Ya know, I was at lifetime before here and honestly made the switch not expecting much as I didn't think lifetime was worth the $230 a month. Lifetime has more weight and cardio machines and I actually use the tanning and massage beds. They do a great job keeping it spotless clean. For sure a pleasant surprise for a fraction of the cost

So I work all over Denver, Castle Rock, and the surrounding areas in Traffic Control, so I got the black membership so I can use whichever one is closest. That being said, so far, I've hit over half the gyms in Denver and Castle Rock, E. Colfax is hands down the best of the best. Vanessa (manager) and her crew are all Rockstars. Great facilities, clean locker rooms, and the showers are superb. But the crown is their Deep Tissue massage chairs. I didn't think I could ever work out the knots in my shoulders and definitely not from a chair. I drive out of my way to come to this Gym. I wish there was still at least one that was still 24 hours on this side of town.

I’m a truck driver so parking is the first concern. I’m not sure on the parking lot but there is street parking and I wasn’t bothered. Cold water fountain and hot showers. Everything was up to par and actually nice and spread out compared to other locations. I will be back if I’m in the area again

I was double charged when I tried to pay in person. When I tried to dispute it the next day they would not remove the “late fee”. I was not taken seriously & they said they were going to send my bill off to collections. Management laughed in my face & would not look up the proof that I paid in person on security camera footage & said she was not going to because she had 20 minutes left on her shift. I’ve only been a member for a month & I’m canceling it. A very lackluster experience & quite frankly disappointed that I wasn’t taken seriously. I will be filing discrimination. I requested my account to be cancelled in person & it still has not been resolved.

Clean gym and friendly staff. Too crowded, people just sit on machines for 20/30 minutes or there’s groups that tie them up. Free weights are next to impossible to get. And this is at 4pm. I mean, wow. Time for another location or gym for me it’s too annoying to not get a simple bench press machine for the 60 minutes i am there. Cardio machines are always open and available.

Careful when you shower here because the employee might splash some pressure washer water and apparently they do not use anything else but water to clean this place, (the water that splashed gave the skin a itchy reaction) , after pointing this out they would not stop, and continued cleaning. No apologies at the moment of the incident not one SORRY, after showering we asked if that pressure washer can be used so close to a customer showering and apparently that is never a problem that they clean anyway so be careful they will continue doing this. I have a video of them doing this but I will not publish it hoping they change their attitude. So rude! Be better.

I have been to multiple Planet fitness locations overall, not just in Colorado. This location is my favorite and best ranked.

Showers 10/10 they have the nicest and the cleanest. The showers are tile based with glass doors. Not to worry, there's always hot water.

Location size 10/10 it doesn't look spacious from the outside, but trust me. It's one of the bigger locations. Lots of equipment, multiple machines.

Staff 10/10 they are friendly and make you feel welcomed.

You won't regret making this location you're new home. I promise you won't be disappointed.

I workout at this location occasionally but the staff is rarely attentive and the massage beds are frequently broken. I went tonight just to lay in the massage bed for 10 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes before they close and the desk attendant tried to get me to leave because they were closing. I told him I only wanted to lay in a massage bed for a 10 minute session. He reluctantly said he would turn one on. I waited in the bed for 3 minutes and it didn't come on. I found him at the far end of the gym and told him it didn't come on and he told me 'oh, I thought I had turned ir on but were closing so you'll have to come back tomorrow.' That kid should not be working on his own as he was a terrible representative for the gym. I doubt I'll use this location again.

I love this gym! Not only is this gym squeaky clean, but the staff is so polite, so welcoming, and very competent! As a new member, I sincerely appreciate the staff encouraging me to try out the amenities and different exercise sections. I appreciate how clean and stocked the ladies room is. It's easy to feel comfortable here so I want to spend more time at the gym.
I've paid a higher membership at another gym and cannot compare how much better this gym is. The facility itself is well maintained and the atmosphere is calm. This is a good gym. Kudos!

I'd give this club a 4.5 in stars if Google would let me (nudge, nudge, Google) because the team is fantastic and the whole space is super clean. I love that they have premeasured paper towels that are the perfect length to fold in half so you can spray, wipe, and throw away. It alleviates a lot of waste and speeds things up at cleaning locations. More PF's should adopt this.

I do wish they had a little more variety for leg workouts, specifically the Hamstring Laydown Curl machine, plus another SMITH machine and leg press. There are a lot of machines for upper body workouts but considerably less for lower body (can't skip the leggies my peeps!)

Overall though, for the size of the space they have, it's great. I love the morning team being a part of my starting the day routine. :)

Planet fitness is awesome! They don't have a pool or classes. But, for the price, you get everything you need and don't break the budget. I've been going for many years now and am always met by a friendly, helpful staff. And enjoy working out in a stress free, judgement free zone.

I have the Black Membership. Which is worth it. I can bring a friend. And use the Hydromassage Beds, Hydromassage Loungers and Massage Chairs frequently. They have plenty of machines, free waits and other equipment and items to help you reach your fitness goals.

This happened several months ago but I didn’t want to post until I was able to move and didn’t “need” this planet fitness location anymore. They made a mistake and charged me twice for one month’s fees. They charged my card and then the ACH payment went through a couple days later. I went to the gym and told them what happened and spoke to the woman who manages the place. She kept explaining to me WHY it happened as though that excused the issue and said she would credit the overcharge to my account to take care of next month’s fees. I explained REPEATEDLY to her that I needed the money that they mistakenly took out returned to my account because that was all I had for groceries the rest of the week, and it’s MY money anyways. She got an attitude and pretended like she couldn’t refund the money and treated me like I was the one being unreasonable. Very disrespectful. I did cop an attitude only after she made it abundantly clear she wasn’t going to make things right. There is no way in hell she couldn’t refund it. I’m not dumb. So I had to borrow money from a friend to get by until next payday. They messed up and she refused to fix it. Thanks for screwing me over.

I have been several planet fitnesses. This one ranks in the top.

My only personal observstions were the majority of the paper towel dispensers had stripped gears. This is common at PF. The staff did accommodate by having rolls sitting out.

Also, all the TVs had a purple overlay on them have never seen this before so I don’t know what’s up. But it was annoying.

I didn’t have to use the showers here but I did take a look and they were clean and well kept. The entire facility was clean.

I have been coming here since the opening of this location. It is by far the best planet fitness in the area, in my opinion. The staff has changed over the years but in better ways. They are always welcoming of everyone since the beginning of opening this gym and even when it’s super full if you know what you are doing you are able to find a machine or weights to do your workout. I come between 4-8pm depending on my schedule and never had issues with the parking lot or the location being stupid busy like other gyms I go to. I have never had homeless people bother me, so not sure what that is about, after all it's right on colfax lol but never had an issue
I constantly see people cleaning the place and the machines and the restroom. I think they do work their best at this location in particular.

I love going here. I've been a Black Card member for a few years now, with massage beds and other amenities as some of the perks. This location is big, so on days that aren't typically busy you'll find plenty of space to do your routine, plus a wide selection of machines to help along the path. I’ve never been so disgusted with a business or have I lost respect for one so quickly. I filed a complaint mainly about the franchise that owns this gym. I got a call from the manager but was unable to return the call next time I came in found out the day I complained they decided to cancel my account without me asking them to. Don’t complain or you’ll loose your membership. I will also be putting this on all social media and any other review sites this is the most pathetic response to a complaint. It’s bad enough we don’t get half of what they offer. If I could give less than one star I would.

I really enjoy coming to this location, the staff is always nice, constantly cleaning, and well stocked. It rarely get busy between 2pm-5pm. The only thing I dislike is the parking lot, sometimes their are homeless walking around and they trash the lot but i try to avoid them... other than that everything is good! The gym itself is ok. I believe they have recently made a change to management and some of its staff, which imo is a good start, but still have a ways to go. The tvs are old, outdated, and not set up for the hearing impaired, so if you are deaf you can stare at a screen with no subtitles as you try and grind out cardio which makes it pretty rough. Some of the treadmills are imbalanced, and the belts slip. I've seen torn equipment that takes months to repair. People constantly park in the handicap spaces that shouldn't be including the spaces where the ramps are supposed to go from the handicap accessible vehicles. Also, you must have a good amount of self-awareness just walking to and from the parking lot as you will more than likely be approached by someone on drugs or people asking you for money. This gym has a lot of potential, but not in this state of disarray. However, with that being said, I do like the current staff 2/29/24 and appreciate seeing them walking around cleaning.

On 2/19/24, I wanted to upgrade my Planet Fitness membership from Classic to Black. Initially, they said I had to pay $24.99 on 2/17/2024, but during the process, I discovered I also had to pay $24.99 that day and on 2/17/24. When I refused to pay $24.99, another staff member rudely canceled my Classic membership and refused to refund my $10 payment which I paid day before. Planet Fitness seems dishonest, with a messy place and unhelpful staff. I won't go back there; it feels like they're just trying to scam money. They deserve 0 rating for their bad behavior.
