Unless you like ice cold showers and pretty much everything I've been reading in the negative comments, I would NOT join this gym. The general manager is very cheap. Water cost on the HIGHEST rate of .007 cents per gallon usage. The average person uses 17 gallon of water per shower, WHEN TAKING A FULL SHOWER HEAD TO TOE. That's only .12 cents of cost per shower To heat 17 gallons of water through a instant hot water heater only costs .15 to .20 cents. So that's around .37 cents per hot shower. This gym DOES NOT accommodate for its customers. Have you heard the saying "not to give with a cold hand"? This gym gives its welcome to its customers with a cold shower. Most people just choose to take a quick rinse off. And that's even IF maybe they choose to take a shower. A quick rinse off on average is a usage of only 2 to 6 gallons of water. So that's only around .10 cents per HOT shower. Cheap, CHeap, CHEap, CHEAp, CHEAP! The general manager is VERY CHEAP!!!!!! Take my advice and DO NOT sign up at this gym. It can be hard enough going to the RIGHT gym. It makes it even harder going to the WRONG gym.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. My sister and I are deciding which gym (3 we are choosing from) we will purchase a membership through so today we started out here at this Planet Fitness location. The First gentleman at the front desk was very nice and helpful so thank you for him. ON THE OTHER HAND…Jennifer is extremely rude and unprofessional. She knocked on the tanning door after only 8 minutes of a 9 minute session asking my sister to please hurry there was someone else waiting for the bed. ABSOLUTELY NOT COOL. My sister got out of the tanning bed before her time was even done because she felt very uncomfortable knowing they were in such a huge hurry to get in the tanning room. Jennifer is extremely rude and we did not feel welcomed there at all. Because of this there is no way I would ever work out there. Go somewhere else where you won’t be judged the moment you walk in the door.

I’ve been coming to this gym for years, and I’ve always enjoyed the environment—until Jennifer became the manager. Under previous leadership, it was a great place, but since she took over months ago, everything has changed. Jennifer’s condescending attitude and snarky comments have made members uncomfortable, myself included. Her lack of professionalism and disregard for the members' experiences have left me feeling unwelcome. I’ve tried to overlook it, but after repeated negative interactions, I’ve made the decision to join a different gym chain. It's a shame, because this gym had so much potential before she was hired. A change in leadership could really make a difference here

I travel for work and have been to 12 locations. This is my favorite one. Big. Spacious. Clean. Some gyms only have certain machines. Each gym a different combination of machines. This gym has them all. The machines are on point with angles and don't hurt your joints. I read complaints on staff. Why are you interacting with staff? Everything is online. Read complaints it was too hot. It isn't. Even if it is it is good on your joints and this may be a newsflash but you WANT to sweat.

The new general manager is going to run this place into the ground! I’ve heard her talking bad about customers behind their backs to other employees. Since she has been there pretty much all the employees that are nice to talk to have quit and the ones that remain seem very stressed when they work with her. I had an issue with billing and instead of issuing the refund (that was wrongly billed the day before I called) she chose to argue with me and blame me for the fact that my account was not properly deactivated. I have not continued to go to the gym since I went in to cancel, and I did not notice I still had an account until the annual fee came out of my account. I asked for a corporate number and she refused to give me any assistance for her higher up. Hopefully the owner sees this and reaches out to me since she hung up on me. I also don’t appreciate how when we were talking the more escalated things were and the more frustrated I was she started calling me names like lovely, girl I am not your friend I am not your granddaughter I am a grown woman do not call me anything accept ma’am. Hopefully the better business bureau will resolve this better since this location doesn’t care about their customers.

The most inappropriate gym I have ever been to. The front desk girl was hitting on my husband. She also gave him her phone number which he immediately handed to me. I asked for a manager and she said she was the management.
She asked what my ethnicity was, I'm not sure why she aked. I try to use all the amenities included in my membership but I'm always told that they're booked and I can't use them.

Sometimes on the weekends the front desk people are nowhere to be found when wanting to use the Black Card amenities and needing them to start the tanning bed or hydro massage. My biggest issue is the circuit room though. People blatantly use it incorrectly and not as designed or posted on the wall which causes conflict for those actually doing it the right way. I would seriously urge your staff to spend a week or two strictly enforcing the rules of the circuit so possibly people will understand that it isn't okay to use it incorrectly and cause issues that can easily be avoided.

Great gym is the reason for 3 stars. Would give 5 stars but the weekly staff changes, and the summer promotion for teens is forcing me to look for another gym. The high school kids are extremely distracting, rude, and an annoyance for your regular guests. Recommed for all of your locations to have any associate to walk the floor and ensure your location is not turned into a childcare facility. Employees at this location do not care. Very sad

Workers here are a joke. Well some. I was just breathing and the lunk alarm came on. My first alarm out of ALL the other Planet Fitness I go to. I knew they press the button. I was going to drop my weights and storm out but, I just finished my workout. I did not yell or scream... just breathing. I don't recommend going here because sometimes the workers can be very rude, the lunk alarm will go off on you, and they don't have much workout machines like the others. I would recommend going to the Planet Fitness on Wadsworth. Even though this place is new. It will also give you a bad or maybe good experience. Don't go here and go to any other gym. She refused to help with an issue with my membership and then the next time I saw her she was just very standoffish. If you don't like working somewhere you should go somewhere else. New facility so all the equipment is new and working, plus it is relatively uncrowded even in the middle of January. It is a Planet Fitness, so all the normal rules apply. If you use it, you get your money's worth, if not, that's on you.
