great at explaining why your body does what it does and how to correct it through core, strength, and stretching. Her suggestions on how to stand and sit throughout the day have also been great. My desk job is less painful now.

Pilates has also been great cross training for ultra marathons. Rubecca's workouts present a great challenge to move my body in new ways, and she understands what fellow runners need in their training.

Finally, Rubecca is just great to work with. She is friendly, encouraging, and provides a safe atmosphere to work hard and grow.

Before working with Rubecca at Pilates Native, I took a 'regular' Pilates class. It seemed to work. Then, once I started at Pilates Native, I learned the difference between the two: While the class was categorized as 'exercise' and was 'general', my work with Rubecca was definitely premised on working with correcting my individual issues and addressing my specific and unique concerns. Rubecca has a great eye for the types of things I needed to concentrate on and I've learned a great deal about my body and have become more conscious of the posture and behaviors that aren't working for me, so much so that even I can tweak and correct what is needed. I’m not sure how many people Rubecca is taking for virtual one on ones but if you don’t live near Denver, CO I would recommend you reach out to her ASAP and get on her schedule for virtual classes!

After many years and many different styles and settings, I came across Pilates Native and can honestly say that it is one of the best. Rubecca is impressively knowledgeable, genuinely friendly and down to earth, and offers a soothing environment and trauma-informed approach to teaching. She empowered me to own my workouts and to discover the connection between physical and mental awareness. I am thrilled that I can with confidence apply what I have learned in becoming a Pilates Certified Instructor.

I met Rubecca in 2021 while studying for my Pilates mat certification, and asked, as a client, for her help to improve my posture, balance, and strength. I quickly learned that Rubecca is not only highly qualified and educated in traditional and contemporary Pilates, but she also offers a unique program specializing in injury prevention and recovery. The latter is about helping clients to become aware of how and why their bodies currently move, and how and why that movement can be done more effectively. I knew during my personal workout sessions with Rubecca that if I were ever going to pursue certification on the Pilates Reformer/Cadillac, I wanted her leading me on that journey.

In 2022, I signed up for the Pilates Instructor Training with Rubecca. I selected Pilates Native instead of other training programs because of Rubecca’s extensive knowledge, commitment to the principles of Pilates, instruction that goes beyond “cookie cutter” and memorization, and “hands-on” teaching experience that would prepare me to work with a variety of clients, especially the actively aging. I successfully completed her program with a sense of empowerment and confidence knowing that I have the ability to positively help, influence, and/or inspire others in their fitness and health goals. Learning with Rubecca, and coaching actual clients in injury prevention or recovery, has accelerated me forward by at least two years in my career as a Pilates Instructor. In a short 6 weeks, Rubecca has dramatically improved my lower back pain. I am back to lifting weights, skiing steep bumps, and riding my mountain back with either no pain or the tools and strategies I need to make adjustments. As a bodyworker, I am very motivated to keep myself in good shape. I have worked all my life with some body challenges which are hard to pin down, but have periodic flare-ups of migraines, neck, wrist, and shoulder pain especially.
Since I have been working with Rubecca, these flare ups have shrunk Dramatically in severity and frequency. And that's as I continue to do deep tissue bodywork, 6.5 months pregnant! I feel so good this pregnancy and it's all thanks to Rubecca.

As a 69-year-old recovering from open heart surgery last spring, I began working with Pilates Native to improve my balance, posture, range of motion, and upper body and core strength. I chose Rubecca's Pilates practice because of (a) her specialty in working with folks having gone through injury or trauma; and (b) the individualized format Pilates Native uses. I really like the individual attention given me in my program. Rubecca conducted an initial assessment to look at how my body is functioning today, and from the results developed a Pilates program to address my areas of need and/or desire for improvement.

In working with Pilates Native, I can see the improvement in areas I really needed to work on (but tended to take for granted) such as posture and balance, as well as core strength. I also appreciate Rubecca's emphasis on safety, taking care that what we do on the reformer and other apparatus does not lead to injury and subsequent down time.

I found Rubecca and Native Pilates when I was experiencing severe hip, knee, and ankle pain for over a year. My balance had been off for over 9 months. As a younger, active woman who works as an ER nurse, I was confused and desperate to find relief. I had tried anti-inflammatories, new shoes, physical therapy, massage, weight loss, and a personal trainer. By the time I found Rubecca, I couldn't walk without pain and 12-hour shifts were miserable.

Rubecca spent the first hour testing so many muscles and honed in immediately on my hip imbalances and weaknesses and began a program with me that helped strengthen all the small stabilizer muscles. I had homework to do at home that bridged me between visits. Six months later I no longer have any pain, feel stronger, and I went from not being able to balance on one foot for 3 seconds, to confidently balancing with my eyes closed. I can work my shifts comfortably and still hike the next day!

Rubecca never made me feel awkward or unfit and was gentle in her corrections of my form. She explained everything and has an excellent grasp of the human body, physics, and it's anatomy. She is kind, gentle, and affirming. I would recommend her to anyone who thinks Pilates is just for "skinny bendy stretchy" people and is afraid to try it because they think they are too big or not fit enough or it's too personal (she also provides trauma informed care). She is worth every penny of the investment!

I have tried doing group classes before and I could never get the hang out the movements, and felt too awkward to continue, so the 1x1 approach here is key for me to feel comfortable and to continue my sessions.

Rubecca's strech therapy was a unique experience. I have never done stretch before, but I had done pilates with her and really enjoyed it. She always approaches pilates as almost a physical therapy where we get in tune with what our bodies need from us rather than what we want from them. I feel like all of her work (pilates and strech therapy) is low pressure, fun, challenging in the right way, and highly restorative :) During the stretch session she opened my eyes to some of my muscles that had been struggling that I was ignoring the signs of. I wish the session could have been longer since my body really needed it!

At the beginning of the pandemic lockdown I started listening to Rubecca’s guided morning stretch sequence in my bed nearly everyday. I am always looking for simple ways I can take better care of my body and my well-being. I love starting my day with these stretches. I have listened to it so much that now I don’t need the recording anymore so I put on a song that feels nice and stretch. I went back to the chiropractor recently for the first time in a year and he said my hips were in pretty good shape which have been a regular problem in the past for me. I credit that to the daily stretching that Rubecca inspired me to start doing. I highly recommend her! 😊💚

I came across Pilates Native while searching for relief with my dull aching and stiff leg/glute muscles and decided to give the stretch session a try. I found Becca to be a competent and thorough stretch therapist and became interested in Pilates after she suggested it may also be beneficial in combating some knee and shoulder pain induced by weightlifting. Being a guy and unfamiliar with Pilates, I was initially hesitant to engage in it, but to my great surprise the Pilates sessions seemed to be extremely effective! I was skeptical at first but by session 3 or 4 my knee pain had almost completely vanished! I was surprised at the rapid improvement and grateful for having found this local gem. I would totally recommend to any dudes out there who were initially hesitant like me. Thanks Pilates Native!

I participated in a virtual stretch session around the beginning of the pandemic with Rubecca, and it was SO helpful. I didn't realize how much tension I was holding in my body, and even though we weren't in the same room together, I could feel her expertise through the guidance she provided. I've never done Pilates before and I was a little intimated. But Rubecca is so kind and has so much knowledge that she put me at ease. I did a combination of Pilates and stretching and it was a nice mix of strength training and relaxation. Rubecca also identified that my shoulder pain might be more than tightness, so I followed up with a doctor who confirmed it was a partial tear of my rotator cuff. I would definitely recommend this business for stretch and for Pilates!

I had never been to stretch therapy before and Rubecca was very knowledgeable and thorough explaining what she was doing for each stretch and why she was doing it and it feels so wonderful afterwards! It was such a relaxing experience and you feel all floppy at the end!! (in a good way!). I had a course of 6 sessions with Rubecca and it really helped my flexibility and I noticed improvements in the pilates and yoga classes I went to.
She also gave me some tips for stretches that I  could do at home so I could keep it up between sessions.

Rubecca is the most amazingly attentive, instructive, and intuitive person to help restore your body. After several years of HIIT workouts , being a mom to a very active little boy, and being on my feet for most of the day at work, my body was in need of some serious attention. In only 30 minutes, she managed to lead my body far away from a world of aches, pains, and barely being able to lie down. She opened my eyes to a wonderful world of total relaxation and feelings of overall wellness in each area. Her exercises were perfect for what my body needed.

I wish I lived closer so that I could make appointments with Rubecca on a weekly basis. She is a perfect balance of firm and gentle, and all body types will feel results immediately after working with her. She is extremely knowledgeable about how to correctly restore your body through Pilates and stretch therapy in order for you to feel your best.
