Although the Pilates helped tremendously with my back pain and she seemed to be a good teacher, she scheduled me for incorrect class times a handful of times. When I would be a no-show on her end (because she wrote me down for the wrong class), she would call and leave me a rude message. I knew that the mistake wasn’t on my end because I had the same day off work every week and that’s the day I would sign up for. She would write me down on another day in which I always work, so I know the error was on her end. I’m okay with mistakes, but don’t call and leave rude messages for your clients. Very unprofessional.

I am posting this seemingly out of place post to direct people's attention to Suzanne's ethics. They can make their own decisions regarding how to interact with her.

I replied to a new post from Suzanne for a ping pong table late last night in a community app, Next Door, immediately after it popped up.

This afternoon, I nailed down the details with her, and arranged for 3 friends to help pick it up. When I was on my way, and she responded, "I'm so sorry. Brian beat you to it."

This was after we had already established it was mine and I was coming. She flippantly wasted the time of four people by giving the table out from under me when we'd already agreed that I was on my way with a team. Reprehensible, inconsiderate, rude, and unethical.

Edit: I took a fire hose of insults and attorney threats last night because I'm sharing this information, and I found out this morning that she's been doing to this to others in the local community as well.

Your ethics are suspect, Suzanne.

I feel the instructor is very knowledgeable, but not a very patient one if you’re a beginner. There was so much silly talking and laughing going on in the class, it was very hard for me to focus on the movements as pretty much a beginner, which I really tried to do. I felt hurt when being called out in an abrasive way in class for not doing it right. Once again, I do think she is very knowledgeable and seems to be a nice person, so I think it’s just her teaching technique, but it’s not for me.

Suzanne has helped me learn so much about my body and how to move better. I have had hip pain for years and I know with her help I will resolve my issues with my hips. She has taught me so much in the last year and a half. So much more than any physical therapist has over the years. Thanks Suzanne!

Suzanne is an amazing woman and a great teacher. She is exceptionally knowledgeable in anatomy, Pilates and what works and what doesn't. It is incredible how she can spot how the body is working or not and how to correct the movement. She's fabulous with beginners and experienced students and has kept me learning for over 18 years. She also keeps my workouts interesting and a challenge no matter how my body is doing that day. Suzanne works with people who have had limb replacements or osteoarthritis, women who are pregnant, those of us who have chronic issues but want to keep moving and people who are natural athletes. She takes a therapeutic approach to Pilates which is what makes her a stand-out in the field and for which I am most thankful. The strength and flexibility my body has today is due to her instruction. Her commitment to give each client the best Pilates experience is why I recommend her class to everyone who wants to have a better body and stay as young as they can.

Anyone looking for a extraordinary pilates class should consider having a class with Suzanne. So kind, so well prepared, so enthusiastic and so caring about the special needs of each person....she is amazing! Since I started taking my pilates classes with her my lower back pain was gone, I have a stronger core and I am looking forward to the next level.

I am a 50ish woman who used to have an extremely active life until osteoarthritis in both of my knees started to slow me down. It became difficult for me to do things most people never think about, walking, going to the grocery store, standing in line for any period of time. Stairs were a big issue. It was suggested that I have knee
replacement surgery. I have an inherited blood clotting disease that resulted in three deep vein clots that makes surgery a huge risk. I needed to feel strong and active again. I decided to try Pilates and looked for someone who would work with my limitations. I have been going to Suzanne for about 6 months and feel like my life is coming back. She is patient and extremely knowledgeable. The other day I was going down the stairs in my house (I have four floors in my house) and I suddenly realized that I was going down them as if it was 15 years ago. I am getting stronger and will never quit going to Suzanne. It's the best decision I have ever made. Classes are small and everyone is so much fun!
